Seeing Opportunities for Self-Transcendence

I am the Ascended Master Serapis Bey. We have now turned an important corner in the progression of this book and the course you are taking under me as the Chohan of the Fourth Ray. As I said in my last discourse, you have now come to a point where you have a greater acceptance of me as a facilitator. You are running on your own inner motivation for walking the path. I do not need to present you anything that you can react to or react against. We need to go with your own motivation, and I simply facilitate your own discovery of what takes you higher on the path.

We have now come to the level where you face the combination of the Fourth Ray of Purity with the Fifth Ray, which has often been called the ray of vision or the ray of healing. These two are, naturally, linked. Why do you need to be healed? Because you are unwhole. Why are you unwhole? Well, because you have a distorted or limited vision, you do not have a whole vision. Naturally, purifying your vision is a key to healing as it is a key to growth. The Fifth Ray, of course, is also the ray of manifestation, materialization, using your vision to produce changes in the material world.

When you come to this point and you have the desire to purify your vision, then I will take you through a series of steps in your finer bodies. What I will do in this discourse is to take you through a series of steps in your conscious mind that can help you tune in to and also pass the initiations in my retreat. You can thereby pass the initiations consciously and anchor the lessons in your conscious mind as well as your three higher bodies.

How fallen beings distort vision

The first thing I would like to present to you is the concept of how the fallen beings have used vision and are using vision. You will, of course, see that there are a number of ideas in the world that are aimed at limiting people’s vision, distorting their vision or guiding their vision into a certain track, a certain dead end, as we might say. I have talked about ideas that have a certain energetic hook built within them, but these ideas often form a filter. If you want to have a visual illustration, you may envision that in front of your vision, there is a device similar to a kaleidoscope.

You know that a kaleidoscope has certain panels inside of it with glass beads that the light shines through, and the light is colored by the glass. You know that these can be rearranged so they form various patterns. The ideas created by the fallen beings are like these panels in the kaleidoscope that distort your vision.

You also know that in a kaleidoscope you normally cannot see through, you cannot see anything on the other end. What I desire you to see here is that your three higher bodies, your identity, mental and emotional body, form a kind of kaleidoscope.

How is a kaleidoscope compared with binoculars? If the kaleidoscope was totally cleared from any colored glass patterns, you would be able to see clearly what the material world is like. Because you have certain colored patterns in the three higher bodies, your vision is limited and distorted, colored by these ideas that you hold. The fallen beings are very active and very aggressive in promoting ideas and constantly seeking to get people to believe in them. What I want to draw to your attention here is that the fallen beings actually have a much easier task than you might think.

If the fallen beings can get you over a certain hump, then they do not have to be concerned with you anymore. Your mind now becomes a closed circle that is a self-reinforcing limiting spiral, a downward spiral. The fallen beings no longer need to limit your vision because once they have pushed you over a certain hump, you are limiting your own vision.

The purpose of expanding our sense of self

How does this happen? Well, let me explain to you something about how the material universe works. You understand that you are a spirit spark, you are a spiritual being. We have explained that what descends into the physical body, as an extension of the I AM Presence, is the Conscious You. We have said that this is pure awareness, meaning that it really does not have any built-in, inherent limitations. You can take on any role you want to play in the material universe, but you can also free yourself from the role because the Conscious You is not changed by the role. This is illustrated by my image of the kaleidoscope-binocular. The Conscious You is not changed by the panels that are put into the kaleidoscope. Its vision is changed, but the Conscious You itself is not changed. You can therefore remove the panels and clarify, purify, your vision anytime you want.

The purpose of the material universe is that Spirit – which you may call God or the Creator as you like, or you may call it an ascended being in the ascended realm – looks at this unascended sphere and sends an extension of itself into it. The purpose is that this extension starts out with a very limited, a very localized, sense of self. Through its interaction with the material world, this extension then expands its sense of self until it reaches the point where it can ascend from the unascended sphere and become an ascended master.

From there, you can continue to raise yourself to higher and higher levels of consciousness, up through the previous ascended spheres all the way to the Creator consciousness. When you reach that Creator consciousness, you now have the same awareness as your Creator, the same level of awareness and creativity. Because you were not created at this level, but have gone through the entire process of gradually growing, you have a much greater experience, a much greater awareness of how to express your creative abilities. This means that you are much better equipped to creating your own world than if you had not gone through this process.

If you had been created on a blank page, you would have had to experiment with your creative abilities and possibly make mistakes. The wisdom is that you start with much more limited creative abilities than that of a Creator so your mistakes are much more limited and much more easy to overcome. When I say “mistakes,” I, of course, am using a word familiar to you. From the ascended state of consciousness, we do not look at it as mistakes but simply as experiments that were not a full expression of who you are. This, of course, applies to you as well in the material world. This is why we have no condemnation of you, the sense of shame and condemnation being created by the fallen beings.

The basis for a limited vision

When you first descend as a new being into an unascended sphere, you have a very localized sense of self. At this point, you have, as the popular saying goes, only one way to go: “The only way to go is up.” As you gain experiences in an unascended sphere, you gradually expand your sense of self. As Maitreya explains in his book, there comes a point where you need to no longer follow the teacher who is assisting you in expanding your sense of self. You come to the point where you need to become self-sufficient, and that means you need to experiment on your own instead of only doing what the teacher tells you to do.

It is, of course, at this point that you must face the initiation represented by the duality consciousness. This is the initiation where instead of seeing yourself as an extension of the hierarchy above you, as I have talked about in my previous discourses, you come to see yourself as an individual being, an isolated being, a separate being. You think you are creating on your own power, your own experience. Everyone must deal with this state of consciousness to some degree.

This does not mean you have to go into it and stay there and get lost in it. It is, of course, a possibility that some will choose to go into it. There is nothing inherently wrong with this, as it is just another experience. What can happen at this point is that you form a desire to go into a state of forgetting who you are and then from there, growing back to a higher awareness of who you are. Again, this is not wrong, this is simply another experience that is possible in an unascended sphere. This is a point where you can lose your conscious tie to your spiritual teacher and thereby lose your conscious awareness, your sense of identity of yourself as a connected being that is part of something greater than yourself.

How do you have this experience? As I said, you start out with a very localized sense of awareness, sense of self. You are aware that you are a part of something greater, you are connected to something. You start your creative efforts in a protected sphere where you are in constant contact with a spiritual teacher. This means that in the beginning phase of your growth in self-awareness, you are expanding your sense of self. You therefore come to a point where you have a greater sense of self than when you started. You also have a greater sense of self than what can be fit into the experience as a separate being.

How can the Conscious You go into what for most human beings on earth is the normal sense of self and experience that from the inside—and at the same time be completely convinced that this is real? How do you gain this sense of reality that you are a separate being, that you are living in a separate world where there is no direct connection to God and perhaps there is no God? How does this become real to you?

Well, it can become real only by limiting your vision. It is as I say, you start out with a binocular and then you put certain colored panes of glass in it that limit and distort your vision. Again, there is nothing wrong with this. This is actually not a fall; it is simply one possibility for expanding your self-awareness.

What you do as a co-creator is that you deliberately put yourself in a limited state in order to grow from there. You want to have the experience of going into an unascended sphere, taking on the body and mind of a human being on earth and at first being completely lost in that state. Again, when you do this, you are in a sense in the same situation as when you were first created: The only way to go is up. Being a human being on earth is such a limited state of consciousness that you really can only go up in self, or at least that is how it was in the original state.

The original intent that you had was that you would go into the identity as a human being and you would gradually expand on it until you were ready to ascend from the unascended sphere. What I am saying here is that in the original design, your original intention, you would gradually grow in self-awareness. You would constantly be moving up in self-awareness. You would start out with a limited vision and you would gradually purify your vision until you again saw yourself as part of the spiritual hierarchy above you.

What the fallen beings add to this mix, and what they added to the situation on earth after they were allowed to embody here, is that you can become stuck in the role, you can become stuck in the limited vision. Instead of constantly and gradually moving up to a purer and purer vision, you either get stuck at a certain level or you even start going down to a more and more limited vision.

Developing Self-Sufficient Intentions

I AM the Ascended Master Serapis Bey. My purpose for this discourse is to give you some conscious hints that will help you pass the initiations on the fourth level of my retreat. This is, of course, the level where you get a double dose of purity.

What I would like to start with is to have you realize that you have now reached the point on your spiritual path – on the path of self-mastery – where you need to manifest your own built-in, inherent, self-sufficient motivation for walking the path. We of the Chohans know that we have to start people out gently. On the first three levels we give you certain teachings, certain techniques that you can respond to. It is, as I said in my last discourse, in recognition of the fact that for most people life has for so long been a tennis match where they are used to somebody sending the ball back at them, and, therefore, there is always something to react to. We need you to come to a point where your motivation for walking the spiritual path is not a reaction to or against anything in the material world.

We understand very well that this can be a difficult initiation because many of you have – whether you have been aware consciously or intuitively – been aware for a long time that there is a force that opposes your spiritual progress. You may call it the force of darkness, the force of evil, the fallen beings or whatever you may call it. It is natural that after having been aware of this for some time, you develop an idea that part of your motivation for walking the spiritual path is to get away from, to free yourself from, to cheat or to rise above the dark forces. You do understand what I am saying, do you not? It is very easy to get into the mode where your motivation for walking the spiritual path is related to – and therefore to some degree defined by – the fallen beings. I have talked about the false hierarchy, and they have been very clever in inserting many ideas that can actually distort people’s view of the spiritual path to such a degree that it delays their progress or even takes them into a blind alley that it may take them lifetimes to get out of.

Self-sufficient intentions

What I need you to do at this level of my retreat is to take an honest look at your intentions. We have said before that even fearing the false hierarchy opens you up to the false hierarchy. This may not be in the sense that the false hierarchy can directly reach into your mind and influence you that way. They can influence you indirectly by causing you to run away from what you fear or not be willing to look at something you fear. This causes many spiritual students to have certain elements in their own consciousness that they are not willing to look at. If you are very concerned about not following the false hierarchy, for example, you may not be willing to look at some of the ideas that they have inserted into your subconscious mind in this or past lifetimes.

You would feel so ashamed, so mortified, so terrified if you had to admit that you had certain elements of the fallen consciousness in your subconscious mind. You may even fear that I, Serapis Bey, would reject you if it was exposed that you had such elements. This, of course, will not help you take advantage of the help I offer you.

As I have already said, you cannot hide anything from me. There is hardly any person that comes to my retreat on the path of self-mastery who does not have elements of the fallen consciousness or beliefs created by the fallen beings, the false hierarchy, in their subconscious minds. How can you be alive on this planet for several lifetimes without being affected by the many illusions and lies that are out there? For me there is nothing unusual, there is nothing negative, there is nothing I need to judge about you having these elements. I am not here to judge you, shame you or find fault. I am here to help you transcend everything that limits you on the spiritual path. One of the things that will limit you is if you have certain elements inserted by the fallen beings or the dark forces. Even if you have not had anything directly inserted, you may have that fear – which in a way is also an insertion – and just seeking to avoid looking at something will, of course, hold you back on the path. It can be no other way.

I need you to come to the point where you realize that your real motivation for walking the spiritual path should not be in any way related to the dark forces or the false hierarchy. Your real motivation should come from within and should be related to your own Divine plan for this lifetime, in the short run, and in the long run to your original purpose for coming to earth. I propose that you ponder this very carefully with your conscious mind. Again, you may find it helpful to make a list of the intentions and the motives that you have that you can see are based on some kind of reaction towards the dark forces. Is there anything you are seeking to avoid, to run away from, to raise yourself above?

I need you to consciously contemplate what it is that you truly love about spirituality and about life. Many times we see students come to my retreat and they have so many limitations programmed into their minds that they dare not even really consider what they truly want. I ask you to perform an exercise where you take a piece of paper, you give the invocation based on this discourse and then afterwards you write down whatever comes to you about the topic of what you really want to do in life. I need you to be conscious of the fact that you need to set aside the limitations you have. I am asking you, in the beginning, to approach this as a theoretical exercise. You are saying that if – theoretically – you did not have any of the limitations you are facing in your current situation or in your psychology, what is it you would really like to do?

I am not asking you to speculate on what I want you to do, what other ascended masters want you to do or what God wants you to do. I am not asking you to speculate on what the fallen beings do not want you to do. I am not asking you to think about what other people do or don’t want you to do. I am asking you to consider – if you had no limitations whatsoever – what would you really like to do in life?

Different types of intentions

You will notice that the answers to this question may fall into two categories. There may be some that relate to unfulfilled desires and dreams that you have. Something you have never been able to do but that you have always wanted to do. There is nothing wrong with this. It may be experiences you have desired to have.

What I ask you to do is look beyond this, and then consider that there is also another category and these are things that you want to do, not so much for a personal purpose but more for an impersonal purpose. You may see this as a service to life; you may see this as a desire to change something on this planet, to bring some kind of positive change. As we have said many times, most of you who are spiritual people volunteered to come to this planet in order to bring positive change by bringing your light, your insights, your momentums and your experiences. There will be a certain percentage of the things you want to do in life that relate to this, a desire to change something on earth.

I now need you to look more closely at these. Perhaps you may give the invocation again or give my decree some times. Perhaps you may sit calmly and quietly, close your eyes and meditate upon this. What I desire you to do is to begin to see beyond all of the things that you want to do, that you feel obligated to do or that you feel you should do in order to make a change on earth. I need you to see that beyond these activities, there will be some motives, some intentions, that do not relate to you wanting to do anything outside yourself. Instead, they relate to what gives you the most joy in your own being.

You may not be able to see this very clearly in the beginning. You may find it difficult to put words on it. What I am seeking to help you discover here is that your original motivation for coming to earth had an Alpha and an Omega aspect. The Omega aspect was that you wanted to bring certain changes because you saw that there were conditions on this earth that needed to be left behind. The Alpha aspect was that you wanted to share your light, your I AM Presence, your God flame, your unique individual matrix. You wanted to express your individuality in a creative way. I have talked about the fact that walking the spiritual path is not a straitjacket. It still gives you room for individual creativity. This individual creativity is, in its pure form, not directed at producing certain changes that are a reaction to the way conditions currently are on earth. Creativity in its pure form is related to expressing who you are, your Divine individuality. The pure expression of creativity is not a matter of producing outer results, outer changes, especially not changes that are dependent on the choices of other beings with free will, be they in physical embodiment or the fallen beings in other realms.

Creativity in its essence is related to expressing who you are for the pure joy that it gives you to feel the light that God gave you flowing through the prism of the individuality that God gave you. I understand that you may not be able to tune in to this consciously at the moment. By pondering it and making calls about it, you will gradually begin to get some sense of this. It is very important that you get a sense of what gives you this pure sense of joy that is not related to anything outside yourself because this is the purest intention you have for being on earth. It is also an intention that you can express regardless of the outer conditions or limitations you are facing.

Your highest motivation

I had you do the exercise of saying: “What if I didn’t have any limitations? What would I express?” I now ask you to take this to a higher level where you realize that, regardless of what limitations you are facing in your outer situation, there is nothing in those limitations that can prevent you from being the open door for the light and the individuality of your I AM Presence to flow through you. This can be done in any situation and this is what I need you to ponder. This is the only way that you are going to develop a motivation that comes completely from inside yourself and therefore cannot be affected by, destroyed by or held back by anything outside yourself.

On the path of self-mastery there must come a point where your motivation for walking the path is only related to your conscious desire, your conscious vision, of wanting to express who you really are in the material world. This is the highest motivation for walking the path, and it is what you need in order to pass the initiations under the Chohans on the Fifth, Sixth and Seventh Ray. That is why I am the one who prepares you for those rays because you are now in the eye of the needle, the nexus.

When you begin to get a feel for your inner being and what gives you joy, you can also begin to take a look at your outer situation. I have so many students who come to me and when we sit at my retreat and take a look at their outer situation, they so often say: “But Serapis, can’t you see I’m facing these limitations in my outer situation? How can I be truly spiritual, how can I express my creativity when I face these situations every day of my life? How can I quit my job, abandon my children and family and do something that is entirely creative or spiritual?”

That is not what we of the Chohans are asking you to do. There is a false motivation that has been created by the fallen beings, the false hierarchy, over many centuries. In previous centuries, it was often expressed, for example, in the Christian culture by the entire monastic culture. There was a belief that if you were a truly religious person, you would devote your life to God by going into a monastery.

You would withdraw from ordinary human life because it was considered to be in opposition to true spiritual devotion and worship of God. It was considered that God actually valued these people who withdrew from ordinary life, isolated themselves in a very comfortable environment where they were not confronted by many aspects of their own ego and therefore did not make spiritual progress or did not make significant spiritual progress.

This is not what we of the ascended masters look at as the ideal. There was a time where it was valuable for some people to be able to withdraw in order to gather momentum on the spiritual path. This does not mean that all people who lived in monasteries made progress. In today’s world, in the Aquarian Age, it is, as we have said many times, not necessary or even constructive that too many people withdraw from society. It is far more important that you are spiritual and find a way to express your spirituality in everyday life. It is important that you do not isolate yourselves but demonstrate how to be spiritual even in an anti-spiritual society.

It is important for your own growth that you do not isolate yourself in spiritual communities where the members can all validate each other. They can live very comfortably without having their egos disturbed so that they are forced to see them. So many spiritual communities function this way. If people are convinced that they are spiritual, but they are all validating each others egos, they are not helping each other see the ego and thus they are not overcoming them.

From Fear-Based to Love-Based Intentions

I AM the Ascended Master Serapis Bey. What can you expect when you reach the third level at my retreat, the level where you encounter the combination of the Fourth Ray of Purity with the Third Ray of Love? You can, of course, expect to encounter my love.

This presents somewhat of a problem for some ascended master students who have come to see the Fourth Ray from a certain perspective and who have come to see me as a strict disciplinarian. As I have already said, I am not strict and I am not disciplining anyone. At the third level, those students who have not let go of this image of me, need to do so before they can really start the initiations of that level. I, of course, seek to help students do this, partly by talking to them, partly by demonstrating that I too am a master of love, as is each and every Chohan.

Why we need not fear the masters

As we have said many times, you do not become an ascended master by having any kind of fear in your being. You become an ascended master by rising to a level of consciousness where you are the open door for the flow of love that comes from the ascended realm. There can be no fear in the mind of an ascended master.

There are, of course, many people on earth who fear encountering an ascended master or an angel. You may see in the Bible that in many cases where an angel appeared to someone, the angel would say: “fear not” because the people were in fear of anything out of the ordinary. There may be a fear among many ascended master students that you cannot hide anything from me. As I have said, when you are in my retreat, of course you cannot hide anything from me. Then again, if you are in my retreat intent on walking the path of initiation that I offer, why would you want to hide anything from me?

What I seek to demonstrate to you is that regardless of what I may see in your consciousness, I will still love you and I will still help you overcome that condition and move beyond it entirely. As I have said, the fourth level is the eye of the needle. The Fourth Ray represents the point on the course of self-mastery where you cannot go beyond until you purify your intention. When we say “purify your intention” we mean, of course, several things. The underlying need for purification is that you purify your intention of all fear-based intentions and raise yourself to a level where you only have love-based intentions left.

In order to do this, you must, of course, be willing to look at the fear-based intentions that you have. If you are afraid that I will condemn you if I see such intentions in you, then, of course, you cannot look at these. You will seek to hide them from yourself, thinking that if you can hide them from yourself, you can hide them from me also. This, naturally, is not the case. You can hide certain things from yourself, but you cannot hide them from me, for the simple reason that I have no fear in my being and therefore there is nothing behind which anything can be hidden.

How fear hides things

You do see, do you not, that it is only fear that forms a barrier behind which things can be hidden? Why is it so that fear forms a barrier that can hide things? Well, in reality fear does not form a barrier, fear does not have any substance that can actually hide things. What fear does is that it makes you unwilling to look at something. Of course, when you are not willing to look at something, then that something is hidden to your conscious mind, is it not? There is no substance that can hide things from you if you are truly willing to look at it.

That is also why there is nothing to fear about looking at something in your own psychology. You will overcome the fear by looking at it. In fact, the only way to overcome the fear is to look at it, to look beyond what you fear to see that it is not nearly as bad as what you thought and that it cannot stop you from making progress on the path.

What the fallen beings have done is to give you the fear that if you look at certain things in your consciousness and see certain aspects of the fallen consciousness in your subconscious mind, then we of the ascended masters will reject you and you cannot go further on the path. Nothing is further from the truth. Where have we ever said that before you can become a student of the ascended masters, you need to have purified your consciousness from all impurities?

Think about it. I am the Chohan of the Fourth Ray of Purity. What is my role? It is to help students apply the Fourth Ray of Purity and use it to consume impurities. If you had no impurities, why would you need my help? My entire work as a Chohan is geared towards helping people overcome their impurities. How could I perform my work if I was constantly judging students and putting them down for having the impurities that I am here to help them overcome? It makes no sense when you think about it, but, of course, the fallen beings will try to prevent you from thinking about it and therefore hide behind the fear or seek to hide your impurities behind the fear.

You can, in fact, hide your impurities for the false teachers of the false hierarchy. The reason for this is that the false teachers also have fear in their beings. Therefore, what you cannot see, they in some cases cannot see either if they have not been willing to see it in themselves. I hope you realize that all fallen beings and false teachers have fear in their beings.

The more a being seems to have power and the ability to control, the more fear it has in its being. Why do you need to control? In order to be able to live with your fear! The greater the fear, the more you must exercise control in order to live with your fear. You need to ponder this with your conscious mind. You need to look at the world and see how some leaders throughout history, and even today, have, so to speak, ruled people with an iron fist, attempting to instill fear in their followers. They do this because they are afraid themselves.

Well, my beloved, when you are on the path to self-mastery, you cannot afford to fear someone in the material world or even in the three other octaves. If you are serious about following the ascended masters, you cannot allow yourself to also follow a fear-based teacher. As I have said before, there is nothing wrong with you deciding or realizing that you have a need to experience what it is like to follow a fear-based teacher from whom you can hide certain aspects of your subconscious.

If you need this experience, I will respect your free will, but then, of course, I cannot help you and so there is no point in you being in my retreat. However, I will not condemn you, I will not be angry with you. I will simply be ready to welcome you when you have had enough of the experience and want a love-based teacher. We of the ascended masters are entirely love-based teachers. We have no need to control you because we do not fear you or anything else.

Discovering our fear-based intentions

Think about this very carefully because what I need you to do consciously, as you are following the initiations at the third level of my retreat in your finer bodies at night, is precisely to look at your life and look at the world and consider what intentions you have that are based on fear. If you look at the world today, you will see that the vast majority of the people have all of their intentions based on fear.

The fallen beings are very good at using the fear in themselves to control others. This we might say is one definition of a fallen being. I have said that many fallen beings have fallen from a previous sphere. This has in a certain sense taught them how to use fear, to use their own fear, to control others without overcoming their own fears. They still have the fears, but they have learned to use them to control others. They are, of course, also doing what I have talked about earlier: exercising a certain mastery of themselves by controlling themselves. This can give you some appearance of mastery, but it is not true self-mastery.

The fallen beings have been good at making you feel that you live in a world where there is something you need to fear. This fear takes innumerable forms. It is, of course, a fear that can be said to have a certain basis in the conditions you observe in the material realm on earth. As I said in my previous discourse, the fallen beings have defined certain secondary laws of nature because this is an unascended sphere. They have therefore defined certain laws and certain conditions that do present a difficulty, challenge, obstacle, opposition, threat, as it will be seen by most people. I am not trying to tell you, for example, that disease is not a reality, although a temporary one, on this planet. I am not telling you that the potential for war or conflict is not there or is not real.

What I am telling you is that the fallen beings have managed to get humankind to co-create the conditions that you see in the material universe. Then, the fallen beings have used those conditions to instill a fear in the population that causes most people to spend their entire lives acting based on fear-based intentions. Most people spend their entire energy seeking to somehow compensate for their fears, seeking to alleviate the fears so that they can live with them. This, of course, is, as the popular saying goes, not a way to live, at least not from the perspective of an ascended master.

It is, however, the way to live for people who have not taken responsibility for themselves and their own state of mind. They have a ready excuse in the conditions in the material universe for feeling that they do not need to look at their fears. They do not need to take responsibility, they do not need to accept that they have the power to raise themselves beyond, not only their fears but even the conditions that they fear. If you will not take responsibility for yourself, you need an excuse for not doing so. The fallen beings have supplied an almost endless number of such excuses through the fears of conditions in the material world. While you are going through the initiations on the third level of my retreat, and while you are giving these invocations every day, I need you to consciously look at your intentions. I need you to consider how many things you do and have done in your life that are aimed at either protecting yourself from certain conditions that you fear, compensating for such conditions or in other ways alleviating your fears of these conditions so that you can live with them.

I need you to, possibly, make a list. It can be a list in your head or it can be a written list; that I will leave up to you. You need to make some kind of list over what intentions you have acted upon in your life and that you are acting upon today that are based on fear. Then I need you to make another list of the intentions you either have or would like to have if you had no fears.

Pure Intentions for Seeking Wisdom

Ascended Master Serapis Bey through Kim Michaels, January 3, 2016.

I am the Ascended Master Serapis Bey. The purpose of this discourse is to give to your outer awareness some pointers that will help you tune in to and pass the initiations on the second level at my retreat at Luxor. This, of course, is the level of the Second Ray, the ray of wisdom. We have already gone through important insights and initiations under Lord Lanto but I aim to take them a bit further by linking wisdom to your intention, the purity of your intention for seeking wisdom.

I would like you to consider how the world looks at wisdom. There was a time, many centuries and even millennia ago, where wisdom was looked at differently than it is today. You, who have grown up in the modern world, can scarcely imagine how people of ancient times looked at wisdom. I am not thereby saying that their approach to wisdom was necessarily superior to what can be achieved today. I am saying that it was certainly more nuanced and in a sense also a deeper understanding of wisdom than what you have in most of the educational establishments in the modern world.

Limits to human knowledge

Back then, people realized that there was a limit to human knowledge. This was, of course, easier for them because human knowledge was much more limited back then than it is today. You have grown up in a world where there is an information explosion. Never has there been so much knowledge available to all human beings on earth. Well, actually, when I say “never,” I mean according to your recorded history, for surely in past ages there were civilizations where even more knowledge was available than today. In what you call history, you live in a society where there is so much wisdom, so much knowledge, available that you cannot comprehend it all. There is no one who can know everything.

Back in ancient times, where there was less knowledge available, people realized that the only way to truly be successful in life was not through outer knowledge but through an inner wisdom. This was a higher form of wisdom that came in the form of what you today call intuition, but which back then they used different names for than you use today. They saw it as guidance from Above. Some cultures saw this as spiritual teachers, as spirit guides, some as a higher part of your own being. They realized that there was a higher form of knowledge or wisdom than what the human mind itself could produce.

There were also other cultures and other time periods where there was more of an understanding of what we might call the wisdom of the Mother, the feminine wisdom. This is the knowledge of how the world works, how the universe works. There were many people who had achieved a greater intuitive understanding for how the world works than even your scientists have today. I am not saying that this was a superior form of wisdom necessarily, although in some cases there were people who knew intuitively how the world works beyond what even your best scientists can do today. For example, there were people who had a better intuitive understanding of the human body and could therefore perform certain acts of healing that were beyond what the best doctors can do today. What they could not do back then was explain how and why these cures worked, and this, of course, is one difference and one area where today you have made a certain amount of progress. It is not my intention here to say that the immense explosion of knowledge created by science over the last several centuries is primitive or wrong.

Self-mastery and knowledge from within

I do aim to help you, as an ascended master student engaging in the path of self-mastery, to see that you are not going to attain self-mastery through knowledge that comes to you from without. If you will look at society as it is today and how it looks at wisdom or knowledge, you will see that there is a clear tendency to think that reliable knowledge can only come from some kind of expert, some kind of authority figure.

There are still societies where they look to religious authorities to tell you what is the only way to believe about certain aspects of life. These religious authorities supposedly base this on their knowledge of the scriptures or in certain cases on some Divine revelation. There are other areas of society where they look to scientists to provide reliable knowledge.

Now again, science has made great progress in explaining many things about how the material universe works. However, as a spiritual student you need to realize that the approach taken by modern science is very limited. It is limited precisely because at a very early stage science became a tool for certain fallen beings who attempted to use it. First, they attempted to use it as a way to take the same power in society that other fallen beings had taken through religion. The warfare between science and religion is, therefore, to a large extent the rivalry between two groups of fallen beings.

After they had taken some of the power away from religion, the fallen beings who are using science now started using it as a way to control people. You may think that the fallen beings have many reasons for wanting to control people and, yes there are different levels of fallen beings and they have different motivations for why they want to control people. Behind them all, there is one overall desire when it comes to people who are in embodiment on earth, and that desire is that the fallen beings want to make sure that you cannot manifest personal Christhood.

Personal Christhood is, of course, a state where you know from within what is valid knowledge and what is not valid knowledge. You are self-sufficient, you are independent, there is no authority figure, there is no expert, who can tell you something that will override what you know from within. Christhood is the combination of the ability to receive knowledge from a higher source – namely your I AM Presence and the ascended masters – and the ability to tune in to the material universe and the wisdom of the Mother.

The fascination with intellectual knowledge

When you come to the second level of initiation at my retreat, I need to exert a considerable effort to help the students overcome their fixation, their fascination, with outer, intellectual, scientific knowledge. This I do in various ways, but I do it primarily by taking the students into a room specially constructed for this purpose. This is a room that I have constructed with the help of Lord Lanto. It is a room where we can, as Lanto has described in his retreat, show the energy of wisdom, the energy of knowledge. We can show the geometric forms behind what you call outer knowledge, meaning knowledge that can be expressed in words.

We can therefore show you what is the energy behind worldly knowledge. We can even show you how there are certain ideas, certain types of knowledge, that are not neutral. You will know that the Holy Grail of scientific materialism has, for a couple of centuries, been objectivity. This is supposedly where the mind of the scientist does not influence the observations. It is believed that the conclusions drawn based on those observations are not influenced by the mind of the scientist.

It is therefore believed that scientific knowledge is completely neutral. It aims only to give you the truth; it has no other agenda or effect. We can, however, show you at an energetic level how there are some theories in the world, even some that are commonly believed by most people, that have certain energetic hooks embedded within them.

I know this is difficult to visualize, but it is not so difficult when you compare it to the world of computers. You know very well that a computer program has a certain code. It is coded in the language used for that particular computer. The computer program may contain information that it can give to you but the information is encoded. You also know that it is possible, between or inside a computer code, to insert hidden codes that are called viruses. These are codes that can go into your computer and perform various actions that have nothing to do with the outer program that they are riding on. You can have a situation where one thing is displayed on your computer screen, but at the same time there is a hidden virus that is doing something that you are not aware of. Well, it is the same with these ideas and theories created by the fallen beings. They all have outer knowledge that they claim have a certain aim, a certain theory, a certain intent of explaining how reality works. Hidden within it are encoded ideas, even energetic signals, that are not seen by the conscious mind, but they go into the subconscious mind and act as a computer virus.

All of you, who have been brought up in the modern world, have been programmed with certain ideas that at the surface level claim to give you knowledge – valid, neutral, objective knowledge – but that are in reality programming your minds in certain ways that work against your spiritual growth and the manifestation of your Christhood. There are many examples of this. I do not here intend to go into a longer discourse about it because this is the work of many ascended masters for another time. What I do aim to show you is just an example of what you will learn at my retreat.

Purity and the Power of Intention

Ascended Master Serapis Bey through Kim Michaels, January 2, 2016.

I AM the ascended master Serapis Bey. I am the Chohan of the Fourth Ray. As you know, it has often been called the ray of purity but I have also called it the ray of acceleration. It is, of course, a combination of both, for how do you purify something unless you accelerate it?

What I want to point out in this discourse is exactly what this course is about and what the goal is on the first level of initiation at my retreat. We have called this course: A Course in Self-Mastery. Ponder the word “self-mastery.” You are mastering the Self, you are not mastering the world or other people. You are mastering the Self. Through mastery of the Self you may indeed be able to influence your environment, your surroundings, your personal situation, but you will not be able to influence other people in the sense that you force them to comply with your desires.

The purpose of mind over matter

We have also said that the purpose of this course is to raise you from the 48th to the 96th level of consciousness. We have said that as you approach the 96th level, you will achieve the mastery of mind over matter. This I want to discourse on, for it is often something that is misunderstood by spiritual students of all kinds, including ascended master students.

You can find books in the world that are aimed at giving people the power of precipitation, precipitating whatever they want, often riches or gold, for example. Our course is not directed at helping you precipitate riches or other things you want in the sense that you bring it forth “out of the blue” so to speak.

The mastery of mind over matter that we aim to give you is not a matter of performing party tricks that can impress other people or performing actions that can enrich yourself. We are not seeking to teach you some kind of black magic whereby you can control matter or the external world while still having so much ego that you are doing it from a self-centered perspective.

This mastery of mind over matter is, of course, something that we desire to see you develop, but it must be developed in total synchronicity with the mastery of self. What you too often see in the world is that there are people who desire to have some kind of mastery over matter whereby they, for example, can manifest certain things, but they are not willing to follow the course of attaining mastery over self. This, of course, is not what we of the ascended masters teach to our real students.

Self-mastery is not a mechanical skill

I want to point something out to you that many ascended master students have not understood. Self-mastery is not a task you can learn in the same way as you learn, for example, to drive a car. Many of the skills that are required in order to do well in the world have a somewhat mechanical nature. They can be mastered to a certain degree by almost anyone who is willing to apply themselves to practicing the skill. There may be some that will never learn to drive a car beyond the ordinary level, but many can learn to drive a car at a fairly high level, even a professional level, if they apply enough time and practice.

There are many, many spiritual students throughout the ages who have approached self-mastery the same way. They think it is a mechanical path that you can follow. If you take all of the steps outlined, then you will automatically attain the mastery promised. You will see that there are many organizations or even teachers who claim that they can take you on a course of initiation, a path of initiation, and this will give you some special abilities.

This is not how the ascended masters teach. We are not concerned about you having specific abilities, whether it be clairvoyance or the ability to manifest things. This is not our concern at all. Our concern is the raising of your consciousness, which is achieved through self-mastery. Or you may say that self-mastery is achieved through the raising of your consciousness, whatever you prefer.

The raising of consciousness is not a mechanical path. Going back into the mists of history, there have always been certain schools, organizations or gurus who have claimed that they can take their students on a mechanical path. You know, for example that the Freemasons have 33 levels of initiation, and when you go through these steps of initiation, you get a certain title. Many other schools and gurus are the same way. If you go through the outer initiations and if you do not fail miserably, then you will automatically get a title.

You see, of course, the same in the educational institutions of the world. If you study a certain topic long enough and if you fulfill certain outer requirements, you will get a degree. You now have a diploma saying that you are supposedly an expert in this or that topic. Does having a diploma saying you are a psychologist necessarily mean that you have an intuitive feel for what psychology is all about, including your own psychology and how it works? Well, as many have demonstrated, it does not, and it is the same for the path of initiation under the ascended masters.

The false path of the fallen beings

There is always a danger in giving a set of books that describe the initiations you go through at the seven retreats of the Chohans when you are following the path to self-mastery. Anyone can buy the book and read the lessons and perform the invocations and thereby take the outer steps.

There is, of course, a reason why we start at the First Ray and build up through there. We of the Chohans coordinate our efforts so that we have a coordinated plan. It is clearly only valid for a student to start at the First Ray, go through the Second, then the Third and then finally the Fourth Ray that I represent. When you have a book that contains the teachings and initiations, it is quite possible that someone can buy this book without having gone through the other three. It will, when all books are completed, be possible that someone can buy the set, go through from the first one to the seventh, read all the lessons, perform all the invocations and then they will think they have completed the course. That is not the way it works on the true path of initiation.

The fallen beings, which we have sometimes called the false hierarchy, have indeed attempted to create a mechanical path of initiation. Their dream is that if you go through certain outer steps and fulfill certain outer requirements, then you will automatically acquire a certain title or even certain abilities.

It is possible, at least for some people, to attain a certain mastery over matter without having purified the self and thereby attained self-mastery. This, of course, is the dream of the fallen beings. They do not want to purify the self, they do not want to attain true self-mastery. In fact, they do not want to attain self-mastery, they want to attain the mastery of being able to control other people or even physical matter.

The Flame of Acceleration

Serapis Bey I am, and in the decree I have released, there are a couple of lines that I wish to draw to your attention. They say: “Serapis Bey, your life a poem, that calls me to my starry home.” My beloved, ponder this statement, ponder what is implied here, ponder the feelings that it might arouse in you. Then consider, when you look back at world history, that from the earliest civilizations and beyond, people have looked up into the heavens and longed for something, longed for being somewhere else, somewhere out there among the stars, somewhere away from where they are right now here on earth, in these limited physical bodies, in these limited situations that human beings have collectively created.

When people face the return of their karma or the limitations of the matter realm, they often look up into the stars and cry out for freedom. I will not deny, of course, that some of you who will be hearing or reading this teaching, will have come to earth from other planetary systems in other galaxies. Therefore, you might even look up and have some inner memory of a starry home.

Nevertheless, I put these lines in my decree to help you get in contact with the inner longing so that you might come to a higher discernment that there is a false longing and a true longing. The true longing is indeed for oneness with your I AM Presence. Your true starry home is your I AM Presence, not somewhere in the material realm in this physical universe, not some other star system, not some other planet somewhere where life is supposedly better than on earth. I am, of course, not denying that there are planets where life is indeed much better than it is on earth because the planetary collective consciousness has been raised to a higher level.

Accelerate your sense of self

Nevertheless, my point is this: As long as you long for some better place in the physical realm, you cannot transcend the physical realm, you cannot ascend. Not only that, you cannot truly accelerate into a higher state. You cannot accelerate beyond the state you have when you have passed the initiations of the first three rays and therefore come to the retreat of Serapis Bey, saying: “Serapis, take me further. I have heard that you are the one who can take me further.”

I look you squarely in the eye and I say: “Nay, you have heard wrong. I, Serapis Bey, cannot take you further. You are the only one who can take yourself further by accelerating your sense of self. I may play some role in inspiring you to come to the point where you are willing to go through this acceleration, but I can do nothing for you. You must be the doer, without being the doer with the outer mind. You must crack the enigma of what it means to accelerate, to truly accelerate, but not in the ego’s way; in the way of the Christ.”

You must ponder the longings that spring from the ego, the longing for some other place where things are better, which is really a longing away from where you are. You cannot accelerate as long as you long to get away, for acceleration does not mean that you take what is and accelerate it. Acceleration means that you transcend what is by letting go of it, by surrendering it. The key to acceleration is to first surrender that to which you are attached.

You see, my beloved, it is very simple. You may get the idea that what is holding you back on the spiritual path are certain energies that have been absorbed into your auric field. This is not untrue. There are energies that are holding you back. You might think that you ascend or rise higher by accelerating these energies. Indeed, you must accelerate the energies, for until you have purified the energies, they will be a dead weight that will hold you back.

Even if you accelerated all of the energies in your auric field, you would not automatically ascend. What must you do then? You must accelerate your sense of self! Here is the difference: Your sense of self is not made of energy, therefore it is not a matter of taking a lower vibration and accelerating that vibration gradually until you reach a higher vibration by crossing the threshold between love and fear. The acceleration of self does not work that way. The acceleration of self is not by accelerating your sense of self from the level it is at to a higher level.

The quantum leap by letting the old self die

Once you have accepted a sense of self based on the duality consciousness, based on the sense of separation, that ego-based self cannot be accelerated. It can only be allowed to die whereby your sense of self takes a quantum leap. Do you understand, my beloved? Probably you do not, for you have not contemplated this thoroughly. Then, perhaps study a little bit about popular science and see what it actually meant – what a radical departure from previous worldviews it was – when Max Planck discovered that light is not emitted in a continuous stream but in discrete units, which he called “quanta.”

You either are the limited self or you are a higher self. There is no gradual path from one to the other. It is not a matter of accelerating the self you have right now. It is a matter of taking the quantum leap by letting the old self die. You are letting go of that life in order to follow Christ and accept the higher sense of self. You attain it by accelerating your self, accelerating what we have called the Conscious You, into a higher state whereby you take on a more Christ-like appearance and likeness.

This is the key that I can teach you in my retreat, if you are willing. So many students come to my retreat without that willingness, and it can take students a very long time to develop that willingness to let the old die. They come to my retreat thinking that they can somehow fool me into helping them accelerate their ego–based self. It is amazing how long students can hold on to this belief; it is amazing how the serpent of the ego will squirm and wiggle around, trying to hide itself from my penetrating eyes, my purifying eyes, and think that it can hide.

It is amazing how long it can take before a student finally one day looks at me, looks me straight in the eyes and accepts: “I can hide nothing from Serapis so I must either stop trying or I must leave his retreat. For what place do I have here, if I am seeking to hide my ego, if I am seeking to do the impossible? I am only fooling myself. I will never fool Serapis.”

Initiations at the Retreat of Serapis Bey

If they do not walk out of here at that moment, as some indeed do, they will look at my penetrating eyes and they will see my love. When they feel that love, then they can let the old die. They know that I will carry them in my arms until they have accepted that new sense of self. That is what I can do for you in my retreat. I can give you the sense that there will be something after the death of the limited self. I cannot carry you there. You must indeed let go and let the old die.

We do, of course, have various processes at my retreat that are aimed at helping people overcome this interim stage where they are still seeking to hide the ego. One I have already talked about several times before, and that is to put people into groups with other lifestreams with which they have various clashes. They have to work it out until they decide that acceleration is more important than playing these ego-based games. We do have another tool that I wish to bring to your attention.

It is something you may indeed contemplate, as you contemplate the journey beyond the Third Ray into the realm of the Fourth Ray of acceleration and purity. There is a room at my retreat; if you would describe it physically, you would say that it is a room with a very intricate geometry. It is not exactly spherical, for the walls are made up of smaller facets in various geometrical shapes. These facets are covered with a material that in an earthly sense would be like a mirror, but it is not a physical mirror that reflects visible light. It is a material that reflects any kind of energy that vibrates in the emotional, mental and etheric realm.

For those who are ready – for those who have reached a certain level, and certainly for those who have gone beyond the petty squabbles with others – they have the opportunity to enter this room where they will be, so to speak, suspended by an intricate harness that keeps them suspended in the center of the room without them directly touching any of the walls. The purpose for this is to make sure that they are not touching any of the reflecting surfaces. When the door is closed and a certain switch is turned on, what will happen is that the material on the surfaces will now begin to reflect back to you from all directions anything you are sending out with the subconscious and conscious mind.

Normally, as you are in physical embodiment on earth, you are, of course, constantly projecting out various mental images, various energies with your subconscious mind, with your emotional, mental and identity mind. You do not immediately feel a return of this because as the energy is projected out, it in most cases takes a while before it comes back, as it cycles through the material universe and through the three other realms of the material spectrum.

We have given you the concept of karma in its most primitive form of a linear concept. Certainly, we have also given you, by Master MORE, a more sophisticated understanding of karma. Much of what you encounter today as limitations, as a burden of energy, is karma from a past life. Therefore, you do not see any direct connection between cause and effect.

You are only seeing what came back, and you are not seeing what you sent out because of the time delay. This is both a grace and an opportunity, but it, of course, has the effect that you do not directly see what you sent out to cause the karmic return. When you go into the reflection room at my retreat, the time delay is removed. You are now instantly feeling a return of what you are sending out. Only, what you are feeling is a return that cannot be hidden by anything in your own being.

Ascended Master Gautama Buddha through Kim Michaels, January 1st, 2016

I AM the Ascended Master Gautama Buddha! I come with great peace on this New Year’s Eve. I come to radiate that peace to all of the people on earth who are able and willing to receive it. You may think that there are not so many ascended master students. You may think that there are not so many Buddhists who have understood the core of my teaching. But I tell you there are, indeed, many more people on earth who are ready and willing to receive the peace of the Buddha than it would appear from a superficial examination. This does not mean that these people know about ascended masters or that they are Buddhists in their outer minds. There are many, many people who have embodied so many times on this earth, and who have been exposed to so many atrocities and so much warfare and conflict, that they are ready for the peace of the Buddha.

Neither dualistic polarity is real

How many times have we told you that there are two ways to learn on earth? You can learn through higher direction or you can learn through the school of hard knocks. We have explained to you that the duality consciousness always has two opposite polarities, and thus, you will never be at peace as long as you are trapped in duality. You see, once you have experienced the duality consciousness enough times, something begins to happen in your identity body. It may start in the mental body, but it eventually works its way up. You begin to sense that you have so many times been tricked into fighting for one polarity or the other polarity. You have in some lifetimes fought for what appeared to be good; in other lifetimes, you have fought for what appeared to be evil.

Thus, you begin to sense that none of these polarities are real. You begin to sense the lie, namely that the end of furthering some ultimate cause cannot justify the killing of human beings, nor can it bring the utopia that is promised. You begin to sense that, as there are opposites in the duality consciousness, there must be an opposite to the duality consciousness. The constant struggle and conflict and warfare that is the result of duality must itself have an opposite—that of a peace where there are no opposites, a state of mind with no opposites, a state of being with no opposites, even a realm where there are no opposites.

There are many, many people on earth who, through the School of Hard Knocks, have arrived at a point where in their higher bodies they have the sense that there must be some higher peace that is not in opposition to unpeace, for it has no opposite. Most of these people would not be able to explain consciously what they know in their higher bodies. Many of them have little conscious recognition of this, yet they can still receive the peace of the Buddha in their identity bodies, many also in their mental bodies, and many in their emotional bodies.

Making peace a priority in 2016

What I desire you who are the ascended master students to visualize for this coming year of 2016 is that many people will begin to feel the acknowledgement of the peace of the Buddha with their conscious minds also. The peace will begin to flow into their conscious minds. They will acknowledge that there is a “peace that passes understanding” because understanding operates with opposites, with the dualistic opposites that are needed by the analytical, intellectual mind in order to grasp or grapple with a certain issue.

I desire you to visualize and make the calls that in this year 2016, more and more people will begin to consciously acknowledge that there comes a time where one has to make peace a priority. This can be done not by resolving the conflicts – not by having one side in the conflict win over and eradicate the other – but only by turning away from the consciousness that creates conflict and looking at life through a new state of consciousness, a new perception filter.

My beloved, you will never resolve the many conflicts you see on earth. There are so many well-meaning people who see, for example, how religion has created conflict. Some of them reason that it is necessary, therefore, to eradicate religion, to awaken people from what they call the superstition of religion, and to get them to instead follow a new approach to life based on rational, logical thinking.

How shifting experiences affect your sense of identity

My Beloved, I guided this messenger recently to a new insight concerning this, and I wish to share it with you. You may look at the many people on earth who believe in different ideas, thought systems, religions, political ideologies. You may ask yourself: “Why is one person convinced that the Catholic Church is the only road to salvation, while another is absolutely convinced that there is no God and that all religion is folly?” How can two people have opposite opinions about a specific issue, and each of them is completely convinced that their view is the only right one? How is this possible?

Well, it is possible because human beings do not form their beliefs based on rational or logical thinking, nor do they form them exclusively based on emotions. We have told you that you have four lower bodies. When you form a deeply held belief, such as a religious conviction, it is not just a matter of feeling, not just a matter of intellectual reasoning or believing certain doctrines. It becomes a total experience that involves all of your four lower bodies. When you have such an experience, something shifts in your consciousness.

You know from yourself that you can have many opinions or even beliefs that are at a more superficial level. These can easily change. You are not feeling threatened if someone questions your opinion about whether you liked this particular flavor of ice cream or that particular flavour of ice cream. These more superficial feelings or thoughts come about because they only touch one of the four lower bodies. But when all of the four lower bodies are involved, something shifts in your identity body. You are now no longer saying, for example, that you believe in certain doctrines of the Catholic Church. You are now saying, “I am a Catholic,” or “I am an atheist.” This is what we might call a shifting experience because it shifts your sense of identity and your thoughts and emotions and actions must follow.

Seeing beyond the normal perceptual apparatus

This total experience is what makes one person believe in one religion or ideology and another deny it. Both are equally convinced, and the reason why they are so convinced is that the experience they have had, their conversion experience, their shifting experience, involved all four lower bodies and, therefore, they cannot see beyond it, they cannot see the weakness of their belief. They cannot see the arguments that speak against it or might even invalidate it. They cannot see it because they are not able to see beyond their four lower bodies, their perception apparatus.

You may, because you are spiritual students, realize that it is possible for a human being to see beyond its normal perception apparatus. You can have what we have called a mystical or intuitive experience where you experience that there is something beyond your normal state of consciousness, your normal perception. This is the way out of being trapped by your perception, but it is not foolproof. There are many people who have had glimpses of a state beyond their current state of consciousness. They have been open to looking at it. They have allowed the experience to penetrate their four lower bodies until they had one of these awakening, conversion or shifting experiences.

Many people, for example, have come to a point where they were suddenly awakened to the necessity to accept Christ, and they were now converted to the Christian religion. Other people have had the experience of being awakened to see the fallacy of the outer, Christian religion, and therefore, they have now been converted to an atheist view of life. In many cases, this came about because the people had what you will call an intuitive sense that this new view was right. Many people have a deep sense of reality in connection with such an experience. You feel that it is absolutely real. You can have people who feel that they have experienced the presence of Christ, and it had a total sense of reality. You can have people who felt that they experienced the fallacy of religion, and it gave them the same sense of complete reality.

Seeing beyond the logic of differences

How is this possible? You might say: “There must be something that is true, and something that is not true. God exists or God does not exist. There cannot be something in between where God both exists and does not exist.” Or rather, so does the Western, linear, analytical mind say. What you do not realize is that the Western mindset has for over 2,000 years now been affected by what you call Aristotelian logic. This is the logic that focuses on differences and says that a thing cannot be true and untrue at the same time. It must be either true or not true. There is nothing in between.

This is also what you see in the language of computer programs. Something is on or off; there is nothing in between. You may know that there has been a quest for quite a few years to develop a quantum computer, but this quest cannot be completed as long as you think that computers can only be coded with on or off signals. You must find shades in between on and off, as you do indeed find in the quantum world. You see, there is a certain type of logic, a certain type of mindset, that wants all questions to be reduced to something that can be answered with a “yes” or a “no,” but this is not the higher mind of the Christ and the Buddha.

Grappling with what a mystical experience means

You see, my beloved, we have hinted before that there really is no viewpoint, no religion, no scientific theory, on earth that is absolute, that is absolutely true. This is because words have an inherent limitation that you will never overcome from the unascended state of consciousness. You may have a mystical or an intuitive experience that gives you a deep sense of reality, but the sense of reality is beyond words. Yet after the experience fades, you now have to grapple with what the experience means.

You will notice that it is very difficult for human beings to simply have an experience without interpreting it through the four levels of the mind. People are so used to, so programmed to, always seek meaning in every experience. It must mean something, and this means that people now begin to interpret the experience through their existing beliefs, and they use the concepts and the words that are already in the four levels of their minds.

A Christian may have an experience of the presence of Christ. There is reality in the experience, but when the person then interprets what the experience means, the sense of reality is transferred to the person’s beliefs, dogmas, doctrines, and words. Now the person is absolutely convinced that Jesus himself validated his particular brand of fundamentalist Christianity or his particular brand of Buddhism. There are even people who have the sense of reality and now interpret it through a materialistic, atheistic mindset and are equally convinced that this is reality.

Teaching people who are different levels of consciousness

What we are calling you, who are ascended master students, to do is to begin to transcend this mindset and realize that it is not the goal of the ascended masters, as we have said before, to bring forth an ultimate truth and an ultimate teaching that can stand for all time. We have told you that the path is progressive and goes towards higher and higher states of consciousness. We have told you about the 144 levels of consciousness. I can assure you that when you approach the 144th level of consciousness, your way of looking at the world and your way of using words will be radically different from a person who is below the 48th level of consciousness. It will be so different that you will barely be able to communicate with a person below the 48th level, for that person simply cannot fathom how you see the world and how you use words.

What we need you to see, as spiritual students, as ascended master students, is that it is not our goal to bring forth an ultimate teaching that will stand for all time. We have told you that, as humankind progresses, the collective consciousness will be raised so that there may be a situation where what is now the lowest state of consciousness allowed on earth will no longer be allowed, and the spectrum of the 144 levels shifts upwards. This, of course, means that we can now give a higher teaching than we could give before, and it means that there may be some teachings that were given way back in the past that have now become obsolete.

What is, then, the purpose of giving an ascended master teaching? It is to give you an outer tool that your outer mind can grasp and that you can then use to raise your consciousness to the next level up. What we have said between the lines now for some time is that there is nothing, no material condition on earth, that is ultimately real. The earth is an experience machine, a device for giving you certain experiences that help you shift your consciousness upwards.

Right now, you can look at this planet, and you can look at the 144 levels of consciousness that are possible on this planet, and you can give certain teachings that appeal to a certain spectrum among those 144 levels of consciousness. This means that there is a certain teaching that is designed to appeal to people between the lowest level of consciousness and the 12th level of consciousness. This teaching is not ultimately valid, but you would not be able to explain this to people below the 12th level of consciousness.

Why is this so? Because these people need to have a certain experience for a certain amount of time and with a certain level of intensity before they have had enough of it and become open to the possibility that there is more. How do they have that experience, how do they have it with intensity? By believing that the teaching that appeals to their level of consciousness is real, is the absolute truth, is the highest possible truth.

They need to have that sense of reality, which at the lower levels of consciousness they cannot get from within because their intuition isn’t strong enough? They may have an experience where they grasp a certain belief system or are converted to that belief system, but they cannot explain why, so they need the outer teaching, the outer doctrines, and the outer validation.

The goal of spiritual teachings

As you go towards the higher levels of consciousness, it is essential for you to begin to realize the purpose of spiritual teachings. They are tools for helping you transcend a certain level of consciousness. If you become fixated on the outer words, the outer form, the outer rituals, the outer authority of a teaching, then you will stop your self-transcendence at a certain level, and you cannot go beyond it. As we have said before, we have no desire to see ascended master students take a teaching we have brought forth through progressive revelation and turn it into a closed system, a closed box for their minds. This is the last thing we desire.

That is why we need you to recognize that the goal of the spiritual path is to continue to transcend your level of consciousness as long as you are in embodiment. You do this by becoming more and more open to having these direct experiences, call them intuitive or mystical experiences, where you shift your state of consciousness upwards. You shift all of your four lower bodies to a higher level. You need to not think that this level that you have reached now is the ultimate level. If you had reached the ultimate level, you would no longer be in a physical body. You would be ascended.

A higher respect of free will

Therefore, you need to realize that as long as you are in embodiment, your present level of consciousness is a stage. There is a stage beyond it, and you will reach that state beyond, only by being open to an experience that is beyond your present level of consciousness. It is not that your mystical, intuitive experiences that you have had in the past are not valid, but it is that you cannot allow yourself to think that the sense of reality these experiences give you proves that you have reached some ultimate stage. You especially cannot allow yourself to transfer it to an outer teaching, organization or ritual that can only be expressed in words and, therefore, can never be ultimate.

Do you see, my beloved, that what we are calling you to step up to is a higher level of tolerance of the fact that all people have free will and that they have a right to have a certain experience for as long as they need it before they want more? It is not your job to force them. You cannot at your present level of consciousness take a person at the 10th level of consciousness and force your reality upon them because they will never be able to grasp it as reality. They can never look at an ascended master teaching and have an inner sense of reality. They are not able to do it.

Therefore, you can give them certain ideas that might give them an alternative to what they consciously believe, and these ideas may or may not take root in their consciousness. If you think you have to force them, you are creating an energetic tie, and you do not want to do this with people of a lower state of consciousness. Therefore, you need to free yourself from the desire to have other people validate your beliefs and your teachings or even your experience of reality.

Let go of the desire to be validated

My beloved, the higher you go on the ladder of the 144 levels of consciousness, the fewer people will be able to grasp your level. Therefore, you cannot expect that the population at large will validate your inner sense of reality or your outer teaching and understanding. The higher you go, the less you need to expect validation from other people. You need to come to a point where you completely let go of the desire to have other people validate your teaching.

My beloved, this is the only way that you can truly attain Buddhic peace. As long as you have a desire for the world to validate you, you cannot attain Buddhic peace. As we have said in the year of 2015, if you know, if you experience, the presence of an ascended master, why do you need validation from the world? It is an incredible freedom to let go of the desire to be validated.

We have in this year talked about the cosmic birth trauma. A part of this trauma was that you came with the best of intentions. You came to bring your light, your flame, and you wanted it to be accepted so that people would be helped. But there was also a slight sense of wanting people to validate you, your flame, your purpose for coming to earth.

My beloved, those of you who descended in order to help raise the earth, you knew before you came here that the reason why there was a need for you to raise the earth was that people were in a low state of consciousness. When you come with a higher state of consciousness, with a higher portion of light, a higher flame of light, how can you expect people in a lower state of consciousness to validate you? It cannot be done, my beloved, and you need to consciously acknowledge that it cannot be done.

I am not finding fault or criticizing. I am not saying you were stupid for believing this. It is almost impossible, before you descend to a planet as dense as earth, to anticipate what it will be like once you are in embodiment. The difference is so great that it is impossible to fully anticipate what it will feel like, how you will react when you are down here, and you are brutally rejected, possibly killed and tortured, in your physical body. I am not blaming you, but I am saying you are now at the point, many of you, where you need to recognize that you had an unrealistic expectation of having the world validate you. You still carry this expectation with you, and you, therefore, have a desire for validation from the world. It is time to transcend it, to look at it, to see the unreality of it, how unrealistic it is, and to just let it go—let it go.

You may know that there are parts of the world where they celebrate New Year’s by lighting a paper lantern with a candle, and the hot air makes it rise. There is not that much force in the hot air to raise this lantern, so the slightest holding on to it will prevent it from being airborne. Therefore, I ask you to look at your expectation of having validation in this world as one of these lanterns. Imagine that you light it, and now, you just let it go and see it rise into the air where I, then, will receive it and consume it with my Flame of Peace.

The world needs to understand that words cannot express ultimate truth and that, therefore, it is senseless to fight over which expression of words is the superior one and expresses absolute truth. Scientists and philosophers have debated the limits of human perception. Can you ever know reality? The reality is that you cannot know reality from the state of duality, and you cannot go beyond duality through words but only through experience. That experience cannot, then, afterwards be reduced to or interpreted into words. You may describe that there is something beyond the normal state of consciousness and that there is value in experiencing it, but you cannot describe what it is. It must be experienced. It cannot be understood, my beloved. It cannot be perceived. It can only be experienced. There is a need to ponder the difference between perception and experience.

Holding the balance throughout the coming year

Why do I give you this teaching at this time? Because it ties in with the challenge for this coming year of 2016. You know it will be the year that will be dominated by the initiations of the Fourth Ray. We have often called it the Ray of Purity, and as these energies are released to the world in this coming year, you will indeed see that the energies of purity will bring out impurities everywhere. There will be a greater contrast between purity and impurity, dishonesty, what is hidden, the hidden agendas, the hidden truths from the past, all that was denied or covered over. It will tend to come out in this coming year.

How will you, as the spiritual students, hold the balance for bringing the planet through this year? You cannot do so if you are pulled into this consciousness that will be a great challenge for the people of wanting to say which form of impurity is the ultimate one, is the right one, is the true one. You need to see that they are all impurities. You need to avoid being attached to any of them and just see that this is all the outplaying of the process whereby people sometimes must take things to an extreme in order to have enough of it and then begin to see that there is more to life than this.

You cannot allow yourself to be disturbed by people acting out, for example, violence, as you will surely see in this coming year. You need to stay centred in the peace of the Buddha. There is a larger-than-normal potential that all kinds of impurities will come up. Violence is one; warfare, at least on a limited scale; corruption, in all levels of government and in businesses; the money system, how it is being abused; and even impurities at the physical level, such as diseases and pollution. Radioactivity may come to play a certain role in this coming year as one of the ultimate forms of physical pollution and impurity.

I desire you to stay clear of being pulled into the impurities or even being pulled into the supposed opposite, for do you not see that spiritual purity will magnify, will accelerate? As we have often said, the Fourth Ray is the ray of acceleration. It accelerates both the impurities and the purities of the dualistic consciousness, so that even that which the dualistic consciousness labels as impure will seem to be accelerated. You need to not be deceived by this. You need to see beyond it to the non-dualistic form of purity that has no opposite, as the peace of the Buddha has no opposite. This will be your challenge. It will be your task, and if you pass the initiations, you can hold a great balance for the earth.

Significant achievements in 2015

I want to congratulate all ascended master students and many other spiritual and New Age people throughout the world who have held a spiritual balance for the world in 2015. Most of the things that I talked about in my New Year’s address last year did not make it into the physical because you were holding this balance. The conferences that this messenger held during the last year played a part, as did Mother Mary’s 500 vigil. We never reached 500 giving this vigil in one day, but there were enough to make a significant difference and hold a significant balance. Of course, this can be accelerated in the coming year by more and more people joining in.

A significant achievement in this past year was the release of Mother Mary’s book about war. This book has an immense role to play in the years to come, for it is, of course, the desire of the Buddha to eradicate war from planet earth so that people may grow up without having to fear war, without having to fear revolutions, upheavals, having their societies or families destroyed. This should quickly become something from the past that could not anymore manifest in the present. It is possible, but it will require many more people to take up this task.

Starting Aquarian organizations

To this end, I would like to point out to you that there are reasons why we have not started a new ascended master organization. There are reasons why this messenger has not set himself up as a guru or leader of an organization. This does not mean that there could not be one or more organizations that have the purpose of spreading, promoting ascended master teachings or even the ideas and principles that we give out in our dictations. There could easily be organizations that are not openly talking about ascended masters but are promoting the general ideas in many areas of society. This may be started as an organization for the purpose of promoting ascended master teachings and the use of decrees and invocations and the knowledge of how free will works and how we of the ascended masters need your authorization in order to use our power on earth, as Mother Mary explains in her book.

You need to understand here that this messenger will not start such an organization, it is not his role. This does not mean that there could not be those among you who have it as part of your Divine plan to start such an organization. I am not, hereby, telling you to do this with the outer mind, but I am telling you to not close off the potential with the outer mind. I am asking you to tune in individually and see whether this is something that you feel an inner calling to be a part of and then take the necessary steps over the Internet to make this a reality. You have already started to some degree, but much more could be done.

I do not wish to tell you through this messenger what to do and how to do it, for there are enough of you that are capable of tuning in, being led by the Spirit directly from within yourselves. This is the only way that a movement in Aquarius can be started and can be sustained. It cannot, in the Aquarian age, be started from above through a centralized authority. I hope you can take our teachings and see that this is no longer a viable way to start organizations.

The thoughtform for 2016

I wish to congratulate you for what you have achieved in 2015. I wish to give you the positive upward impetus to move on, to accelerate, in 2016, for you need to accelerate in order to keep up with Serapis Bey and what he intends to release on this planet. Thus, I wish to give you a thoughtform that can help you with this.

Science only has a superficial understanding of the atom. In fact, what science calls the atom is not really a physical, material thing. Nevertheless, you know that the atom is a construction that has some extension in space. There are some electrons swirling around a core. What I desire to give you is the thoughtform for 2016, and it is that, in the core of every atom, there is a Buddha figure of intense white light.

You may visualize this on a very local scale as some disease or wound in your body, where you visualize the atoms that make up the cells with this white-fire Buddha at their core. You may visualize it on a larger scale in certain conditions in society. You may visualize it for the entire planet, for you know that everything is made up of atoms. You know that atoms have an extension in space. You know that the Buddha holds space, holds the balance for space on the planet. Therefore, the Buddha is everywhere in space, and thus, also within each atom.

While I have been speaking, I have been charging the atoms that make up planet earth with this Buddhic flame that is not exactly what you would call peace, but it is an aspect of peace, for it will accelerate any condition that is not peace. You may think that peace is calmness, peace is that which is quiet, but do you not realize that all forms of un-peace can only exist in the duality consciousness that is of a lower vibration than the ascended realm? Thus, how do you ultimately create peace? Not by calming down the conflict but accelerating them so they cannot maintain the lower matrix that makes conflict seem inevitable or desirable. How do you bring purity in this coming year? By accelerating the conditions that are both labelled as pure and impure by the dualistic consciousness.

I AM the ascended master Gautama Buddha, and I AM in the heart of every atom of earth.

Ask the Ascended Masters to Stop War

Ascended Master Mother Mary through Kim Michaels, December 21, 2015

I am the Ascended Master Mother Mary, and I would like to ask you to consider the question: “Why do you, as an individual human being feel powerless to do anything about war, anything to stop war?” It can only be for one reason, namely that you are ignorant of how the world really works. You are ignorant because the very forces that are behind war are also behind keeping you ignorant of how the world works.

Why do I say this? Because, if human beings knew how the world works, they would never, ever allow themselves or their nations to be pulled into the madness of war. You would know that there are other solutions. My beloved, if you think war is the only answer, then you are asking the wrong question.

You will never, ever need to resort to war in order to solve problems—if you know how the world works. That is why I and other ascended masters have brought forth many books and many teachings, through this messenger and others, to explain to you how the world really works. If you will, as the spiritual people who are open-minded, make use of these teachings, you will quickly overcome your sense of being powerless. You will realize that even as one person, there is something you can do to stop war and you can begin right in your own living room by giving one of the invocations I have provided.

These are very powerful tools and I explain in the book why they are so powerful and why we need you to give them in order to authorize us to step in and do the work that we are here to do for planet earth. When you know how the world works, you know that free will is the one thing that rules how everything on earth works.

Free will means two things. Number one, you have a right, human beings as a whole, have a right, to turn their backs upon God and the ascended masters and say: “We want to do our own thing.” In that case we are not allowed to step in. Listen carefully: There is no choice you can ever make that could neutralize your right to make a different choice anytime.

This means that while we of the ascended masters cannot step in when you do not ask us, the moment you do ask us, we can step in. There is no possibility of ever creating a situation on earth where you are stuck, where there is no way out, where there is not a non-violent solution to a problem. You human beings can create situations that you cannot solve on your own. You could never create a situation that you cannot solve by the help of the ascended masters. But, again, free will reigns supreme.

We can solve all problems on earth, but we must be asked. That is why I ask you to use my invocations because when you give an invocation, you are doing two things. You are invoking spiritual light, but more than that, you are also saying no to war. When you consider free will, you realize: Why is there still war on earth? Because not enough people have said: No, we will no longer allow war on our planet.

That is because so many people have been deceived into thinking that either war is necessary or unavoidable because there is no other solution. You may look at the current situation of terrorism and think there is only violence that will solve this problem, but it is not true. There is a non-violent, spiritual solution to every problem. We of the ascended masters will give it to you, if you will only ask.

Opening to Divine Grace

Ascended Master Mother Mary through Kim Michaels, December 7, 2015

I am the Ascended Master Mother Mary, and I hold the office of the Divine Mother for planet earth. As part of my office it is my joy and my privilege to be one of the sources of Divine Grace. Let me give you one definition of Divine Grace. It is a flow of spiritual energy that has such a high vibration that it can change physical circumstances.

You know, of course, from science that everything is made from energy. In every situation there are certain tracks that are defined by the energies (or the karma as some call it) of the people involved. It may seem to the outer mind that a situation, or a person’s life, is locked on a track and that there is no physical circumstance, physical device or condition that can change it. This may be true from a human viewpoint, but you see, everything is still made from energy and it can be changed by a vibration that is distinctly higher than the material energy.

Many people have, over the centuries, prayed to me, especially Catholics, but also people from other religions have prayed to the Divine Mother in some form. They have often asked for intercession, they have often asked for specific conditions to be fulfilled. In some cases, they have been fulfilled and then in others they have not. This has led many people to question the entire concept of grace, or to wonder why it works for some people but not for others.

I would like to give you an image that might help you. Imagine that you have a group of people who are standing under a roof that is like a tent. Now, it has been raining heavily and the tent canvas has been weighted down by water. There is a pool of water above the heads of these people. Would you not believe, my beloved, that if one of these people punctures a hole in the canvas, then the water will immediately run through and the person will be drenched in water.

Well, the spiritual realm is like a pool of Divine energy that is only waiting for an opening to flow into the material realm and restore divine harmony and beauty. But what is that opening? It can only be the consciousness of a human being. In order to be open to Divine Grace, you must use your free will, at some level of your being, to open yourself.

This may not always be something you are consciously aware of. If you are willing to walk the path of self-mastery and self-discovery, you can become more conscious of how you can open yourself up to Divine Grace. You do this in part by consciously recognizing that material conditions are not set in stone, are not set in matter. They can be changed by spiritual energy, by Divine Grace. Conditions in your life cannot be changed, unless you are open to that change.

Now, you may see some people who have received Divine Grace and who were not consciously open, but you can actually be open without being aware of it. At the same time, you can be closed without being aware that you are closed. You can think you are a spiritual person, but you are still closing off your mind to some change that could be performed by Divine Grace. Therefore, the only viable way to really open yourself to Divine Grace is to walk the path of self-discovery so you discover where it is you are blocking the flow that is always waiting to come through the material octave, only waiting for an opening in your mind.

To My Students—Past, Present and Future

Ascended Master Guru Ma through Kim Michaels, December 6, 2015

I am the Ascended Master Guru Ma. I wish to make some comments here, based on the fact that my two beautiful daughters and my beautiful friend have decided to write forewords to this book. The significance of this is that I am now allowed to take this release to a higher level. This is also brought about by the fact that a critical mass of the students who knew me while I was in embodiment have also accepted this book, or at least used it to increase their attunement with me.

Do you understand, my beloved, that whether you believe this book is dictated by the real Ascended Master Guru Ma or whether you do not believe this, you can still use the book to increase your attunement with the real Ascended Master Guru Ma? This may seem like a contradiction or a paradox, but there is no one who will make it to the higher stages of the path of the ascension without being able to deal with paradox. There are innumerable paradoxes presented by the dark forces for the purpose of keeping your minds trapped in a closed loop from which there seems to be no escape.

The purpose of paradox

Do you not see, when you look back at my physical life and the organization that I was the leader of for so many years, that both my life and the organization presented certain paradoxes, certain contradictions? In fact, you may say that my entire life presented one big paradox. Have you never considered that this was exactly the same paradox presented by Jesus when he was in physical embodiment? You may not have considered this because you do not remember – those of you who were in embodiment with Jesus – what it was like to have a living master in embodiment.

You see, my beloved, Jesus – however perfect you may think he is, based on the idolatry of official Christianity – was still in a physical body. He had human characteristics. When he had walked a whole day on the dusty roads, his body smelled as bad as those of his disciples. He did not walk around always with clean clothes, neatly trimmed hair and a halo around his head, as you see in so many pictures of him. He could at times be moody and grumpy, burdened by the energies for which he was holding the balance for the planet.

The disciples of Jesus faced the same paradox as the disciples of any master in embodiment who has had a certain measure of spiritual mastery, a certain gift of the Holy Spirit streaming through them. The paradox is to bridge the gap between what you observe as a human being with human qualities and human limitations and then locking in to the greater light that does not come from the person, is not produced by the person but is nevertheless streaming through that person—for the person is the open door.

I was the one who barked at you

While I was still in embodiment, I once told you, my students, about how it was for me, often being the one who had to be tough on you, present you with a message that your ego did not like, give you a discipline, give you a spiritual spanking, so to speak. I said to you that many of you had an idolatrous image of El Morya as the perfect master. But I was the one who barked, I was the one who was right there, having to confront you with your momentums or whatever it might have been.

I was the one who received the negative energy from you whereas you never dared to direct it at El Morya because you did not see the real El Morya, you saw an idolatrous image of him. For me, those of you who had gotten offended – or rather whose egos had gotten offended by me – could so easily find some human limitation, some human quality that you could then use, that your egos could use, as an excuse for not heeding what I said to you.

So many times I have been the one who had to confront a student with his or her momentum. Then I saw how, suddenly, the idolatry that the student had of me was shattered. Suddenly, the light in the students’ eyes changed and they shifted in their minds from the blind idolatry of thinking I would always live up to their image of me. Suddenly, they realized that I am not always going to be whatever they expected me to be, such as gentle and kind. I will sometimes be tough, I will be direct, I will confront you with your ego momentums, I will challenge what we called the Dweller on the Threshold.

An excuse for not heeding the guru

When that happened, so many of you then made this very subtle shift. You would now start looking at me and look for some human quality, some human flaw – whether real or perceived – and you would use it as an excuse for not heeding the guru. Suddenly, the guru had fallen from being the idol on the pedestal to being the ant beneath your feet. And you did not think you had to heed the ant. Now, you had an excuse, and many of you managed to somehow create this double state in your minds. With your conscious minds you were fully convinced that you were still my loyal and obedient students, you were still following me. Yet there was a certain aspect of my instruction to you, a certain challenge of your ego momentum, that another part of your mind was convinced could not be right and therefore you did not have to heed it.

The challenge of having a living guru

How many of you are willing to look back at your personal interactions with me – those of you who had personal interactions with me – and acknowledge the very tendency I am describing? Are you willing to acknowledge how you used a human imperfection to refuse to look at yourself? How you used a human imperfection of the guru to refuse to heed the guru’s direction? This, my beloved, is the central challenge you face when you have a guru in physical embodiment, as opposed to a guru who is either ascended or who died before you came into that movement.

Look at previous ascended master organizations, look at the organization created by Yogananda. Look how, when the guru is no longer in embodiment, they have created this idolatrous image of how perfect the guru was. You see, my beloved, this is all well and good. You can make progress in an organization like this, but the real advantage of having a guru in physical embodiment is that this guru can give you the supreme test of chelaship, and it is the test I have just outlined. Will you use a human imperfection of the embodied guru to refuse to heed the guru’s exposure of your own ego?

Are you hiding from the guru?

This I say because, since this book was published, I have watched every one of my students – or those who consider themselves my former students – who have heard about this book. I have watched your reactions. Do you really think that I cannot see you? Many of you do because you think that when the guru is no longer in embodiment, it is much easier to hide from the guru.

It is in the sense that I cannot physically call you into my office or call you on the phone and tell you what your dweller is doing. Therefore, you can believe that if you cannot hear me, then your dweller is probably not doing anything it shouldn’t be doing. You come to believe that I am not seeing what you are doing. Then, when you hear about a book supposedly dictated by the Ascended Master Guru Ma, you think that I do not observe how you react to this. But I do observe. Not with judgment, not with criticism, but I observe with love. Love is not blind; ascended, divine love is not blind, my beloved.

Excuses for rejecting this book

I see exactly how many excuses have been used by those who call themselves my students to reject this book, often without even looking at it, without holding it in their hands, without reading a word in it. How amazing it is to see – again – this division in the mind. With your conscious mind you are convinced that you are my loyal and faithful student, but another part of your mind convinces you that you do not even have to investigate whether I have actually dictated a book. You think you can know and reject the book without looking at it.

How would you have come to be my follower if you had rejected me in physical embodiment, and the teachings of the ascended masters, without looking at it? So how can you claim to still be my follower without being willing to look at my book, to read it with the heart – and not with the analytical mind – and to tune in to my vibration? So that I might show you – not tell you – but give you an experience in your heart of my Presence.

I know well that many of my students – or should I say, some of my students – have an ability to tune in to my Presence and they do not need this book. I can assure you that by reading it, you would still be able to tune in to my Presence in a stronger, more profound way than you can now. There are only very, very few people who are so attuned to me that you could not benefit from the book. There is also a group of students who have sporadic contact and attunement with me but who could greatly benefit from using the book to increase your attunement.

Transcending your image of Guru Ma

The simple fact is, my beloved, that the underlying message in this book, and the main reason I dictated this book, is that so many of my students are limited by the image of me that you created while I was in embodiment, after I left embodiment or after I was no longer functioning as a messenger. This is the underlying message in the book, and the outcome or the consequence of that message is, of course, that I want you to transcend your image of me based on how I was in embodiment. Why? Because, as I say in the book, in order to qualify for my ascension, I had to transcend the images of myself that I had while I was unascended.

This is the same for everyone. Do you not understand that it is your image of yourself as an unascended person that keeps you tied to the body? You will not ascend until you let go of the image that you are an unascended person, an unascended being. That is when you can ascend. In order to let go of that last image of yourself as an unascended being, you have to let go of all of the other images of your identity that are based on conditions on earth.

Did you not get this by reading my book? It is the most profound message that I want to give you as a newly ascended master because it is something that I did not fully get while I was still conscious and functioning in my busy daily schedule. I want you to have it so that you can look beyond even the image of myself that I had while I was in embodiment and tune in to my Presence as an ascended master. I have no interest whatsoever in seeing you being loyal to a mental image of me. I have every interest in having you tune in to me in my ascended state, for that is how I can help you grow!

Many of my students cannot make their ascension

A considerable majority of those who came in contact with me while I was in embodiment cannot make their ascension as long as you hold on to the image of me that you created while I was in embodiment. You are so close to qualifying for your ascension, but you cannot take that last step until you free yourself from your image of me and the image of yourself—that you do not even realize that you have built based on my example and teachings. It is not that there is anything wrong, dark or false about this image but as I said, all of the self-images based on earth must be let go. As long as you hold on to my image, I cannot help you from the ascended state. Do you not see this?

What did I say when I was in physical embodiment? This messenger was sitting in King Arthur’s Court when he heard me say this from the stage and he almost jumped out of his chair. I said: “I am not going to leave until the last one of you has ascended.” He realized very clearly that this was making my ascension contingent upon the free-will choices of other human beings, which you cannot do. I, of course, responded to the fear that many of you had at the time where it was beginning to be rumored that I had some mysterious illness. I was trying to reassure you that it was my desire to stay with you as long as I possibly could. This was before I had come to the realization that there was no stopping my illness and that I had to go through this, for me rather humiliating and disconcerting, experience of losing my mind and memory.

Leaving my students behind

When I came to that acceptance at inner levels, I also realized that I faced a choice. In order for myself to ascend, I had to let go of the sense of loyalty to my students. Do you understand that it was a misconception on my part that I could stay in physical embodiment until all of my students had qualified for their ascension? It was a misconception because when you are the guru, you must remain ahead of the students. That means there comes a point, when you have been an embodied guru, where in order to help your students ascend, you must ascend yourself.

This is what Jesus also demonstrated at the beginning of the Piscean age, and I realized that this is what I had to demonstrate at the end of the Piscean age. Jesus was the example at the beginning and I am – potentially, for those who will accept it – the example at the end of the Piscean dispensation. This is potentially significant if enough people come to accept it. There is a significance here that I may expound upon at a later time, but for now I wish to leave it open for you to ponder what this might mean.

I realized that I could not fulfill this vow of mine. I had to surrender it and I had to ascend. Only by ascending could I fully help you who are my students. That is why I have brought forth this book in order to explain to you that I cannot help you from the ascended state if you hold on to the unascended image of me. I cannot give you the help you need in order to qualify for your ascensions unless you are willing to let go and tune in to me as an ascended master. In order to tune in to me you must be willing to surrender your unascended image of me. You must be willing to go into this no-man’s land of having no image of me until your mind becomes empty so that you can experience my living Presence as an ascended master.

Experiencing the ascended Guru Ma

I am not talking about you analyzing, understanding, conceptualizing with the mind what I am like as an ascended master. I am not talking about you trying to form an image of what I am like as an ascended maser and projecting it upon me. I am talking about you opening your mind and heart, emptying it of your previous images so that you might experience my Presence as an ascended master. It is not a conceptualization of me as an ascended master that will help you ascend; it is only the direct experience of my Presence that will help you ascend. Do you not get this?

The significance of this cannot be overstated. There are many of those who call themselves my students who will not ascend unless you experience my Presence as an ascended master. Otherwise, you cannot accept that the path I taught can lead you to your ascension. Therefore, you will stand there on the threshold, but your dweller will keep whispering in your ear why you cannot take that last step.

I know this because when I was standing at the threshold of my ascension, my dweller was whispering in my ear why I could not take the last step—and so it has been for everyone who has ever ascended. You will not fully leave the ego or the dweller behind until you take that last step into the ascended realm. What would keep you in a physical body? Nothing but that last aspect of the ego or the dweller can keep you in this dense realm once you begin to tune in to and experience the bliss of the ascended realm.

The clever arguments

Now, my beloved, I have listened to your arguments for why this book cannot be true and why it cannot be genuine. They are very clever, very ingenious, very imaginative, some even amusing. I will not comment on any of them. I will not give you any reason or argumentation for why this book is genuine.

I have heard some of you comment on this messenger and why he cannot be a genuine messenger, and again you have used many reasons, many arguments. Again, I will not comment on any of them. If you desire to hold on to your arguments for rejecting my book and the outstretched hand that it is, then I will simply stand by and say: “Until another time when you are ready. Then I am still here for you.” I will hope that you are ready to accept my hand before your time runs out in this embodiment.

Do you see, my beloved, that I have no intent other than helping you win your ascension? I do not even have the intent to use this messenger and this book to comment on the organization that I spent so much time and effort to build. Do you not see that this messenger has no intention of becoming a leader of a past organization or starting his own organization? He has no intention of personal gain or recognition.

Why has he been the open door for this book? Well, partly because those who are able have an obligation to let the ascended masters bring forth what we want to bring forth. But also, of course, because he was a part of my organization. Although he had little personal interaction with me, he did indeed tune in to my Presence. Because he benefited greatly from being affiliated with my organization, my teachings and myself, he had—not a debt but maybe a debt of honor that he wished to fulfill.

Cosmic cycles and this book

Cosmic wheels turned in such a way that the book was brought forth when it was, which was exactly according to certain cycles. Even this second edition is also brought forth according to other cycles that few people understand with their conscious minds. I understand them, Lanello understands them and we are happy to see – very happy to see – that this release from our hearts can now be accelerated to the next level.

How many of you truly understand the message in Jesus’ parable about the talents? How many of you understand that we of the ascended masters are allowed to give an initial offering, but then we can only give more when there are enough people in embodiment who take what we have given and multiply it in their own beings?

You see how long it took before there was a readiness for me to give this book. You see that for me to give more, or Lanello to give more teachings – either through this messenger or another – a critical mass of people will need to take what is given and multiply it in their hearts. That is why I started out by presenting you with the paradox that whether you believe this book is from the Ascended Master Guru Ma or whether you do not believe it, you can still use the book to increase your attunement with the real Ascended Master Guru Ma—whomever you may think this is.

Beware that if you read this book through the filter of your dweller and ego, then this book will not help you increase your attunement with me. Thus, it will in a certain sense be your judgment for refusing to follow the guru beyond the clever arguments of your ego-dweller. Do you not realize, at least in glimpses, how clever the dweller can be in presenting you with a seemingly watertight argument for rejecting the guru? So many of you, so many of those who came into contact with me, my organization or my teachings, have not fully grasped this. You have not fully grasped either that the goal of the ascended masters has never been to create an organization and to give a teaching that is an end in itself.

The key to your ascension

The goal of the path given by the ascended masters has always been one thing only and it is that you win your ascension. How do you win your ascension? Some of you have come to believe various illusions about it. One is that the masters will do it for you. Another is that you can do it entirely by your own efforts. The truth is a combination of the two.

You cannot win your ascension without tuning in to the Presence of some ascended master. It cannot be done! There is no being who has ever qualified for the ascension without tuning in to an ascended master and receiving a gift of light – acceleration – from that master. Likewise, there is no one who has ever qualified for the ascension without multiplying the talents they have been given from the master.

My goal as an ascended master is not that you are loyal to an outer organization or teaching. Neither is it my goal to get you to abandon an outer organization or teaching. My goal is to give you the opportunity to tune in to my Presence as the ascended master I am today, for this is how I can help you win your ascension.

Now, it may be that whether you knew about me while I was in physical embodiment or whether you have found this book without being affiliated with my organization that you cannot fully tune in to me as an ascended master. There is, of course, nothing wrong with this. Then, I encourage to find another ascended master with whom you can have greater attunement and then by all means go after that attunement. It is by no means my goal with this book to say that you should, if you have read it, tune in to my Presence. You should tune in to whichever master is closest to your heart and expands your heart. My goal with this book is to present those who do feel an attunement with me with the opportunity to accelerate that attunement to a higher level.

Has Guru Ma ascended?

Therefore, I say: The real question to ask yourself, is not: “Is this book from the ascended master Guru Ma or is it not?” The real question to ask yourself is: “Do I believe Guru Ma is now an ascended master?” If the answer is “No,” then obviously I cannot help you and you must seek another guru. If the answer is “Yes,” then the existence of this book and the validity of it is not the issue. The issue is: “What can help you tune in to the ascended master Guru Ma?”

If the book can help you: “Good!” If not, find other ways. Use the teachings I have brought forth while I was in embodiment. There are so many tools and teachings, and if they can help you, by all means use them.

The infinite field of daisies

I will give you one last tool, a very simple tool. Because it is simple, it is also potentially very effective—if you can approach it with the childlike mind. You may know that while I was in embodiment my favorite flower was the daisy. Some of you will even recall a picture taken of me in my younger days while I was sitting in a meditative posture in a field of daisies. Well, I wish you, if you knew of that picture, to put it out of your mind.

Instead, I wish to give you another image. It is the image of a field of daisies. Bright green grass, like the first tender grass of spring. Sprinkled on this field: daisies. Dozens, hundreds, thousands, millions. The sun is shining on the field from a low enough angle to create this golden light that is almost ethereal.

I wish you – whenever you have time, whenever you desire to tune in to my Presence – to sit in a quiet room in a meditative posture and visualize this field of daisies. Do not focus on a particular flower but allow your inner eye to be drawn towards the distance, towards the horizon. Then see how the field stretches to infinity, and in that infinity I AM. There you can tune in to my Presence if you will, for I will always be there waiting for you.

I am an ascended master and I have unlimited time. You are in embodiment; you do not have unlimited time. But you do have the ability to choose. I cannot choose for you, and therefore I can only wait for you to open yourself to my Presence.

I have now done everything I wished to do, and everything I am allowed to do, at this particular point in the eternal cycles of being. I am the Ascended Master Guru Ma. I know who I am. If you do not know who I am, it is because you do not fully know who you are. Thus, you might ponder that question!

You Cannot Force Democracy

Ascended Master Mother Mary through Kim Michaels, November 23, 2015

I am the Ascended Master Mother Mary, and I am grateful for this opportunity to comment on these last events (Terrorist attacks in Paris, France 2015). My beloved, I have given you many tools and many teachings about the causes of war in the book, Help the Ascended Masters Stop War. I obviously cannot go into to all of them here, but I am concerned that you understand the role of fear.

Fear is a major cause of war, and has been throughout history, because when people are afraid that they will be killed, then you have a suspension of the normal instinct not to kill other human beings. I explain at length in the book that you all have an instinct not to kill members of your own species, but this can be suspended when you are afraid that other people will kill you.

This is precisely what has been used countless times to create this downward spiral where fear leads to more fear. Rumors and conspiracy theories and this and that crop up, and there is no proof and there doesn’t need to be any proof. Once people have crossed a threshold of being afraid, they don’t ask for proof. They don’t use common sense, they just go into a stronger and stronger reaction of fear until they demand that something be done.

It is a great concern to me, and quite frankly a great disappointment, that the French president declared that France is now at war. I am sure in the United States you will know that France has often been not exactly the country that supported the United States. This has, in many cases, been warranted, but, now, apparently, France has shifted its attitude and finds itself needing to declare that it is at war.

This is, of course, in part because there are very few ascended master students in France and very few people giving our invocations and decrees to break these spirals of fear that have been growing for some time. It is also because France has gotten itself into a position where it is misinterpreting the liberties upon which its democracy is based.

I am not here defending that Arab women wear certain types of clothing. I am saying that when France is claiming that in order to defend religious freedom, it needs to forbid some of its citizens from deciding for themselves what they are going to wear in public, then you have taken the principles of liberty too far. In a free democratic nation women, as all people, should be free to choose on their own what they wear. This should not be a concern of the government, regardless of whether that clothing is religious or not.

You see how complex these problems can be and how easy it is to take a true principle, such as freedom and liberty, and yet turn it on its head so it is now used to create conflict. This, of course, applies to the United States, as well. As I also talk about in my book, you cannot force democracy on other nations, my beloved. If it does not come as a result of an evolution in the collective consciousness, then democracy is an impossibility—as the invasion in Iraq should have proven to American leadership and to the American people.

Yet, so far, this lesson has not been taken to heart for there is a more and more strained attempt to defend the United States’ actions instead of being willing to look in the mirror and say: “We need to learn from this so that we do not repeat the same mistakes.” Regardless of what we have said about the people in the Middle East who are behind, you cannot force other people to evolve faster than they can. That is why, as I have said before, and as I also say in the book, you need to let people decide on their own and let them take the time it takes for them to evolve into freedom and democracy.

Recognizing Ascended Masters

Ascended Master Guru Ma through Kim Michaels, November 16, 2015

I am the ascended master, Guru Ma. I am once again drawn by the love of my friend, Richard, my two daughters, those of my students who have recognized me, and those of my students who have not recognized me. And this is what I wish to address today. How do you recognize an ascended master?

What does it mean to have spiritual discernment? Do you know, my beloved, why I entitled this book, Don’t Drink Your Own Kool-Aid? Well, it was, of course, because I so often was accused of being the woman-equivalent of Jim Jones who was making all of you, all of my students, drink the Kool-Aid. It was also because you cannot recognize an ascended master if you are drinking your own Kool-Aid.

Do you realize, as I am sure you do, that we have had a number of organizations sponsored by the ascended masters? I, myself, recognized several of the previous dispensations and organizations. Do you know that so few students of one ascended master organization have moved on to the next messenger and the next organization?

Why is that? It is because, as I talk about at length in the book, you start forming an image based on the teachings of the organization you are following of what ascended masters are like. You start forming an image of what you are supposed to be like as an ascended master student. What you do not realize is that there are two aspects of an ascended master message, dictation, teaching. There is the master and, then, there is the outer form of the teaching.

Why did you recognize an ascended master teaching? Surely, very few of you were brought up in ascended master teachings. You were brought up in traditional religions. You had to go against the mainstream to recognize an ascended master teaching. You did this because you were open to considering something new. You also did it because beyond the outer words given by that ascended master teaching, you were able to tune in to, to resonate with, the vibration that was higher than anything you had experienced in these mainstream religions.

There are two aspects of discernment. One is openness, and that means that if you do not have openness you cannot exercise discernment. Of course, you cannot be open to just anything, or you would easily be fooled by false teachings. My point is that if you use one teaching to set up outer criteria for what the ascended masters should say or should not say, how they should talk through a certain messenger and how they should not talk, then you are drinking you own Kool-Aid and you are shutting off your openness. When you are not open to reading vibration, you cannot read vibration. You cannot accurately read vibration through a filter of a set of outer criteria for what we of the ascended masters should or should not say and how we should or should not express ourselves.

Why do you think we call it progressive revelation? Why do you think we sponsor new organizations and new messengers? It is because the message is progressive. When we have a given organization, such as the Summit Lighthouse, we were not meant to say exactly the same or say it the same way as previous organizations. Then, the teaching would not have been progressive.

Likewise, today, I cannot say exactly the same things as I did when I was in embodiment because it would only validate your image of me. I cannot have you move on unless you are willing to look beyond the image and stop drinking your own Kool-Aid. I may have been the trigger for you developing and creating that Kool-Aid. This is true. But, I did not create it. It was created in your mind, and that is where you need to overcome it, my beloved children and students.

Love Matters More

Ascended Master Guru Ma through Kim Michaels, November 9, 2015

So, I am, indeed, the Ascended Master Guru Ma, and I am extremely happy to be here and to be able to speak this in the presence of my two beautiful daughters, Moira and Tatiana. I did not know, when I was still in the denseness of the body, just how beautiful you are. You can only fully see this from the ascended realm. Of course, I did not see how beautiful you are because I did not see how beautiful I am. For again, none of us can see the beauty of our Divine Beings while we are still in such a dense body.

I want you to know that an ascended master does not give a dictation on command. There is nothing on earth that can force us. We do, of course, respond to human beings or we would not be ascended masters associated with earth, and love can magnetize us. There is no force in love, but there is beauty.

So, I come, not to say any specific words to you or to those of my students who have accepted my book. I come only to share the love. The love that we had for each other before we came into embodiment together. The love that was so often overshadowed by the temporary concerns we had while we were in those very often hectic and difficult situations. Often, as you and I both know, the hecticness, the stress was created by me, very often. Too often, one might say, but, as an ascended master those words fade away.

What, my beloved, is love? So many words have been associated with it, but there is really only one thing that matters. Love is beyond anything in the material world. It is that which connects us to what is beyond. Ultimately, it is what connects us to the fact that we are beyond the material world. When we are in the flow of love, in the presence of love, we gain a different perspective on everything on earth.

It is not that I expect you, all of you – my students, my children – to look at what happened while we were in physical embodiment together and suddenly say that it didn’t matter. I know very well from my own experience that while you are still in the body, the things that happen in the material world do matter. But, I hope you can all see and sense through the book and through my Presence that when you reconnect to love, and when you know that you are beyond this world, then it is not that the things that happened do not matter anymore, but it is so that love matters more.

Suddenly, you begin to look at what has happened to you as if it happened to you, but it did not change you, control you, own you. When you realize that what happened to you does not own you, you can begin to own it. You can begin to accept that what happened to you was a result – partly – of choices you made and partly by choices other people made. When you own that, you can give it away. And then, you are set free to once again flow with love and know that love matters more.

The shadow and the Devil

Ascended Master Mother Mary through Kim Michaels, November 2, 2015

I am the ascended master Mother Mary. I would like to comment on the topic of today’s show, namely the shadow or the devil. Let me begin with the saying that you cannot have light without a shadow. My beloved, is that statement universally true? Are there any shadows in the sun? Are there any shadows in the ascended realm? There is not.

Why are there shadows on earth? What is it that creates a shadow? It is something that has solidity so that the light cannot penetrate. This means that if you are looking at it from the outside, you cannot see what is behind that solid wall. This is how the minds of most people on earth are. Your shadow was born out of your desire to hide something, to hide what is going on inside your own mind.

In the beginning you wanted to hide this from your spiritual teacher, as we have described in several books given through this messenger. You have also developed a desire to hide what is going on in your mind from other people. Now, my beloved, there is nothing inherently wrong with going through this experience. It is part of free will that you experiment with having your mind be closed to having others look into it, but it should only be a phase.

For most people on earth, it has become a trap, a prison. The reason for this, my beloved, is very, very simple. You cannot hide what is going on inside your mind from other people or the teacher without hiding it from your own conscious mind. If you do not see with your conscious mind what is going on in your sub-conscious mind, you cannot free yourself from it. This should be very simple logic.

What does it take to ascend, my beloved? It does not take some magical ability. It does not take the help of a magical teacher. It takes only one thing: A willingness to look at absolutely everything in your own sub-conscious mind. Those of us who have ascended have ascended because, after suffering for lifetimes on earth, we finally came to the point where we said: “Now, I am willing to look at everything in my mind.” When we then did look at everything and dismissed all parts of our own shadow, all parts of our own ego, then we became invulnerable to the planetary (the collective) force that you often call the devil.

The devil was not created by God. The devil has no cosmic necessity. There is no need for a devil. There is a temporary need for those who want to hide, because the devil serves as a justification for continuing to hide something from God, from the spiritual teacher, from other people. In a sense, the devil is doing you a favor. He is helping you do what you say you want, namely having the perfect excuse for not looking into the abyss of your own sub-conscious mind. Of course, there is a price to be paid. The devil wants to be paid by getting your energy and your attention.

When you get to the point where you have had enough of this, that is when you become open to the reality that you actually cannot get yourself out of your own ego and shadow without having a frame of reference that is beyond the shadow, because it is completely made of light. That is where we of the ascended masters can help you because we are, of course, only light. Therefore, we can and we will give you that frame of reference. We have given it through many of our books and teachings. As you apply these books and teachings and the tools we have given, we can give it to you personally as well. I desire to see all of you get to that point where you can hear me inside your own mind because you are no longer hearing your own shadow.

Spiritual Reason for the refugee crisis

I am the Ascended Master Mother Mary. I would like to speak today on the topic of the millions of refugees that are pouring across the borders of many countries in the Middle East, in Europe, and also in the United States. My beloved, why are there so many refugees coming into these countries that have a high level of development?

Well, I would like to explain the spiritual reason for this, although there are, of course, also physical reasons that you can point to. The spiritual reason is that although you have been brought up to think that the earth is a sphere, where you, as human beings, can act on your own and act independently of God, this is, of course, only a facade. This is only for your learning, for the learning of those people who need the experience that they can act without God.

In the deeper reality, none of you can really do anything on your own. You may look at countries like the United States and Europe and you may think that you have built the current wealth because of your own creativity, your hard work. I am in no way discounting creativity and hard work, but what you need to understand (as the spiritual people) is that no matter how much hard work you put forth, no matter how creative you are, the results you have achieved in the modern world have been achieved because we of the ascended masters have multiplied your efforts.

If you had not put forth an effort, there would have been nothing to multiply, as you see in some of the less developed countries. You need to understand that it is not the effort itself that can account for the wealth you have attained. It is the multiplication by the ascended masters. Then, you need to understand that we do not multiply things automatically. It is not so that it is a mechanical universe in which you live. You cannot just put forth the work and we will automatically multiply.

We multiply as an investment. Our goal is to raise the living standard for all people on earth, not just the few hundred million that live in so-called developed countries. Why have we invested in what has now become the modern countries with a high level of affluence? It is because we look to you to become the instrument for helping us raise the living standard in all countries.

Do you understand that when you isolate and insulate yourselves with your high standards of living, then we cannot forever continue to multiply so that you get richer and richer, beyond what is needed? We cannot either allow (as you see in the United States especially) a small elite to become richer and richer while a growing percentage of the population become poorer and poorer.

What should have happened ideally was that the rich countries would have made it a priority to use some of their wealth to raise the standard of living in the poorer countries. You may point to all kinds of programs, but I tell you it has not been enough. It has not been the all-out effort that we look for. Because you have not been willing to raise the standard of living where people live, these people know from within that they should be living a more affluent life by now. They naturally seek to the countries where they can have that higher standard of living. You will not stop this stream until you make a much bigger, much more determined, effort to help the countries grow much quicker to the standard of living that you have attained.

You may say: “It took us a long time to do so.” Yes, but we do not want it to take that long for all nations. That is why we have sponsored you. Therefore, I can assure you that when you re-prioritize, then you will see that you will have much more wealth in your own countries because we will be able to increase our level of sponsorship so that you will have much more wealth to spend on helping other nations. To those who have, much more shall be given—when they use it wisely to help others.

Ego and the Divine Masculine/Feminine

I am the ascended master Mother Mary. And I would like to speak on the topic you have chosen for today’s show about the shadow side. But, I would like to relate it to the topic I have discoursed on several times of men and women.

Now, I said last time that it is essential for men and women to realize that you are truly a universal spiritual being and you are beyond the sex of the body you are wearing right now. But, you also need to step back and realize that you have come to look at the roles of men and women through the roles that have been defined by society in a patriarchal culture for thousands of years.

So, you need to recognize here that the godhead has a masculine and a feminine side. But, this is far beyond the limited roles that you have defined on earth. So, you need to recognize that whether you are a man or a woman; you have in your higher being, what many call your soul, masculine and feminine qualities that are the original qualities of God. These qualities can never be in opposition to each other, can never be mutually exclusive. They will supplement, compliment, each other. And they are both necessary in order to create a sustainable creation.

Therefore, in order to create a sustainable society; it is necessary that a critical mass of men and women in that society have found a personal balance, where they allow both the masculine and the feminine qualities of God to be expressed through them. This, of course, is what has not been allowed in a patriarchal culture. And, as I have hinted at before, this is a deliberate ploy of dark forces to prevent men and women from reaching their personal goals and to prevent society from going into a golden age.

Now, what you need to realize here is that anything that is denied becomes part of your shadow side. So, when a man denies the divine feminine qualities in his being; then, there is a perversion of those qualities and it becomes part of his ego, or shadow, or whatever you want to call it. Of course, when a women denies her divine masculine qualities; the same thing happens.

And so, what is denied becomes something that lies underneath. It lies in the subconscious mind. And it often sabotages you. And it is one reason why so many spiritual people have become aware of what you call the dark night of the soul. It is simply that you have not found that balance.

So, what I submit to you is that you all have an ego. And yes, it is important to have the concept of an ego and to deal with the ego. But, part of the ego is not necessarily something that is bad or evil and should not be there. Part of what you call the ego is the suppressed divine masculine or divine feminine qualities. And it is not a matter of getting rid of them, or somehow throwing them out or destroying them. It is actually a matter of looking at them, recognizing the reality behind the perverted role, and then, allowing yourself to express that quality so that you can be whole and have your own individual, personal, masculine/feminine creative polarity.

This is the key to your personal growth, to your personal fulfillment, and to your personal Christhood, as we have often called it. It is very important to realize this; but it is definitely a higher teaching than we have given before, where we have not really differentiated the different aspects of the ego. So, I thank you for this opportunity to introduce this concept.

The Only Conflict between Men and Women is in Our Minds

I am the ascended master Mother Mary. And I have spoken several times about the topic of men and women. Let me go one step further and talk about why men and women cannot give and receive love to each other.

You cannot, of course, give and receive love when you are in a state of war or competition. There are many who will say that there is a war between the sexes on this planet. But I say there is no war in the real world. Men and women are both created by God and as extensions of God. The biblical creation story is not correct. Men were not created first and women as an afterthought. As the Tai Chi more accurately depicts, men and women were created at the same time.

Why do men and women have bodies that need to come together in a physical union in order to produce new life? It is a symbol for the fact that only when men and women come together in harmony can the human race fulfill its highest potential on both the personal level and on the level of society. How can men and women come together, unless they can give and receive love? How can they do this, unless they understand that there is no real conflict? That the conflict is artificially created.

Many of you have seen an old movie called The Matrix, which presents the idea that human beings are living in a world of illusion and that there is a real world outside of it. What is not correct in the movie is that the artificial world is not created through technology; it is created only in the mind. There is a parallel world to the physical/material world. In fact, there are three parallel worlds. We have given extensive teachings on this. One parallel world is the emotional realm, where there are beings that seek to control human beings and create conflict between the sexes through your emotions. Another parallel world is the mental realm, where there are beings who are seeking to control you through your thoughts. And finally, there is the identity realm, where there are beings who are seeking to control you through your sense of identity.

I have said before that men and women are not really men and women. You are universal souls who are only in this lifetime expressing yourself through a physical body that has a physical sex. So, you need to ask yourself: If there is no real conflict, where does the conflict exist between men and women? I have said there are forces in the three other realms that are seeking to control you; but they do not have physical power to control you. So, how do they control you? Only in your minds.

This means that the conflict between men and women exists only in your minds. It also means that it can be resolved only in the mind. Of course, it is important to do things in society to create greater equality. But, you will not truly resolve the conflict until a critical mass of people begin to awaken to the fact that most people live in a state of illusion; because they do not understand the basic dynamic of planet earth.

Planet earth is an educational institution that is designed to give you a specific experience. You start out as a being who thinks that you live in a real world and that this world has power over you; not only physically, but also power over your mind. This is the illusion that is still blinding most people on this planet. Those of you who are spiritual people are beginning to awaken from this illusion. And you can do much to awaken yourselves faster by making use of our teachings and tools that are designed for this very purpose. We need both men and women. We need a critical mass of them to awaken themselves by taking responsibility for your own state of mind, by overcoming systematically the illusions that separate men and women from each other by separating them from their higher selves. This is the very key to bringing in a golden age on earth.

Roles of Men and Women

I am the ascended master Mother Mary. And I wish to speak on a topic that I have spoken about before, namely the interaction between men and women. Sisterhood is essential for the growth of this planet, but sisterhood cannot be just among women. It must include men, as well. This, of course, requires men to be open to a different kind of interaction with women than they have had in the past.

Now, I have given many teachings on this topic and I have said that, basically, the masculine energy is outgoing, or expansive; whereas, the feminine energy is ingoing, is balancing. However, what you see is that because of the long history on this planet of suppressing women and suppressing the feminine energy; these roles are not as clearly defined anymore. And that is why you have a situation today, where when you look at the planet, and especially the Western world, you will see that women are much more open to the new spiritual ideas that can bring the planet forward.

You see in so many spiritual movements, and in society in general, that it is women who are open to new ideas. Whereas, men, in general, are much more conservative and closed-minded towards a change. This is, of course, unnatural and very unfortunate. And it requires, first of all, that the men who are spiritually inclined and who are considering themselves to be part of the spiritual growth, the spiritual movement of this planet, change their attitude so that they realize that in this day and age they need to allow the feminine to take more power, more precedence in society. This does not simply mean that women must come to the foreground; although, it does mean that. But, it also means that men need to discover the feminine energy in themselves.

I have, of course, taught that men are not exclusively masculine and women are not exclusively feminine. In fact, the main problem on the earth is that both sexes have become imbalanced and many women have too much of the feminine energy in the sense of the contracting aspect of the feminine energy. But, when this is taken too far; then you limit yourself and your ability to take part in the growth of society. And this is what you see in many nations where women have been suppressed. The women have accepted this suppression and have, therefore, suppressed the positive qualities of the feminine energy. And have, instead, taken on this desire to control their immediate environment, especially their families. This has, in many cases, caused women to become far too focused on the little things, the daily things, and not open to the larger ideas of society; which they traditionally should have been, if the suppression of women had not taken place.

So you see, my beloved, it is not only men who are open to new ideas. There is an aspect of the feminine energy that is always open to new ideas. But, you also see, of course, that men have taken on a role where they have suppressed the positive qualities of the masculine energy; which is also an openness and a willingness to experiment. And instead, what you see in so many nations is that the men are the ones who hold onto the old traditions, the old ways; who resist the fact that the roles between the sexes is changing and that the old religions, the old world views, based on a patriarchal culture, simply must go for the new age to come in.

And so you see that instead of embracing the change; too many times, both men and women are resisting change in different ways. And that has one overall effect. Namely, that in most nations it is very, very difficult for men and women to communicate openly and trustingly and to have the acceptance of each other, based on a recognition of the fact that both sexes are essential and that both have positive qualities.

Stop Believing in Doomsday Prophecies

I am the ascended master Mother Mary. And I would like to comment on this recent lunar eclipse, or the blood moon that so many people have used to predict the end of the world or other calamities.

My beloved, it would be extremely important for all spiritual people to realize that the world will not end in the foreseeable future. In fact, the world will never end as it is portrayed by the dooms day prophets. What you see in the remnants from the Bible about Armageddon or a cataclysm is something that does not refer to your universe, but to what we have explained happened in previous spheres. And it did not happen as a cataclysmic event, but as an ascension event. This universe will also ascend, but it will happen in such a far distant future that I can assure you there is no need to worry about it in your lifetime.

If you will, I would like to make you aware that the human mind has a programming to look for patterns. This is a neutral ability because it is necessary for you to know the patterns of the material world, such as the cycles of the seasons. Yet, the mind also has an ability to project and to use the ability to see patterns to project that whenever there is a pattern, it must have some cosmic significance. This is something that has been misused throughout history by people who either want to control people or who want to simply induce fear for the purpose of getting either attention or power.

As we have explained to you, there are dark spirits who want to steal your energy and one way they do this is to stir up fear. And this happens again and again and again, when people go and believe in these prophecies. I do not wish to see the spiritual people who are open to the ascended masters give their energy to dark forces through fear. And therefore, I would like to strongly encourage you to use the tools we have given in order to free yourself from the fear you have left in your being.

My beloved, if there was about to be a cataclysmic event; I can assure you that I or other ascended masters would warn you. But, there is no such event coming. There may certainly be ups and downs, but there is nothing that even remotely resembles the end of the world, Armageddon or a major cataclysm. The earth is a school room. We of the ascended masters have created the earth. We have invested enormous amounts of energy and attention in creating this planet. And we are not about to abandon it, for there are still many, many lessons to be learned on earth.

As long as you see the many negative things going on in the world; you know that humankind has not learned its lessons. And that means the world will not end. Or rather it will not accelerate and ascend to the next level. There is no automatic ascension, my beloved. This is another illusion spread around by those who either do not know better or who know better, but use it to take advantage of you. There is no guaranteed or automatic ascension. The universe you live in is not mechanical in nature. It is directed by the ascended masters with due diligence to the choices made by humankind. But, I can assure you that we will not allow this world to end. So, I encourage you to stop believing in these prophecies.

Do Not Follow False Teachers

I am the ascended master Mother Mary. I know that the discourse I gave last week could be upsetting to some people and might seem to challenge one of the cornerstones of the Christian religion, and for that matter, many religions on earth. Is it now so that most of the religions that you know today are based on a certain scripture and that those who adhere to that religion have a tendency to believe, almost blindly, that this scripture is somehow infallible? That it could not be wrong, and therefore, should not be questioned, even in the face of the incredible expansion of human knowledge that has come about in the modern age.

When I said that it is an outright lie that women are responsible for the fall of man; it would seem that I challenge the authority of the Christian scriptures, at least, the Old Testament. Well, my beloved, I am, indeed, challenging the authority of the Old Testament. It is not the word of God in an infallible form. It is a document that has been created over a very long period of time and it is very strongly influenced by the culture and the mindset of the people for whom this document was aimed.

You need to recognize, as I said in my last discourse, that there is a force on earth that seeks to control human beings. One of the ways they seek to control is through deception. And one of the most powerful forms of deception found on this planet is to create some kind of document, statement, doctrine, or even scientific theory or political ideology. And then, they make people believe that it must never be questioned. Just look at how many examples you find in the world today. You may see religious scriptures, but look at science and political ideologies that have also made even modern people fanatically believe that they must never question certain ideas.

I am not hereby saying that the Old Testament is wrong; and therefore, science and Darwin are right. Darwin needs to be questioned as much as the Old Testament. But, let us stay with the Old Testament. The Old Testament was given to people a very long time ago. People who were in a state of consciousness and had a world view that was very, very different from what you have today. In fact, it was so different that you can barely imagine the mindset people had when Genesis was brought into the physical octave.

Now there are scholars who have seen that there are actually two creation stories in Genesis. This is true. One has a higher degree of truth and accuracy than the other, because the other was deliberately inserted by beings who attempted to manipulate people in various ways. This is the one that contains the idea that from dust you have come and to dust you shall return. But, you were not created out of the dust of the earth. You were created as a spiritual being in a higher world, a higher realm. You descended and took on a physical body. The physical body was created out of the dust of the earth. But, your spirit was not.

The forces who want you to believe that you came from dust, want you to believe this; because they want you to deny that you are a spiritual being and that you have the potential to manifest a higher state of consciousness, namely the very state of consciousness that you have seen demonstrated by Jesus, the Buddha, and other spiritual leaders and examples. This is their aim, to make you deny, not only who you are; but who you have the potential to become. Do not follow these false teachers.

Relationships Between Men and Women

I am the ascended master Mother Mary and I come to continue the theme I have talked about previously of the relationship between men and women. It is a great tragedy that the conflict has been created between men and women. When you look at all of the warring that is going on on this planet, you might be confused and think that the cause is outside the home in big political issues.

Yet, I tell you that all warring and conflict starts in the home in the relationship between the man and the woman, the father and the mother, which has such an influence on the children and the world view that they grow up with. You need to understand that if conflict and war is going to be stopped on this planet, part of the process is that men and women develop a new relationship, a new way to look at each other.

Now, how could such a new relationship come about? Well, there are many people who, over the last several decades, have experimented with new ways of relating to each other beyond the traditional family structure. But, I must tell you that there is no way to truly renew the relationship between men and women without having a spiritual understanding of who you are as a spiritual being.

You also need to have an understanding of the history of what has been going on on this planet for thousands of years. You need to be aware that there is a force, a very aggressive, a very active, but also a very deceptive force, that is seeking to create war and conflict on this planet. This force will use all means available to them, but the primary is always deception. The primary means is to create some idea and get people to believe in it to the point where they never dare to question it.

Where does the present relationship, the present conflict, between men and women start? Well, it begins in the book of Genesis in the Old Testament. And it begins in several other creation myths found around the world. What does Genesis say? It essentially says that women are to blame for the fall of the entire human race. My beloved, this claim is an outright lie. It has nothing, absolutely nothing, to do with historical reality. But, this claim that women are to blame and that women, therefore deserve to be treated differently from men is very old on this planet. It is very ingrained in the consciousness of many cultures, including your own. Even though, there are certain cultures where it is even more predominant.

If you are to have any chance of freeing yourself from this very old culture, there is only one way that you can do this. And it is to recognize the reality that you are not your physical body. You are more than the body. Which means that regardless of the sex of your physical body, you are not a man or a woman. You are not and exclusively masculine or an exclusively feminine being. You were created as a spiritual being that has both masculine and feminine qualities. Which means that you can, over several lifetimes embody in both male and female bodies. It is absolutely necessary to recognize this.

And you can only come to fully accept this by following a very gradual path, which we have called the spiritual path, or the path to personal Christhood be that allows you to reconnect to your true identity. So that you not only understand intellectually, but actually experience that you are a spiritual being that cannot be limited to any of the conditions or labels found on planet Earth.

Love and Life Cannot be Forced

I am the ascended master Mother Mary. I have said in a previous release that the biggest problem on earth is that men and women cannot receive love from a source inside themselves and therefore believe they have to receive it from each other. And when they do not receive it they go into various control games in order to supposedly force others to give them love. But you see, my Beloved, love cannot be forced. There is no mechanical scheme on earth that can force another person or God to give you love. Why is this so? Because love is the force that is beyond anything on earth, that is why all people want it.

Do you not see that most people on earth are completely overwhelmed by life? Many feel that life is something that has been forced upon them, that they did not choose. That they are forced to react to circumstances over which they have no control. But, you see, nothing has been forced upon you, in the sense that at some point in the past you chose to be on this planet. You made choices, many choices, that have put you in your current situation. I am not saying this to blame you, but to empower you. Because only when you begin to acknowledge that your situation has something to do with choices you made, will you be able to start making a new kind of choice that will change your situation.

Do you not see my Beloved most people are in a catch 22, because they believe their situation is not the result of their own choices? And therefore they feel powerless to do something about it. But the only way that you can do something about your situation is if you can make choices that change your situation. And that is why the shift you need to make is to acknowledge that your situation does have something to do with choices you have made. And that any choice you have made in the past can be changed by making a better choice in the present.

This has something to do with love. Because, as I said, there is no force on earth that can control love. And the reason for this is that love is always flowing, love never stands still. That is why you cannot own love and that is why you cannot own other people and you cannot force other people to give you love. Love cannot be forced but it can be received freely, when you begin to realize that it comes from a source that is beyond earth and you cannot control this source. But this source gives love to you unconditionally. And you can control your own psychology and the mechanism that has, so far, caused you to reject love. And when you begin to unravel that mechanism and, bit by bit, remove the illusions that caused you to reject love; then you will begin to feel that life is not so overwhelming, that life is not forced upon you.

And when you then begin to use the many tools I have given, in the form of invocations and decrees, whereby you invoke spiritual light; then you will lighten the load of energy you are carrying with you. And this will begin to make you feel that you are a being who is not identified with the body and with your outer situation. And that is when you will begin to not only believe what I am saying, but experience that you do have choices. And that there are choices you can make that will fundamentally change your outer situation.

Will You Co-create the Golden Age?

I am the ascended master Saint Germain and I would like you to consider the quote: “Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.” Surely, I will agree with you that God’s will is being done in heaven; but is it being done on earth, my beloved?

Do you think war is God’s will? Do you think poverty is God’s will? Do you think the manipulation of the stock market, such as you have seen today, and in the last days, is God’s will? Do you really think that all of the things that are happening on earth are God’s will? Then, if they are not God’s will, how can they be happening? Because what is manifest on earth is not a matter of God’s will; it is a matter of the free will of all of the 7-plus billions that are embodying on earth.

You have collectively co-created the current conditions and only you can uncreate them. As long as you believe that there is some external force that must or will correct current conditions; then they will not be corrected. You will be condemned to repeating history in worse and worse and more and more intense conditions until you finally wake up and take responsibility for your own state of consciousness and for the fact that it is your state of consciousness that precipitates physical, material conditions.

I am the ascended master who is the hierarch for the next 2000 year cycle of Aquarius. It is my plan to create a golden age on earth and that golden age will not have room for war, for poverty, for manipulation, for the mistreatment of peoples such as you see in so many places on earth. But, I cannot bring this about alone. I can only co-create with those of you in embodiment who are willing to co-create with me.

And in order for you to be willing to co-create with me, you need to realize that there are traditions on earth. Some would call them religions. I will not mention them, because you all know them. But, there are traditions on earth that have only one purpose. And it is to pacify you, so that you do not exercise your co-creative abilities. You do not recognize that you are a spiritual being who has the potential to co-create with the spiritual beings of the ascended masters.

This needs to change, if we are to manifest a golden age. I am 100% determined to manifest that golden age. I am asking you, are you equally determined? If not, are you willing to step up and manifest that determination? We have given so many tools, available for free on our websites whereby you can overcome the downward pull of the mass consciousness that is pulling you into taking a passive approach and simply watching what is happening without thinking you can do anything about it. We have given so many tools that you can use.

And I tell you it will be a difficult work for most people to pull themselves beyond the downward drag, the gravitational pull of the mass consciousness. But, it can be done, as many people have already proven. And as I, certainly, have proven myself by being in embodiment on earth and still winning my ascension. As Jesus, as Mother Mary, as thousands of other people and beings have manifested that ascension, even though they were in embodiment in the dense conditions on earth. And I tell you there have been periods in the past where the conditions have been even more intense. Because thanks to the work of so many spiritual people around the world, we have actually made progress on this planet.

We are much closer to manifesting a golden age than most of you think. This golden age will not manifest in one step. It will, as we have explained, manifest in several steps; because it needs to be brought down through the four levels of the material universe. But, in some aspects the golden age is right there, ready to burst forth into the physical spectrum, where you will see physical manifestations of it. You are already starting to see this in humble ways, but it can very quickly become as a tidal wave that cannot be stopped by the mass consciousness or the forces who are seeking to stop the progress because they do not want to lose control.

And so, therefore, my beloved, will you consider that I have a vision and that I am willing to give that vision to you, whereby we can overcome the conditions you see and that you are all concerned about, that you all know are not right and should not be happening? Will you co-create the golden age with me?

The ascended masters are not too good to be true

I am the ascended master Mother Mary. And I wish to continue the talk I gave last week on love. Do you know, my beloved, that for us who are the ascended masters, one of the big problems we have is that people find it very difficult to accept that we do not have any hidden agenda, that there is no catch, that we give our teachings and our love freely? You have heard the saying if it sounds too good to be true, it always is. But, is it, my beloved?

Is the sun too good to be true? Is not the sun only giving of its light? Does it ask anything in return? Is it then so difficult to accept that there could be spiritual beings who also only give and ask nothing in return? Why do we give? Because we are self-sufficient spiritual beings. We have access to the light of God within ourselves and we need nothing from you who are in embodiment on earth. We only desire to give to you?

What does this have to do with love? Well, if you were to look at planet earth and ask yourself: “What is the biggest problem on this planet?” I am sure that you could come up with many outer conditions. It may be war. It may be the economy. It may be inequality. It may be many other things that you would think of. But, from my perspective the biggest problem on earth is this: People do not know how to receive love. If more people knew how to truly receive love, then many of the other problems you see on earth would start melting away under the burning sun of love.

Why can you not receive love? It is in most cases because certain dark forces have come up with a very subtle plan for making it impossible for most people to receive love. And part of their plan is simply this: They make you believe that you have to receive love from a source outside yourself. And in most cases that source is another human being of the opposite sex.

Look at love relationships on earth and look at how many problems begin right in the home. I can assure you that were it not for the fact that there is a basic conflict between men and women, then war could not exist on a planetary scale. Why is there this basic conflict between men and women? Because neither men, nor women, know how to receive love. They think they have to get it from each other. And then, when they don’t get it; they go into a control game of seeking to control the person they live with and whom they supposedly love.

But, you see love, true love, does not want to control. That is why I would point out to you that ultimately you can receive love only from a source inside yourself, namely your higher self, your spiritual self. But, because of current conditions on earth, this teaching is too advanced for most people. Most people need an intermediary step before they can receive love from their higher selves and this is where I can offer my assistance through my office of the Divine Mother.

Because the love of the Divine Mother is the nurturing love that all people are capable of receiving, if they will acknowledge that this love comes from the Divine Mother and that it is not a love they need to earn. There is nothing you need to do to earn my love. As I said last week, I already love you very personally for who you are. And if you will apply to my heart and use my teachings, I will teach you how to receive love directly from me so you do not need to get it from anyone else.

Ascended Master Mother Mary, through Kim Michaels, August 10, 2015.

I am the ascended master Mother Mary. I hold the office of the Divine Mother for Earth. I have many responsibilities as part of this spiritual office. But, the primary concern I have is that each and every human being, each and every child that ever grows up on this planet should know the love of the Divine Mother.

It is a very unfortunate state of affairs that so many children in the world grow up without knowing this love, because it puts you at a disadvantage from the very beginning. It sets your life on a track. And for many people, it becomes a downward spiral from which they cannot recover in this lifetime. Many people have created such a spiral and sustained it over several lifetimes and it makes it more and more difficult to pull themselves out of it. And this is a great burden and concern to my heart.

I wish that I could give you the kind of childhood you deserve to have, but I cannot change what you have experienced on earth. What I can do is offer you my personal assistance to help you overcome the childhood you have had. If you will use some of the tools and teachings that I have given through this messenger or other messengers that appeal to your heart, then I can assure you that I am fully capable of working with each and every person on this planet.

I will be able to assist you, if you are willing to tune into my heart. There is, my beloved, nothing you cannot leave behind. There is nothing on earth that has stained you permanently. There is nothing that could ever have happened to you on this planet that has changed who you are as a unique divine being, who deserves the love of the Divine Mother.

I know very well that so many people have been burdened by such a difficult childhood that they have come to accept many of the subconscious beliefs that are deliberately engineered by certain dark forces to sabotage your path. So many people feel they are unworthy, because of what has happened to them. So many people have gone into blaming God, or even the Divine Mother, for why certain things have happened to them on earth.

But, you do understand, I hope, that everything on earth is a result of the free will decisions of the people who are in embodiment. We can give divine intercession when people ask and when they are willing to change themselves, to look into their own psychology and see what is hiding there in the subconscious. If people do not ask, we cannot interfere; for contrary to the dark forces, we of the ascended masters do have ultimate respect for free will.

You need to understand that this earth is a very treacherous environment. You need to understand that you have been brought up with a woefully inadequate view of what is really happening on this planet. We have attempted to correct this through many of the teachings we have given. I would recommend my own series of books, called A Course in Abundance, for they will give you a much deeper understanding of who you are and how this planet works. This will be an essential part of your healing, for surely, in a five minute message; I cannot give you everything you need in order to overcome lifetimes of abuse.

But, what I can do is give you the impetus that you are my unique child and that I love you with a love that is unique to you personally. Do not bother your linear mind with how this is possible. For as I said last week, my consciousness is fundamentally different from the consciousness of those of you who are in embodiment. I do have the capacity to love each and every one of you personally and this is my great joy and my great privilege. So, my beloved, if you will apply to my heart; I WILL assist you.

Ascended Master Mother Mary, through Kim Michaels, August 3, 2015.

I am an ascended master. I hold a spiritual office for planet Earth, namely the office of the Divine Mother.This means that I hold the mother flame for each and every human being embodied on this planet. I love you as only the Divine Mother can love, a love that is beyond what you normally see as human love. I tell you about my spiritual office before I give you my name, for I want you to know that my office is universal; although my name is often associated with the Christian religion.

The name I use as an ascended master is that of Mother Mary. I do this for several reasons. One is that I want you to know that I have been in embodiment on earth, so I know what it is like to be in a physical body on a planet as dense and as difficult as earth. I also want to honor the fact that in my last embodiment, it was my privilege to be the physical mother of the magnificent being you know as Jesus.

But I want you to know today that I am an ascended master because I have transcended all human value judgments, all divisions, all characteristics that people use to divide each other, to judge each other, to put other people down. My beloved, the one thing I would like to impress upon you is that there is a fundamental difference between the consciousness of an ascended master and the consciousness of most human beings in embodiment.

This planet is a very difficult environment, especially for those people who are beginning to awaken to the fact that they are more than material, physical beings. Those who will be open to my words know that you are spiritual beings in a human body. But do you also realize that you are a spiritual being in a human mind? What you normally see as your mind and what many people on earth see as themselves is just an outer clothing you have taken on, as you have taken on the physical body.

What does it mean to be truly free? It means to be free of this outer mind and its value judgments, its tendency to discriminate based on outer characteristics, its tendency to apply a value judgment and say that those people who fit in this group are superior to those people of that other group, perhaps even superior to all other human beings. In order to ascend and become an ascended master, you need to transcend this outer consciousness, the dualistic, relative, judgmental consciousness.

One of the greatest disservices ever done to human kind is the creation of the idea that it is God who is the angry judge in the sky and who has created the value judgments that human beings so eagerly apply to each other. One of the greatest services you could give to yourself and to other people is to make an effort to transcend this judgmental consciousness and realize that you are a universal spiritual being who is beyond any of the value judgments found on earth. You are also a universal spiritual being who has the ability to connect to the universality in all other human beings.

I know well that there are many people who will reject this idea, because they are not done with the judgmental consciousness. They actually want to continue to judge others. But I also know that those who are the forerunners for a new age have the potential to awaken from the judgmental consciousness to accept who you are, as universal spiritual beings; to begin to see it in each other; and then to begin to see it in all. And this will shift the conscious awareness of many people.

It is to this end that we of the ascended masters have dedicated ourselves. And it is to this end that we give our teachings.

I am the ascended master using the name Saint Germain. I am the original sponsor of this nation of America and I am very joyful in being able to speak this way. You may have many questions about what an ascended master is and whether we are real. But, I ask you to consider one question. Do you want to be free?

I am indeed free from the human condition, from the illusion of the separate self. I know I am one with all life. I am one with the formless God. And I am one with the God in form, which is you.

The separate self is almost like when you get into your car. But, the difference is that you do not believe that you become your car by getting into it. But, when you get into the separate self, you believe that you have become a separate being in a world of other separate beings. And therefore, you can no longer connect to the oneness behind the illusion of form and separation.

What you see going on on earth is nothing more than the games played by beings who are trapped in the illusion of separation and who are yearning to be free from it; and therefore, creating all of these manifestations that are so extreme, so painful, and create so much suffering that they finally come to the point of questioning whether this can be all there is to life.

Now, this way of learning to be free is what we call the school of hard knocks. There is nothing wrong with people having the experience of being separate beings. This is part of what planet earth is designed to facilitate. But we of the ascended masters, we who have been in embodiment on earth like you are and who have ascended, offer you an alternative to the school of hard knocks. And it is the systematic spiritual path of raising your consciousness.

Now, how can you do this? You need to realize that once you have stepped into the separate self, everything you experience through that separate self will reinforce the illusion of separation. That is why you need something from outside that filter of the separate self in order to realize, first of all, there is a reality outside of separation. And second of all, there is a way for you to overcome the illusion of separation and become free.

That is why we have stepped forward to offer our services on this planet. So that, through our direction, through our teachings, but first of all by receiving our spiritual light; you can walk that path very gradually, as you are able to handle it without losing your sense of self, to a greater freedom from the human condition.

We are not expecting anyone to make this transition overnight, because we know how difficult it is to walk the spiritual path on planet earth. And that is why we offer a very gradual path, where you can gradually raise your sense of self without losing the sense of continuity that allows you to deal with everyday life.

This is our offering to you. We have offered it in different ways for people at different levels of consciousness. It is a matter of you finding a way that appeals to you. I ask you to consider that you have the ability in your heart to know what is real and unreal by sensing what it does to your energies, to your vibration. You can know in your heart whether this message has raised your vibration or lowered it. And if it has raised it, you will know I am real.

I AM the Ascended Master Gautama Buddha, and although you may know me more as the serious Buddha, I come today as the joyful Buddha to share in your joy that you have dared to release.

Truly, it is not only the dictations that are given during a conference, or the invocations or decrees that you give, that release and anchor light. When you freely share of your hearts and your joy-flame, we can use your chakras and auras to release much light and anchor it into the physical octave. Thus, do not fall into the trap of thinking that a free-flowing sharing like you have had, of people talking to each other, is of no value. Do not think that it always has to feel like work in order to have an effect, for truly did not Christ say that unless you become as the little child, you cannot enter the kingdom?

Even the Buddhas are not always serious. We are joyful, maybe not in a way you consider it on earth, but certainly joyful when we observe that those who are the spiritual students can transcend themselves and the seriousness of the world. Do you not realize, my beloved, that in these short days you have been together in this room, you have created a sacred space that is so set apart from the hustle and bustle of the city around you that you are almost not on the same planet. Yet when you walk out that door, you will again be out in the hustle and bustle. You will be in a different space inside, if you will make, not an effort but be aware of the need to maintain it, be aware of the many challenges that come at you from all sides that want to pull you out of your sacred space.

Your inner sanctuary

Truly, we have talked before about your inner sanctuary. In your heart you have what ideally should be a sacred space where no force in this world, no person in this world, no demon, no authority figure, can ever enter. For that matter, no loved one can enter, not even a child, for it is your sacred space. What is it that the forces of anti-love seek to do? They seek to invade your sacred space or to pull you out of it so that you are no longer centered, so that you no longer realize you have a sacred space, so that you forget that you are a sacred being.

There are people in America who will say: “What right does the Buddha have to give a dictation on this soil when we are a Christian nation?” What makes you think that the Buddha is not a Christian? What makes you think that Christ did not study and practice Buddhism? The Buddhic consciousness is the Christ consciousness, at a higher level than the Christ consciousness that goes out into the hustle and bustle of the world. It is not higher in the sense of more valuable, but it is a higher level of detachment from the world.

The Christ is the one who hears the cries of the world and goes out to minister to the people, giving them whatever they need in order to come up higher. The Buddha stays apart, creates a sacred space, a sanctuary, and therefore lets the people come to him or her. Both are equally needed, both are equally valuable, although certainly many more people in the world need the Christ to minister to them, for they are not yet ready for the Buddha.

Is America a Christian nation?

Certainly, I come to challenge the mindset that America is a Christian nation. As Jesus himself has challenged the false preachers of the Christian churches in America, I come to give my polarity to Jesus’ release, not only for the judgment of the false teachers of Christianity but for the judgment of the false teachers of Buddhism that have come to this nation.

The Christ consciousness is a universal state of consciousness, but it is more focused on discerning between light and darkness, reality and unreality. Although the Christ consciousness at the Christic level is not dualistic, it is still focused on the difference between light and darkness, reality and unreality. The Buddhic consciousness has transcended that level and manifested a higher detachment and therefore more of a vision of universality. The Buddhic level of consciousness – the Buddhic level of the Christ consciousness, we might say – is therefore more focused on the universal or formless behind outer forms. The Christ will say: “Get thee behind me, Satan.” The Buddha will not say this, for to the Buddha there is no Satan and there is no behind.

When you look at this nation of the United States of America, what do you see? You see that people from all over the world – from all different cultures, races, nationalities, religions, skin colors – have been brought here and put into this “melting pot.” There are many tensions between different groups of people in America, not only between blacks and whites but many other groups. This growing tension is a sign that America has not stepped up, that not enough people have stepped up to the Buddhic consciousness. How shall America fulfill its destiny without a critical mass of people holding the spiritual balance by embracing and manifesting the Buddhic consciousness? You see, the Christ consciousness is surely needed in America, but the Christ consciousness is not enough for America to fulfill her destiny.

The Christ consciousness shines a light into the darkness, which reinforces and brings out the contrast. The Buddhic consciousness allows you to see beyond the contrast and see that the contrast is not real for there is a Buddhic essence behind both light and darkness. People cannot overcome their differences through the Christic level of consciousness, but only through the Buddhic level of consciousness. Surely, we do not expect all people in America to attain the Buddhic level of consciousness, for they have barely begun to grasp the Christ consciousness. We do expect a critical mass of people to embrace the Buddhic consciousness and hold the balance for America.

The only way that the cosmic experiment of America can work, the only way that the melting pot can avoid blowing itself up, is that people learn to see beyond the outer differences and embrace the universal aspect within. This is, of course, what the forces of anti-love will do anything in their power to avoid by defining these conflicts and blowing them up out of proportion, stirring up the energies in people’s emotional bodies, feeding them illusion after illusion until they are so focused on the outer differences that they have no awareness of the Buddhic nature hiding behind all form.

Problems with Buddhism in America

Who then shall hold this Buddhic balance for America? Certainly we hope that you who are ascended master students will do so. We also hope that those who have embraced Buddhism in some form in America will be able to do so. Unfortunately, many of them are not manifesting that potential because the Buddhic movements, the Buddhic teachers that have come to America, have been far too focused on the outer form of Buddhism, rather than the universal elements of it.

What sense does it make to build a Buddhist monastery in the mountains of America that looks exactly like a Buddhist monastery in the mountains of India or Tibet? What sense does it make to wear the same robes, to have the same rituals? What sense does it make? What sense does it make for the people in the East to still be, quote-unquote, “worshipping” the Buddha the way they have done for centuries when the modern world has shifted? That in itself makes no sense, and it makes even less sense to take that form of Buddhism and try to transplant it to America, where the consciousness is so different.

I AM the Ascended Master Mother Mary. I hold the office of the Divine Mother for all lifestreams on earth, and I come to bring forth a release that was not scheduled for this conference but that you have earned through your willingness to hold the balance for the other dictations, and especially this latest dictation by Jesus, which was a momentous release but required a critical mass of people to be here in order to be most effective.

Lemurian records in California

If you examine yourself you will see that, during the break after Jesus’ dictation, the energy level was much higher than before. There was a shift. There was a flow of joy and the joy was your souls rejoicing by knowing at inner levels that you had witnessed an important shift for this planet. It was also that you felt the rejoicing of us in the spiritual realm for the bringing forth of this judgment and this release that marks a new beginning.

What I wish to bring forth in this release is another level of judgment, which you might look at as something ominous, but it is not. On the contrary, it is the beginning of joy. Only when that which is holding back the flow of the light of the Divine Mother is judged, can there be the release of that light, that flow of the River of Life. I wish to bring to your attention that there was in ancient times a continent in the Pacific. Many of you know of this as the continent of Mu or Lemuria.

Many of you will know that it has been said in ascended master teachings that parts of the California coast are remnants of that continent. It is not necessarily true in a linear sense that the same land was there, but it is true in the sense that there are certain energetic records that are still here today, and there are people who have reincarnated from that continent in this area. They have reincarnated for two reasons. One is that some of them have not transcended the consciousness of Lemuria and they are here to anchor the consciousness of the judgment and the destruction and the killing of the Divine Mother in embodiment.

Then there are those who either have transcended that consciousness, or who were never part of it, and who have reincarnated in this area of the West Coast in order to hold the balance for the judgment of those who will not let go. There are many beautiful souls of light who have incarnated in California and certain other places along the West Coast precisely to hold the balance for the bringing forth of a new awareness of the Divine Feminine, the Divine Mother.

Men and women working in complete equality

Many of you here are aware of the need to bring forth a new way to look at not only women, but the feminine awareness, the feminine aspect of God. Some of you here are part of the people who have vowed to take on this task of bringing forth not only a physical or political liberation or equality for women, but more of a spiritual liberation of women. This is where you are willing to acknowledge your femininity, to set it free and to express yourselves with the freedom and the joy of acknowledging your womanhood.

This is especially important in the United States, for I must tell you that compared to at least the northern part of Europe, when it comes to the acceptance and acknowledgement of women, then the United States is behind—in certain areas of this nation, quite far behind. This is a problem for Saint Germain because the Golden Age of Saint Germain will not be brought into manifestation exclusively by men. It will be brought into manifestation only by men and women working together as complete equals where they, as I have discoursed on before, embody the qualities of the Divine Masculine and the Divine Feminine in a way that the two creative forces complement each other rather than competing with or seeking to destroy each other.

The fallen beings putting down women

There are books and stories about the continent of Lemuria. I do not necessarily encourage you to read them because they are of varying quality and accurateness. What is significant, and what should be known by all ascended master students, is that there was a time in the distant past where there was a civilization that was devoted to the Divine Mother. The entire society was led by women, and although this was not necessarily ideal or balanced, it was still a high civilization. Then there was a deliberate plot, which began with the fallen beings in the identity realm and was executed by the fallen beings in embodiment, to kill the high priestess that was at the time the leader of the temple of the Divine Mother.

Now, the killing of one human being is not necessarily of planetary significance. But what was of planetary significance was that this one act initiated a cycle that is marked by a deliberate and very intense effort to put down women and the Divine Feminine worldwide. You see this in so many countries, of how women have been put down over and over again. You see it in the United States—not only in setting men and women against each other in relationships and setting them up to fail, but you also see the putting down of women in all levels of society. Look at the business world and the talk about a glass ceiling that you cannot go beyond if you are a woman. Look at how those who have managed to attain some position in the business world have done so, in most cases, by denying their femininity. Look at those who have come up in the political world and who have also, in many cases, done the same. This, of course, is not equality. It is not equality that you allow women to attain certain positions in society by denying their femininity. How could this be equality?

One of the most intense areas where America is putting down women is in the field of religion, particularly the Christian religion. You still have in the Catholic church the refusal to let any woman hold any significant position. You have the same in most fundamentalist churches. You even have the same in the Mormon church, which claims to be a modern church, but not when it comes to the treatment of women.

Judging the murder of the Divine Mother

My beloved, all of this putting down of women worldwide goes back to the murder of the Divine Mother on Lemuria. It is, of course, a worldwide movement that has gained its own momentum. At least for the United States, the major focal point for the putting down of women and the murder of the Divine Feminine is right here in Los Angeles. I will not give you a specific physical location, for it is not important.

What is important is that, through a long process involving ascended master students and the calls they have been making, involving many other spiritual people and the efforts they have made to raise up the Divine Feminine, we have come to a point where I, Mary, the Divine Mother for Earth, can pronounce in the physical the full and final judgment of the remnants of this consciousness of the murder of the Divine Mother.

This focal point is ultimately a certain thought-matrix. It is a very complex matrix created by, I might say, guardedly, very “advanced” fallen beings in the identity realm. It has been reinforced over time by fallen beings in all four octaves and by many people who have been pulled into this illusion. It is supported by many demons that are very powerful in terms of the intensity of their hatred against anything feminine. Some of you have encountered people in physical embodiment who embody this consciousness and you should, of course, make the calls for the judgment of such people and the consciousness behind them.

Beyond specific people, I now pronounce the judgment of the matrix itself and the demons and the fallen beings in the three higher octaves that are reinforcing the matrix. Therefore, by the full power of the Divine Mother, which no force in the material universe can withstand, I Mary, shatter! shatter! shatter! shatter the matrix of the murder of the Divine Feminine. It is no more on earth.

The need to make calls

This, then, marks the beginning of a shift because those who − around the world and especially in the United States − have been putting down women have been tapped into the matrix and have received power from it. Based on this dictation, you can make the calls that it will not be recreated. Truly, it can never be recreated in its original form, for the fallen beings who originally created it have been judged and taken from the Earth. People can still recreate some form of a matrix of putting down women and turn it into a spirit, and this you can prevent by making the calls.

This is very important as an Omega action. Because of free will, I can only pronounce this judgment and shatter the matrix because a critical mass of people in physical embodiment have made the free-will decision to transcend that consciousness of putting down the Divine Feminine. I can only maintain the freedom from this matrix, I can only prevent the creation of a new matrix if there is a critical mass of people who chose to reinforce the judgment so that their free-will choices can form a counter-balance to the free-will choices − or perhaps the not-so-free-will choices − of those who still want to put down women.

You see the equation. It takes, however, far fewer people who choose to reinforce the positive in order to counterbalance a larger number of people who are reinforcing the negative. I trust that those of you who feel close to this cause in your hearts will be willing to make the calls and do many other things to bring about a new awareness in America and elsewhere of the need to stop putting down women.

I will bring forth more teachings and more tools on this topic, and so you may consider that this brings a new era where we will more directly address the need for the raising up not only of women but of the feminine in all people. As I said in Holland, there is a great need for a new awareness of the value of the wisdom of the Mother who knows how the physical octave works, and not how those in the perverted father consciousness think it should work according to their theories, their idols, their images.

With my great gratitude for your presence and for the work of many other people in this dispensation or in other movements, I seal you in my infinite timeless gratitude. I look forward to how I can give you more teachings and more tools to reinforce this momentous shift in planet earth’s history. I am the Divine Mother for earth.

Ascended Master Jesus Christ, July 19, 2015 through Kim Michaels. This dictation was given during a conference in Los Angeles.

I AM the Ascended Master Jesus Christ. I am the hierarch of the Piscean Age. I am the brother in Spirit of Saint Germain, the hierarch of the Aquarian Age.

How do you think it feels for me to have started the Piscean dispensation on earth – walking in a physical body, taking on everything I took on in order to give that initial impetus for the founding of the Christian movement – and then, here I am today, and there are over a billion people who claim to be my followers, yet so few of them are open to my Living Word, to the living Presence, to the living Spirit that I AM? They worship a dead spirit, a dead idol. They worship a spirit that is not a Spirit of God but a man-made spirit that has been created by the Christian movement, especially since the formation of the Roman Catholic Church.

Binding of the false Christ

I have, through this messenger, withdrawn my light from that church. I shall today withdraw my light from all Christian churches in America that are trapped in worshipping the false Jesus that has been created by man. I AM the Living Jesus Christ. I AM the real Jesus. The spirit that has been created by the Christian churches for these many centuries is hereby judged. It is judged by the Living Word and the living Presence of the real Christ, the real Jesus. I therefore, by speaking these words in the physical, command Archangel Michael to send his angels to bind that spirit of the false Jesus. I command you to take it from the earth. I command you to bind and consume all of the demons, all of the fallen beings who have been instrumental in creating, sustaining and reinforcing it. Thus, there is an opportunity for Christianity worldwide and Christianity in America to start on a clean white page.

The creation of false gods

I know well that most Christians are not likely to make use of this opportunity, for they are so attached to this false image of Christ that they will not let go of it, and they will begin to create a new spirit for them to worship. Do you not understand that when it was said to “have no other gods before me,” before the one God, it is precisely because people have for a very long time created false gods that they have worshipped before the one formless God? How did it come to be on planet earth that people would create these false gods?

It was introduced here by the fallen beings. They were the ones who wanted to be those false gods, worshipped by as many people as possible. This is not to say that people had not created some gods before, for there is a tendency for people to see divinity in everything, and this tendency can quickly become the worshipping of a particular god, such as a god of nature or certain aspects of nature. This then can cause people to stop worshipping the formless God, to stop always striving to transcend themselves until they touch the hem of the formless God through the Christ consciousness.

False gods can be touched without the Christ consciousness, but the formless God can be touched only through the Christ consciousness. Those who are not willing to transcend themselves, to transcend their egos in order to take on part of the Christ consciousness (to let that living Christ consciousness dwell within them), they will be left to worship these false gods. When enough people have worshipped the false gods for some time, you create a spirit that has enough awareness, consciousness, and momentum that people will feel like they have had a supernatural or even spiritual experience.

America worshiping a false Christ

When you look at America today (and for that matter beyond the borders of America, but I will focus on America for this particular purpose), you see that there are many Christians who go to church, or they do other religious activities, and they feel they have had a genuine spiritual experience of going beyond their normal level of consciousness. There are indeed a few people who have genuine spiritual experiences by going to a Christian church, for they are able to transcend the outer circumstances and reach my heart. I tell you that the vast majority of the people who claim to have such experiences are not having an experience of touching the formless God through the Christ consciousness. They are having the experience of interacting with a man-made god, the false god created by Christianity, or even the false gods, the false spirits, created by specific churches.

This is not who I AM. This is not worshipping me, following me, being loyal to me, acknowledging me. You do not do me any service by indulging in these experiences where you simply go into an ecstatic or trancelike state and your mind can be taken over by lower spirits. This is NOT the Holy Spirit, for it is undivided, indivisible, and it always points to the formless God, not a man-made image of God or Christ. What is the difference, you might say? The formless God is beyond any image and so is Christ. This is what people either cannot or will not realize. Why will they not realize this? Because their minds have been trapped by the snares created by the fallen beings. The fallen beings cannot (because they will not) experience the formless God or the Christ consciousness. If they could or would experience the Christ consciousness, they would not be fallen beings.

This is, one might say, a black-and-white viewpoint. You understand, or at least I aim to help you understand, that there are certain things on earth that are either/or. Your television is either on or off. It is not in some in-between state. It is either day or night, although there is a brief in-between state. A color is either black or white. It is not black and white at the same time, although it can be a mixture of the two. This is not black-and-white thinking. This is simply distinguishing between various characteristics.

Black-and-white thinking is when you impose a mental image upon reality instead of being willing to experience reality. Black-and-white thinking begins when you create an idol and project that this is God, the only true God, and therefore you refuse to go beyond the idol and experience the formless God. When you experience the formless God or the formlessness of the Christ consciousness, you cannot be in black-and-white thinking. If you are in black-and-white thinking, you cannot experience the formless God.

The scribes and Pharisees in America

What, then, can get you out of black-and-white thinking once you have entered that state of mind? Nothing, nothing from heaven or earth, except your own willingness to question the way you look at life. Surely, you can give people an experience that there is an alternative to black-and-white thinking. This is what I did when I walked the earth in a physical body. This is what many of you can do because you have enough Christ consciousness that you can give people that experience. It still requires the exercise of free will where you are willing to step back, look at your thinking, and say: “Is this all there is to my ability to think? Is this all there is to my mind’s ability to grasp reality? Or can I potentially have an experience that is beyond these mental images?”

The scribes and the Pharisees were not willing to question their images, even when I stood before them in the flesh. The leaders of the Jewish religion were not willing to question their images, for they would not let go of the form that they were seeking to maintain over time. Therefore, they would rather kill the Living Christ than change their thinking, transcend their thinking. The sad fact is that the vast majority of the leaders of Christian churches in America are in exactly the same frame of mind today as the scribes and Pharisees were in when I stood before them in the flesh. Now I again stand, almost in the flesh, and I speak to the mass consciousness of the Christian churches in America. Therefore I say: “Come forth out of the tomb of this false Christianity that worships a man-made spirit that is not the Living Christ!”
