Ascended Master Mother Mary, July 18, 2015 through Kim Michaels. This dictation was given during a conference in Los Angeles.

I AM the Ascended Master Mother Mary. I come to provide the Omega perspective of what has been given to you by Archangel Michael, with whom I work very closely in many situations.

We are close in the sense that we can shift roles very easily, and there are actually times where I am in a polarity with Archangel Michael that I hold the masculine polarity and he the feminine. This may surprise you, but that is how it is in the ascended realm where we are much more flexible and not tied to the kind of roles you see on earth. It is truly a matter of what is needed at the moment.

Why things happened to you

This is a key also to your own path where you realize that so many times in your lives you have done things that you later regretted. You have had experiences that hurt you, and you look back and wish it had not happened. I tell you, my beloved, there is nothing that you have ever done, no decision you have ever made, no experience you have ever had, that was not in some way necessary for you, for your path at that moment. Now, you may look back at your life and say, “Why did this happen to me? Why did this have to happen to me?” But there was a reason: At that point in time when the event happened, you were in a certain state of consciousness.

This is a very complex matrix. We have giving you teachings about the four lower bodies, and you realize, of course, that most people on earth are not aware that they have three higher bodies. They think everything happens to them in the conscious mind. Maybe they are aware that there is some subconscious mind, but they do not really understand what is going on there and how it affects them at the conscious level. You, of course, are beginning to understand this and how decisions, how events in your life, are co-created and manifested by descending through the four levels of the material universe. I tell you that your entire consciousness is far more complex than just the four lower bodies because there are intricate matrices at each of those levels. At any point in time you are facing a certain very complex situation in your four lower bodies, and in order to move forward on your spiritual path, you need a certain experience that gives you a different perspective.

I know from my own time in embodiment on earth how easy it is to go into the state of mind of feeling that you have been hurt, that you have been wounded, that you have been damaged, that something so bad happened to you – or that you made such a bad decision – that you could not possibly overcome it. You could not be free of it. You could not move on. This is one of the most subtle plots of the fallen beings: to make you feel that, because of something that happened on earth, you cannot now approach God. You are banished to remain separate from God for an indefinite period of time.

What did Archangel Michael say? He looks beyond the outer form at your Presence. Your Presence is an extension of the infinite God. That which is infinite cannot be damaged or even affected by that which is finite. You, of course, are not the Presence in embodiment. You are what we have called the Conscious You, which is a formless being, but you have become identified with form. You think that what has happened to you in the world of form can affect your relationship with God. This is the one lie that the fallen beings want you to believe more than any other lie. There is nothing in the finite world that can affect your relationship to the infinite God because you were created beyond the finite world. That which is created out of infinity cannot be infinitely trapped in the finite world.

You are here to shift consciousness

You will be free only when you reconnect to the reality that you are an infinite being, that you cannot be damaged or trapped in any form on earth. How then will you be free of this? My beloved, you will be free of it only when you are able to look at a certain form, look at a certain event in your life, and then experience how the hold that it had on you, on your self-image, simply falls away, and the form no longer matters. It is inconsequential. It does not define you. It does not limit you.

You see, my beloved, many of you have come to earth in order to help shift the collective consciousness to a higher level. You saw before you came here how the people who are embodying on earth were so trapped in these intricate matrices of illusions caused by the fallen beings, and you desired to help. You desired to come down and help. My beloved, how do you help?

Do you not realize that we of the ascended masters have been giving teachings now for a very long time? Through several messengers directly, but even before that we have indirectly inspired many people with new teachings and ideas. Do you not realize that, even though we have given the keys to people’s liberation even just in the teachings given through this messenger, it is not realistic that the majority of the people would ever be willing to read them and take these teachings? The reality is that, even though you can give an outer teaching that is helpful for some people, no teaching would ever liberate the majority of the people on this planet. They can only be liberated by seeing an example of how a person who has been as limited as they are can throw off the yoke, can jump down from the cross and stand in a higher state of consciousness than that previous limitation.

Why have you made certain decisions in your life? Why have you placed yourself in – being born into, in some cases, or going into later in life – situations that hurt you, that limited you, that caused you to go into a temporary downward spiral? Why have you done this? Is it because you are stupid? [Laughter] Or is it because you wanted to take this on in order to demonstrate that one can rise above it? I submit to you that it is the second scenario that is true for each and every one who is willing to hear or read this teaching. Had it not been true for you, you would not have placed yourself in contact with this teaching.

Why you took certain things on

Therefore recognize who you are, recognize why you are here, what is your potential. Then look at these manifestations that have occurred in your life in a new light, and see that they are just that—something you took on in order to demonstrate how to rise above it. Also, you took it on in order to know what people experience when they are trapped in these matrices. You may look at yourself and your life and what you have gone through. You may say: “I was an angry person,” “I was abusive towards my spouse,” “I was taking drugs,” “I was drinking,” “I was this, “I was that.” Be willing to recognize that the consciousness created by the fallen beings – and embraced by the majority of people on earth – is that when you have done something on earth, this means you have become it. If you have been drinking, you have become an alcoholic. This is what the world wants to put upon you. This is what so many people who know you want to project upon you. Because of what you did in the past, now they can define who you are.

My beloved, this is a control game. We might call it the original control game because nothing on earth defines who you are, for you are an extension of the infinite God. You are a formless being, and that does not mean you are less. It means you are beyond form. You cannot be defined by form unless you allow yourself to identify with the matrix put upon you by the fallen consciousness, sometimes through people that are close to you: family or friends or what have you. Be not concerned about this. Do not feel that you have to accept the judgment of others, for you are not here to accept their judgment and their opinions.

You are here to demonstrate that, regardless of what other people have put upon you, you can refuse to be defined by it. You can transcend it. You can rise above it and say: “This is not who I AM. I am MORE than this.” When you do, then you have fulfilled your highest potential, your reason for coming into embodiment. When you transcend a limitation, does it really matter that you took on the limitation? Why would you feel guilty about it? Why would you feel regrets? Why would you be angry with yourself? It is only the ego that wants you to accept this idea that you somehow did something wrong or that you were flawed because you took this on.

The ultimate control game with yourself

This is the nail, the final nail, that keeps you on the cross. You all have something in your lives that people are using to judge or condemn you. It is your thinking that this defines you. What did the God and Goddess of Love say? The ultimate control game is that you seek to maintain form over time. What are you doing to yourself when you say that, because of what happened to me in the past, I am now a certain person for the rest of this lifetime and cannot rise above it? You are seeking to maintain a form over time, and therefore you are seeking to control yourself.

Why, my beloved, would you seek to control yourself? Because you are afraid of your own power. You are afraid of your own light. In many cases this is very understandable. If you will read or listen to my dictation on this topic and the other dictations on this topic from the Holland conference, you will see that many of you have this birth trauma of how you first came into embodiment and your light was so brutally rejected that you many times decided you never wanted to feel so rejected and so hurt again. You are afraid that, if you express your light in this lifetime, you will be rejected again.

It has been a very, very long time since that original rejection. You have experienced so many things on this earth that you have the potential to almost instantly shift out of this by realizing that, whatever people project upon you, it is not you. It is not related to you. It is their own substance that they are projecting out.

When you recognize this, you see that you have a right to be who you are. God has given you that right. God has given you the right to be in embodiment on earth, to be who you are, and to exercise your Christhood. Many of you have come to believe that exercising your Christhood means that you reach some superior, superhuman state of consciousness, as you believe Jesus manifested. I tell you, I was with Jesus from an infant throughout his entire mission, and I saw that he was not the superhuman being that the Christian movement has projected. He also had certain human characteristics. He also had his fears and hesitations.

There are, of course, levels and degrees of Christhood. The first level of Christhood – and, in a sense, the hardest hurdle to overcome on the path of Christhood – is precisely this: that you look at a limitation you have experienced, a decision you have made, you look at some matrix that other people have put upon you, and then you say: “I will not let this stop me. I will not let it stop me from walking my own personal path, from fulfilling my Divine plan, from expressing the light that I AM. I will not let it stop me, whatever people project upon me, because what they project is their own stuff, and I have no obligation to take upon myself other people’s stuff. What I do have an obligation to do is look at my own stuff and say: ‘Why do I feel I should let this limit me?’ Then, when I see this, I can let it go. I can transcend it.”

How do you transcend it? By recognizing, as we have said before in many different ways, that it is not real and it has no power. You don’t need to solve any problem, any issue. You don’t need to change anything outside or inside yourself. You just need to look at it and then let it go, walk away from it, rise above it.

Why things seem real to us

Why does it seem real to you? Because you think it is real. You think it can define you. You think it has power over you, but it does not. It is an illusion. It is just a form. It is in a temporary world. It is in an unascended sphere. It is on a very low planet in an unascended sphere. It has no reality. It can be sustained over time, but for a very short interval of time compared to eternity.

Why let it define you? You have let it define you maybe for years, but those years are made up of what? Months, days, hours, minutes, seconds. It is not that the matrix has existed in some continuous existence for that time. You have recreated it and projected it upon yourself every moment, and that means you can stop projecting it upon yourself. You can stop accepting it at any moment, including right now.

There is perhaps no better now to stop accepting these limitations than when in the Presence of an ascended master who holds that immaculate concept for you, your Christhood, the fulfilment of your Divine plan and your expression of your unique gift on this planet. I have said it before many times: I did not love Jesus any more than I love each one of you. I love you with a fiery love of the mother but also with the infinitely soft love of the mother, the nurturing love. I am willing, my beloved, to help you in any way possible, and what is possible? What is possible for you individually? Anything you can accept to be possible is possible, for it is only your non-acceptance that makes it impossible. Free will is the ultimate determiner on Earth.

Listen to me, my beloved. I am telling you the most essential truth you will ever hear. It can be expressed with different words, but it is the same truth. I just want you to be free, and I am here constantly. I am going to be with you always, as I have been with you always since my ascension. You only need ask and open your heart to my assistance. I know some will think: “But I cannot hear Mother Mary. I do not know what is real and unreal.” These are all illusions. If you can accept that I am with you, then I can and will help you overcome any limitation you face.

It has been said: “Greater love has no man than to lay down his life for a friend.” There is a greater love than that. We are not asking anyone to lay down a physical life, for the physical life is precious, and you are in embodiment to fulfil your Divine plan and to shine your light. We of the ascended masters have the greater love, and we have laid down our ongoing movement, in the infinite spheres of the ascended realm, in order to be with earth. You have laid down your lives, your ongoing growth on planets that were far easier than earth, in order to come to earth, take on limitations, and demonstrate how to rise above them.

You are here because of love

You came here out of love. Do not let the fallen ones make you believe that you are not worthy of love and that you cannot love yourself. You are loved, or you would not be on this planet. Do not believe that you came here because you fell or made mistakes or made karma. Those of you who can hear this dictation came here by choice, and the choice sprang from your love, your love for planet earth, for the people on earth, for the cause of the ascended masters, for the upward movement of the entire world of form. Reconnect to that love.

Allow yourself to realize and contemplate that you came here out of love. Reconnect to what it is you really love. Perhaps it is exactly the limitation you took on that can show you what you really love because you love to set people free from this kind of limitation. You love to demonstrate that light and love can indeed conquer any limitation. Reconnect; feel the love. Allow yourself to recognize that you are a being born out of love, and it is a love that is beyond anything on earth. Therefore no matter what has happened on this planet of anti-love or with such anti-love, it has not changed you. You are still a being of love.

My beloved, you have heard us use the phrase catch-22. There is no greater catch-22 on earth than when you cannot love yourself, or accept that you are worthy of love, or even accept that you are a being of love. Then you cannot reconnect to who you are and why you came here. You will think you are here for other reasons, that you are flawed, have made mistakes or are here to perform some kind of work or produce some kind of change on the outer. You are not here for that. Truly, you are here to demonstrate that you can take on anti-love and then just let it go and again be the open door for love. That is your ultimate mission, as it was my ultimate mission and the ultimate mission of Jesus, El Morya/Master More, Saint Germain, Serapis Bey, Kuthumi, all of us who have embodied on earth. This was our ultimate mission, to take on some form of anti-love and then rise above it through accepting that we are beings of love.

With that, I seal you in my love, and I will keep you sealed for as long as you accept that you are sealed. I will help you be healed as long as you can accept that you are healed.

A message from the Ascended Master Mother Mary through Kim Michaels, June 28, 2015

I am the Ascended Master Mother Mary. I come to give you an informal talk about some of the developments you see on the world stage.

Mother Mary’s 500 vigil

I first of all want to thank all of you who have participated in my monthly vigil. Although you may not see a direct measurable result of your efforts, I can assure you that there have been positive results of the vigils you have performed so far. I do not want any of you to feel that you cannot participate in this vigil. If you are not able to give four hours for whatever reason, then give what you can. It is not an all-or-nothing proposition.

I do not want you to be so focused on what I originally said that this becomes almost like an obsession that you have to fulfill. It does not have to be 500 people decreeing for four hours at the exact same time. My purpose is to get you to get as many people as possible to focus their efforts at approximately the same time on the same decrees and invocations and on making calls on the same topics so that you unify your efforts and therefore there is more of an acceleration. It has never been my intent to burden you in any way or to make any of you feel that you are not capable or worthy of participating in the vigil.

As I have said many times before, anything you do is better than doing nothing and is greatly appreciated by me and by other members of the ascended masters. Especially by the angels who receive the energy to take action on earth. And my beloved, the angels do take action. Whenever someone makes the call, the call compels the answer and there is always an answer although you may not see it in the physical. You can rest assured that there is an action taken in the three higher realms. When the angels can take an action in the three higher realms, there will eventually be a filtering through to the physical where certain things will happen that otherwise would not have happened.

In many cases the result of your calls is that certain things do not happen that otherwise would have happened. Since the things do not happen, you do not always know the potential for what could have happened and therefore it is more difficult for you to see a result of your efforts. I can only say that there has already been significant results of your efforts and that certain events that could have come to pass, have not come to pass as a result of your calls made. I encourage you to keep up the good work, and I encourage those of you who have been hesitant to participate, to participate as best you can, given your individual situation.

The crisis in Greece

Now if you, as I can do, look at the earth from a distance and look at the energy emanations of the planet, then you can see certain patterns that are taking place on the planet right now. There are certain places where there is a greater emanation, a radiation of energy, and there are other places where there are vortexes of energy that are sucking energy into this vortex.

Right now, and for some time of course, there has been an energy vortex over the nation of Greece. You are all aware of the escalating crisis around the debt that has been incurred by the Greek nation. You are aware of the efforts to negotiate, and you are aware of the latest initiative of the Greek government to put this out to a public referendum. Regardless of the outcome of such a referendum, the problem of debt itself will not go away. This, I think, anyone who is familiar with the situation recognizes. It is therefore not my intention here to tell the Greek people what to do or not to do; this is for them to decide. We of the ascended masters do not always, in situations like this, have a clear outcome that we desire to see happen. In this case there is no clear choice for the Greek people because whatever they vote on this coming Sunday will not make the debt go away.

The debt crisis in the modern world

The larger issue that I want to comment on is what the world is going to do, not only about the debt of Greece but of the debt of many other nations. When does there emerge a more widespread awareness that the developed, modern world is facing a debt crisis, a debt problem, that is escalating and is threatening to destroy the world economy. The financial crisis in 2008 was caused by artificially created financial instruments that very much had to do with debt. The financial instruments had masked the risk of the debt. In 2008, this was debt primarily incurred by individuals but you saw how the debt incurred by individual human beings had become large enough to create a shock to the international financial system.

As you know, many governments owe far more money than any individual could ever borrow. It is not difficult to envision that there is a potential for the debt of governments to create an even greater shock to the international economy. There are therefore two questions that need to be considered and that are not sufficiently being considered, by not only the decision-makers of the world but especially by the people of the world. The first question is: “How did we ever allow our nation to incur such a large debt?” The second question is:”Now that the debt is there and that many nations have a debt so large that they cannot realistically pay it back, what do we then do with this problem?”

There are many nations who for years have been doing what certain individuals have also been doing, namely, spending more money than they take in, than they make. It is necessary to ask how this is even possible. It is, of course, possible because you have a democratic system that is not functioning at the highest level. The reason why the democratic system cannot function at its highest level is basically that the people in a particular nation are not willing to take responsibility for their nation and their nation’s economy and for their personal lives.

There are certain realities for how the economy of an individual, or a family, or a nation functions. A healthy economy is an economy where you do not have to borrow in order to maintain your normal, daily lifestyle. There may be certain extraordinary circumstances where you need to borrow for the short term in order to weather a certain crisis. There may be certain times where you wish to borrow in order to invest in something, whether this be a house that an individual or a family wants to buy or some other large item, or whether it be something in which a nation wants to invest, such as building infrastructure that will later pay off and therefore is an investment. It should not be necessary in a healthy economy to borrow in order to meet daily expenses or unnecessary consumption. This is neither necessary nor responsible, whether we are talking individuals or nations.

The problem with the welfare state

Basically, the problem here is that we have democracies where policy is not based on reality but on a perception of reality. This, you might recall, is what we have talked about was the problem with the 2008 financial crisis. You had an economy that was not based on reality but on a perception of reality. When that perception suddenly shifted, then almost instantly the economy took a dive into a crisis that almost threatened to destroy the entire system.

What we have been giving you, through the teachings of this messenger and other teachings we have given over the last century, is a frame of reference that there is a higher reality, a higher way to look at life on earth, than what human beings have developed. Their minds have become closed systems so they think they can define reality by their theories and ideologies instead of tuning in to the higher reality of the ascended masters. This, of course, can easily be done by a dictatorship, as you have seen with both Nazism and communism.

What has often been overlooked is that a democracy is also vulnerable to this mechanism. People begin to think that they can live a certain way and that they can get without giving in return. When a population develops this attitude, an attitude which has somewhat been fostered by the development of the modern welfare state, then they will attract politicians who either believe the same or who realize that they can get elected by playing on people’s desire to receive without giving.

We have many times talked about the parable of Jesus with the talents and explained that it is necessary to multiply your talents. When you do multiply the talents, then we of the ascended masters can multiply your efforts, and then everything grows. If a critical mass of people in a democracy are multiplying their talents, then an economy can function, even to the point where you can have a large percentage of the population being recipients of the welfare system. This is a delicate balance, and it can shift for a variety of reasons. When it does shift, it is almost inevitable that the people who are inside this system will not realize that the balance has shifted.

The reason for this is that they have become comfortable in their system, and they do not want to change. They are caught in a trap where the people do not want to change their basic outlook on life. People do not want to multiply their talents more than they are doing. As a result, they will attract politicians who will promise them that they can continue living the way they are doing. Because the people want to believe this, they will vote for these politicians who are promising them a perception that is disconnected from reality.

Once these politicians get elected, they often realize (if they did not before getting elected) that they cannot fulfill their election promises except in one way: They can fulfill their election promises only by borrowing money from outside the nation’s own economy. This then is what sets even a democratic nation, living in peaceful times, on a downward spiral of debt that in previous times was seen only in nations who had been to war.

A false economy

In my recent book on ow to stop war, I talk about the fact that the fallen beings have created a false economy and that the entire world economy is still functioning as a wartime economy. You have many democratic nations in Europe and elsewhere who have not been in a war, at least not a major war, for some time. What people have not recognized is that these nations have continued to borrow in order to build, sustain or expand the welfare state. This, of course, is not sustainable for one simple reason, and that reason can be summed up with one word: interest.

In my book on war I also explain that the fallen beings are the ones who have created the concept of interest, and its only purpose is to tie people to the elite, or other purposes on an even wider scale that are less recognized and less understood by people. The fact of the matter is that when you introduce interest, it is possible for a nation (or, for that matter, an individual) to borrow so much money that there comes a point where the debt cannot be paid back because the interest alone is greater than the money that the nation has available for paying back the loan.

Corruption

I have mentioned before that one of the big problems in the economy, and certainly in the Greek economy, is corruption. Corruption is one of these factors that most people are not willing to truly look at, and it is difficult to look at because it is, of course, hidden by its very nature. There may be instances where everybody knows what is going on and nobody says anything about it because they all know someone who benefits from it or they think the system cannot be changed.

In many cases, no one is willing to really measure what effect corruption has on the economy. As we have said before, corruption is not a multiplication of the talents. It has the opposite effect; it actually destroys the multiplication factor. It discourages people from doing something extra because they feel they can get nowhere due to the corruption. Or they feel that things become so expensive due to the corruption that there are many types of  businesses or business deals that simply do not pay off.

Should all debt be paid back?

This is, of course, a very big problem in the Greek economy. As I have mentioned before, the Greek economy cannot truly be improved without addressing this. When you look at Greece as the situation stands today – where an hour of decision has finally arrived and where there are few more games to play – then you can see that on the one hand it is understandable that the international community feels that something is wrong in the Greek economy itself. Many people feel that the Greek people need to do something – need to take responsibility to pay back the debt, need to create reforms in the economy – so that they can be on the path to eventually paying back the debt. I do not in any way wish to say, that the Greek people are without responsibility and should not make changes. There are many changes that need to be made in order for Greece and other nations to be on a positive upward path with their economies.

You understand that I am in no way discouraging changes in Greece and other nations where the debt is also reaching or having reached dangerous levels. What I also want to bring to your attention is that the debt problem is an artificial problem created by the fallen beings. It is not something that is sustainable. It is, in fact, not divine justice that the people should pay back the debt to the fallen beings and their false economy. Do you understand what I am saying?

There is the concept of karma. Most people see this as: You do something that creates a debt for you, a debt to life, a karma. Most people believe this karma can be balanced by paying it back in various ways. As we have tried to explain many times, karma is really a teacher, or rather a substitute teacher, and when you have learned the lesson, there is no need for you to suffer in paying back the debt. There are, however, ways whereby the fallen beings have taken advantage of the law of karma. This is what we have sometimes called karma-dodging, and this can happen when a small elite of fallen beings manage to deceive and manipulate the larger population into taking certain actions.

An example is the debt crisis. The fallen beings have created a false economy and they gradually manipulate the population of a country to take on this debt. Especially when this is a democratic country, it is clear that the population should have been more aware and should have been more willing to take responsibility. They should have not elected the politicians who escalated the debt into a crisis. Therefore, the people have a certain karmic responsibility for the situation. However, it is also clear that the situation was not created exclusively by the people and it was not created in full knowledge of what was happening.

Part of the responsibility for creating the situation lies with the fallen beings, and they have achieved this through deception and manipulation. They are attempting to make the people feel responsible for this and to accept that they should bear the entire karma. On the physical, visible level you can see how the international financial elite wants the Greek people to take on the full responsibility for the national debt and enact and accept whatever measure the international community is demanding in order to pay back the debt over time. Do you see the delicate balance I am describing here?

Yes, the Greek people do have some responsibility, but it is not karmicly just that any group of people, any population, takes on the full karma created by a small elite. This is karma dodging where the elite creates the karma and then dodges that it rests on their shoulders by getting the population to unknowingly take on the karma. In reality, the international financial elite who is behind the manipulation of the economy should bear the loss if a nation cannot pay back the loan. They are attempting to get the population to accept that they should pay back the full debt.

Overcoming the karma of debt

We of the ascended masters face a very delicate balance in such situations. We of course want responsibility to be placed where it belongs. We want the fallen beings in and out of embodiment to be forced to face their responsibility. We can do this only if the people awaken to the reality of the situation. This means that the people must either come to be aware of how they have been manipulated by an elite and demand that this stops, or they must come to an awareness that they are willing to take responsibility for the economy of their nation and not create further debt and not have a national economy based on borrowing. Ideally, both these conditions should be fulfilled. If one or both are not fulfilled, then the effect will be that the people will voluntarily, but without fully understanding what they are doing, take on the karma and the physical debt that really is created by the elite. This means that we of the ascended masters cannot step in and dissolve the karma of the people.

If, on the other hand, the people would wake up and refuse to be manipulated and take responsibility for their nation so they create a sustainable economy, then we of the ascended masters could indeed hold back, consume and transmute much of the karma. At the same time, if the people did awaken and become aware and responsible, then it is not divine justice that they should pay back the debt. You could say that if people borrow from the elite, then they should pay it back. But what I am telling you is that when this borrowing happens as a result of the manipulation of the elite, then it is not divine justice, it is not karmicly necessary that people pay back the debt.

What I am telling you here is simple. Even in Biblical times it was recognized that if you allow the lending of money with interest, it will create a snowball effect that will eventually threaten the entire economy. There is only one way out and that is that if you allow the borrowing of money with interest, there will come certain times where you need to write off debt in order to sustain a functioning economy. The world is very quickly approaching a point where the only practical, realistic, wisdom-of-the-mother way out of the debt crisis is to simply nullify much of the debt. You have to write it off in order to avoid a collapse of the system.

Reforming the financial system

We of the ascended masters are not saying this is the only way out, for it would also be a possibility to reform the entire economic system. Given that people have shown surprisingly little willingness to do this, even though they had the severe warning of the 2008 financial crisis, then we do not judge this to be the most likely scenario. It is therefore more likely that the debt crisis will continue to escalate, spreading to other nations beyond Greece and therefore the world will be faced with the situation of either we write off the debt and the interest payments of a number of nations or we see a collapse of the entire financial system, including, of course, a collapse of the Euro and much of the financial system in Europe.

Saint Germain, of course, has no intent and no desire to see a collapse of the European Union, for he still deems it valuable that the nations of Europe can cooperate in all ways. Yet he does not want, of course, that this happens by bringing the populations of many nations in Europe into a hopeless debt to the international financial elite. If the people will not learn one way, they must learn in another way. It is more realistic that the debt crisis will escalate until people are faced with the necessity of simply writing off the debts and therefore giving the nations an opportunity to start over with no debt.

This is not a long-term solution. Again, if you take Greece and several other nations, they are needing to borrow just to sustain their present lifestyle and level of welfare. Even if Greece had no debt tomorrow, its economy still would not be functioning at a sustainable level. This will still need to be addressed even if the debt is written off. Again, the question is whether the people of Greece, or Italy, or Spain, or Portugal, or other nations are willing to face the reality of what it takes to make a national economy function.

There is, of course, another possibility and that is that the European Union could be made to change so that individual nations could be held afloat by the whole. If you look across the Atlantic, you will see that there are in fact American states where, if they were to have a national economy as an independent nation, they would not be financially viable states. This problem is, to some degree, compensated for by the fact that the United States has a strong federal government, which can therefore in various ways keep the economy of certain states afloat.

It may be necessary, or at least a possibility, that Europe could do something similar, but this would, of course, require the creation of a federal government of Europe. At present, there are many nations in Europe who are not ready or willing to even consider this. Yet is it not logical that this would be one potential way forward for Europe and that it would provide the nations of Europe with a unique challenge for how to overcome the conflicts and wars of the past and develop an entirely new spirit of cooperation. We have earlier talked about the need to transcend nation states and this would certainly fit in with some of the visions that Saint Germain has for how Europe could move forward.

The importance of making calls

We are, of course, fully aware that the fallen beings would dearly love to see the development of a more centralized government in Europe because they think that they can be in control of it. You, who are the spiritual people, need to realize that when you make the calls, you can prevent the control of the fallen beings, for that control begins in the identity, mental and emotional realms.

Regardless of what happens in the physical octave, if you make the calls for the binding and consuming of the demons and the fallen beings in the three higher octaves, then developments in the physical can happen without them being controlled by the fallen beings. The fallen beings in physical embodiment have relatively little power when they are not backed, or rather controlled, by those in the three higher octaves. When you make the calls, we can step in and bind and remove these beings and thereby neutralize much of the power that the fallen beings in embodiment have. We can, of course, also in many cases remove the fallen beings from embodiment when the calls are given. As you will see, if more and more people begin to give these invocations and make the calls then you will see the removal of some of these beings.

Not always an ideal solution

You understand here that when you look at this debt crisis, there is not just one clear-cut solution. There is, in a sense, one solution we could envision but it is not realistic that most people on earth would awaken within a short period of time to be willing to do what it takes to implement that solution. That is why, when we look at the earth, we look at what would be the highest solution but we also look at where people are at in consciousness and therefore we see that in most cases the ideal solution is not realistic. We therefore look for other scenarios whereby we can gradually, and often in indirect ways, take people towards an improvement of the situation even though we see that they cannot reach the ideal solution within a short period of time.

This makes it absolutely necessary to avoid what we have talked about before, the black-and-white thinking and the epic mindset where you think there is only one right way and everything else is wrong. Or you think there is an ideal solution that must be manifest. As we have explained, there is no particular physical outcome that is all-important or the only right one. The purpose of the earth is to raise people’s consciousness, and this can happen in many different ways through many different outer situations and scenarios. It is not that Saint Germain, as he has explained himself, holds one particular image of how the Golden Age should be manifest. The Golden Age is a process in which people are raising their awareness of how the earth works in a way that they have not been able or willing to do before.

This involves what I talked about at the conference in Holland, namely the wisdom of the mother where people look beyond the ideal scenarios, the religious or political ideologies or even the scientific ideologies and then they look at how the matter universe actually works. They combine both the wisdom of the father and the wisdom of the mother into the Christ vision that unites heaven and earth instead of seeing a distance or a separation between them.

The Middle East

Right now, of course, the issue of Greece and debt is the most prominent issue on earth but there are several others. Ukraine is of course, still an important topic to make calls upon, as there are clearly things going on there that are not being fully brought out into the light and need to be exposed. Then of course, there is the Middle East. I have for some time not spoken much about the Middle East and I have not really encouraged you to make calls on the situation. This may seem cruel, for why would we not want the suffering and the fighting to stop? Of course we want the suffering and the fighting to stop, but we also look at the consciousness of the people and we see that it is simply not realistic that the fighting can stop before there has been even more suffering so that the people decide that they have had enough.

Unfortunately for all of the people involved, and especially the children, this critical point has not been reached. This is again a matter of the wisdom of the mother being lacking in the Middle East because of the suppression of women. There are still so many people who are in the fanatical mindset of wanting to create an Islamic State based on sharia law. This is again the fanatical, epic, black-and-white mindset of thinking that a certain religious ideology is more important than the suffering of the people. Whereas the wisdom of the mother is what allows people to say: “No, we cannot allow this kind of suffering in order to promote an idea that is, after all, just an idea and not physical people.”

Yes, you can make the calls for this change to happen, but it is not the most important topic to make calls on right now. As I have explained, there are other topics that are more important whereby I mean that they have a greater probability of producing results. Unfortunately, the Middle East is locked at a point where the people need to experience even more pain before they are willing to make the changes that need to be made in the way they look at and approach life. I have, of course, said before that the moderate Muslims need to speak out, and so far they have not done so at a sufficient level that it begins to make a difference.

A breakthrough in greater awareness

I do not wish to burden you with all of the issues that can quickly make you feel overwhelmed. I am, of course, not overwhelmed by anything that is happening on earth, for I am the primary representative for earth of the wisdom of the Divine Mother. I see that, from the perspective of earth being a schoolroom, things are not worse now than they have been at many points in the past. I also see that in many ways things are better now because even though you see certain problems on earth, I also see the underlying tendency of how in many nations there is the beginning of a breakthrough to a greater awareness.

This is partly caused by the efforts of many spiritual people from many different groups and philosophies. It is also caused by a general raising of the collective consciousness and the level of education and understanding. It is also caused by the fact that many people have had enough of the old ways and are realizing that new thinking is necessary in order to overcome some of the problems that they see. I am, as always, positive, constructive, focused on the changes that can be brought about, and I give you the assessment that I think will enable you to make the most efficient calls that can have the greatest impact.

You should feel that your calls are having the greatest possible impact and that even though you cannot change the world in an instant, you are having a positive, ongoing momentum and impact on the planet. It is important for you, as Gautama Buddha said at New Year’s, to avoid any kind of fear in this year. It is important for you to tune in to the masters of love and to keep the love for life, the love for growth, the love for positive change, in your minds, in your chakras, in your emotional bodies. Do not allow the forces to drag your emotional bodies and your chakras into a downward spiral. If you feel such a spiral, if you feel you have gotten into it, then stop, step back and make an effort to use the tools we have given you to get out of this spiral so that you can again focus on the positive.

My beloved, life is a beautiful opportunity even on a planet like earth. Yes, you can focus on all the negatives and get yourself into a state of mind of thinking that some crisis is looming but you can just as easily make the choice to focus on the positive and see that whatever crisis may be looming or may be happening, behind it is still an opportunity for the awakening of the people that will bring positive, long-term changes. This is what I wish you, who are our most faithful students, to focus on: the positive long-term changes on earth. I want you to know that because you are in embodiment, and because you are raising your consciousness and you are making the calls, there is a long-term, positive, upward spiral on the planet. I want you to focus on that, to focus on reinforcing it in your personal lives and on the planetary level. I do not want you to focus on the negatives. I want you to be aware enough to make the calls but not to be sucked into a pessimistic spiral.

This is my desire for you on this beautiful summer day. Enjoy the beauty of nature, of life, of the world, of the spiritual reality that is only slightly hidden by the dense physical veil of matter, that is really not a veil of matter but a veil of energy. Your minds can learn to look beyond the veil and there you will see me smiling at you, holding the positive vision for all of my children but with a special love for those of my children who are aware that I exist and who are willing to listen to my messages and use the tools I have given. For this I am grateful and I encourage you to continue to make the calls and we will continue to answer them.

Ascended Master Mother Mary,  through Kim Michaels, June 20, 2015, during a conference in Estonia.

I am the Ascended Master Mother Mary. I come because, again, the call compels the answer. I am grateful to have been provided a platform here in this country of Estonia. My message is not only for this country but part of my message is especially for this country of Estonia.

The Estonian spiritual flame

We have before talked about how Estonia carries a Love flame, not only among the three Baltic countries but in all of this region of Eastern and Northern Europe. I know that when you, as Estonians, look at yourselves and your nation, you often find this difficult to believe. Some have indeed read what we have said before and rejected it because they don’t see how the Estonian people can be seen as “being loving.” But perhaps I can help you understand that the rough façade that you see in yourself – the rough sense of humor, the silence, the lack of openness – is a defense mechanism. It covers over the inner softness, the inner tenderness, that has been put down for so long, for so many generations, that you dare not acknowledge it or express it for the fear of what will happen when you are put down once again.

Surely, “the child who has been burned shuns the fire,” as the old saying goes, and therefore you can see entire nations (Estonia certainly not being the only one) where the people have for so long had to suppress the spiritual flame that they carry, that they dare not even acknowledge it in themselves. I truly wish there was a way to reach into people’s hearts and help them discover the flame that burns there. I, of course, see that flame. I see the unique beauty of it. I see this for every nation, but given that I am speaking here, I see the unique beauty of the flame burning in the hearts of the Estonian people. I also see that this flame burns in the hearts of many of the people who live in Estonia but who do not always feel as Estonians because they come from a Russian heritage.

Russians in the Baltic countries

You need to ask: “Why did those particular people from Russia or their ancestors get settled here?” Is it not reasonable to assume, my beloved, that it was because something in their heart flame resonated with the heart flame of the Estonian people? When you begin to recognize this, perhaps you can also begin to see what is the way out of the current tension that so many in the Baltic countries and the other Eastern European countries feel. Especially in the Baltic countries we have the issue of many people from a Russian heritage living in those three countries. With the current tension with Russia, of course, there is concern about what is going to happen and of course the people of a Russian heritage are feeling somewhat ostracized by the rest of the population in their countries.

What is the only real way to deal with a situation like this? The only real way is to look beyond the outer differences and to acknowledge that even though you come from different countries (different religions, different races, different ethnic groups, different nationalities) you can still have a resonance of your heart flames when you recognize the resonance in yourself.

You can feel when your heart flame resonates with the heart flame of someone else and then, if you make a switch with the outer mind, suddenly the outer differences no longer matter. They are not obstacles that prevent you from communicating or finding solutions. You see beyond them and you can communicate and you can find solutions despite the outer differences.

My beloved, I talked at the conference in Holland about the wisdom of the Mother. The wisdom of the Mother can be a delicate balance to find; this I acknowledge. When you find it, you see that there comes a point where you have to look at a certain situation and you have to acknowledge that this problem will not go away: “This particular situation, this issue, will not just vanish into thin air. It doesn’t matter how much we pray, how much we wish, how much we decree, the issue will not go away. We have to find a more constructive way to deal with the issue without resisting it.”

You have in the three Baltic countries a large population of Russian origin or descent. They are not going to disappear. You who are the native people in these countries have to acknowledge this, stop resisting, stop wishing that the problem would go away. Then, you have to find a more constructive way to deal with this so that the Russian part of your population does not become an inroad for the aggressive forces behind Putin and the current Russian government to interfere with your nations.

I will not give you specifics for how you deal with this because each country needs to decide based on your own mindset and tradition. I will say that you need to find a way to break down, in your own minds, the separation between Russian and non-Russian. In practical terms, you may also have to find a way to give people citizenship without certain requirements, such as language.

This situation is not just an aggression from the outside coming towards your nations. It is to some degree precipitated because after more than twenty years of being free from the Soviet yoke, you still have not been willing to face this issue of what to do with the Russians living in your countries. I say again, from the ascended master level we do not look at people as Russians or Estonians or Latvians or Lithuanians. We look at human beings as our spiritual brothers and sisters. We see your heart flame, we see beyond these outer characteristics that so often divide you. Therefore, we see that the only practical and spiritual way is that people start acknowledging their heart flame and learning to feel when it resonates with someone else and then use that inner resonance to look beyond the outer differences.

This will give you a different perspective on a situation that seems to have no solution.  Suddenly, when your focus shifts just a few degrees, you will begin to see, not an absolute or final solution but you will begin to see the next step that will move you in a positive direction. When you take that step, then you will see the next-and the next-and the next.

Each nation has a Divine plan

This is how it works on your individual spiritual path. My beloved, we have told you about a Divine plan and before you come into embodiment, you meet with your spiritual, your ascended, teachers and you create a life plan for this lifetime: What you want to learn, what you need to experience in order to see things in your psychology and what your service is, what you can bring as your gift to this planet.

There is nobody who has, at a certain age, seen the totality of their Divine plan. This is not how you grow. You grow by making a decision based on what you see today. When you make that decision and you are willing to learn from the decision and seek an inner perspective, an inner direction, then you see the next step on your path. Only when you take that next step, will you then see the one coming after that. This is how the path works.

This is also how the paths of nations work. If you individually have a spiritual path, does it not stand to reason that each nation also has a spiritual path. For each group of people, whether they form an actual nation or a group within a nation, they are on a collective path. How do you learn as individuals? By interacting with other people. How do you learn the most? By interacting with people who are in some way different from yourself.

There are some nations who have in their collective Divine plan vowed to interact with certain other people. You may think that the Soviet occupation of the three Baltic countries was forced upon those nations from without. You may think that the re-settlement of Russians in those three nations was forced upon you from without, but it was something that you had collectively agreed to as part of your national Divine plans. This was not only for your own growth but also for the growth of the Russians who settled here, who gain a different perspective than they could ever get from staying in Russia. You are in a way educating the Russians in how to be less Russian. But they are also educating you in how to be less Estonian, Latvian or Lithuanian. If you find a positive way to interact, then you will all educate each other on how to be more of what you are, not less of what you are not.

Of course, the Russians are not Russians no matter how strong their national sense of identity is. I speak directly into the collective consciousness of Russia and Russians everywhere: “You are not Russians! You are the Sons and Daughters of God! You are my beloved children! Stop acting like you want to be so different from my other children that you cannot get along with them!”

Ascended master love

We love all human beings with an infinite and unconditional love.  We do not love some people more or less than others. In infinity and unconditionality the concepts of more or less have no meaning. You understand that even the words “infinite” and “unconditional” are not really the correct words because no word can carry the vibration of our love. When we speak in words, we have to find some word that comes close to carrying the meaning.

Our love is so beyond human love that it is the ultimate transformative experience to experience the love of an ascended master. Truly, I wish I could give this experience to all people. We seek to give it through our dictations, through our teachings. We seek to give it to you individually when you give our decrees and invocations or when you find that moment of silence where you just let the mind rest. You let the thoughts fall away, you let the outer worries and concerns fall from you, at least for a moment, and you are just open to receive it.

Surely, at a certain stage of the spiritual path you cannot be open because you would open yourself up to lower forces. Therefore, you need to go through a period where you invoke protection. You call for yourself to be cut free; you call for the transformation of the energies that pull your attention into the astral plane or wherever. There does come a point where you have walked the path long enough, you have applied the teachings. Instead of always being focused on doing something or decreeing or this or that, you need to make time once in a while for just silence, just openness; not to get a direction, not to get an answer, not to have some heavenly voice speak to you. The less intention or expectation you have, the more open you are, the more likely it is that you will just experience love and nothing else.

Once you experience the love, then all of these other things; it is not that they fall away, it is not that they become unimportant, but it is that you see them in a different perspective. They no longer dominate your life; they no longer control your minds, your thinking or your feelings. They are just aspects of life that you can deal with without being fully involved with them. You can be in the world but not of the world.

The Estonian people and the Middle Way

As Archangel Michael said, you need to make your own decisions, but everything can be taken to an imbalanced state. You can have people who do not want to make decisions, and that is the one dualistic polarity. You can have the other, of people always in the mindset of doing something, having to make decisions, having to plan, having to change something—and they don’t have a moment for silence.

The Buddha talked about the Middle Way, which is not in between but beyond. It transcends both the polarities and what is in the midpoint between them; it transcends the scale. This, the Estonian people actually have a potential to realize. When you realize that you can express that love flame (you can dare to acknowledge it in yourselves), you can dare to let the rough outer facade (the sense that you are somehow primitive, that you are a little unpolished, not quite as civilized as some nations), you can let this fall away as being completely unimportant. My beloved, I see your heart flames. I do not see them as being less sophisticated compared to the heart flames of the people in any other nation. I see the same in Latvia and Lithuania, in Poland and Hungary and Czechoslovakia (or the former Czechoslovakia), in Romania, in Ukraine, in Russia.

You see, my beloved, would you not throw away an old overcoat when it was worn, and it had holes all over and it would rain right through? Maybe you would really like the coat and you will be a little sentimental about it, but after a while wouldn’t you get over the loss and feel much better in your new coat? Well, that is what you can do with this leftover from the past. All of the nations who were part of the Soviet block have tremendous records of unresolved energy.

We, of course, look to the spiritual people to make the calls for these to be dissolved and consumed. There comes that point of a conscious decision where you look at this, you look at your national background and your culture, and you see that certain things were developed only as a defence mechanism. They really do not serve you as a spiritual person, and therefore you decide to throw away that overcoat for yourself. By doing so, you make it easier for other people in your nation to do the same and that is how the whole progresses. Everyone is lifted up.

Now, you may say: “How can I, one person, how can just a few people affect an entire nation?” But you are not alone, affecting the entire nation, my beloved. What is pulling up a nation? We are the ascended masters, we are pulling up but we need someone in physical embodiment to be the anchor point, to be the open door. We need to have something to pull on. There needs to be a small percentage of people in a certain group, in a certain population, who are willing to be open about their relationship to the ascended masters, who are willing to work on their personal relationship. We can pull you up directly and thereby through your ties to those in your family and other people you meet in society, the whole is pulled up. You don’t have the power to pull up your nation but you don’t need the power, if you allow us to pull you up by you being willing to let go of the old.

Nations from the Soviet block

Be willing to look – and I speak to all of the nations who were part of the Soviet block – be willing to look at your national history and identity. Be willing, as the spiritual people, to try to identify what is your national self-image. Do you see yourselves as victims, as many of those who were part of the former Soviet block did and still do? Do you see yourselves as victims of an outer force?

Do you have a sense that there is no point in us really making decisions or determining our own destiny because we cannot? We never know when something bad is going to happen from the outside that is going to overrule all the decisions we make. This kind of consciousness you can look at as spiritual people. You can identify it, you can make the calls on it. You can, first of all, look at it in yourself, how has this has affected your life, how this has affected your self-image, the way you look at yourself, your worthiness of what you can and cannot do. Look at it and then throw away that old coat.

Let it go into the fire of Archangel Michael, the fire of Astrea, the fire of Saint Germain. Let it just burn, as you shortly will see the wood burn in the midsummer fires. Go to these midsummer fires and then, in the coming days, meditate with me on what is your national identity. Then, as you look at the fire, visualize how you take that national identity, that old overcoat, and you throw it on the bonfire and you watch it be consumed by the physical flames. Behind it you watch the spiritual flames consume it in all four octaves of the physical realm.

A few spiritual people can change a nation

My beloved, so much service can be performed by a few spiritual people who identify these national mindsets and will decide to let them go. You would not believe the effect this can have on a nation. There are examples from history, my beloved, where one person shifting his or her consciousness has changed the equation for an entire nation because other people saw it, saw that there was an alternative. They suddenly saw the limitations they had been putting upon themselves and they also let go of the old overcoat.

My beloved, you are enough people in this room to change the nation of Estonia. It does not take so many. In fact, one person can, as I said, change an entire nation. I do not say this to over-inflate your egos because, again, you know what the ego does and you see how the ego works. You also need to see the opposite polarity of the ego that always wants to put you down and make you not acknowledge your potential as a spiritual being in embodiment. That potential is to work with the ascended masters so that we can provide the power that you do not have. You provide us the open door that we do not have in any other way than people using their free will and being willing to change themselves first, rather than focusing on forcing other people to change, as so many people do.

I do not want to put a burden upon you, my beloved. I do not want you to feel obligated or feel that this is so important that now you have to go out and be frustrated about how you do this. I just want you to realize how much of a service you can give by shifting your own consciousness gradually and by finding a way to have that inner silence where you just experience our love. There is a service that is active and outgoing. It is important, but there is also the inner service that is often not recognized because the outer mind sees it as passive and therefore not as valuable. It is equally valuable to have that inner experience and some of you know this because you know how to do this. You have already found your own way to be silent and you hold a balance, and many times you do not dare to acknowledge how valuable this is.

I say again: Meditate on your own heart flame, meditate on the heart flame of your nation and all of the people living in your nation. Then, by just experiencing the heart flame, letting it shine through you, you are actually helping to shift the consciousness of your nation upwards. Other people will discover it. Maybe they will discover it through song and dance. Many people have already found it through song and dance in Estonia and the other Baltic nations.

By a few spiritual people being more conscious of this, you can help shift these people into a more intense experience, a more conscious recognition. Then, within a short period of time, a nation can dare to be more bold in acknowledging: “We have something to offer on the world stage. We do not need to hide this behind this rough outer facade, we can dare to acknowledge who we are and be who we are.”

How do you ascend? By daring to acknowledge who you are as a spiritual being and that is all I really want for any of you. With this, I seal you in the love of the mother that transcends any love on earth.

I am the Ascended Master Mother Mary and I have earlier given you what you might call the Alpha aspect of what I want to bring forth today. I brought you an overall idea in order to provoke a reaction. Not so much from you who are here but from the collective consciousness. By you being here, by you discussing it, you have become the open doors whereby I can release the Omega action, which may help the collective consciousness rise above this issue—or it may not as the choices will be. As Master More likes to say: “Let the chips fall where they may,” for we must sometimes give a teaching and then allow people to do with it as they want.

Would you like to be free from Russian influence?

I speak into the collective consciousness of not only Estonia and the Baltic countries but any country that was influenced by or occupied by the Soviet Union. The question I put before you is: “Are you happy that you are more free from Russian influence than you were during Soviet times?”  If the answer is: “No, we would like to have more Russian influence in our country,” then I have nothing further to say to you. I suggest you go talk to Vladimir Putin, and I am sure he can make you an offer you cannot refuse.

If on the other hand the answer is: “Yes, we are happy not to have as much Russian influence,” then my next question is: “Would you like to be completely free from Russian influence?” If the answer to that is: “Yes, we would like to be completely free,” then I put before you a simple fact. You have achieved a physical freedom from the Soviet Union and thereby from Russian influence but that is only the physical component. You will not be truly free of anything until you are free from it in the emotional, mental and identity levels of your minds, whereby I mean your individual minds and the collective mind of your country.

You may not have the direct physical influence that you had during Soviet times. But all countries who were influenced by the Soviet Union are still carrying the past with them. You have not freed yourself from this influence in the three higher levels of the mind. The main reason you have not freed yourself is very simple, my beloved. You will not be free of Russian influence until you completely and unconditionally forgive Russia and Russians for anything that has happened in the past.

The need to forgive Russia and Russians

What did we take people through during our conference in Holland? We pointed out the trauma left from the Second World War and the Nazi atrocities. We asked them to forgive unconditionally because only by unconditionally forgiving will you be free in your own mind.

Forgiveness is most important at the emotional and mental levels. As long as you have a strong feeling of animosity, anger or hatred towards another group of people, you are obviously not free from those people because you are constantly influenced by these fear-based emotions. Look at the Middle East and how this has been going on for thousands of years where the fear-based emotions, the anger and the hatred against another race has caused conflict after conflict. Ask yourself very simply: “If fifty years of Soviet occupation or influence from the Soviet Union was not enough for us, then how much longer do we want to carry these feelings with us?”

I am an ascended master. I have no need to make you do or not do anything. I only have a desire to set you free and if you desire to be free, I must tell you that the only way to be free is to be free in your mind. The only way to be free in your emotional mind is to let go of these feelings and the only way to let go of the feelings is to forgive. There is no other way.

Being mentally free of other people

The same in the mental body where you can have anger, you can have mental arguments for what happened, what these people did to us, why they did it and why they should not have done it. You can have this intellectual, mental almost a hatred as well against other people always trying to find fault, not being willing to see anything positive about these other groups of people.

Again, this is a burden that you are carrying with you and that is affecting you all of the time so you are not free. They may not be physically dominating you, but they are dominating you emotionally and mentally. If this is what you want, I humbly bow to your free will. If it is not what you want, then I am ready to offer you all kinds of help to raise yourself above it. Again, we hope that the spiritual people will be the first ones to raise yourselves above that old mindset.

What I said earlier was that the only way out is to tune in to your heart flame and then feel the resonance between your heart flame and that of other people. Then you can see beyond the outer characteristics. On a mental and identity level, you need to realize that the human mind has a tendency to generalize and to judge. You say to yourself: “Russia came in and occupied our nation for fifty years and committed all these atrocities.” I am not in any way denying or making light of the atrocities committed. I am only pointing out the choice that you face: Whether you want to carry this with you or rise above it.

The tendency to generalize

You say: “Russia did this to us, the Russians did this to us” and then you say: “Russians are like this, Russians are like that, Russians do this, and Russians do that.” You think that all Russians are a certain way. This is the mindset that blocks communication between people. Now you are no longer treating each other as individuals but you are generalizing. When you meet a certain person from another group, you are not looking at that person as an individual. You are generalizing: all Russians are like that, all Jews are greedy and money-hungry.

Then you think that you can treat the individual based on your judgment of the group and this is ultimately what led the Nazis to send the Jews to concentration camps. It is ultimately what led the Russians, the leaders and those executing their actions, to send so many of your own countrymen to concentration camps. You don’t treat people as individuals, but judge them as a group that is different from yourself. Therefore, you can treat them differently than you would treat those of your own group. This is a consciousness.

It is perfectly true, my beloved, that the Russians who occupied the Baltic nations and those of Eastern Europe had that consciousness, had that attitude towards you. It is perfectly true that some still have it, but the question for you is, do you want to be free of it or do you want to carry it with you?

Freedom begins in your own mind

If you want to be free of it, you have to realize a very simple fact. Your freedom has to be won in your mind. There is no other way you can be free than being free in your own mind. If you say: “I will change my mind when these other people change,” then you will never be free because you are letting the freedom of your own mind depend on the choices of other people.

If you want to be free in your mind, you have to decide that there is no outer condition that your freedom depends upon. It depends on only the choices you make. Then you say to yourself: “I want to be free of this state of consciousness, that these other people have used against me, the way that I can be free is not to change the other people because I cannot. The way I can be free is to change myself so that I raise myself above that state of consciousness.”

My beloved, 2000 years ago my son Jesus told all people: “Love your enemies, judge not that you be not judged, do unto others what you want them to do unto you.” Why did he tell people this? Because he also wanted to set people free and he knew exactly what I have just told you. What is the measure of whether you are free?

You nation’s Divine plan

Look at this country, Estonia, or any country. How do you Estonians become free from the Soviet times, from the Soviet influence or from Russian influence if you want to see it that way? You do understand that as a small country you cannot change Russia and Russians. They are beyond your influence. What can you change? You can change yourself.

That means you have to change the way you look at Russians and their consciousness. How do you measure whether you have succeeded in making that shift? It is very simple my beloved. When you no longer treat the Russians the way they have treated you, then you are free from their consciousness.

This is the brutal reality of life on planet earth. It applies not only here, it applies everywhere in the entire world. There is not one group of people for whom this does not apply. If you want to be free of a state of consciousness forced upon you by others, you must treat them differently than they are treating you. Thereby, you demonstrate that you, no matter what they do to you, will continue to treat them according to the state of consciousness you want to have. When you can do this over and over again, then you are free. Until you can do this, you will not be free.

Why am I giving this dictation in this country? Because I know your heart flame and I know that when you reconnect to that love, you can meet this challenge. I am not asking you to do what is impossible. My beloved, I fully understand that there is not a family in Estonia who has not had someone taken off to concentration camps. I understand – I completely accept, understand and appreciate – that what I am asking you is not an easy task. But it is a task that you are capable of and that you chose in your national Divine plan. I am only reminding you of what you have chosen because you collectively decided that you wanted to once and for all raise yourselves above that old outworn state of consciousness.

I am not forcing anything upon you that you have not already chosen. Grant you, not everybody in Estonia has chosen this, but a majority of the people embodying in Estonia at this time have chosen to agree with this national Divine plan before you took embodiment. This is a reminder. I am not asking you to do anything that you did not want to do when you had the higher awareness you had before you came into this lifetime. Therefore this is possible, it is do-able.

There are many other nations that were part of the Soviet block who have similar, although in some cases individual aspects, of their Divine plans as a nation. I am reminding you what you have chosen, what you are capable of. Then I once again leave you with this question: “Do you want to be free of Russian dominance of your nation?” Then I have given you the keys to that freedom.

I thank you for the opportunity to speak this in the physical. I say: “There is no nation who was part of the former Soviet Union for whom this message does not apply.”

Ascended Master Mother Mary through Kim Michaels, May 25, 2015. This dictation was given at a conference in Holland.

I AM the Ascended Master Mother Mary. I come filled with gratitude for your presence, for your coming together, for the work you have performed. Truly a very significant clearance of the European continent has taken place in all four octaves, and as you have made the calls, much energy has been transformed. Many dark beings, many fallen beings, have been removed, and this has been a very significant clearance. It is, of course, the Alpha action where you call into action the Ascended Host to remove the darkness and bring the light. As the Divine Mother, I, of course, also see the Omega aspect. I truly see how many people embodied on the European continent are suffering because in past lives they experienced some of the incredibly traumatic events that have taken place here. 

You have made calls on the wars of Europe, but there have been so many other events that have traumatized people, created wounds in their souls, split their souls, so that they often have soul parts in many different countries. Many have been soldiers and have been killed on various battlefields and may have soul parts that are still trapped there. Even though much darkness has been removed, this does not mean that the people are healed. Thus I come to elicit your help in performing a healing action for the people of Europe.

Healing the souls of Europeans

This can, of course, be turned into an invocation that you can give as an invocation on your own. But for this particular purpose I ask you to remain silent, I ask you to close your eyes, and I ask you to visualize as you hear me speak. What we will do is go through all of the countries of Europe, and I will make certain calls for the healing of the people and for the return and integration of any soul parts. I ask you, as best you remember European geography, to all put your attention on that one country I am mentioning. I know that you are from many different countries, and I know you have a stronger affinity with your own country, but there is great value in all of you together at the same time putting your attention on one country.

I now call for the divine healing of the souls of all people who embody in Norway. I call for the return of all soul parts, and I call for these soul parts to be integrated so the people can be whole in their lower beings, and therefore be more free to integrate with their higher beings. I call for the healing of those souls who have the potential to embody the flame that Norway holds for the earth.

I now call for the healing of all souls who embody in Sweden. I call for the return of their soul parts, for them to be integrated, and for them to be whole so they can find their way to manifest their divine plans and to bring the gift that they are here to bring, and that the country of Sweden can bring to the world. 

I call for the healing of all souls who embody in the country of Finland. I call for the return of their soul parts, for them to be integrated so that the people can be whole, to flow with the Holy Spirit and bring forth that gift that is theirs to bring to this planet.

I call for the healing of all souls who embody in the country of Denmark. I call for the return of their soul parts, for them to be integrated so that they can be whole, to lock in to the Mother Flame and bring that unique gift that Denmark can bring to the nations.

I call for the healing of the souls of all people who embody in the country of Estonia. I call for the return of their soul parts, for them to be integrated so that the people can be free to bring that gift, that flame, that Estonia can bring to the people of the world.

I call for the healing of the souls of all people who embody in the country of Latvia. I call for the return of their soul parts, for them to be integrated so the people may be whole and be in attunement with their higher selves, and bring that gift to the world that is theirs to give.

I call for the healing of the souls of all people who embody in the country of Lithuania. I call for the return of their soul parts and for their integration so that the people will be whole and be able to know and bring their gift to the world.

I call for the return of their soul parts and their integration so that they will be free to hold that Flame of the Divine Feminine for this continent.

I call for the healing of all children on the European continent, those who have in past lives been killed by war or other atrocities in their childhood, without receiving the opportunity to grow into adulthood, and who thus carry scars in their souls. I call for the return of their soul parts and their integration so that they will be free to be the Divine Child in embodiment and to have that innocence of the childlike mind returned to them.

I call for the healing of all of the gnomes in the physical elemental kingdom over the European continent. I call for them to be healed, to be freed of their burdens that they may be able to fulfill their task of service to human beings.

I call for the healing of all of the undines of the water element over Europe, that they may be healed and be whole and be free to give their service to human beings. 

I call for the healing of the sylphs of the air over the European continent. I call for them to be whole, that they may be able to give service to humankind.

I call for the healing of the fiery salamanders of the identity realm over the European continent. I call for them to be whole that they may be able to fulfill their highest service to mankind.

Ascended Master Mother Mary through Kim Michaels, May 25, 2015. This dictation was given at a conference in Holland.

My beloved hearts, you have now seen a very practical demonstration of the challenges you all face in the physical octave. Things do not always go in the ideal way. There are things that disturb you, that disturb your sense of what should or should not happen. This ties in with the dictation you have heard now again of what I want to say at this conference.

There are times where you cannot fix what went wrong in the physical octave, so you just have to forgive and move on as if it had never happened. Look at the continent of Europe. Look at the many wars and conflicts. Look at the many people who have been hurt. As we have said, their souls stretch back in time to when they received that original hurt, or another trauma in some war or as the result of whatever they have been exposed to. Whatever happened in the past cannot be fixed. It cannot be changed. It cannot be repaired. It cannot be undone.

How the past can be undone

Ah, but it can be undone! Not in the physical. But, you see, the physical moment of when something happened to you in the past no longer exists. It has been undone by the passage of time. Many of you have come to look at time as something that is controlling your life because your daily life so much revolves around being certain places at certain times. But have you ever considered that in an unascended sphere time is a gift? For no situation, however pleasurable or unpleasurable, can be fixed in space, because time moves on. There is no need to go back and repair what happened during the Second World War. Time has moved on.

They say that time is the great healer, but it is not true. Time moves on, but healing comes from releasing, from forgiving the scars that are in your soul. You cannot undo the physical thing that happened – for example, during the Second World War on the European continent – but you can undo the scar in your own soul from being in embodiment at that time. When you undo it for yourself, you can then begin to help other people heal themselves also. You cannot heal these people for them. You can, however, free them from some of the energy. You can pull on their consciousness so that they can come to see what you see, and therefore see the value of letting go, and finally let go.

How to forgive

No amount of changes, no amount of actions, no amount of punishing those who harmed you, will ever heal you. The ultimate healer is the act of surrender, the act of forgiving. What does it mean to forgive? It means that you put the act of giving before the act of holding on. What does it mean to give? It means to let go and release it. Ownership means holding on, so only by forgiving – by giving up, by releasing the hurt, by releasing the desire to punish, by releasing the sense that this should not have happened – only by doing this, by releasing, can you be free from the past.

The past truly is not the past. You look at it with the linear mind, and you have created a linear time line. You say that in 1942 so and so many people were killed in this or that battle, and you think that this happened in the past. It did in the linear time line. The real effect that is lingering is the effect in people’s minds, in their souls, and that is not truly in the past, in the sense that it is separated from you. It truly is a part of that stretch of your soul that Saint Germain talked about. The importance of this is to realize that you can heal in the present anything that happened in the past—when you stop being unwilling to go into the feelings, to go into the hurt. And you can do this on behalf of other people.

During this conference you have, without perhaps consciously realizing it, gone into much of the pain that is in the collective consciousness on this continent of Europe. You have not been overwhelmed by it. You may have touched it. You may have sensed it. But you have come to that point of going through it, and when you go through it and come out on the other side and realize: “I am still here,” then you can release, and you can feel that release.

Some of you know that you have been killed in both the First and the Second World Wars or in other wars, and you have experienced that release. All of you can experience it personally, and all of you can actually experience the release on behalf of others. This does not mean that they release it in their own individual minds, but it does mean that there is a release in the collective mind. Therefore, by going through these exercises, you can indeed help the collective mind progress. You can help heal the collective mind.

A powerful matrix

Now this matrix that we have given you here, of playing part of a dictation and then giving a decree to the master who gave the dictation, is a very powerful matrix. [The participants had played part of Mother Mary’s previous dictation, then stopped the recording and given a section of her decree.] You can, of course, do it with a written dictation, but it is more powerful when you play the audio dictation and stop it and give the decree, play a little more and stop it and give another verse of the decree, and so on. This is a powerful matrix that you can repeat individually or in groups. You could even do it over the Internet if someone was willing to organize this.

It is a way of you forming the Omega polarity to the Alpha action of our releases whereby you anchor it in the physical in a different way. You form, you close, the figure-eight flow and send it back up to us whereby we can multiply it and send more. Truly, what you have done with this exercise is a very powerful, a very significant healing for many people who embody in Europe today, and who have been hurt by the many wars on this continent.

The feminine wisdom

You may look at Europe and wonder what is going to solve the present problems. Well, there are two things that will bring forth a solution to the present problems in Europe. One is a healing of the individual and the collective psyche. Many of the problems you see in Europe are born from the fact that people have been scarred in past lives or in this life, and therefore they cannot overcome that sense of being hurt, of being incomplete, of being somehow flawed, and upholding some kind of animosity against another group of people. Many times they do not know why, but it is because these people hurt them in a past life. Although they do not have the conscious memory, it still lingers in their four lower bodies that these people cannot be trusted, that these people should somehow be punished. This is a major conflict in many of the problems. It is a major reason for many of the problems that you see in Europe.

The other one, the other factor that could bring forth a solution, is something we have not, until now, talked much about, but which we will talk about more in the future. That is the feminine wisdom, the wisdom of the Mother. You have the concept in Christianity of the divine Sophia, which represents the wisdom of the feminine. The problem with this concept, both in Christian context and in other contexts, is that people tend to mix up the Divine Feminine, the Divine Feminine wisdom, with women in physical embodiment. They tend to think that feminine wisdom is restricted to women, those who are in a physical body.

Of course, as we have taught you, the Conscious You is beyond male and female. You can embody as a male in one embodiment and as a female in another. You need to step up to a higher concept and realize that the feminine wisdom of which I speak is not confined to the sex of the body. It is a condition of the Conscious You and the I AM Presence. We may say that the I AM Presence stores the divine blueprint for your individual being, and that blueprint is the Divine Father, the Divine Masculine, the Alpha aspect. What then is the Divine Mother, the Divine Feminine wisdom? What is the Omega aspect? It is what we have called your causal body. Your causal body stores all of your positive experiences from your embodiments on earth, and therefore it contains this database of experiences of knowing how the material universe works, how the Mother realm works.

Many people on earth have forgotten this wisdom and are not using it, primarily because the fallen beings, after they started embodying on earth, have done everything they could to put down not only women but also the feminine aspect of wisdom. Why have they done this? Well, they have done it partly because they always do this, because they hate the Mother realm, the physical octave. They feel they are in the unascended sphere, where the Mother realm is dense, as a punishment from God because they were thrown out of heaven, as they see it. As we have explained, they were simply making choices and could not follow the ascending spiral of the universe, so they confined themselves to the unascended sphere. As a result of this, they hate the material realm, they hate the Mother, and they put her down.

ALL: “Mother Mary, I love you. Mother Mary, I love you. Mother Mary, I love you. Mother Mary, I love you. Mother Mary, I love you.”

My beloved hearts, I am indeed the Ascended Master Mother Mary.

I…love…you.

I love you, each and every one of you. Can you believe that I love you?

SEVERAL: “Yes.”

Can you all believe that I love you?

ALL: “Yes.”

Can you truly believe that I love you?

ALL: “Yes.”

Can you believe with your heart and not with your mouth that I love you?

ALL: “Yes.”

Then answer me in your heart and not with your mouth. It is so easy to say the things you are expected to say, to do the things you are expected to do, to feel the things you are expected to feel, to think the thoughts you are expected to think and to see yourself as what you are expected to think you are.

Loving yourself

You can believe that I love you. You can feel that you love me. You can, some of you, feel my love for you but the big question that I put before you tonight is: “Can you love yourself? Can you truly love yourself? Can you love your self, not yourself?”

Do you see the need to make a distinction? You all think of yourself as yourself. You need to realize that there is an outer personality, an outer self and there is the inner being, the inner self. Then you can begin to accept that you can love your self, not the outer personality but the self that you are. Why do I ask you to make this distinction? Because so few people in the world and certainly so few people on the European continent make the distinction between the outer self and the pure self, the pure being. Why do they not make this distinction? Because they have been programmed over many, many lifetimes by the fallen beings not to make this distinction.

What is a fallen being?

What is the characteristic of a fallen being? They cannot make the distinction between the outer self and the real self. They are identified with the outer self, the separate self. If they were able to make the distinction, they would know they are not the outer self, they would know they are part of the One Self of God. Therefore, they would not be completely trapped in the fallen consciousness.

They want all of you to see yourselves as they see themselves. This is the definition of the spiritual false hierarchy, the so-called power elite. These are beings who long ago rejected the idea that God loves them, I could appear to such beings and tell them that I love them but they would not be able to accept it. If they were to accept it, they would be transformed by my love. They do not want to be transformed so their only option is to reject my love.

What have they done to you? They have made you believe that my love is conditional, is conditioned upon you living up to certain conditions that they have defined. Thereby they have made themselves god because they have said: “We are capable of defining the conditions that even God must obey before he gives love to the human beings in embodiment on earth.” This is all a lie, is all an illusion but how will you see this? How will the people of Europe see this when their leaders for so many centuries have been telling them something different?

You of course have started to see this. I am well aware of this but what I want to point out to you is that there are still pockets in your being – and this goes for all of you with no exception, including the messenger who is speaking these words – you have pockets in your being where you cannot fully love yourself. This is what I would like to address.

Does God love the outer self?

Now I have had you make the distinction between the inner self and the outer or the separate self. We do this for a reason because we realize that because of the heavy programming we cannot start you out having you love the outer self. You have been so programmed, so conditioned, to think that God’s love is conditional that you think you could not possibly love the outer self, that God could not possibly love the outer self.

You look at me as Mother Mary, as an ascended being, as the representative of the Divine Mother and in your minds you elevate me to being above you either in position or at least in consciousness. In a certain sense I am above you because I hold a position in the cosmic hierarchy that is higher than any unascended being can hold. I also have ascended so my consciousness is higher. I am not higher in the sense of the fallen beings and their value judgments. I am one with the One Mind, the All. You are one with that One Mind, but you have been programmed by those who deny this reality to think that you are not and so you elevate me in your minds.

You may look at the idea that I hold the immaculate concept for you. You may feel or think that I look at the highest possible vision, at your highest potential and how you would be in the fullness of your Christhood and this is what I see and this is what I love. Many of you have an often unrecognized desire to hide aspects of your human self from me. You think that if I saw that aspect of the human self, then I could not love that human self. You might even think that I would condemn you or reject you or scold you or spank you or however you see the mother. What I would like to do in this discourse is to challenge the view that you have of me and of yourself.

How you look at the outer self

It is true that you have to start out by realizing that you are more than the outer self, the outer personality. You have to start separating yourself from that outer personality. That is how you connect to your higher self. Most of you have started this process, some of you have made good progress on this process so what I give you here is the next step up. This is where you start looking at the outer self differently. You do not look at it as an enemy of your spiritual growth, you do not look at it as something so bad, evil or impure that I would condemn you for having it.

It is perfectly valid that we have given you the impression that your ego is opposing your spiritual growth, and it is something you need to get beyond, to transcend. We have in earlier teachings given you the concept of the “dweller on the threshold” that needs to be bound and slain. These are all valid concepts. I am not here invalidating anything said previously, but I am pointing out to you that in the process of progressive revelation, in the process of a progressive spiritual path, there are stages.

There comes a point where you need to question the teaching that you have used at a lower level of the path. It is not that you come to see it as wrong or invalid, but it is that you realize that any teaching given in words can only have certain limitations. It can so easily be interpreted in ways that can only take you so far on the path. It is as if that teaching can take you to a certain level but it cannot take you beyond that level. It can actually become a closed circle that keeps you at a certain level.

What I want to give you is a new way of looking at yourself, your outer self and your inner self. You may have situations in your daily life where you get upset over certain things. You may get irritated, you may get angry, you may be afraid, you may have other patterns. You feel that this is not your highest potential, this is not the way you ideally should be. You feel that you would rather that I did not see you in those situations.

I am the Ascended Master Mother Mary! Consider for a moment the question: “What is war?” War can be said to be the antithesis of life. Then, what is life? Life is an opportunity to expand self-awareness.

When you look at a human life, one physical body, it may seem insignificant when you consider the amount of people that are in embodiment right now, the amount of people that have been in embodiment in the past and have died, and how easily people can die, how easily many people can die, how easily millions of people can die in a war. From a cosmic perspective, one life is not insignificant because that life represents a unique opportunity for that particular lifestream to expand its self-awareness. Given that this lifestream is a part of the whole, then that one life is significant for the whole.

The whole can be said to be what? Ultimately, it is God, and then it is all beings in the spiritual realm who form the hierarchal structure, the pyramid of life, out of which you are a part. You are one individual lifestream, and you are, so to speak, at the lowest level of the pyramid of life. You have volunteered and have decided to descend into the most dense sphere because you realize that the density of this sphere affords you an opportunity for growth, and thereby you are helping the whole to grow. This means that a physical life on planet earth has a cosmic significance because it is an opportunity for the whole to grow.

Thou shalt not kill

This is the real reason why the command was given: “Thou shall not kill.” This is the real reason why it is an unconditional command. This is the real reason why God or the ascended masters never defined any conditions based on which it becomes acceptable or even desirable to kill other human beings.

We realize that free will must be allowed to outplay itself. There are many things you can do to interfere with or force the free will of other human beings. I am not saying they are lawful. What I am saying is that the one thing that you definitely are not allowed to do according to the law is to take the life of a human being in embodiment. This not only interferes with free will but it also cuts off the opportunity to exercise free will for what would have been the remainder of that lifetime.

It is not that it is lawful to force others, but as long as they are in embodiment, they still have the opportunity to make certain choices that they will no longer have once the physical body dies. The soul and the lifestream lives on, of course, and it can still grow even though it is not in a body. It can still make choices based on that embodiment, even based on the way it died, but it is not the same opportunity as it would have been to remain in embodiment.

I am fully aware that hardly anyone on this planet has grown up with an awareness of what I have just told you. Most religions do not even give you this awareness and this understanding of the value of life, the purpose of life. Certainly, materialist philosophies of any persuasion cannot do so. This is why so many human beings on earth are susceptible to the lies, the deceptions, the manipulations of the fallen beings in the identity realm. These beings rarely work directly with human beings because most human beings are attuned to either the astral plane or the mental realm. There have been a few people in embodiment who have been able to attune to the fallen beings in the identity realm. They have received ideas directly from these beings in the identity realm, and they have been incorporated into various philosophies both political, religious and so-called scientific philosophies.

Ideas from fallen beings in the identity realm

There have been many of these. I will mention but a few. Christianity, of course, started with the teachings of Jesus. He had attained a very high level of Christhood and was able to receive pure teachings. The problem was that, because of the technology of the time, not everything that Jesus said was passed on accurately before it was written down. There were many things that Jesus could not say because of the limited awareness of the people at the time.

Nevertheless, Christianity did start out with a pure foundation, but that foundation was severely distorted after the formation of the Catholic Church. St. Augustine, who is considered one of the primary church fathers, was an example of a person who was able to tune in to the fallen beings in the identity realm. Other church fathers were able to do so to a lesser extent. The whole idea of original sin was not invented by Augustine but was channeled by Augustine, as we might say with a modern expression, by him tuning in to the fallen beings in the identity realm.

They were the ones who came up with the idea that human beings are fundamentally flawed because they were created that way by God. This is an idea that could not originate with God or with the ascended masters because we know the reality that I started out telling you. You are an extension of the entire hierarchy of self-aware beings that reaches all the way back to the Creator. Therefore, you cannot be created in a way that is fundamentally different from the rest of this hierarchy, and certainly the entire hierarchy is not made of flawed beings. We know that we were not created as sinners. Therefore, we also know that human beings are not created as sinners. You are created with free will and with a point-like sense of self-awareness, which you can then expand upon.

You understand that, in the original pure state and in the original vision of God, you would never descend into a state of consciousness where you could even entertain the idea that there was something wrong with you. It is entirely possible to start with a point-like self-awareness and expand it to the full God consciousness without ever going into the negatives of seeing yourself as wrong, flawed or a sinner. You can grow to full God consciousness by having an entirely positive experience. You start out with a certain self-awareness and you expand upon it, build on to it and spiral upwards without ever seeing yourself as having failed, as having made a mistake, as having sinned.

Consider rationally the reasoning of the fallen beings

There is no necessity for going into this negativity, my beloved. This is a complete invention of the fallen beings. It was invented in a previous sphere, but for earth it is focused in the beings in the identity realm. They are the ones who have come up with the even more subtle idea that something has gone wrong with God’s creation. This is their very operational idea, as we might say, their modus operandi. This is their primary idea. They truly, at least some of them, believe that there is a flaw in God’s design, that God somehow made a mistake. They also believe that someone needs to correct that mistake, and that someone is, of course, them.

Let me ask you to consider this logically and rationally, even though I realize there are some limitations to logic and reason. When you understand what the fallen beings are saying, you understand that the core of their argument relates to free will. The mistake that God made was to give self-aware beings free will. Beings with free will have the option to go against the growth process of the entire cosmos. They can choose to rebel against self-transcendence and the growth in consciousness. By giving beings free will, God gave them the potential to go into the duality consciousness and see themselves as separate beings, rather than connected to the whole. This is what the fallen beings say is the flaw in God’s design.

Now use a little bit of reason and logic here. Free will is free. The fallen beings are not disputing, at least not at the identity level, that you have free will. They are saying that it is the problem. If free will is truly free, as they do acknowledge, how can there be a mistake on God’s part? Yes, it is a potential that you can go into duality, but it is not a necessity. What God has truly done by giving you free will is that God has said: “The goal of life is to expand your self-awareness, but you decide how you do this.” We might say that, ultimately, the goal is to walk a path that leads from a point-like sense of self to an omnipresent sense of self. God has given you complete freedom as to how you walk that path, how you define your own path. Yes, you can choose to go into separation and duality. Yes, there are certain consequences of doing this. It becomes a self-reinforcing, closed circle. It is much more difficult to get out of it once you have gone into it, but you can get out of it. You can never quite lose the ability to step outside of your state of consciousness and attain pure awareness.

I have talked about the fallen beings who become almost completely trapped in a downward spiral. We of the ascended masters are not trapped in that downward spiral. We can confront them with the reality that there is something outside of their own spiral, and this gives them the opportunity to step out of it and to, thereby, walk the path back to oneness.

I am the Ascended Master Mother Mary. I come to discourse with you on what is happening in the mental realm, the mental octave, and how it relates to the creation of war.

In the astral plane, things are dominated by what I have called demons, entities or even the fallen beings who appear to be demons. Their primary goal is to steal energy to sustain themselves because they are constantly at a deficit. They are constantly in danger of running out of energy. Their secondary goal is to destroy everything that can possibly be destroyed.

The fallen beings in the mental realm

In the mental realm, you do not find what you will call demons in the same way as you find it in the astral plane. You do find beings that have been created by fallen beings and that are just like the computer programs that I have said form the core of the demons in the astral plane. The beings in the mental realm do not appear as demons because they are not outwardly angry. They are programmed to promote ideas and beliefs that appear to be benign, and they can be quite deceptive. There are many, many people in the world whose minds are taken over or dominated to some extent by these entities in the mental realm, and they do not realize this.

There are also many fallen beings in the mental realm, and they seek to control or dominate human beings in embodiment. The entities in the mental realm do what they are programmed to do and have no self-awareness. The fallen beings do have self-awareness, and they have a higher level of self-awareness than those in the astral plane. The primary goal of the fallen beings in the mental realm is to control human beings, and their primary means for attaining this control is to make human beings believe in ideas.

The ideas of the fallen beings in the mental realm

There are many types of ideas promoted by the fallen beings in the mental realm. There are the more obvious ones, such as a particular religion, philosophy, branch of science or political ideology. There are also some very subtle ideas that are not generally recognized as a particular philosophy. The most subtle idea promoted by the fallen beings in the mental realm is the concept that the ends can justify the means.

The fallen beings have defined what I have called the epic struggle between good and evil, in whatever form good and evil are presented by a particular thought system. It follows from this that there is an overall end that needs to be achieved. This might be the establishment of an ideal society through a particular political ideology or even an economic philosophy. It may also be the establishment of God’s kingdom, either here on earth or in a higher realm, where all people have been saved and have entered that realm, rather than going to hell. Whatever the particular form may be, the idea is that the establishment of this ideal condition is more important than the individual human being.

There is an overall, collective goal that is more important than the individual human being. In its extreme form, this means that it is acceptable to kill individual human beings in order to achieve the collective goal. In more milder forms, you see societies that use various forms of force or control on individuals in order to achieve the collective goal.

There are many who will say: “But is it not necessary to keep the individual within the boundaries of the collective?” Well, yes and no, my beloved. What have I said before? The fallen beings create a condition, and then they present themselves and their ideas as the savior that can save people from the condition they have created. It is true that the human ego and the separate self can create chaos that makes it impossible to maintain a society. It is often portrayed by various philosophies that you only have two options: either you have a controlled society, or you have the total chaos of anarchy. These are not the only two options. They are the only two options in a dualistic system defined by the fallen beings, but they are not the only options.

The whole is more than the sum of its parts

Whenever you have two people together, a whole is created that is more than the sum of the parts. This is a basic idea that it is important to understand. You are created as an individual being. You have a divine, spiritual individuality anchored in your I AM Presence and you have individual free will right now focused in the Conscious You. You have an outer self, your four lower bodies, that may have a personality that differs from the individuality in your I AM Presence.

The whole idea of co-creation is that you are not a separate being. You are a co-creator. This has two aspects: the Alpha, the Omega, the vertical and the horizontal. The Alpha is that you are a co-creator with your I AM Presence and with the ascended masters who created the earth; the Omega is that you are a co-creator with other co-creators. You have individual, co-creative abilities. You can reach up to your I AM Presence and allow your I AM Presence to express itself through you. You can be the open door for the Presence, and thereby you can co-create alone. Two people can create more together than any of the two could create alone. More importantly, what two people can create together is more than double what they could create alone. What three people could create together is more than triple what they could create alone.

Vertical and horizontal oneness

“Whenever two or three are gathered in my name, there I am in the midst of them.” These words were spoken by Jesus, but they are really an expression of the universal Christ mind, the universal Christ mind that multiplies everything. When two co-creators come together in harmony (because each of them has a certain connection to the I AM Presence), then the Christ mind will multiply their creative efforts beyond what they can bring forth directly from their I AM Presences. For this to happen, there must be a certain harmony between two or more people. This is why you get the consideration of the individual balanced with the collective.

In the original design, the harmony between two or more people is not achieved horizontally; it is achieved vertically. If you have established a certain connection to your I AM Presence, then you know that you are not a separate individual. You are part of a larger whole. If your partner in co-creation has also established that connection, then the two of you will know and experience a certain oneness between you.

The horizontal harmony and oneness between you will be a natural effect of the vertical oneness. You will both be open doors for the flow of the universal Christ mind and the Holy Spirit. This flow of the Spirit, this River of Life, will ensure that there is balance between the individual and the collective. Once you have the vertical oneness, you do not have to use force to establish horizontal oneness or harmony.

This is something that the fallen beings cannot do because they do not have the vertical oneness, the connection to the I AM Presence. They have blocked that oneness, and their only way of achieving any kind of harmony is to achieve it horizontally. Of course, the fallen beings are separate beings. This means they can never come together with each other as equals. They are always playing the game of establishing a rank. There always has to be someone who is the leader, who is on top, who is the most powerful.

This is a safety mechanism that makes sure that the fallen beings could never take ultimate control over the earth. Whenever one dictator gains power, there is sure to be another who will oppose that first one so they can never really come together. You will see, for example, that even though Mao and Stalin were contemporaries and both claimed to be working for the spread of communism, they could not cooperate. This is the way it has always been with the fallen beings.

There may be temporary alliances where each believes they are getting something and each believes they are manipulating the other. This is not the kind of oneness that activates the flow of the Spirit and the multiplication of the Christ mind. Even when the fallen beings manage to cooperate, they can still only make use of the energies that are already in the material spectrum. They cannot activate the multiplication of the Law of the Holy Spirit.

I am the Ascended Master Mother Mary! I wish to discourse with you on the hidden agendas of the fallen beings. These agendas are the true cause of war. All of the outer reasons for war given on this planet are simply camouflage that are designed to hide the true cause.

It is important for you, as a spiritual person, to understand the incredible difference between the worldview you have been given as you were growing up, and then the reality of how the world actually works. The official worldview of how life works on earth and how history has progressed and what has been the cause of the progression of history is woefully inadequate. This lack of knowledge of what is really happening on this planet is not due to innocent ignorance; it is a produced ignorance, a state that has been produced by the fallen beings deliberately.

Artificially produced ignorance

The equation is very simple. If you are feeling pain in your foot and you know the cause is that you have stepped on a nail that has gone through the sole of your shoe, then what would you do? Well, you would take the shoe off and pull the nail out. If you are feeling pain in your foot and you either do not know what is causing it or you believe there is nothing you could do to avoid it, then you cannot take this simple measure, can you?

Human beings are not stupid. If they are feeling pain or discomfort and they discover the cause of it, then they will do something about it. Many human beings on this planet are feeling the pain of the existence of war and conflict. Many people would like to do something about it. If these people could be helped to understand that the real cause of war and conflict is the presence of the fallen beings, then they would instantly stop following the fallen beings. This is the simple equation: The fallen beings cannot keep their power if people see them and see them for what they are. They can keep their power only through deception, through a produced ignorance. For some people, this ignorance is a willful ignorance. They really do not want to know that the fallen beings exist because they do not want to change their lives.

There is a relatively small percentage of the people on earth (and with that I mean less than ten percent) who are in what we might call an unconscious alliance with the fallen beings. They are not themselves fallen beings, but they gain an advantage from obeying the fallen beings. They gain a sense of power, a sense of privilege, or in some cases even the advantage that they are allowed to kill, hurt, torture or control other human beings. They gain a sense of power from doing this. These people do not want to know what is really going on, yet they are only a minority. The eighty percent of the general population would free themselves from the fallen beings if they knew what was really happening.

The top ten percent of the most spiritual people are the ones who are more open, but some of them have been diverted by the fallen beings into what I talked about, namely the idea that “it’s all good” and that they don’t need to do anything other than send out positive vibrations. In a sense, we could say that there are some among the top ten percent who also have a willful ignorance. They want to keep believing that they can continue doing what they are doing and that they do not need to change their lifestyle or their outlook on life by acknowledging the presence of dark forces.

You are not in opposition to the fallen beings

It is no easy task for the ascended masters to enlighten humankind to the reality of this planet. That is why we need those of you who are open to our teachings to make the calls. We can then open up pathways in the collective consciousness where more and more people can begin to awaken. They can awaken without being taken into these extremes of fanaticism that you often see as a result of people studying the many conspiracy theories and other extremist views that are out there.

I know well that there are those who will say that what I am presenting in this book and what we are presenting in other books is an extremist view. Why do I know this? Because I have studied the fallen beings for a long time, and I can tell you that there is nothing new in the fallen mindset. It is very predictable how they will respond whenever we seek to enlighten humankind.

What I wish to talk about next is the need for the spiritual people on earth to stop seeing themselves as being in opposition to the fallen beings. You are not the opponents of the fallen beings. There is a very fine and delicate balance to be found as you awaken yourself from the collective state of sleep concerning the fallen beings. You do not go into rebelling against them or fighting them. This we have explained in great detail in the book, Warrior of Peace, so I will not repeat it here. I do wish to emphasize that it is extremely important for you that you do not go into the blind alley of thinking that you have to fight the fallen beings. Also, do not go into feeling overwhelmed.

Removing war is a fully doable task

There is no reason to feel overwhelmed because, as I have explained before, the fallen beings have limited power. We of the ascended masters have unlimited power and can consume and deal with anything that the fallen beings can come up with, as long as you give us the authority to do so. The whole idea of this book is to get a critical mass of people to give us the authority and to invoke the energy that will allow us to remove these fallen beings and the completely unconscious demons and entities from this planet.

There is absolutely nothing hopeless about the task we are facing. There is no reason to feel overwhelmed at all. It is a perfectly doable task. It is perfectly doable for you to live a relatively normal lifestyle and to give the invocations and decrees that will give us the authority to use our power to remove the fallen beings. It is a doable task. Had it not been a doable task, we would not have given it to you because we have no desire to overwhelm our students. Unfortunately, our students do not always understand this, and they overwhelm themselves when they come in contact with our teachings.

This is the danger of giving an outer teaching that can be read on the Internet or in books. We cannot quite control who will find this teaching. It is possible that people can find it while they are ready at inner levels but not ready at the level of the outer mind. This is what causes some students to go into what I would almost call a state of fanaticism because of our teachings. They become so “fired up” about fighting the fallen beings by giving decrees and invocations that they overdo it and become unbalanced in their zeal just like you see so many other people who, for religious or political reasons or even other reasons, can become so zealous that it is not healthy. This I have no desire to encourage, and that is why I again emphasize that what we are giving you is a doable task.

Your worldview and the fallen worldview

I have earlier described what happens on a battlefield when you can see the entities and demons on the astral plane and the fallen beings in the mental and identity realms. I wish to speak again about this from a slightly different perspective. I wish to speak about it from the perspective of what the fallen beings or the demons get out of war.

This will help you understand why there is such a difference between the causes of war presented by the official worldview and then the deeper causes of war I am presenting to you. Many of the more spiritual people have been fooled by the official view of war. They have been fooled because they do not understand the fundamental difference between how you yourself look at life and how the fallen beings look at life.

It is very common for human beings to have an almost unconscious assumption that everybody else is like them and thinks, feels and looks at life the same way. If you are a spiritual person, you see that war is not desirable, and you assume that most people want to stop war. You may fall prey to the common misconception, promoted by the official worldview, that there are only a very few extreme people who deliberately want to create war.

You have all been taught about Hitler and other such extremists. You have been taught that they were particularly evil people and that was why they created war. You may have been taught about certain economic factors or political factors that cause people to go to war without really wanting to, but they feel they have to because they are threatened by some enemy outside themselves. You tend to think that it should be possible to stop war through rational means. Many of you have grown up with this sense that war is wrong, war should be avoided, and you assume that most people want to avoid it.

What I am seeking to show you here is that it is true that most people have a drive in their psychology that drives them towards wanting to avoid war. This I have explained, even as the programming of the body-mind for self-preservation and the preservation of the species. There is also your spiritual connection. There is within most human beings this desire, this drive, to stop war.

What you have not been given through the official world-view is the understanding that this drive can be set aside or overridden when people’s minds are taken over and controlled by beings in the emotional, mental and identity realms. What I want you to see in this discourse is that these beings in the three higher realms, as well as some fallen beings in embodiment, have no drive to stop war.

I am the Ascended Master Mother Mary. I wish to speak to you about another cause of war, we might say another justification for war. What I am seeking to help you see through the discourses in this book is that one can make a distinction between the causes of war and then the justification for war.

Much of what human beings would see as the causes of war, based on a superficial or materialistic view, are simply camouflage. They are the conditions that are used to justify going to war, but the real causes of war are at a much deeper level, namely in the minds and mindset of the fallen beings. This mindset I will address in a coming discourse, but for now, I wish to speak about one of the elements that are used to justify war, one of the elements that are used to get people to go to war. This element is the use of ideas. Ideas, of course, take many forms, but why is it necessary to use ideas to get people to go to war?

The complexity of the physical body

The worldview that we of the ascended masters seek to give you is that you are not human, material beings. You are spiritual beings who are inhabiting, on a temporary basis, a human, material body. This means that you do have the potential to take command over the body, to master the body. It also means that if you do not exercise this potential, the body may take command over you.

The human body is a very, very complex creation. You may have heard various figures of how there are more neurons in the brain than stars in the universe. There are many other such facts that can be used to describe how complex the human brain is. You may have heard how many cells there are in the body and how complex the different systems of the body really are.

It should be obvious that with such a complex machinery, there are certain rules or laws that are working in the body. The human body is an organism that can in some ways be compared to a machine controlled by a computer. When I talk about your four lower bodies or the four levels of your mind, I am talking about an identity body, a mental body and an emotional body. I am even talking about a level of the physical mind that is very much tied to how you, as a spiritual being, interact with a material body on earth.

There are elements of this soul vehicle that you take with you from lifetime to lifetime. Therefore, one can say that this soul vehicle is not produced by or part of the material body. There is also an aspect of the physical body you are wearing right now that is unique to this lifetime, to this body. This aspect is still a mind, although not a self-aware mind. It is so complex that one can compare it to one of these supercomputers that has taken on an almost human-like intelligence. I am not thereby saying that researchers or scientists will be able to create artificial intelligence, as many dream of doing. They will be able to create something that mimics it, but they will never be able to create life that has self-awareness, for self-awareness comes only from above.

The complex programming in the physical body

There is an aspect of the body that contains a very complex programming. This is programmed into the physical body. You can override this consciously, but for the vast majority of the people on this planet, they are not able to do this. What they can do is override the programming in an unconscious, unaware manner. They are overriding the programming, but they are not consciously aware of what they are doing. They have, so to speak, been tricked into overriding the programming. Where this plays into the understanding of war is that one of the deepest programmings in the human mind-body is that of survival.

You do, of course, have a programming aimed at preserving your specific physical body. If this program perceives a threat to the life of your body, it will do whatever necessary to preserve your body, including killing the body of another human being. This is self-preservation. For most people in the modern world this program rarely comes into action. It is not a program that controls your normal day-to-day behavior when you are not in a stressful or life-threatening situation. It simply lies dormant, as the program you have created for riding a bicycle only gets activated when you get on a bicycle.

There is another program that is aimed at preserving your species as a whole. This program is aimed at preserving the whole of the species rather than individuals. It is more important to preserve the species than a given individual because the species can survive without a particular individual, but if the species itself becomes extinct, then, of course, no more individuals can exist.

When the body’s programs clash

The human mind-body has two programs that can very easily clash with each other. There can be a conflict in the psyche of an individual when it comes to the entire concept of killing other human beings. You can be in a situation where there seems to be such a threat to the life of your body that you will kill another human being. There is a deeper more powerful program that prompts you not to kill other human beings in order to preserve the species.

Do you understand what I am saying? The human mind-body is programmed in such a way as to strongly discourage killing other human beings. This is a very deep and very powerful program in the body. When you add to this the fact that you are a spiritual being inhabiting a physical body, you see that, as long as you have some intuitive sense of being connected to a greater whole than yourself, then you have some sense of the oneness of all life. You may not use this expression consciously, but you do have a sense that life is a whole. If you see yourself as a spiritual being, you would not want to kill another human being because you realize that you are part of the Body of God and so is that other person.

There is a disconnect between the reality that I am explaining to you and a very popular idea that is floating around in the collective consciousness. This idea is in part based on the observation of history and in part based on the theory of evolution and its idea of the survival of the fittest, or as the popular saying is: “nature red in tooth and claw.” The idea is that, for the human species, killing is almost normal, almost natural. You must kill in order to survive. You may even have to kill those of your own species in order to survive. This idea is an idea—not a reality.

It is an idea created by the fallen beings and projected into the collective consciousness. Both your spiritual identity and the programming of the physical body make it extremely difficult for a human being to kill another human being. This is simply part of the self-preservation of the species that in many cases overrides the self-preservation of the individual.

War is not an individual conflict. If you are in a situation where your physical life is threatened, then the program aimed at preserving your physical body will kick in and may cause you to kill another human being. If you are a soldier and you are on a battlefield, then you may have your life threatened and the program may kick in and cause you to kill an enemy soldier who otherwise would kill you. The question is: “How do you ever get yourself from a normal human life to the rather extreme condition of being on a battlefield? What motivates you to go there? What prevents you from objecting to going there?”

The deeper, more powerful program that programs you not to kill other human beings works directly against the entire concept of war. In order to get human beings to engage in war, the fallen beings have had to find a way to neutralize the program that is aimed at preserving the species and to inflate the importance of the program that makes you kill in order to preserve yourself. The program aimed at preserving the species would say it is wrong to assemble an army and to attack another country because this works against the preservation of the human species. The fallen beings must find a way to neutralize this program and then over-inflate the individual preservation program so that you think that this other group of people, this other nation or this other race is a direct threat to your survival. Now it becomes acceptable or necessary to kill them.

Ascended Master Mother Mary through Kim Michaels, May 2, 2015.

I am the Ascended Master Mother Mary. In this discourse I will talk about another of the spiritual causes of war. This time I will talk about the quest for raw power. Although I have mentioned some of the aspects of the quest for power in my previous discourses, I want to give you more depth and detail.

When you look at history, you will see that there have been empires, there have been certain leaders, that have been driven by this quest to extend their power. Sometimes, it has been mixed with a quest for material gain. Other times, it has been mixed with the desire to gain territory, to conquer territory. In some cases, it has been mixed with the clever use of ideas, such as the desire to spread a certain religion or a certain political ideology. It has even been clothed in the seemingly benign quest for extending civilization.

Look at some of the leaders who have been driven by this desire for raw power, this quest to extend their power. You quickly see that even though they may seem to have great power over men or power to build empires, they are actually not free in themselves.

The spiritual realm and the material world

There is something you need to understand about what it means to be a human being in embodiment on earth. Earth is a quite dense planet. With this, I mean that the energies on earth are quite dense compared to the energies in the spiritual realm.

If you are a being who has some inner memory, some inner sense of the reality of the spiritual realm, then you will know that the energies on earth are quite dense. You will know and feel that everything you do in the material world is limited, that there is an opposition, that there is a resistance. It is difficult on a planet as dense as earth to have a free flow of creative energies because the collective consciousness opposes transcendence, which is the essence of creativity.

Where this is important is in understanding how the contrast between the freedom of the spiritual realm and the restrictions of the material realm can give rise to various desires. You may be mature enough to realize that your inner longing for something more is really a longing for the spiritual realm. You then direct your attention towards raising your consciousness and attuning it to the spiritual realm and also winning your ascension so you do not have to re-embody in the dense material world. When you do this, you will have a desire that cannot be fulfilled in the material realm because it will not be fulfilled until you exit the material realm permanently through the ascension. Nevertheless, it is not a longing that will be obsessive-compulsive. It will not swallow up your life. It will not prevent you from engaging in active life on earth or seeking the fulfillment of the desires you have concerning life on earth.

How longing for freedom can cause rebellion

There is an old tendency to say that your physical body and its desires are an enemy of your spiritual growth. This we of the ascended masters do not teach. What we do teach is the healthy balance where you do not allow the desires related to the material realm to run your life, to take over your life, to become insatiable desires. When you do have the inner memory that the goal of life is to ascend, then you can accomplish this fairly easily.

If you do not quite have the maturity to know that there is a spiritual quest, then it is possible that your inner knowing that there is something more than the earth can give you a desire for freedom, a desire to rebel against the restrictions you feel on earth. This is what you see in some revolutionaries, even in many of the young people who were part of what they call the sixties, the youth movement, the youth rebellion against authority.

These people had such a quest for freedom, but because they did not quite understand how to direct it towards raising their consciousness, they became ensnared by the desire to rebel against authority. They thought it was the outer authority, such as the institutions of society, that were restricting them. They did not understand that it was actually the denseness of the energies in the material realm that were the greatest restriction.

How extreme desires give rise to addictions

If you are at an even lower level of consciousness, you may still have some inner memory of the spiritual realm. This gives you a quest for infinity, for something beyond the finite world. Because you do not understand that this is a spiritual quest (a spiritual path, a raising of your consciousness) you direct it towards finding some ultimate fulfillment of the desires that relate to the material realm.

You will see many people in today’s world who are pursuing such an extreme fulfillment of desires. Look at how many people are allowing their lives to be swallowed up by the quest for material goods, material possessions. Look how many people are completely focused on making money, even to the point of making more money than they could personally spend for the rest of their lifetime. Look at how many people are pursuing the quest for sex, for sexual conquest. So many other of these desires can be taken to the extreme, and any time you take any desire related to the finite world and pursue it with the desire to gain something infinite through the fulfillment of a finite desire, then you will have an addiction.

An addiction is when you are seeking a goal that cannot be attained through the means you are using. A drug addict may be seeking some inner experience. During the 1960s, many of the people who could have been forerunners for raising the collective consciousness allowed themselves to be caught up in the drug culture. Their quest for freedom, their quest for spiritual experiences, was replaced by this misguided quest of seeking them through chemical experiences. Even though a chemical reaction in the brain can lead to a state of consciousness that is beyond your normal state of consciousness, this is not spiritual freedom. Spiritual freedom is when you attain a higher state of consciousness without any material means. You attain it through your inner growth in consciousness.

When you are seeking an infinite experience through finite means, you cannot ever reach the goal. You may have an experience that is beyond your normal level of consciousness, but your brain will quickly adapt to the introduction of this chemical substance. Now, it takes more chemical substance to have the same experience again, and this can go on, not indefinitely, but until your entire life is swallowed up in either being affected by these chemicals or longing to have the experience.

You may also pursue an infinite experience through sex, but again it becomes an addiction because you can never quite reach that ultimate experience. You are always chasing the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow. It is never quite enough, no matter how much sex you have or how intense it is. What I am seeking to point out here is that many people have this desire for something ultimate, something infinite, but when you seek to fulfill it through finite means, you end up in an addiction, whereby I mean your life becomes a self-reinforcing downward spiral that swallows up your attention and energy.

I am the Ascended Master Mother Mary. I come to discourse with you on another cause of war, which is war caused by the desire for material gain. This is a complex issue. There is not just one but many undercurrents. Beginning with the most simple one, you have throughout history seen many cases in which wars, or at least aggression on a larger scale, has been caused by the desire for physical plunder. You have seen many groups of people, from the Vikings to the Huns to the pirates, who have waged war or aggressive acts in order to physically plunder those who had greater wealth.

This has to some degree been fed by or spun off from the warrior culture. There has been this culture of educating young men to be good warriors. What did they do with their skills when there were no nations where you could have wars between nations? The warriors would sometimes go out and use their skill for material gain. This is the simplest cause of war over material wealth. There is a direct, visible link between the act of war and the plunder.

In the modern world, things have become much more complex. There is no longer always a direct, physical link – or at least not a visible link – between an act of war and the gain of material wealth.

Exposing the industry of war

On a more complicated but still fairly visible level, we can talk about what has been called the military-industrial complex. It is quite obvious that there are large corporations around the world that make money out of making the technology used for war. The so-called defense industry is huge. It has enormous political power in many countries. It has enormous power, either directly or through somewhat indirect means, in that it provides jobs for people. It also has enormous hidden power where it has bought influence through lobbying, bribes or whatever.

This needs to be exposed. It needs to be stopped. When you have a defense industry where the industry itself, the profit of the shareholders, the jobs of the employees, are dependent upon making war materials, then the industry wants to continue making war materials. Not only that, it wants to increase its profits by making more war materials, more sophisticated, more expensive weapons. This ties in with what I have already said, namely that there is no ultimate weapon that could ever be developed because everything has a counter measure.

There are many examples of how the military-industrial complex has presented a new weapons system to the politicians of one country or one side. They have deliberately only presented this weapons system, but from the very beginning that they developed their weapons system, they already knew

what the counter measure would be. They had plans for that also, but they are presenting only the one weapons system. They are presenting that this has some ultimate capability compared to existing weapons systems. They get the politicians to buy it because they think that this will give them an edge, perhaps, that it will give them the kind of superiority that might prevent a war.

Sometime later, the industry, perhaps through other companies with which they have no obvious connection, starts developing the counter measure. Now you have an arms race, whereas the promise of the first system was to end the arms race. This takes place over and over again, all in the name of profit. This, I trust, is easy to see. Companies make money on making war materials and other forms of technology used in war, and they sell it to the governments who are responsible for the armed forces.

This is an industry with many branches. There are companies that make money by providing food to the soldiers in the armies or cleaning the toilets on the army bases or doing a number of other things that are not directly related to building and selling war materials such as weapons. You see how big this industry is. You also see, I trust, that when we reach the goal – and my beloved, we will reach that goal – of ending war on this planet, then this entire war industry will disappear.

There are many people in today’s world, both those who are directly involved with the war industry but also the politicians who see that the jobs of their constituents depend on the war industry, who cannot even conceive of a world without such an industry. They will say: “Where will the jobs come from? How will we even survive without this industry?” I will, therefore, tell you how you will survive.

Prospering through the Law of Multiplied Return

I have talked about the cosmic mirror. You project out something, and the cosmic mirror reflects it back to you multiplied. The very simplest illustration of this principle is that you take one grain of wheat and put it in the ground. It grows to become a plant that provides twenty or more grains of wheat in return for the one you planted. This is the principle described by Jesus in his parable about the servants who were given talents. Two of them multiplied it. One of them buried it in the ground and did nothing with it. This describes the eternal principle of how the spiritual beings who have taken embodiment interact with the matter realm, the Mother realm.

You are the co-creators. When you take an action that is aimed at raising up the whole, then the matter realm will by law multiply your action. When you take an action that is not aimed at benefiting the whole, then the matter realm will also multiply your action. I know this can be difficult to understand, but you simply need to make a switch in your consciousness. Whatever you send out, will be returned multiplied.

If you send out something that is aimed at producing more for everyone, then you will get back a return that gives more to everyone. If you send out an impulse that is aimed at producing more for the few and producing less for the many, then you will receive back an action that actually takes from the whole. When you take a positive action, such as planting wheat in the ground, the matter realm will multiply this by producing many more grains of wheat than you put in the ground. There will be more grains of wheat available on earth. When you take an action that does not multiply, that does not benefit the whole, then the total sum of what is available on earth will be lowered.

Decreasing the total amount of wealth through war

If you have an industry that is aimed at producing goods that are not war materials but have a positive purpose, then that industry will create a return from the material universe that will increase the total amount of wealth available on earth.  If you have an industry that is aimed at producing war materials, then that industry will not generate a positive return from the matter realm. On the contrary, it will generate a return that will deplete the total amount of resources. You have heard the very old statement that, after having waged war for a time, people realized that it was enough, and they beat their swords into plowshares. When you produce plowshares and use them, you are increasing the total amount of wealth. When you produce swords and use them to kill, you are decreasing the total amount of wealth.

There are entire nations or states in the United States where the politicians believe that their nations or their states are dependent upon the military-industrial complex, the war industry. They will say: “How can our economy survive if we do not have this huge defense industry?” The reality is that the defense industry is not producing something that increases the total amount of wealth on earth. It is producing something that decreases that amount of wealth. When the war industry is redirected at spending its resources and ingenuity on producing something that is good for the whole, then the economy of that nation or that state will actually grow. There will be more jobs and more wealth produced when you abandon the military-industrial complex.

I know that this will be difficult to see and accept. I know that there will be a transition period that will seem somewhat chaotic. The fact of the matter is that the military-industrial complex is only producing jobs on a temporary basis. It is not producing an upward trend. If you look at the world today, you can see that there is much more wealth in the world than five hundred years ago. What can account for this increased wealth?

It is the fact that, through the increase of knowledge and understanding, people are now able to produce much more life-supporting activities than they were able to five hundred years ago. It is not the man-made production itself that has increased the wealth; it is the return current from the universe. With men, this is impossible, but not with God, for with God, all things are possible. When you put one grain in the ground, twenty is returned. When you take a simple action aimed at benefiting the whole, the return is much greater than your action. This is simply a natural law. There is no beating it. There is no circumventing it. You can create the illusion that you have circumvented it, but this will only be on a temporary basis.

The connection between money and war

This leads me into the topic of one of the more subtle connections between war and material gain or, rather, monetary gain. Many of you will be aware that there is a connection between war and money, but very few people on this planet understand this connection. The reason for this is simple. The people who understand the economy generally do not have a sophisticated spiritual understanding, and the people who have a spiritual understanding generally do not have a sophisticated understanding of money.

You cannot fully understand money without having a spiritual awareness. You cannot understand money and the role of money, and especially the connection between war and money, if you do not incorporate the existence of fallen beings who are not thinking rationally but have other motives, other ways of thinking.

Money has always been linked to profit. Most economists tend to think that people are acting rationally when it comes to money. When they spend money, it is because they want to make a profit. If they do not make a profit, they will not continue to spend money, or so the economist reasons. This is not the case with the fallen beings because they are not necessarily spending money to make a direct profit. They are often spending money for some other goal that cannot easily be understood in terms of rational thinking.

I am the Ascended Master Mother Mary! I come to discourse with you on another aspect of the hidden causes of war. This one may not be so hidden for those who have paid attention to world history and world events.

The mindset of gaining honor from war

You will know that for a very long time, going back into the mists of history, there has been a culture, a mindset, that has seen war as desirable, as something from which you could gain honor. You can see in many different parts of the world a warrior culture, the Samurai in Japan being but one example. Many other such cultures have existed and are still existing today. There are many people who have seen it as desirable for young men to go to war in order to prove their valor. Some have sought to gain self-worth by going to war and proving your ability to kill other human beings.

How do you gain self-worth from killing other human beings, from being good at killing? You cannot do so when you see yourself as connected to those other human beings, can you, my beloved? You can only see this as desirable when you are trapped in the consciousness of separation and duality. That is when you go into the “us-versus-them” mentality that has played such a dominant part of the mindset you have found on this planet for a very long time.

“Us” versus “them.”Consider this mentality, my beloved. This is the essence of duality. Not only do we have a division between “us” and “them,” but we also have the value judgment that “us” is better than “them,” that we are locked in a struggle against “them” and that we have to prove our superiority by physically defeating “them” in battle or in a war.

Consider how this idea of gaining honor, self-worth or status in your society through war has played a part in the thinking of human beings in different cultures and in different time periods. Where did this warrior culture come from? It did not come from what I would like to call “human beings.” I know I have said that all human beings are spiritual beings, but when I talk about human beings, I talk about those who have been created specifically for the earth.

The beginning of the warrior culture

Each planet that has ever been created in the material universe has had a certain group of lifestreams that were the original inhabitants of that planet. They were meant to grow in self-awareness by co-creating their planet, taking it to the point where it could ascend with the rest of the universe when the universe was ready to ascend. Because of free will, there is always the possibility that the inhabitants of a given planet can take that planet into a downward spiral instead of the upward, ascending spiral intended.

This is not necessarily wrong or a big sin because it can also become an experience. When people have had enough of going into the downward spiral, they can come back to creating an upward spiral with a different experience. They can do this with an inner knowing that duality truly does not work.

It can be very difficult for a spiritual teacher to explain to lifestreams who have not experienced it, why duality does not work. Innocent lifestreams tend to look at going into duality as just another experience. In a sense, it is just another experience. Only, it is not just another experience because it so easily becomes a self-reinforcing spiral from which it is very difficult to extricate yourself.

The point I am working towards is that the original inhabitants of the earth did not invent the warrior culture. The warrior culture was invented by the fallen beings. This happened in the fourth sphere [See Cosmology of Evil] when that sphere was near the ascension point, and a certain group of fallen beings refused to ascend with the rest of that sphere. They came up with the idea of wanting to prove God wrong, and from this followed the desire to cause other lifestreams to misuse their free will. The simplest way to get people to misuse their free will was to deceive them with the duality consciousness and create the “us-versus-them” mentality. This led to the idea that there had to be a physical struggle to the death between “us” and “them.”

The warrior culture and the great struggle

This is the essence of the warrior culture. A warrior spends his entire life – all of his attention, all of his time, all of his physical strength – developing the ability to kill other people in battle, using whatever weapons and methods are there at his time and in his society. The warrior is always adapting to the development of new weapons, always seeking to have the latest, the most lethal and the most effective when it comes to killing other people. The warrior sees this as part of some great struggle. Throughout history, many different philosophies have been used to justify this struggle, but the idea is always that it is justifiable for “us” to kill “them.”

There may even be ideas that make it seem desirable for “us” to kill “them.” This warrior culture, this war mentality, has sometimes been justified with the idea that there is some grand struggle between two opposing polarities, such as God and the devil. We are on God’s side; those other people over there are on the devil’s side. Therefore, it is justifiable and necessary for us kill them. But you have also seen the Omega polarity of this, which is that there is no reason to justify the struggle by some epic mindset. The warrior mentality says that just the fact that we can defeat the enemy gives us the right to do so. We are warriors. We go to war. We fight the enemy. We defeat the enemy. Thereby, we gain honor, self-esteem, self-respect.

When you are connected to the reality that all life is one, when you see yourself as connected to a reality outside yourself, then you see yourself as a co-creative being. You know you are co-creating along with this greater reality. When you see yourself as a connected being, you gain honor, self-respect, by co-creating something.

Do you see the essential difference, my beloved? A connected being is directing all of its attention towards co-creating something new, something higher, something that benefits the All. A warrior is directing all of his attention towards destroying other human beings. Do you see that a connected being cannot come up with a warrior mentality? Only those who have gone into separation can do so.

I am the Ascended Master Mother Mary! I come to discourse with you on one of the causes of war that I desire people in embodiment to be aware of and to make calls on. Before I go into it, I would like to briefly summarize what I have talked about in my previous discourses.

The masters want to raise up all lifestreams

I know that when you are in embodiment, it is almost impossible that you are not affected by the dualistic consciousness. This consciousness hangs as a heavy cloud, as an almost impenetrable veil, as a fog around this planet. It affects the minds of almost all people who are in physical embodiment, blinding them to the deeper reality of oneness.

This dualistic consciousness may cause you to look upon my previous discourse and wonder if it is really true that we of the ascended masters want to raise up all lifestreams. Is it really true that we want to raise up even the demons and the fallen beings in the lowest levels of hell, of the astral plane? Is it really true that we want to raise up lifestreams such as Hitler, Stalin or Mao, who perpetrated mass killings of other people or even their own people? Are we really seeking to save or raise up every lifestream?

The answer is: “Yes!” We are not in the duality consciousness so we see the oneness of all life. We see how all life is interconnected and how each lifestream is part of the Body of God for a given planet and even for the universe as a whole. We see that there is a loss to the whole when a lifestream goes through the second death. The potential for that lifestream reaching its ascension will not be fulfilled.

We also see that even the lifestreams that most people would consider beyond help, or might even consider evil, are only deceived and blinded by the duality consciousness. Of course, we also see that those people who judge others as being evil are, likewise, blinded by the duality consciousness, and we are not trapped by that judgment. So yes, we will do everything we can to raise up any lifestream.

The struggle is inside your mind

In some cases a lifestream has gone into a self-reinforcing, downward spiral. When you are in such a spiral, you are struggling against something. You are perceiving that this something – against which you think you have to struggle – is outside yourself. We see the reality that the struggle is inside your own mind. What you are really struggling against is not a reality outside yourself but a perception of reality. This requires a delicate understanding.

When two nations go to war, there is a struggle between them. You cannot simply say that they have no enemy, they have only made up the enemy in their minds. There is, of course, an outer enemy that is attacking them or resisting them, but this is because both sides are caught in the duality consciousness. Yes, there is an outer enemy, but what they are fighting is not really the outer enemy. Both sides are fighting the mental images, the perception, of the other group of people. This perception is entirely dualistic, and it covers over the fact that both sides are part of the one Body of God. This is how it needs to be understood: You are fighting a perception.

When you begin to understand this, you realize that your only real way to stop war is to free people from the dualistic perception. If a lifestream has gone into a downward, self-reinforcing spiral, that lifestream is unreachable for a spiritual teacher. We cannot simply appear to such a lifestream and give that lifestream a spiritual teaching that will suddenly convert it and help it see the errors of its ways, so to speak.

The turning point in a downward spiral

When you have gone into a self-reinforcing, downward spiral, the spiral has to reach some kind of extreme point where you have had enough of the struggle and the fighting. You open your mind to the possibility that there is an alternative. Then, you can begin to see that the alternative is that, instead of struggling against outer enemies, you begin to look at yourself, your own mind, your own perception. You begin to look at the beam in your own eye, instead of the splinter in the eyes of your brother. You begin to realize that, if your life is to change, you have to change. Your mind has to change.

The question is: “How far down in consciousness does the lifestream have to go before it reaches this turning point?” We do in some cases allow forces to outplay themselves because it is necessary for all of the lifestreams involved to have that extreme experience. As soon as people have reached the turning point and are now open to any kind of higher teaching, then we of the ascended masters are there with a teaching that can appeal to them at their current level of consciousness. This does not mean that we can give all lifestreams a higher spiritual teaching. We cannot start talking about non-duality to a lifestream that has gone very far into a downward spiral and has just turned around. Such a lifestream is not ready to even contemplate the ideas I am giving you in this book, but it is ready to contemplate something.

Raw fear as a cause of war

Based on this, I will now go into the cause of war that I wish to discuss in this discourse, and that cause revolves around what we might call “raw fear.” The first fear I would like to talk about here is the fear that you will physically be attacked by others. This is a feeling, but it is very tied to a potential or even a real physical threat.

You live on a planet where war is a common occurrence. There have been many situations in history where one group of people have been faced with an enemy who had built a physical army and who were threatening them. In many cases, there has been a real physical threat that has given rise to this fear. It has sometimes become so intense and taken over people’s minds to the point that they have attacked first because they were so sure that their enemy would attack them.

There are also examples where one side has been afraid of the other side and has built up their army to avoid an attack from that side. The second side has then used this as an excuse for building up their own army because they feared that the first side would attack them. You have seen situations where two groups of people have actually gone to war based entirely on their perception that they would be attacked by the others. Once you have entered a spiral of fear, you are simply looking for something outside of yourself that can validate the fear.

My beloved, did you take note of what I just said? If you go into these situations I have described, where two groups of people have feared an attack from the other, you will see that, in all cases, they would say that their fear was based on the reality of the outer threat, the actions of the other people. They would say that the physical situation came first, and the fear came second.

It may seem like this in the actual situation, but when you know about reincarnation, when you understand that life has been happening on this planet for a very long time, then you see that it is never so that the physical conditions come before what is happening in the three higher octaves. Fear never actually springs from the physical condition. Fear happens at a higher level of manifestation than material conditions.

Ascended Master Mother Mary through Kim Michaels, April 27, 2015.

I am the Ascended Master Mother Mary! I know that for some my first two discourses have been highly shocking, perhaps even beyond what they were willing to bear. I am not seeking to reach everyone with this book and with these discourses. My purpose is to reach those who have the potential to act, to do something actively about the issue of war.

The effects of previous lifetimes

Why do you have this potential? Is it just something that happens? No, it is not. It is a result of a process that you have gone through. For most of you, you have not gone through this process in this lifetime. You have gone through it in previous lifetimes. Perhaps it has taken you many lifetimes to reach the level where you have the potential to be a forerunner for banishing war from this planet.

You cannot fully understand life and what is happening on this planet without understanding and accepting reincarnation. Otherwise, you will not be able to understand what is going on in your own psychology, but neither will you be able to understand why you so often see history repeating itself. You may look at many ages and see how there has been war upon war. You may see that the same old arguments have been used again and again and again to justify the killing of other people. Why are these arguments used, you might ask yourself? Why not go even further and ask yourself why these arguments can continue to appeal to people? The simple explanation is that it is the same people they are appealing to, only in different lifetimes.

People will, in this lifetime, believe what they believed in the last several lifetimes. This will go on until they reach a turning point where they begin to see that the arguments simply cannot be true. They cannot make sense. They cannot be rational. People experience over several lifetimes that the arguments do not lead to the end that they claim to lead to. You come to a point where you experience that killing other people will not bring about peace. You realize that the outer excuses that justify killing cannot be real, cannot be true.

Awakening from the mindset of war

I have said in my previous discourse that there are forces in the astral, mental and identity realms that you cannot reason with. I have also said that such forces can overpower the minds of individual human beings. If human beings in embodiment have had their minds overpowered by forces in the three other realms, then you cannot reason with these people in embodiment. It is not so that all human beings in the world have had their minds overpowered by these non-material forces, but there are those who have had their minds overpowered by them over several lifetimes. For these, it can be a matter of taking things to such an extreme that they finally begin to awaken.

Some have had to go to war time and time again and take their warring to such an extreme level that they finally woke up and realized that this cannot go on, that they cannot continue to live their lives this way—or to die and be killed this way. There are, of course, others who have always known that justification for killing is not real, and they have not gone into warring themselves. However, these people have often been the victims of war, and this can also cause you to open your mind to certain entities in the higher realms because these entities are very clever (especially some of the ones in the mental and identity realms) at making you believe that you have to fight for peace, fight for a good cause.

This may not mean physical fighting in the sense that you kill other people, but it may mean that you take certain aggressive measures. Many people have been fooled into, so to speak, fighting for causes that may seem worthy causes, but the means they have used have not been worthy means. You will probably know that back in the 1960s there was a big movement of young people who were actively working for and demonstrating for an end to war. This, for example, took place during the war fought by the United States in Vietnam where many people throughout the world demonstrated against this war.

Soldiers are not the main reason for war

There was even a song that came to be somewhat of an exponent for this so-called peace movement, and in the song, there was a line that said: “He is a universal soldier, and he really is to blame.” The idea was that it was the soldiers who fought in the war who were the driving force behind war, and if you could make the soldiers refuse to fight, then those who were the leaders had no one to fight for them.

This is not necessarily untrue in the sense that most of the human beings in embodiment who have initiated wars would not have gone out and fought themselves. They were dependent on having those who were willing to be the cannon fodder and go out there and actually fight the war. Nevertheless, you should not think that the soldiers are the cause of war. You should not think that this is a viable way to bring peace to the world: to blame the soldiers and to start demonstrating against the soldiers.

What I aim to show you here is that both the soldiers who went to war thinking they were fighting for a good cause and the people demonstrating against the soldiers were blinded by the consciousness of the entities, demons and fallen beings in the three higher levels. There are fallen beings in the identity realm who are very, very clever at coming up with argumentation that seemingly justifies taking action against other people. The characteristic you will see is that they always use the us-versus-them mentality. They separate humankind into easily-defined categories. For example, there were the soldiers and those demonstrating against the soldiers.

The duality consciousness as the foundation for war

Those who were demonstrating were thinking that they were peaceful people because they were not going to war and they were not using violent methods in their protests. They were simply going out on public places and sitting down and letting themselves be arrested. Without realizing this, these people had also been affected by fallen beings in the identity realm. The entire so-called peace movement was affected by these beings and the mentality that there were other people, such as the soldiers, who were to blame for war. When you have this mentality, this us-versus-them mentality, you are not serving to actively remove war from this planet.

This may seem shocking, but it is a reality. Why is it a reality? What is war? Consider what war really is. It is the extreme outcome of a certain state of consciousness. What is the state of consciousness behind war? I have said it is the us-versus-them mentality, but what is behind the idea that there is us and there is them? Behind it is a state of consciousness that divides reality into separate compartments. This state of consciousness looks at humankind. It then looks for certain characteristics that set one group of people apart from another group of people. It uses these characteristics to define a division between the two groups. It applies a value judgment, saying one group is doing something wrong. The other group is doing something right, or it must do something right to compensate for or stop what the first group is doing.

This is what we have called the duality consciousness, which always has two opposite polarities: good and evil, right and wrong, God and the devil. It uses this to create the idea that there is an epic struggle and that some people are on the wrong side of the struggle. Those who are on the right side must take various measures to force these other people to stop what they are doing.

My beloved, science has now proven that there is no such thing as locality, as separate compartments in the universe. This has been proven through the most advanced scientific measures. Locality, the idea that the universe can be divided into separate compartments, is an illusion created by the human mind, especially by the outer senses and the mind that runs the body. It is an illusion that goes all the way up through the four levels of the material realm. For most people, it has become part of their sense of identity.

Once you go into this duality consciousness, you see yourself as a separate being. You are separated from your God, from your source. You are separated from the nature in which you live. You are separated from the other people, except, perhaps, those who belong to the group that you identify yourself with and that you think is right in some epic sense. This state of consciousness is the very foundation for war.

In its extreme form, it makes you believe that you can kill another human being without affecting yourself. You may even believe that you are affecting yourself positively or affecting some greater cause. You may even believe you are promoting or working for God’s cause by killing other human beings. The idea that there is a heaven and there is a hell is an outcome of the duality consciousness. The reality is that there is only one continuum of vibrations. There are certain divisions, layers or realms in this energy continuum, but they are not separated by impenetrable barriers.

I am the Ascended Master Mother Mary! In my first discourse, I attempted to reach out to a broader audience, hoping to reach those who are, so to speak, sitting on the fence. They are not quite sure whether they dare to engage in a direct encounter with war and the forces behind war. I also attempted to reach those who have opened themselves to seeing a deeper understanding of what is happening on this planet but who have been trapped in anger or other fear-based emotions, thinking they have to battle dark forces. In this discourse, I will give you the more direct meat, assuming that those who are willing to read on in this book have decided that they are willing to know reality rather than the somewhat glorified picture of life that they have received while growing up on this planet.

A deeper understanding behind physical events

You might as well realize, if you have not already, that one of the purposes of the ascended masters and our progressive revelation is to give you the truth, the reality, the deeper understanding of what happens on this planet. You have been brought up with a very limited understanding of what truly goes on because you have only been given the physical, material perspective on life. You have even been given only a small portion of what goes on at the physical level.

What we of the ascended masters seek to help you understand is that the physical level is only the most superficial aspect of life on this planet. If you look only at the physical level, you get only the most superficial understanding and explanation for the deeper causes of the events that you see around you. Physical events are, in most cases, not caused by what happens at the physical level. Physical events are never exclusively caused by what happens at the physical level. There are always hidden causes that reach into the three higher octaves: the emotional, mental, and identity realms. This I would like to explain to you, focused on the concept of war.

The physical horrors of war

There are some authors who have attempted to describe in more realistic terms what they see at the physical level on a battlefield. Some have described the horrors of seeing decaying corpses. One American author, Ernest Hemingway, described a so-called “natural history” of the battlefield. Other writers have in other ways attempted to also describe the horrors of war, perhaps even in ironic terms by describing the beauty of a battlefield. What I would like to give you here is a “spiritual history” of the battlefield. I know that most of you have seen some of the modern television programs where they show decaying corpses and how forensic medicine can use various techniques to solve crimes by studying what happens to the corpses. I know that most of you are familiar with some of the physical horrors that you see on a battlefield. Yet I can assure you that very few people are prepared for the reality of seeing large numbers of dead people in various states of being blown up, lying scattered about a landscape. Truly, this is something that no one should have to see, but given that you live on a planet where war is a reality, it is something that many people have seen throughout history.

I can tell you that the ugliness and the horror that you see at the physical level is as nothing compared to what you see at the other levels. We have explained to you that there is a part of the emotional octave where there has been made room for those lifestreams who have gone into such a low state of consciousness that they cannot any longer take physical embodiment on earth. We have explained that, in this astral plane or astral pit, there are many beings who were not created as co-creators or angels. These are beings who have been created by those who have fallen into the duality consciousness.

How entities and demons are created

We have explained that you create everything out of the raw material of energy but that you give energy form through consciousness. When a self-aware being, a co-creator, focuses its attention on a given matrix long enough, there will be a certain amount of energy qualified through that matrix. Because the focus happens through the consciousness of the co-creator, the energy will eventually gain a certain rudimentary form of consciousness. This is what makes it possible to create an energy being, an entity, a spirit or even what we call a demon.

No individual co-creator is powerful enough to create a demon, but demons can be created collectively by large numbers of people focusing their attention on the same thought matrix and thereby feeding it both energy and consciousness. This thought matrix can then take on the appearance of a being that has a consciousness and a will. It has the rudimentary kind of consciousness that is somewhat similar to what you see in the animal form. Animals are conscious that they exist, although not self-aware. They do have a survival instinct and an instinct to propagate. This is what you see in these entities or demons that exist in the astral plane.

Entities and demons cannot choose

They know they exist. They know they can only continue to exist by being fed, and they know that what feeds them is energy that comes from human beings in embodiment. They also understand, although not as clearly as you can do as a self-aware being, that human beings will continue to feed them energy only when their minds are locked in a certain track. An entity or a demon is not a being that has the ability to choose: “I no longer want to be this kind of entity.” It is the same as an animal who does not have the ability to choose: “I no longer want to be a giraffe. I want to be an elephant.”

An entity or a demon is created out of a certain thought matrix. It cannot by itself change that matrix; it is simply not possible because it was not created with self-awareness. A demon that is created out of violence, for example, knows that it can continue to exist only by being fed energy. It can be fed energy only when human beings continue to engage in violence. Such a demon has the ability to project thoughts and feelings into the minds of human beings who are susceptible to the thought matrix that created the demon. It can, because it was created collectively, overpower the minds of individuals and, thereby, propel them into engaging in more violence. This feeds the demon so that it becomes even stronger.

This is a principle that you need to understand if you are to understand the hidden causes of war. There never has been a war on this planet, and there never will be a war on this planet, that is caused exclusively by causes at the material, physical level. I am well aware, and I will later talk more about, the fact that there are many physical causes of why people go to war, but war is never caused exclusively by such physical causes. There has never been, and there never will be, a war that was not to a large degree caused by demons in the astral plane who have taken over the minds of individual people. They have managed to manipulate them into taking the steps that gradually led to the outbreak of war.

Ascended Master Mother Mary through Kim Michaels, April 15, 2015.

I am the Ascended Master Mother Mary! For the purpose of this book, I will assume that you know what an ascended master is. You have a basic knowledge of who we are. You have a basic knowledge of the dynamic on earth, meaning the relationship between human beings and ascended masters. You understand the Law of Free Will and that we, the ascended masters, do have the power to change every condition on earth, to remove all imperfections, all darkness, all evil and all war. We have the power to do this, but we do not have the authority because free will reigns supreme. That means the free will of human beings in embodiment must be allowed to outplay itself until people have had enough and do indeed change.

The force that does not respect free will

I will also assume that you understand the basic dynamic that there is a force on this earth that does not respect free will, the free will of human beings. This force attempts to manipulate human beings in all ways possible, based on deceit, based on raw force, based on any scheme you can imagine. Because free will reigns supreme, we of the ascended masters cannot step in and override the efforts of these deceptive or dark forces. We are not allowed to do this, even though they are violating the free will of human beings. This is because even though the dark forces are manipulating and deceiving human beings, they are not truly violating the Law of Free Will. You cannot be manipulated or deceived, unless you make a choice to allow this to happen because you are not willing to take full responsibility for your own life or your own situation. It is, therefore, the lack of willingness to take full responsibility that has created the dark force and that allows it to remain on earth.

I know very well that, when I talk about the dark force, there are many spiritual people who will immediately reject this, or at least be very reluctant to look at it. This is, in fact, one of the main reasons why this dark force remains on earth.

Taking responsibility for yourself—and the whole

When you look at humankind, you can clearly see that there are many who are very far from the point where they are able and willing to take responsibility for their lives. These people will not change the earth. They will not change the basic dynamic that will allow the ascended masters to step in and remove major problems, such as war. Who can bring about a change on earth? Only those who have risen to a higher level of consciousness where they are beginning to take responsibility for themselves. There are, unfortunately, many of these people who have not yet reached the point where they are open to the teachings we give in books such as this one. They have started to take responsibility for themselves as individuals, but they have not come to the point where they are willing to look beyond themselves and their own situation. They have, sort of, isolated and insulated themselves from the world and from the things that are going on in the world. They do not really want to look at certain problems, such as the problem of war.

They want to believe that, as long as they sit there in their ashrams or their communities or even in their individual homes and focus on the positive, focus only on positive vibrations, then they are making a contribution to improving the world. My beloved, they are making a contribution. I am not disputing this, but they are not making the maximum contribution that they could be making if they would step up to a higher sense of responsibility.

You will not truly change the earth by only focusing on yourself and raising your own consciousness. This is because of the nature of free will and the nature of energy. We have given many teachings on the fact that humankind has created a downward energy spiral where people are feeding fear-based energy, such as anger and hatred, into a vortex that has become so strong that it can overpower individual people. This you cannot change by only changing your own consciousness.

Those who are the spiritual people on earth cannot change the basic dynamic on earth only by focusing on raising their own consciousness. It is necessary to look beyond yourself and to take responsibility for the planet as a whole, for humanity as a whole. If you will not do this, then you will continue to make a contribution by producing love-based vibrations, but this contribution will not reach a level where it will have a decisive impact on the future of this planet. It will not reach a level that will allow the ascended masters to step in and remove major problems, such as war.

How you can and cannot remove war

The energy vortexes that drive war are so powerful that even if all of the spiritual and religious people on earth raised their own consciousness, it would not be enough to consume these energy vortexes. If all of the people on earth shifted into sending out only positive vibrations, even this would not be enough to consume the vortexes of war. Only the power of the ascended masters can consume these vortexes. Human beings do not have the power to do this alone. That is why Jesus, 2,000 years ago, said: “With men this is impossible, but not with God, for with God all things are possible.”

Human beings alone cannot remove war from planet earth. Only by working with the ascended masters can war be removed. We need you to give us the authority to use the power that we have been given by God. How do you give us the authority? Not by sitting in your own ivory tower and focusing on yourself and raising your own consciousness. You give us the authority only by looking beyond yourself, taking an honest and open look at what is happening on this planet, understanding the dynamic of why war was created and how it can continue. Then you make the appropriate calls that will give us the authority and the energy to multiply so that we can step in and remove war and other major problems.

Looking at darkness without giving it power

There are so many wonderful people in spiritual, mystical and New Age movements. There are so many wonderful people in religious movements. They have the best of intentions, but they have come to believe that they do not need to look at

anything dark or evil. Some have even come to believe that if they look at darkness they reinforce it, they give it power. It is important that you understand why this is not the case, or rather, it is important that you understand how to look at darkness without giving it power.

As I said, there are many spiritual people who are focusing on raising their own consciousness while refusing to look at anything dark or evil, while refusing to look at any problems. There is also a certain segment of spiritual people who have passed this point. They have become willing to look at the darkness, but they have not yet transcended some of the matrices of their own egos.

As they look at the darkness, they go into a spiral of anger. They have what they themselves call “righteous indignation,” but it is not righteous in the sense that it is based on non-attachment. They are very much attached to producing a specific result, such as defeating the dark forces or removing them from the earth. Through this attachment, that leads to anger, you will give power to dark forces. It is very true, as many of the, shall we say, gentle spiritual people have realized, that if you engage in a fight against darkness that is based on anger, then you will give power to darkness. This is, of course, not the only way to look at darkness.

You can step up to a higher way where you have transcended anger, and therefore, you can look at the darkness with non-attachment. You can realize that you, as a human being, do not have to fight darkness. You allow the ascended masters to do the work, and you allow us to do it our way based on our higher vision. Your job is to have enough information so that you know how to make precise calls for specific situations. You make those calls, and then you allow us to decide how to do the actual work.
