Ascended Master Mother Mary, February 22, 2015 through Kim Michaels

My beloved hearts, I am indeed the Ascended Master Mother Mary. I come to share with you my gratitude and my enthusiasm for the fact that so many of you have taken up this vigil, to give four hours of decrees and invocations once a month for a specific purpose of consuming conflict and other atrocities going on around the world.

My beloved, although I have said 500 people, I do not wish you to play a numbers game here. It is not a matter of so many people. The real importance of this vigil is that as many people as possible give decrees at the same time at a regular interval whereby you create a momentum that becomes an upward spiral.

A spiral of light around the planet

I know very well that the human mind always has a tendency to look for specific results; you want to see a linear result of your efforts. I wish to share with you the very fact that what we of the ascended masters are looking for is not linear results and a linear progression. We see everything in terms of spirals.

A spiral, as you know, circles around and it comes back, not quite to the same point, but at least to the same side of the planet at regular intervals. That is precisely what you are building: A beautiful spiral of light that circles around the planet and that actually follows the planet as the planet moves through absolute space.

As you might know, if you think deeply about this, planet earth is constantly moving, not just around the sun, but throughout absolute space. As the planet moves through space, and at the same time moves in an oval orbit around the sun, it actually traces a spiral pattern.

What you are building is a spiral of light that in some ways goes faster than the earth. Therefore, you may not see a result right now of your efforts, but rest assured that as the earth again meets the spiral that you have built, there will be another chance at manifesting a result in the physical octave.

As I have said before, and as I want to instil on your minds, no effort of invoking light is ever wasted. You could do a vigil of focusing on a specific problem and asking for the intercession of the forces of light, and you may concentrate a great effort on that specific problem, but it does not necessarily mean that you would see an instant linear result. Even if you had millions of people invoking light for a specific problem, there may not be an instantaneous result because you always have the equation of free will.

Crucial points in world history

This is one of the mysteries that have often confused people when they look at the earth. You see, for example, how at certain crucial points in world history one person has been able to either hold back a new development, to hold back peace or to create a conflict that, once it had crossed the borderline into the physical, could not be stopped for a long time.

This is the extreme outplaying of the law of free will. What you need to recognize here is that even though one person may sometimes seem to be the one who has the power to change the course of the entire world, it is not actually so. It is only that that one person becomes the focal point for a movement in the collective consciousness.

Adolph Hitler, Joseph Stalin, Chairman Mao could not have done what they did in their nations had it not been because there was already a spiral in the collective consciousness of those nations. Vladimir Putin cannot do what he is doing today by his own power alone. He is also riding a spiral in the consciousness of the Russian people, not only in Russia but in other nations, especially right now in Ukraine.

The collective consciousness of Russia

My beloved, consider a mystery, or at least what seems like a mystery for the people from the West who do not understand the Russian mindset. You have people who have lived outside of Russia in other nations for generations. Many of them are born in those nations. Why then do they still identify themselves as Russians and not as Ukrainians or Poles or Lithuanians? This is a mystery to ponder, but the cause from a spiritual level is that these people have not freed themselves from the collective consciousness created in Russia.

This is because the collective spiral, the collective consciousness, created in Russia was spread beyond the borders of Russia during Soviet times. As we have said before, these spirals have not completely been arrested and consumed.

Those of you who are concerned about the situation in Russia, in Ukraine and potentially in other former Soviet nations, would do well to focus your decree efforts and your invocations on consuming these spirals. Especially those who are the spiritual people of a Russian descent might consider here that these spirals of identification as Russians are not the highest potential of the Russian people. They are an artificial construct, again created during Soviet times where the Russian people were used to put the whole world in an artificial conflict.

The Russian people – some among them – are so attached to being a powerful nation and having the respect of the world that they actually want these spirals to continue. They do, as Putin himself, to some degree does want to go back to the Soviet era where Russia was feared by other nations. They think fear leads to respect and that there is no way to get respect without being feared.

This, of course, is what people who have grown up in the West, in free democratic nations, cannot understand. You cannot understand why anyone would think that by making you fear them, they earn your respect. You know, of course, that that is the surest way to lose your respect. Certainly, other people can make you fear them but this will not lead to you respecting them, will it?

You need to make these calls also if you live in the West, if you are not of Russian descent, and you are concerned about the situation. Make the calls for the arresting of these collective spirals of the Russian people and their fear-based tendency to think that they can earn respect only through fear and power and the exercising of power.

The spirals of the Ukrainian people

My beloved, we are certainly desirous of seeing a resolution to the conflict in Ukraine, but I must also tell you that once again we look at free will. We see that the situation is not nearly as simple as it might seem for outsiders.

The Ukrainian people have their own collective spirals and one of them is that they do not truly want to take responsibility for themselves as a nation. That is why you see such high levels of corruption that it has made the majority of the population the virtual slaves of a small power elite of oligarchs and those in positions of power in the state apparatus.

This is not so different from what was there during Soviet times, only now those people at the top can freely accumulate greater amounts of wealth than they could during the so-called Communist era, which was not truly Communist at all. What needs to happen is that the people come to this awareness, and they demand what other people have demanded in other countries before: An end to this blatant corruption that brings any nation to its knees economically.

The problem with corruption

You can look to many other nations who have high levels of corruption. You might know that there are certain world-wide organizations who every year compile indexes of which countries have the highest level of corruption. You can go and look at these nations and you can see a clear connection between their level of abundance and the level of corruption. You can also see a connection between the level of corruption and a more dictatorial form of leadership.

What is corruption a sign of? It is a sign of the fact that people are not equal to the law. There are some people who belong to an elite who are above the law. They are misusing their power, the power that really is entrusted to them by the people or at least by the state and the governmental apparatus, which should be representing the people but is not.

The people have allowed this to happen, they have allowed this to go on. They all know someone who is benefiting from this corruption so it has become so ingrained in the population that they are not willing to take the conflict to demand an end to this.

That is, of course, why they have become susceptible to more dictatorial forms of government. They did not object to it, as the Russian people should ideally have objected many, many times as Putin tightened his grip on power. They should have protested when he stopped freedom of speech, freedom of the press, freedom to assemble.

Of course, there is freedom for those whom he wants to assemble, as seen in this recent mock demonstration in Moscow against the so-called coup in Ukraine. How can it be a coup if you overthrow a government that was a strawman for a foreign power?

How much suffering do people need?

My beloved, without going too deeply into these topics, I wish to encourage you, for you have made a difference by invoking this light. We may not see an immediate result of this because of free will, which must be must be allowed to outplay itself, sometimes even into what seems like unnecessary extremes.

They are not unnecessary in the sense that sometimes people can be awakened only through extreme amounts of pain and anguish. This is clearly not what we of the ascended masters want to see. We would like to see people awaken through the least amount of pain possible. Unfortunately, people do awaken through the least amount of pain possible, but it is an enormous amount of pain that is needed before they awaken.

This, of course, is something that we of the ascended masters cannot stop, we cannot change. Neither can you change it. Neither, for that matter, should you try to change it with your calls and invocations, nor should you even desire to change it. Doing this will only make you frustrated and make you discouraged because you feel like your efforts are not having an effect. I tell you: They DO have an effect!

It is true that there are people who are in positions where they can hold back a change for some time, but they cannot hold it back forever, my beloved. As more and more people invoke more and more light, changes will happen, it is absolutely inevitable. It just may not happen quite as swiftly as you wish to see it happen.

Taking the long view

This is where you need to be a practical realist, as we of the ascended masters have learned over the sometimes very long time we have served this planet, or even other planets in a similar state as earth.

When you have been ascended for many centuries, like myself and other masters, you have long ago realized that you are working for the long-term perspective, you have long-term goals. You have long ago realized that the earth is indeed in an upward spiral, but that the upward spiral does not follow a straight, ascending line. It follows a curve with peaks and troughs, with ups and downs, not exactly like a sine wave because the ups and downs are not regular, they are very irregular. It still follows the curve that you might see as the result of some statistics, whether it be weather patterns or other dynamics.

We, of course, have learned to see that general upward movement and to work for that general upward movement, and not be overly concerned about the dips and not be overly enthusiastic about the peaks. We know that both are temporary and both will change, but it is the upward movement of the median that matters in the long run.

The situation in Africa

My beloved, I know that there are many people who over the years have asked: “Why have the ascended masters given so few dictations about Africa?” There are several reasons for this.

One is, of course, that you from a very early age have been taught to look at a world map and identify certain continents. When you learn that there is continent called Africa, you think that this huge area is one homogenous area. In your childlike mind, you think that the people in Africa must be as homogenous as the people in your own country, or in your own part of the world.

Africa, although it may be said to be one continent, really cannot be said to be a unit. This is in part due to the huge geographical differences. Consider the difference between the states North of the Sahara desert, those in the Sahara desert, those South of there, those around the Equator and those further South. The differences in geography are far greater than the geographical differences in for example Europe. They are even greater that the differences in the United States, even though the United States has quite dramatic geographical differences between the different regions.

It is virtually meaningless to make general statements about Africa. What we can do is make more specific statements about specific countries or specific regions. This, however, would require us to have a messenger who had a greater knowledge of these regions, especially first-hand knowledge from having grown up in one of the regions of Africa. This we do not currently have. Surely, this messenger could spend his time to learn more about the conditions found in Africa, but would this be the wisest use of his time, given who he is and the fact that he was deliberately born in another region than Africa? It would not, seen from the long-term perspective.

The need for many messengers

We, of course, hope that we will gradually have messengers from all areas of the world, from all walks of life, who can take valid messages. Until that manifests, it will be difficult for us to give messages, not only about Africa, but about many other regions around the world where we know there are ascended master students who would like to hear more specific messages for their own nations.

This is simply the nature of how it currently works on earth. Many of you who have studied the work of this messenger for years, or have studied the work of the ascended master organizations that come before this, have almost come to take this for granted. You sometimes think it is so easy for us to have a messenger in embodiment that you think it should be possible for us to find messengers who could talk about any topic, or that one messenger should easily be able to take a dictation about any topic whatsoever.

This is not quite as easy as you think! Having a sponsored messenger, who holds a complex mantle, is not something that we of the ascended masters can take for granted. It is not an easy task to be a messenger and to still maintain a physical life with all of the demands of having to make a living, having to get your economy to function, having to have a place to live, having relationships with other people and so on.

The demands on a sponsored messenger

This is not something that we take for granted because we know how complicated it is. It is not easy for us to train a messenger who can actually maintain a state of mind that allows that person to continue functioning for any length of time. It is not easy for a person to be a messenger and hold the many complicated balance points that you need to hold in order to have the mindset that allows you to even accept that you can be a messenger for the ascended masters, and that you can tune in to the masters and take a dictation.

This is not nearly as easy as some of you have come to think. We understand that it seems easy given the amount of ascended masters teachings that are out there, and that have been brought forth over the last century. You can see several messengers who were able to function over a long period of time and bring forth very large amounts of material. This, of course, makes it seem easy, but it is not easy.

There are only very few people who are able to hold that balance and that focus where you make this the highest priority of your life and everything else comes secondary, or tertiary or further down on your priority list. You do no allow anything to stand between you and your relationship to the ascended masters, no matter what kind of attacks or criticism that you are likely to be exposed to from the world.

There are many people who actually have a potential to take messages, but we cannot sponsor them as a messenger because we know that it would be too destructive for them psychologically. They would not be able to hold the balance, the very complex balance, that you need to hold in order to function as a messenger with any kind of mantle.

Some of you have come to think that once you have been given a mantle by the ascended masters, everything should be happily every after because now you are protected by that mantle. Certainly, there is some protection in the mantle. But you realize, do you not, that you have to continually earn that mantle. You have to live up to it, and there is a return demand on you that you have to be able to hold the balance that is required for you to carry the mantle.

You may look at the old kings who carried a big heavy metal crown on their heads, and it gave them a certain regal appearance. If they did not hold their balance, then the crown would fall off and roll on the floor, would it not? So it is, in a symbolic way, with a messenger who has received a mantle. If you do not hold the balance, it will come off and fall to the ground and then we must withdraw it.

Qualifying for your ascension

Why am I telling you this? Because I want you to appreciate what you have while you have it. As Jesus said: “Work while ye have the light, for the night cometh when no man can work.” Everything has its time in the physical octave. We look forward to this messenger serving potentially for many years to come, but still appreciate what you have while you have it. Make the best use of it because I can assure you, my beloved, that those of you who are open to ascended master teachings have come into this embodiment, not to live the good life on earth, but to live a spiritual life that for many of you will qualify you for your ascensions.

When you are in your last embodiment, you cannot allow anything else to stand in the way of you qualifying for your ascension. It must be your first priority because the prince of this world is an expert in diverting your attention into all kinds of blind alleys that do not further your ascension or your service to the light.

How the golden age will be manifest

This in some way ties into the topic of why we have not said more about for example Africa or other regions. We must again look at the overall picture; we must look at where we have the greatest amount of ascended master students. Which nations have the potential to come closer to manifesting some of the complex matrices that Saint Germain holds for the golden age?

You may think that this will only make the inequality between certain nations greater, and this is true on a temporary basis. Some nations must be the first ones to begin manifesting the matrix for the golden age. As they do so, they will make progress far beyond those nations who are not yet ready. But you see, the golden age cannot be manifest all at once all over the world. It must be started somewhere where you break through the barrier, you break through the veil, and start bringing into the physical octave the matrices of Saint Germain.

When some nations have manifested this physically, then you have a physical proof that this is possible. Suddenly, there can be a shift in the collective consciousness where more and more people begin to accept that this is a possibility. You who are ascended master students may look at our teachings about the golden age and you take them for granted, you think it should be obvious to all people. But I tell you that there are many nations where the vast majority of the people simply do not have the awareness needed to accept our teachings.

Why Muslims reject progressive revelation

They would look at them as pure fantasy, or they would look at the fact they go beyond their religion and then they would reject them outright, as even being the works of the devil. Just look at how many nations are so trapped in the mindset that is dominating the Muslim religion right now that they would reject anything that contradicts the Koran or goes beyond the Koran. You may think this is ironic because, after all, these people believe that God, through the Archangel Gabriel, revealed the Koran to man.

Therefore, you might think that they should be open to the possibility that God, through Archangel Gabriel or other ascended masters, could give new revelation. But you see, the mindset created by the fallen angels is that there could never be new revelation because the previous revelation was perfect and adequate. If new revelation was forthcoming, it would prove that the previous was not complete as it is claimed to be. You see the catch-22 that these nations are in. Therefore, the vast majority of the people in such nations could not accept our teachings, even if they were explained to them.

This, of course, is also the case in many of the nations in Africa. I am not hereby saying that there are not people in all of these nations who are ready for our teachings. I am simply saying that there are so few that it would not be realistic to expect that there would be a widespread acceptance of some of our ideas.

I am not here even talking about a widespread acceptance of our outer teachings or our existence. I am talking about an acceptance of more subtle ideas by the people. We do not only spread new ideas through sponsored messengers and organizations. We spread them in many different ways, but again we must work primarily in the nations where at least the biggest possible number of people are open to these new ideas because there minds are not so imprisoned by the old concepts and ideas.

The way to bring change in Africa

What I will say, as a general statement about Africa, is that it presents a very difficult challenge to the world. This challenge has unfortunately been created by the fallen beings by taking what happened in colonial times and the entire issue of slavery in the United States, and distorting the relationship between different peoples of different races and skin color to such a point where it is almost impossible to bring forth golden age ideas about Africa.

Many of the wealthy developed nations in the world still suffer from what we might call a “guilt complex” about colonial times. They barely dare to debate freely what potentially could happen in Africa. They are not even open to some of the radical new thinking that is necessary if Africa is to be brought out of its current stalemate, or even the downward spiral that you see in many nations.

Neither are there very many people in Africa itself who are open to such ideas. The entire international community, such as the United Nations, is not open to these ideas. Therefore, there is not much point in us bringing out these ideas as the collective consciousness is right now. But I will give you a hint.

If there was to be a positive development in Africa, there would have to be created an international organization. This organization would have to go far beyond what has been envisioned for the United Nations. It could not be created from or within the United Nations because that organization is simply too stuck in its self-created matrices.

There would have to be a new organization created. It would have to be an organization that could make an overall assessment based on many, many different considerations. It would have to be an organization that would have to look at certain regions of Africa and say: “What is a viable way to turn the current situation into an upward spiral that will benefit most of the people who live in that area?”

You would have to think in radical new ways. You would have to acknowledge one very simple fact, and that is that most of the nations you currently see in Africa are simply not viable nations from a variety of perspectives. Many of these nations, especially in sub-Saharan Africa, have been created in highly artificial ways, going all the way back to Colonial times, but also based on very complex patterns of racial and especially tribal conflicts.

If you were to really turn things around in Africa, you would have to identify certain regions from an overall perspective and say: “How can we create an economically viable region that can move towards giving prosperity to all of the people living there?” This would in the beginning require an international force that could come in and suppress the tribal warlords and the warfare you see going on right now. It would require a radical new thinking on how to use the natural resources available without allowing single people or multinational corporations to exploit all of the profit without giving it to the benefit of the people.

Can you see that in order to avoid or transcend the exploitation by multinational corporations, you would have to create a multinational “corporation” that could function in a way that is not driven by profit or political interests? This is the only practical way to bring true change to Africa.

Unfortunately, it is not currently practical to create such an organization. Not even the most developed nations in the world are ready to seriously consider creating such an organization. There are so many concerns, so much baggage from colonial times – from two world wars, from the struggle between capitalism and communism, from the whole issue of multinational corporations – that no nation is ready to seriously consider this.

Yet unless such an organization is created, there is very little hope that the current struggle in Africa will be transcended any time soon. We of the ascended masters are greatly concerned that the warfare and the struggle you have seen on other continents must be repeated in Africa before a majority of the African people have had so much pain that they are ready to look for an alternative.

We have not given much teaching about Africa for there are very few people who are willing to listen to the radical, or so they would see them, ideas about what needs to happen on the African continent. You know very well the law: “When the student is ready, the teacher appears.” Certainly, we have the ideas that would transform Africa into a number of regions that would be in an upward spiral. Certainly, Saint Germain has a golden age matrix for the area you now call Africa. But until enough students are ready to even consider these ideas, what would be the point in releasing them?

Who would be willing to listen? And if no-one is willing to listen, why then would we spend the time and the energy of our messenger to bring them forth? Why would we not concentrate our efforts on where there is a greater potential to bring certain nations or regions closer to the golden age.

When the student is ready

You see, we of the ascended masters do not have what you so often see among human beings: personal preferences, likes and dislikes. We do not have the emotional attachments, the evaluations, that you have. We look at the earth neutrally. We love all people everywhere, but we also look realistically at where people are at in consciousness. We look at the fact that we have limited resources available for speaking directly to people.

Therefore, we must use our resources in the way that has the greatest chance of having a positive impact. This I trust that many of you will be able to understand. It is clear that we hope the situation will change, we have plans for bringing about this change. As soon as things do change, then of course we will begin bringing forth more teaching. This is not only true about Africa, but about many other regions of the world.

You see, my beloved, there are complex equations here. Why has this Messenger not been in South America for years? Because there has not been a student body who was willing to, not only invite him but to hold the balance for a sponsored messenger visiting the area.

Conferences for 2015

This brings me to the final topic I wanted to discourse on. We now have two conferences planned for this summer. I am personally looking forward to these conferences. I know that there is a potential that they can bring much needed light to the area of Europe and the United States.

This messenger has not had a conference in the United States for some time. We have much light we want to bring there; we have much light we want to bring to Europe. I strongly hope that all of you consider yourself ascended master students will make an effort to attend or in other ways support these conferences.

There is great value in our students coming together physically, for much more light can be released, not only through the messenger but through all of those who participate with sincerity and purity of motive and intention. There are always some who come without having clarified their motives for coming, and sometimes they have selfish motives. Those who do have a certain purity of motive become conduits for the light, and the more people come together and the greater the harmony and unity in the group, the more light we can release.

We hope, therefore, that you will consider supporting this effort. I very much hope that you will also help spread the word about my vigil so that we can get more and more people and create more of a momentum.

Planetary initiations for 2015

My beloved, it is an important step for the planet that we have started releasing these books in the series called: “The Path to Self Mastery.” These next years, the total of seven years where the planet is being initiated by one of the seven rays per year, are very important. This year, as you know, the planetary initiation is on the Third Ray of Love and the book The Mystical Initiations of Love is extremely important for setting the foundation.

You can do yourself a great favor by studying this book throughout the year and by giving at least one invocation a day throughout the year. This takes only twenty minutes of your time. The reward I assure you will be worth it. But you can also do the planet an immense favor by using this book and the invocations, because you help create a trail in the collective consciousness.

You can see for yourself that relationships is one of the most complex aspects of your lives. But then look at the more developed nations and look at the divorce rate, and look at the problems that people are having with relationships. Then consider the service you can give by giving these invocations and by sending out these ideas and the light into the collective consciousness.

There is a great need for a breakthrough in the relationship between all people but especially between men and women. As the book makes it clear, we have entered a new phase where there is a need for an entirely new relationship between men and women. Who will bring it forth, my beloved, unless those who are open to ascended master teachings become the forerunners. Therefore, we look to you to make use of these teachings.

Book about changing the world

I am also excited about the new book, that has not yet been announced, about how you can help change the world. This will become the first book in a series of books that are specifically designed on the matrix where we give dictations and these dictations are turned into invocations.

This matrix is extremely powerful, as those of you will know who have made use of some of the books, such as the book about Clearing the Chakras. There is currently no more powerful way to clear your chakras than that book, and I can assure you that as we bring forth these books in the series of how to spiritualize the world there will be no more powerful tools available in the physical octave than these books.

The matrix of studying a dictation and giving an invocation is extremely powerful. It serves both the Alpha and Omega of raising awareness and transforming energy, and this is how you transform a world. This is how a relatively small number of people can have a decisive impact on transforming a world.

I know well that I do not have millions of  people are who are willing to listen to or read this dictation. Therefore, we must bring forth tools that can work, that can have the greatest possible impact with the number of people we do have.

As I said: “Appreciate what you have.” Make the best possible use of it. Catch some of my enthusiasm, my beloved. Catch my Joy. Catch my gratitude, and allow yourselves to rise above these spirals of pessimism and discouragement that are so common in the world.

There are all kinds of doomsayers in the world, my beloved. They will tell you that this world is going to hell in a hand basket in five minutes. But my beloved, I have been an ascended master for two thousand years. You can go back to any year during those two thousand years and there have also been naysayers who would tell you that the world was going to end in the near future. This is a phenomenon created by the fallen beings.

Do not fall prey to this trick. It has worked on you enough times in past lives. Do not fall for it this time. Accept that with God all things are possible. When you make use of our teachings and our tools in the form of invocations and decrees, you are with God.

My beloved, what more can I say? If what I say has not been sufficient, what more can I say? Thus, I will bid you a fond “adieu” and thank you for your attention and your efforts in these vigils.

Ascended Master Mother Mary, December 25, 2014 through Kim Michaels

I am the Ascended Master Mother Mary. I come on this Christmas morning to talk to you about a topic that most of you know quite well, but you are not always as fully conscious of it as I wish you were. That is why I want to give you some words that might stay with you and might help you to counteract one of the greatest oppositions to your spiritual growth.

I have, myself, been in physical embodiment on planet earth. I was in my last lifetime a housewife with several children. I lived at a time when you did not have the many timesaving technological wonders that women have in the kitchen today—or men for that matter, too, if they venture into the kitchen. I know well how it was to be in embodiment at my time. You may think that was a long time ago, but when you ascend, time ceases to exist.

I can as easily remember how it was for me to be in embodiment 2,000 years ago, as I can tune in to how it is for you to be in embodiment today. Back then, I was extremely busy doing everyday chores just to get the family life working. I know that many of you, both men and women, are extremely busy today. You do not have to do some of the very time-consuming, daily chores that we had to do 2,000 years ago, but then you have other chores that occupy your time and attention. Thus, you do not have any more free time and free attention today than we had back then. I fully understand this.

The enthusiasm of discovering the Path

Most of you were not brought up with an awareness of this path. You were brought up either in a traditional religion, for most of you the Christian religion, or without having any strong religious family background. You were unaware that there is a systematic path of initiations, leading to a higher state of consciousness, and that there is a set of teachers who are not like any teachers or authority figures you have ever met on earth, for the ascended masters have no self-interest. We have only the larger self-interest of knowing that all life is One, and therefore, there is only One Self. The only way to raise ourselves, as you would say it, is to raise the All.

Many of you felt a great sense of liberation, joy, and enthusiasm when you first realized that there is an alternative to the lifestyle presented by materialism or traditional religion. You felt liberated. You felt that a new world had opened up to you. You were excited and enthusiastic about exploring that world, including studying the teachings and, for many of you, also practicing the tools and techniques that we have given. We have now, for not quite a century but coming close, been giving specific exercises – decrees, rosaries, and invocations – designed to help you invoke spiritual light and direct it into specific conditions in your personal lives and in the world.

I know that many of you felt this sense of enthusiasm and joy when you first became aware of these tools. I know that many of you can remember, when you think back, the contrast you first felt between your former state of consciousness and then the state of mind that you experienced after having given a certain amount of decrees or invocations. You can remember the contrast between your normal state of consciousness and the sense of having raised yourself beyond it, of having purified your energy field, getting your chakras to spin in the right direction, to spin more quickly, to let through more light.

Many of you have known how it is to walk on a wave of light, to float along with a wave of light, after having given, perhaps several hours of decrees and invocations. Many of you felt that contrast, and you felt such a joy of being free of the normal weight that burdened you that you would give invocations or decrees for hours, just for the joy of feeling that liberation from the normal heavy burden of energy that you carried.

The challenge of the daily grind

My beloved, if you remember how this felt, then I wish to make you aware of one of the greatest enemies of your spiritual growth found on earth. It is simply what we might call “the daily grind.” The human mind, the human energy field, has an ability to adjust. This is in many ways a very necessary ability. Planet earth is right now a very dark planet, compared to many of the other planets in your galaxy and beyond. It is impossible to embody here without being disturbed by the conditions that you cannot avoid knowing about. Even if you do not see them directly in your own life, you see them in the media.

This, by the way, is one big difference between today and the time when I was in embodiment 2,000 years ago. Back then, we did not know so much about what happened in the world around us, especially not far away from us. Today, you have exploded on these colorful screens all of the news from all corners of the world. You cannot fail to know what is happening on this planet, whether it be war here, conflict there, the mistreatment of children, the starvation of people, and so forth, and so on.

How do you deal with all this disturbing information? Truly, if you maintained the full sensitivity that is normal and natural for a self-aware being, then you could not stand being in embodiment on planet earth. You would be so overwhelmed by the darkness, by man’s inhumanity to man, that you could not – emotionally, mentally, spiritually – stand being in embodiment. How do you, then, survive? By using the human mind’s ability to adapt.

This ability is centered around creating a sense of what is normal. The mind, in most cases completely subconsciously, creates a definition of what is the normal state in your environment. Once you accept that this is the norm, then this gives you a sense of equilibrium. It is this sense of equilibrium that allows you to survive in a given environment.

How the mind gradually accepts norms

Most of you are not aware of this process. Most human beings on earth are not aware of this process because it all happened gradually as you grew up. Many of you cannot remember how shocked you were as young children when you were exposed to some of the shocking ways that human beings treat each other. Perhaps, you experienced it personally. Perhaps, you were abused in some ways, either physically, emotionally or mentally. Perhaps, you just heard about it by the adults talking or through the media.

Can you remember, for example, how you experienced it when you first became aware that, on this planet earth, there is a state that is considered normal by many people, and it is called war? As a spiritual being in embodiment, there is a part of you that knows that war is never normal in any environment.

Most of you have been brought up in societies where you were exposed to movies, stories, books, and comic books about war. You were given toys that somehow depicted war: weapons, guns, swords, and soldiers. You were given the impression that on earth war is part of the norm. Most of you came to accept this, and it then became part of your state of equilibrium. This was necessary because how can you live on a planet like earth without accepting that war is a possibility?

On the other hand, how can you live on a planet where war is considered part of the norm? There is something deep within you that says: “This cannot be right. There must be something wrong here.” But you do not know what it is as a child.

Even constant conflict can give a superficial sense of equilibrium

On the one hand, you have a norm that gives you a sense of equilibrium, but at a deeper level of your being, you know that this norm is not right. The question is: “Where is your personal balance between the norm that has been imposed upon you from without and what you know to be true in your heart?” If you had completely surrendered to the norm imposed from without, you would not be listening to these words or reading them. You would be a “normal human being” who would not dabble into such esoteric spiritual concepts as ascended masters.

Many people on earth have completely surrendered to the norms of their society. There are even societies where people consider it completely normal to see themselves as being in a constant, existential conflict with other groups of people. Surely, you can mention the Middle East, but are there not many other situations where two groups of people have been locked in conflict for so long that both sides consider this normal?

Even though the people on both sides are in a constant state of agitation, this still gives them a sense of equilibrium, a sense that they know how life works in their environment. Strange as it may seem, even a state of constant conflict can give people a sense of equilibrium. If the conflict was removed, they would actually feel disturbed, compared to the relative sense of equilibrium they have now.

The dynamics of a downward spiral

This brings us to the topic that we have talked about in various books and dictations. Once the majority of the people on a planet have gone into a downward spiral, how shall they ever escape it? The downward spiral is created because people have come to accept a norm that limits their creative abilities. These people are not being the open doors for the light from the spiritual realm. If there is not a sufficient flow of light from the spiritual realm, then the people living on a particular planet will go into a downward spiral. Sooner or later, the second law of thermodynamics, as we have called it, will destroy their civilization. This is what has happened on earth to many previous civilizations, even some that thought they would endure forever, for they were so sophisticated and so powerful.

How shall a planet escape such a downward spiral? It can happen in only one way: There must be a critical mass of individuals who are willing to challenge the norm in their society. This may happen in any number of ways, as I know that all of you have experienced this in your own personal way. Something awakened you. Something made you realize that what the people in your society and family considered normal was not normal from a higher perspective. It was not normal in the sense that this is the way things are meant to be, or this is the only way that things can be.

You were, somehow, awakened to the idea that, at least in one area of society or one area of life, change was not only possible, change was absolutely a necessity. Someone had to do something to bring change, and you felt that there was something you could do. Otherwise, you would not have been awakened from the norm that was imposed upon you as you grew up.

There are many valid ways to make a contribution to breaking the negative spiral and improving life on a planet. Many things are needed. There are millions of people in the world who have never heard about ascended masters, who have never heard about spiritual light or invoking spiritual light, but they are still making a positive contribution to challenging the downward spiral on earth and creating an upward spiral on earth. These people do not all have to hear about ascended masters or invoking light. They need to be doing exactly what they are doing.

Nevertheless, I would like to give you a vision of what might happen if more people heard about the potential to invoke spiritual light directly and consciously. My beloved, from where should they hear this? Can it come from any other source than you, the people who have already experienced invoking spiritual light? What prevents you from going out and shouting from the housetops? What prevents you from no longer hiding your light under a bushel, the light that you have invoked, the enthusiasm and the joy you felt from invoking that light?

How invoking light can become a norm

It is precisely the mechanism that I have mentioned before that is one of the greatest threats to your spiritual growth. When you first hear about the teachings of the ascended masters and when you first begin to invoke spiritual light, there is such a contrast between the state of mind you experience after invoking light and your normal state of consciousness. You have a norm that is common on earth, and suddenly you experience that by studying the teachings of the ascended masters and invoking our light, you can experience an entirely different reality that is so much brighter, freer, more joyful.

What happens as you begin to invoke light on a regular basis? Suddenly, your sense of what is normal for you begins to shift. After some time, there is no longer this contrast between your normal state of consciousness and the state you have after invoking light. This is because your general state of consciousness has been raised to a higher level, and invoking light now becomes part of your norm. Because you no longer experience the contrast, you often begin to feel that perhaps invoking light is not so great, is not so important. You no longer feel the same enthusiasm and joy. Perhaps, you slack off a little bit and do not give as many rosaries or invocations and decrees. Perhaps, you begin to think about other conditions in your life that are pressing for your attention.

I am, in no way, blaming you for this. I have been in embodiment myself and I was for long periods completely overwhelmed by my daily responsibilities. It is easy to look back and read the Bible and how I interacted with Jesus during his mission. You think that I was always in that state of consciousness, always aware, always alert, but much of the time I was just like any other housewife or any other person in embodiment: completely absorbed in daily responsibilities. I am in no way blaming you. I am just making you aware that those of you who have discovered the power of invoking light are our best hope for bringing about real change on planet earth.

Earth is sustained by spiritual light

The simple fact is that what determines the future of this planet is the amount of light that is brought through from the spiritual realm to the four octaves of the material universe: the identity, mental, emotional, and physical octaves. We of the ascended masters up here in the spiritual realm have almost unlimited amounts of light that we are willing to release to earth. We certainly have more than sufficient light to completely consume any and all of the darkness found on earth. We could, theoretically, release this in one instant, but what would be the effect of this?

The effect would be that the light would be so shattering to people’s sense of what is normal that they would not be able to withstand it. Most people would feel that their lives were completely shattered by the light, for they are so used to the darkness that it is part of their norm and it is what gives them a sense of equilibrium. The light would be so disturbing that they would not be able to handle it. This is why we are not allowed to release too much light.

As we have explained many times before, what guides the evolution of life on earth is free will, the free will of the people in embodiment. That is why the law says that, even though we have sufficient light to consume all darkness on earth, we can only release that light through the minds of people in embodiment.

Become the open door for light

You, the people in embodiment, must become the open doors whereby we can release our light into the four levels of the material universe. Only by you fulfilling this role can our light be released. Only when our light is released will the darkness be consumed and things will change and phenomena like war will no longer be possible on earth. Do you not see that we have the light that will consume all war and potential for war on this planet? This could be done, theoretically, in the blink of an eye. In practical terms, it can be done in a matter of a few, short decades, if enough people became the open doors so that the light could be released in increments.

Do you understand the wisdom of letting the light be released through the minds of people in embodiment? This ensures that the light will not be released quicker than what people can adjust to. When you become an open door for a certain amount of our light to stream through your being, you can do this only by adjusting your norm so that you can withstand the light without having your sense of equilibrium disturbed. Because all human beings are connected, if you raise your norm, it will pull up on other people as well. Even though they might be disturbed by the light, they will not be overwhelmed by it so they feel that their world view and their equilibrium has been completely shattered.

When you adjust your norm, you make it easier for other people to adjust theirs. Those who are the forerunners for raising their consciousness are really the ones who determine how quickly the collective consciousness on earth can be raised. You are the ones who determine how quickly we can consume a phenomenon such as war or poverty or disease or old age or whatever you might have that needs to be consumed by the light.

Do you see that if you lose your sense of joy and enthusiasm about knowing the teachings, knowing the path, and invoking light, then you will not be as eager or as willing to witness to others what you experience? Then, the rings in the water will not spread as quickly. More people will not be awakened so that they also can invoke light. That is why I wish to make you aware of the tendency, that we all have, to be so overwhelmed by the daily grind that we adjust our sense of norm so that we do not feel the enthusiasm and the joy that we used to feel. Therefore, we do not share it with others so easily.

A sense of co-measurement

I would like to give you a sense of co-measurement. Since the 1930’s, students of the ascended masters have been deliberately invoking spiritual light through decrees. This was sponsored by Saint Germain and his release of the violet flame, but we have for many years also given other decrees that invoke the other seven rays.

My beloved, there are several ways for you to be an open door for spiritual light. I am in no way trying to say that it is only ascended master students, who consciously use decrees, that are the open doors for spiritual light. It is not my intent to say this. There are many, many people on earth who have raised their consciousness to such a level that there is constantly a certain amount of spiritual light streaming through their four lower bodies.

Most people who are deeply religious or spiritual are the open doors for such light. Many people who are not outwardly religious or spiritual are also the open doors for light through their kindness, their caring, and their compassion. Their willingness to help others, their willingness to raise the all in a positive way without using force or violence, this makes you an open door for the light.

Regardless of your level of consciousness, you can be an open door for much more light by using the decrees and invocations given by the ascended masters. There are a few people on earth who have reached such a level of consciousness that they do not need to use our decrees and invocations. Take note that I said there are “a few” people at this level. I am not saying that all spiritual people should use our decrees and invocations. What I am saying is that, for the vast majority of the spiritual and religious people, they could greatly increase the amount of light streaming through their beings by consciously using the decrees and invocations released by the ascended masters through various organizations.

How the light from Christmas affects earth

In order to give you a sense of co-measurement, I would like to refer to what is happening at this time of year. The reason I am giving you this dictation on Christmas morning is that there are few events, in fact there are no other events during the year, when so much light is released as around Christmas time. This is because the many people around the world who celebrate Christmas put their attention on the same event, the same traditions and rituals. Although they do it in different ways, it still creates a togetherness among all who celebrate Christmas, whether from this or that religious tradition. Many countries around the world, even those who are not Catholic, broadcast the midnight mass from St. Peter’s Basilica in Rome. There are over a billion Catholics who celebrate this together at the same time. When people put their minds together, driven by a positive urge, they do become the open doors for light in a greater measure than in their normal, daily lives.

You may look at these days around the Christmas celebration, and you may see that up to several billion people on earth focus their minds on this celebration and they are allowing a greater measure of light to shine through than normal. If you were to look at the earth with the vision we have as ascended masters, you could picture the earth as being dark, and then you could take one of these photographs taken from satellites during the night that shows you how much light there is around cities. You may even have seen photographs of how much the Christmas light has added to the normal streetlight in many areas of the world.

I can look at this from the ascended master perspective. I can see the normal level of the release of spiritual light on earth, and then I can see the increase around Christmas time. I can assure you that the increase is dramatic, but bear in mind that this is produced by billions of people participating in similar rituals at a similar time.

Using decrees release much more light

I wish to give you a sense of co-measurement. Let us say that we had 500 ascended master students*, sitting around the world in their own homes, but they decided to do a four-hour vigil of giving the rosaries and decrees and invocations released through this messenger. They would do this in the same four-hour time slot. I can tell you that if 500 people were to use the tools we have given, they could release more light in four hours than all of the billions of people celebrating Christmas. Five hundred people, my beloved, could release more light than billions of Christians who are not using the tools given by the ascended masters, the tools that we have given specifically for this time.

You could take the tools we have given in previous organizations and dispensations, and they could also achieve very spectacular results, but it would take more people. The further you go back in time, the more people it would take to achieve this same result because our previous tools were not as effective for this time as the tools we are releasing now. The tools we have released through this messenger are Aquarian-age tools. They will be effective for a very long time, although not forever. The tools we had given in previous dispensations were, to some degree, adapted to the transition between Pisces and Aquarius that those dispensations were meant to address. They were extremely effective tools for their time. They are still effective but not as effective as the tools that are specifically given for the first decades of the Aquarian age.

Consider, my beloved, that 500 people using the most effective tools available for invoking light could release more light than billions of people celebrating Christmas. I do not wish to limit the number to 500; it just so happens that this is the point where the balance would be achieved, the level where a four-hour vigil using our invocations and decrees would release more light than the Christmas celebration. Of course, if we had a thousand, two thousand, ten thousand, or even more people around the world who would invoke light, even if it were not at the same time, then the effect would be many, many times greater.

I can assure you that when you look at the earth, anyone using our invocations and decrees will create a light that is noticeable. It is as noticeable as a very bright light would be for a satellite looking at the dark earth.

There is no wasted effort

You, of course, do not normally feel what I am saying here when you give your decrees and invocations. This is because you are inside the system of the earth; you are experiencing life from the inside. You are under the burden of the cloud of the mass consciousness and the negative energies. Even when you give decrees and invocations, you may still be feeling this, and in many cases, you do not have time in your daily lives to give the decrees and invocations long enough to consciously experience being above the energies.

I do understand that many of you have busy lives where you cannot give two or three or four hours of decrees and invocations in order to raise yourself above the negative energies. I am only telling you this because I want you to know that even if you give 15 minutes of decrees or invocations, it still has a tremendous effect, even if you do not consciously feel it.

There is no effort made by using these tools that is ever wasted. There is no effort made that does not have a significant positive impact on the future of both your personal life and growth and the planet. I am not trying to say that you should go around feeling spiritual pride and feeling that you are better than other people. On the other hand, I am saying that you should not allow the daily grind and the weight of the energies to make you feel that this doesn’t matter, that it isn’t making any difference, that who cares about what you are doing?

We of the ascended masters care very much about every human being who is an open door for the light. We care especially for those who are making conscious use of the tools we have released for the purpose of shifting the earth to a higher level. We see the significance of every minute you spend invoking light. It is not insignificant what you do. It is extremely significant.

I fully understand that you do not experience it that way. I did not experience what I did 2,000 years ago as being particularly significant. The difficulty of being in embodiment is that you are so overwhelmed by the energies that are so heavy on earth that you lose the ascended master perspective. We all experienced this when we were in embodiment. That is precisely why we of the ascended masters are giving dictations in order to give you that perspective, in order to help you awaken, at least for a time, to the greater perspective. If you did not have the greater perspective, you would just be living according to the norm in your society, and then the downward spiral could never be broken.

I am not blaming you for feeling what you are feeling. I am only seeking to give you a sense of co-measurement and inspire you to know that it does matter what you do. Every time you take an invocation or decree and open your mouth, there are angels who are standing ready to take the light released and put it to the best possible use in raising the earth. When people come together for the Christmas celebration, millions of angels stand ready to take the light and put it to the best possible use. When you open your mouth to give a decree or an invocation, the angels are ready. It is never wasted. It will always have a positive impact.

The challenge of being in embodiment on a planet as heavy as earth is to know in your heart that what you do makes a difference and then continue to do it even though you do not directly experience the difference that it makes. I can assure you that when you leave embodiment, you will be shown the difference that it made that you gave the invocations and decrees. Any positive difference you have made through whatever activity will be shown to you after you leave embodiment. I fully understand that this is not much comfort to you right now. I fully understand that many of you feel overwhelmed, especially at this dark time of the year where it is easy to feel alone and feel like: “Does it really matter? Does it make any difference? Is it really worth it?”

My beloved, it does matter! It does make a difference! You decide whether that makes it worth it. I have already made my decision, and I know it is worth it. I am eternally grateful for all those people who have used our decrees and invocations. I have now released over 150 rosaries and invocations through this messenger. More will be forthcoming, I can assure you. I do this because I know it makes a difference.

Even if only one person gave an invocation one time, it would make a difference, but, of course, my vision is far greater. My vision is that in the future thousands of people will come together, as you saw in St. Peter’s in Rome yesterday for the midnight mass, and they will give decrees and invocations in unison. This will not happen in St. Peter’s Basilica—that I do not envision. I do envision people coming together both physically and over the internet and giving these tools, using them with full awareness of how powerful they are.

Where is the Spirit?

If you were to look at this midnight mass yesterday, or earlier today if you will, what would strike you is that here you have one of the biggest church congregations in the world. You have this big, huge building. You have all these people coming together and all of these people watching on TV. When you look at this spectacle, my beloved, I have one simple question for you: “Where is the spirit? Where is the opening for the spirit?” Be honest and look at the people who come up to read, to preach, to sing. Do you see them being overpowered by the spirit? Do you see them daring to be the open door and put some kind of feeling into their voices? It is not that you cannot be an open door for some light by being a good Catholic or a good Protestant or whatever. But if you dare to open yourself to the positive feelings of spirit, you can be so much more of an open door.

Look at the Pope, my beloved, and be honest. He is the head of over a billion Catholics, but where is the Spirit? Do you not see a tired, old man? It is very understandable that he is tired, for he is carrying an enormous weight of energy, but where does the energy come from? It comes from the entire structure of the Catholic Church, which produces the negative energy that becomes focused on the Pope and almost knocks him to the ground.

There are very few people who have the spiritual attainment to be in a position like the Pope and not be completely overwhelmed by the energies focused upon him. Those people who have the spiritual attainment would never volunteer to be in that position, for they would know that they could not move the system, even with their spiritual attainment. They would walk away to positions where they could be of better use.

The Catholic Church produces negative energy

The system itself produces more negative energy than positive energy. I have said that a lot of positive energy is released at the Christmas celebration, and it is true, but throughout the year, the Catholic Church as a system produces more negative than positive energy. This should be a cause for great concern for anyone who has an interest in the Catholic Church or the Christian religion at large, for the same is true there.

The Catholic Church is not contributing to the upward spiral on earth. It is not significantly contributing to the downward spiral in terms of energy, but it is contributing to the downward spiral by keeping so many people locked in a very limited worldview and a focus on these traditions and rituals that are not releasing Light.

How can it be that over a billion Catholics are not able to feel that there is no light? It is precisely because the state of the lack of light has become their norm. Of course, thousands if not millions of people are feeling the lack of light, and that is why they are leaving the Catholic Church. Still, so many are locked there because they think that the way the church is now is the way it should be, or the only way it could be.

They think the lack of Light in a religious organization or a religious service is normal. In fact, it gives them a sense of equilibrium. Look at some of the people who are sitting there in Saint Peter’s on the front rows being on television. Look at how they feel important in their positions. This gives them a sense of equilibrium, and if the Light came in to show them how hollow the outer position is, it would disturb their equilibrium. They do not want to be disturbed so they do not want the light.

Reconnect to your enthusiasm

My beloved, I am not saying this to lament about the state of the church but to give you a way to reconnect to this enthusiasm you feel. What was the enthusiasm you felt when you first found the ascended masters’ teachings? You may think it was that you got these wonderful teachings that answered so many of your questions, but the real source of the enthusiasm and joy was that you encountered the Light, the spiritual Light, in a greater measure than you had ever encountered it before.

Why do you, perhaps, not feel the same enthusiasm today? Because the level of Light that you receive has now become a norm. How do you reconnect? How do you rekindle your enthusiasm?  By raising the level of light that can stream through you so that you still feel the newness of the light. If you want to maintain your enthusiasm for the spiritual path, you need to stay ahead of your outer mind’s tendency to turn everything into a norm. This is one of the simple secrets to experiencing the spiritual path as a joyful process, rather than the Via Dolorosa.

I admit, my beloved, that I could not always do this while I was in my last embodiment. Do not look at my last embodiment and allow your ego to say: “Well, if Mother Mary couldn’t do it, how should I be able to do it?” You should, instead, look at my last embodiment and say: “But I am living in a different time where the energies are in fact lighter than 2,000 years ago. I have the teachings of the ascended masters. I have the tools that Mother Mary did not have 2,000 years ago. I should, if I am willing to apply my knowledge and tools, be able to do better.”

Exceed your image of the masters

This is the difference between an ascended master and those lesser teachers who are either in physical embodiment or in the lower identity, the mental, or the emotional realms. The teachers who are not ascended want to set themselves up in a position. Although they are talking to you about how you can raise your consciousness and do all these wonderful things, they are not really interested in you exceeding them or the idolatrous image of them you have built. I am an ascended being. I know that especially the Catholics around the world have built an idolatrous image of me in my last embodiment. I do not want you to be limited by that image. I want you to exceed it. I want you to realize that you can do better in your last embodiment than I did in mine.

How else shall times progress? Do you not understand that this is the whole idea behind progressive revelation and a progressive spiral of initiation? When Saint German qualified for his ascension several hundred years ago, he had reached a certain level of consciousness. There are those among ascended master students today who can reach a higher level of consciousness before they ascend. Why would that be a threat to Saint Germain? I can assure you it is not.

There are people who have the potential to reach a higher level of consciousness in their last embodiment in this age than Jesus reached 2,000 years ago. Do you think Jesus is threatened by this? Do you think Jesus wants you to hold back and hide your light so that you do not overshadow him? Nay, my beloved. Jesus wants you to do the greater works that he promised 2,000 years ago that those who believed on him could do. That is how Jesus feels the ultimate fulfillment of his mission as a teacher and example on earth.

Shine your light

Do not hide your light under a bushel. Do not hide your enthusiasm under a bushel. Do not hide it from yourself, first of all, but do not hide it from others either. Dare to let your light so shine before men that they can see that it is not your light but must come from a source beyond this world for which you have become the open door. Dare to tell them that they, too, can become an open door for that light and that the best way to start this process is to use the decrees and invocations given by those ascended masters who have already become one with the light.

We have become the source of the light that you can receive, for no one in embodiment can produce the light. You can only receive light from above, and that light is not even produced by the ascended masters, but it is released by us in a form that you can receive on earth. There is no greater joy for us as ascended masters than to experience the light flowing through us and being received by someone on earth so that the circle, the figure-eight, is closed. The light that flows to you is put to good use to raise the all, and flows back to us whereby we can release more light to you in an accelerating spiral that has no limit from our side.

Try us, my beloved, and experience that we do not limit the flow of light. Grow towards the point where you can accept that you do not have to limit it either. Then comes that point where you do not limit the light, for you have become the open door, and you know this will make the earth more.

Ascended Master Mother Mary, August 19, 2014 through Kim Michaels

My beloved hearts, I am Mother Mary, the ascended master who holds the office of the Divine Mother for earth. It is possible for me to attune my consciousness to the pain and suffering that is happening all over the earth. This is not something I do often. It is not something I encourage you to do, for you might easily be overwhelmed by the cries of pain that are rising from human beings in embodiment, from elemental life, and even from the body of the earth Mother.

Yet, it is necessary, once in a while, to take a look at the world and see where there are situations that cause more pain than normal. It is necessary, once in a while, to allow your attention to focus on the issues that need your calls, your invocations, your decrees, your visualization of a divine solution to a man-made problem that has no man-made solution.

A prophecy about the Middle East

Thus, I will begin this discourse by focusing on the situation in the Middle East, where you have seen the civil war in Syria going on for years, and now you see something that is beginning to approach a civil war in Iraq. My beloved, I would draw your attention to a prophecy I made on the first of January 2008, and therefore, I ask the messenger to read from that dictation:

“Unless the moderate people in Islam finally rise up and take a stand against extremism, well then, it will be impossible to stop an escalating conflict that will literally tear the Islamic world apart. And you might think that this will lead to a war against the West, but I tell you, it will not be a war against the West. For once the cat is out of the bag, so to speak, there will be so much infighting amongst the Islamic nations that they will have very little energy, weapons, and attention left over for fighting against the West, being so concerned about first killing their own brothers. I can assure you that there will be a great fracturing of the Islamic world where entire nations could potentially disappear and dissolve into smaller areas, each ruled by their certain chieftain or warlord who is against all others. Such an upheaval is the potential in the Islamic world that it will literally be like the scorched earth, where entire cities can be destroyed; entire cultures can be almost wiped away.”

My beloved, what you are seeing right now is the beginning of this prophecy unfolding. Entire cities have been wiped away; entire cultures have been forced to flee out of where people have lived for centuries. There is no joy in a prophecy being fulfilled, but there is a certain sense of realism that needs to dawn upon the nations of the world.

I have said it before that it is impossible to impose a Western-style democracy on the Middle East. But what needs to dawn on the Western nations, and which has not dawned until this moment, is the realization that you cannot treat people in the Middle East the same way you treat each other in the Western world or in the modern, developed world. The entire ideal that you can solve conflict through peaceful negotiations is simply not applicable to the people in the Middle East. What, then, should the Western nations do? What, indeed?

Why man-made problems have no solutions

This is a man-made problem. It is not a problem made in modern times. It is not a problem made by the Western nations, even though there are people in the Islamic nations who are always pointing the finger at the West. The Western nations somehow feel responsible for this situation, but this is a false sense of responsibility.

I am not in any way denying that the Western nations have always, at least in the recent century, attempted to influence events in the Middle East. I am not denying that there are huge, international, world corporations that have attempted to influence nations. I am not denying that Western nations want to maintain a steady supply of oil from the Middle East. What I am saying is that the Western, democratic nations need to stop feeling responsible for stopping a conflict that they have not created, regardless of the rhetoric coming out of certain Islamist extremists. The Western nations are not responsible for the current misery in the Middle East.

As I have talked about before, no people on the face of this earth are more divided amongst themselves than the Arab people and the people in the Middle East in general. This is the problem that Islam was meant to address: to stop the fighting amongst the Arab people. But this has not happened. As you can clearly see, Islam has been used to divide Sunni and Shi’a but also other factions. How many other factions are there, my beloved? I can of course count this, but there are so many that, for most human beings in embodiment, it is impossible to even keep track of them, for they morph all the time and change their names and do this and do that.

This division is the problem, this division where you are willing to kill your brothers and sisters indiscriminately in order to further what you see as a desirable end. You may say that it is God’s Will to establish an Islamic state based on Sharia law. You may say that because this end is so important, any means that you deem necessary to accomplish that end are automatically justifiable. You may believe that they are justifiable in the eyes of God and that he will reward you for doing his work on earth, but you are mistaken. And because you are completely mistaken, you become a tool for the forces who oppose God. There is no other way to state this from a sense of realism.

How the West furthers the conflict in the Middle East

What I said in 2008 was that the moderate people in Arab nations needed to awaken and make their voices heard. Have they done so? They have attempted to do so, but have they yet done so to the point where it has had a major impact on the region? No, they have not, my beloved. What needs to be questioned is the entire mentality that the ends can justify the means. Then it needs to be seen honestly that Islam, Judaism, Christianity, and other religions and political philosophies have been used to define an end that justifies the means of killing your own brothers and sisters.

This is the very consciousness that needs to be acknowledged and addressed. My beloved, it is the overcoming of this very consciousness that is the foundation for Western-style democracies. This consciousness has been overcome to a critical degree, or democracies could not have been established and have survived for as long as they have. What the Western world will not recognize is that the progress made in their part of the world has not been made in Islamic nations in the Middle East, and that is why there can be no negotiation on equal terms with such people. What, then, can the West do? Clearly, we are not encouraging a military intervention like the invasion of Iraq, but what they can do is stop supplying the arms and the credit that enables this fighting to start and to go on, and to go on, and to go on.

My beloved, how is it possible that a small group of people in a nation like Syria and Iraq suddenly have such an abundant supply of weapons that they can wage a war against an established and well-equipped government with a trained and fairly large army? How is this possible unless they received those weapons from some source outside their own country? This, my beloved, is something that the Western world has not been willing to address openly and honestly.

It is partly because the Western world itself is engaged in supplying arms to various groups around the world because they still have remnants of the consciousness that there are certain ends which justify killing and justifies the supply of weapons to those who are willing to kill. This must end, and I look to you who are the spiritual people to make the calls and hold the vision that there will be a major exposure of arms dealing around the world, how it is tied to governments even in the West.

Have you not seen in the last few years how even the American nation has been embarrassed by the leak of information? Do you think, my beloved, that there is no more information that could be leaked? I tell you, there are mountains of information that could be leaked, and that potentially need to be leaked. The governments themselves are not willing to do the necessary house cleaning and recognize that you cannot, on the one hand, claim to have a free nation with a democratic form of government and at the same time, under the table, be supplying arms to various groups who are not loyal to democratic ideals, but are simply seeking a temporary advantage, and are willing to kill in order to accomplish it.

What has happened time and time again is that democratic nations have made severe karma – and, quite frankly, none have made more severe karma in the democratic world than the United States – by supplying weapons to various groups that have no reverence for life. How long can a democratic government, a democratic form of government, survive if it loses reverence for life, if it sets aside reverence for life in order to achieve some temporary goal?

Why people are willing to kill each other

What is this willingness to kill in order to further some kind of end? It is, my beloved, a perversion of both the Divine Mother and the Divine Father. What you see is, of course, that the Mother is the physical realm. This is where things manifest as physical events. So what human beings do is that they look at the situation, as it is right now in the physical octave. Based on what they are experiencing right now, they define a goal. In many cases, there are unpleasant circumstances that cause them pain or other inconveniences, and they want to get away from the pain. Therefore, they formulate a goal based on the temporary circumstances they see right now. This is a perversion of the Mother because the Mother should be in complete alignment with the long-term, timeless goals of the Father. What is the long-term goal of the Father? It is that all human beings on earth are raised in consciousness.

It is not the long-term goal of the Father to establish an Islamic state that covers the entire world, nor is it the long-term goal of God to establish a Christian state that takes over the world. It is the long-term goal of the Father that any circumstance on earth serves the purpose that is the only purpose on earth, namely the raising of consciousness. This is the goal.

God does not have a specific physical outcome that is his supreme will. Throughout history, both religions and political philosophies have been used to come up with a definition that says: “This is the overall, supreme, absolute goal for what should or should not happen on earth.” This is the perversion of the Father where you take this idea of an absolute goal and you say: “The establishment of an Islamic State, of a Communist world, of a Christian nation, or even of democratic and free nations around the world is so important that it sets aside the reverence for life.” The Father’s overall, absolute goal for planet earth is that people are allowed to exercise their free will until they have had enough of a certain experience and say: “We want more.”

It is now possible to say, as many people have said over the centuries: “Well then, should we not allow people to do whatever they want without interfering?” This, my beloved, is exactly what you should do; you should not interfere with the internal affairs of a country or a group of people. Of course, in the present situation on earth, it is necessary for you to defend yourself against those other people interfering with you and your nation. Therefore, it is, unfortunately, necessary to have a certain form of defense. I am not saying that this is ultimately justified. I am saying it is necessary in order to prevent a greater calamity, but this is a double-edged sword. It is a very delicate balance, and that is exactly what I am seeking to point out.

You are not responsible for how people outplay their minds

It is not that we are sitting here as the ascended masters having a black-and-white judgment of the nations of the earth. There is, again, a long-standing tendency of wanting to have this black-and-white view where you can look at any situation and say: “This is right. This is wrong. Those people are wrong, and we are right. Because we are right, it is justified that we do what is needed to stop those who are wrong.”

My beloved, it is God’s will that free will on earth is allowed to outplay itself. There are certain times where you must stand by and watch while there is such fighting in a nation that it literally tears that nation apart. I know that you can come up with humanitarian concerns and say: “When does it become the international community’s responsibility to go in and stop, for example, the massacres and the torture you have seen in Syria and Iraq?” But you see, again, there are times when the international community must allow these events to outplay themselves, but they should do everything possible to stop the flow of arms into these nations.

This, of course, is not a simple issue. I am, again, not saying there is an easy solution. What I am saying is that there needs to be a raising of awareness where you recognize that the ends cannot justify the means. This means that, for a modern, democratic nation, it is necessary to recognize that when you have dedicated your nation to a peaceful resolution of conflict, you cannot go in and use force and violence in a nation or an area that has not reached your level of consciousness.

You must stop feeling responsible for those people who are still living in a medieval state of mind and have not yet outplayed it to the point where they have had enough of it and want more. This is the test that the modern nations are facing right now and will be facing potentially for one to two decades. Hopefully, they will rise above this test before it, but if they do not, you will see more and more of these man-made conflicts, problems, and atrocities that will seemingly defy any solution.

You see, my beloved, a perversion of the Mother is to be willing to kill in the name of some superior goal. This is one perversion of the Mother, but the other perversion of the Mother is where you take sympathy so far that you try to prevent any kind of suffering. Both of these perversions of the Mother spring from a failure to understand the absolute nature of the Law of Free Will. You do not, according to the Law of Free Will, have the right to forcefully stop other people from exercising their free will. The Omega aspect is that you are not responsible for mitigating or alleviating the suffering caused by people exercising their free will. This is a very difficult test that all of us who have ascended have had to face.

You cannot be indiscriminately compassionate

Jesus himself faced it because he did come to a state of consciousness, a level of Christ attainment, where he had the ability to heal the physical ailments of any person he encountered. There was not a single person among the tens of thousands of people that Jesus met during his three-year mission that he could not have healed. Jesus was many times moved by compassion of seeing the suffering of other people, wanting to alleviate that suffering by healing the person.

In the beginning of his mission, he did, in several instances, heal people out of pure compassion. It was only later – and again, I had some role in helping him see this – that he came to the realization that there were people who, regardless of how much they were suffering, needed to not be healed. Because only by experiencing the suffering, would they eventually come to the point where they had had enough of experiencing life through this filter of being a victim that is constantly suffering. Only then would they be willing to start taking responsibility for themselves, look at themselves and say: “What is it that I can change in myself?”

So many people who are suffering are constantly looking outside themselves for solutions or alleviation from their suffering. In a universe where free will reigns supreme, your suffering is never caused exclusively by other people. Now, be careful to use discernment here.

In a universe where free will reigns supreme, there are many times where you are not in control of the actions of other people, where they come in and use force against you. Nevertheless, what you need to ask yourself is: “What is it in my consciousness that caused me to be magnetized to this situation? There are people in the world who are not being forced by others. So why have I magnetized myself to a situation where I am being forced? What is it I need to learn from this situation? What is it I need to see in myself that is keeping me trapped in these reactionary patterns of reacting against others who are using force against me? What is it in me that is preventing me from being free to live without this oppression?”

What you must do in order to ascend

My beloved, how do you ascend? You ascend by realizing that the prince of this world cannot force you to stay in this world. The prince of this world cannot keep you out of the kingdom of the ascended state. How do you come to the point where the prince of this world has nothing in you? Only by being willing to look at yourself and ask yourself: “What is it that the prince in this world has in me that gives him an inroad into my consciousness, that makes me think there is something I cannot let go off? And precisely because I cannot let go of this, I am not free to ascend.”

You see, my beloved, those of you who have the potential to ascend after this lifetime need to look at the life of Jesus and his words. You need to look beyond what I have talked about earlier this year of feel-good spirituality and realize that Jesus’ form of spirituality was not radical, not extremist; it was simply realistic. Jesus was realistic in realizing that when it is your last embodiment and you are seeking to qualify for your ascension, you have to take some steps that will seem extremist to ordinary people in the feel-good consciousness. That is why he told you to forgive seventy times seven, to be willing to lose your life for the sake of following Christ, in other words, to be willing to give up any attachment to anything in this world in order to follow Christ. This is the only way that you can personally qualify for your ascension.

It is also the only way that the nations of the world, who are the more developed nations, can move out of the quagmire of seeking to solve man-made problems with man-made means. Do you not see that if the more developed democratic nations are to get out of this pattern of feeling that they have to react to everything that is going on in the Middle East and elsewhere, they have to ascend in consciousness? They have to ascend to a higher level where they are not pulled into any of these conflicts that are going on around the world. Otherwise, you will bind yourself to doing what the United States did with the invasion in Iraq, which I think has been generally recognized was a mistake. You cannot continue to do this because there are too many nations that are so far back that there is no way the democratic world has the means or the money to fight all of these battles.

What can you do? You can raise yourself, regardless of what others do. This is the step you can take when you personally are ready to go beyond what I have called feel-good spirituality where you think: “It’s all good.” What you do is that you look at the situation in the world, and then you look at your reaction to it, and then you make a very critical assessment.

As I said in the beginning, it is necessary for you to see what is going on in the world so that you know where to make your calls. This may also apply to your personal situation concerning the people you meet. You see that there are certain people that are trapped in a certain pattern. You make the calls for them to be cut free or be healed. You may take action in the form of talking to them about this but always by respecting their free will and not seeking to force their choices. If you find yourself being attached to producing a certain result in terms of changing other people, then you know here is the hook that the prince of this world is using to tie you to this world.

Internal spirits are formed and react in pairs

My beloved, let me give you a deeper teaching on how this works and why this is so critical. We have talked about many things over the years that can help you understand the patterns in yourself that keep you trapped, imprisoned in this world. We have talked about the ego. We have, in the last few years, talked about the creation of internal spirits. In previous dispensations, we talked about something called the dweller on the threshold, which can be seen as an internal spirit that is waiting on the threshold where you rise to a new level of awareness.

Before you can rise, you must deal with that dweller, with that spirit that seeks to keep you at the existing level. Until you see that dweller and resolve the belief that gives it a hook in your consciousness, you cannot rise. This is just another word for the internal spirits. What I would like to draw your attention to is that we have actually now given a higher teaching than the teaching on the dweller because the dweller was presented as if it was one being, one entity, one spirit. What we have said with the creation of internal spirits is that they are always created in pairs. This is an essential teaching to contemplate, and here is why.

Let us say that you observe your own reactions to certain other people or to what is going on in the world. Let us say, for example, to keep this impersonal, that you look at the Islamic extremists who are massacring people deliberately to instil terror. Let us say that you become very upset over this and you say: “This is absolutely wrong! Our government should send in troops or planes to stop this. These people should be killed because they obviously will not stop killing other people.” I am here deliberately not talking about the outer situation. I am only talking about your reaction. What I want you to see here is how this relates to the creation of spirits in pairs.

People are trapped between two spirits

There is a worldwide spirit that causes people to believe the ends can justify the means, and therefore it is justifiable that they use force in order to achieve an end. This is what you see with the people in Iraq. They have completely surrendered their free will to this worldwide spirit. They are feeding their energy into the spirit, and the energy released when they massacre and torture other people is also fed into the spirit. They feel a temporary sense of empowerment by doing what they are doing, but in the end, it depletes them of energy, and they end up feeling lower and lower.

Nevertheless, my point here is this: This is one spirit. It does not exist in isolation. It was created along with another spirit. The one spirit says it is okay to use force and to kill other people to achieve a goal. What does the opposite spirit say, my beloved? It says that the first spirit is wrong. The opposite spirit says that the people who are embodying the first spirit must be stopped even with force, if necessary.

Can you not see, or at least begin to see, how human beings on the individual level and even on the national level, even on the worldly level, have been trapped in the interplay between those two spirits? Some people have become completely blinded and overtaken by the first spirit, and then others have seen the atrocities committed by those people. They have felt the compassion of how wrong this is. I am not saying it is not wrong. But these people have then reacted by saying: “It is justifiable for us to kill those people who are doing what is wrong.” Can you not see that by doing this, by reacting this way, they simply opened themselves up so they are taken over by the opposite spirit of the first spirit? Now both sides in this conflict are feeding their energies into these spirits.

A pattern that you can apply to yourself

Now let me take this to a personal level, and let me make it personal to this messenger, who since 2009 has been exposed to a very direct attack on his person and character by certain people. In the beginning, he reacted exactly as most people do. He realized it was wrong what they were doing. He felt it was wrong, and he wanted it to stop. What he did not do was take action, forceful action, to stop it. He could have engaged in a fight against these people, trying to prove them wrong, but he was able to stop himself from doing this. But he was not able to stop himself from reacting to it, and this is the point that I want to bring out. What was it that caused his reaction? It was the opposite spirit of the spirit that was causing the other people to attack him.

My beloved, this is a pattern you can apply to yourself. Remember, your goal is: “I want to qualify for my ascension. In order to qualify for my ascension, I have to overcome all internal spirits in my being. In order to overcome an internal spirit, I have to see it. What is the most effective way to see my internal spirits? It is to see how I react to other people. If I am disturbed by other people doing something, if I am attached, if I go over this again and again, feeling these people should be stopped, these people should change, they should be made to see what they are doing, and I need to try to make them see this.” My beloved, whenever you see this reaction, this is your internal spirit that is reacting against the spirit you see in the other people.

One spirit can see the faults of its opposite

It has been said that it is so easy to see the faults of others. Jesus talked about seeing the splinter in the eyes of your brother but not seeing the beam in your own eye. Well, what you could actually say is that you are seeing the spirit in the eye of your brother, but you are not seeing the spirit in yourself. Why not?

The reason you see the spirit in your brother is that you are seeing through the perception filter of the spirit in yourself. Because you are seeing through the filter, you cannot see that it is a filter. Therefore, you cannot see the spirit, which can hide behind the filter. Do you not see, my beloved, how this works? Be willing to look at yourself. How many times have you been so good at seeing what other people are doing wrong? How many times have you found yourself come up with arguments: “They are doing this wrong. They shouldn’t be doing this. They should be made to see this, and they should be made to change.”

My beloved, when you approach other people from this state of mind that they should be made to see what they are doing, how many times have you been successful in changing them? Here is the reason why, as we have already given some teachings about, but I want to bring it up again. Why is it you cannot convince them that you are right?

It is because they are looking at the situation and their own behavior through the perception filter of their internal spirit. You are thinking that you are looking at it neutrally, that you have the right vision, that you are seeing reality, but you are not. You are looking at the situation through the perception filter of your spirit. Your spirit is not better than the other spirit. They were both created at the same time because they were created as a pair. The reason you can see the faults in the other people is precisely that there is no one who is better at seeing the fault in the opposite spirit than the spirit that you have.

When you have two spirits that were created as a pair, is it not logical that the one spirit can see all the faults in the other spirit and vice versa? You are looking at the situation through the perception filter of one spirit that sees all the faults in the spirit that the other person has. Of course, the other person is looking at the situation through the perception filter of that spirit and that spirit can see all the faults in your spirit and the arguments raised by your spirit. Will there ever be a meeting of the minds, my beloved?

No, because two opposing spirits can never meet. You never have, in the entire history of the universe, seen two opposing spirits who got together and said: “You know what? I think we got this all wrong. Let’s just sit down and agree.” This, my beloved, never happens. But two human beings can do this if each of them – each of them – is willing to transcend their internal spirit. If both transcend their spirit, then there can be a meeting of the minds of the people. Spirits will never meet, but people can because people are more than the spirits. This, my beloved, I trust you can see.

Don’t be attached to a certain outer result

What is it that you need to do? You need to look at your reaction and say: “What is my spirit?” And then you need to make the calls to me, to any ascended master who is close to your heart, to your Christ self, to your I AM Presence: “Show me the spirit!” Then, you need to decide honestly: “I want to see the spirit! Even if it causes me some temporary pain and embarrassment, I want to see the spirit because I want to move on.” Why do you want to move on? Because you are dedicated to life.

Do you remember Jesus said: “Let the dead bury their dead,” “Unless you partake of the body and blood of Christ, you have no life in you,” and “I am come that all might have life and that they might have it more abundantly.” What is life? Life is a process, my beloved.

Life is an ongoing process of the transcendence of consciousness. This is the Father’s supreme will—ongoing transcendence of consciousness through free will. That is why I said: “It is not God’s will that a specific physical result be achieved on earth.” Do you see that, in the process of life, there can be no absolute or final outcome? Any outcome is just a step in the ongoing process of self-transcendence. Therefore, life never stops. It is only the ego and the spirits who want to stop life. It is only they who want to focus on a result.

Do you not see that one spirit is created to achieve a specific result on earth, and the opposing spirit is created to prevent the manifestation of that choice? Therefore, they will never agree, and the people who are trapped by them will never make peace. You may have people who are attacking you. They may never change. They may stay trapped in that attacking spirit for the rest of this embodiment. But that is not your concern because the Law of Free Will is set up to make sure that they will receive what they are sending out. That same law will also make sure that you are receiving what you are sending out. If you are sending out something through a spirit that opposes the spirits of other people, then you are producing a force-based impulse and this will come back to you.

Transcending the reactionary pattern of internal spirits

What you need to do – if you want to ascend – is to stop sending out any force-based impulses. You need to stop sending out anything through the filter of these spirits, and therefore, you need to stop opposing anything. You are not here, my beloved, to oppose anyone or anything through force. You are not here to produce a specific physical result.

My beloved, this messenger recently had a discussion with a person who advocated the idea that you can instantly change your consciousness and then your problems will go away. This is part of what I call “feel-good spirituality.” Now, it is perfectly valid that you do need to change your consciousness. You do need to become more heart-centered. There is no question about it. But what I want to point out is that discouragement is the sharpest tool in the devil’s toolkit.

There are many, many people on earth who cannot instantly change their consciousness because, as this messenger pointed out, they have so much misqualified energy in their energy fields that it keeps pulling them into the old patterns. Unless they do the work to transmute that energy, they will not be free. Unless they do the work to look for the spirits that cause them to maintain self-destructive beliefs, they will not be free.

What happens is that when you come and say: “Oh, just change your consciousness. Be positive. Be heart-centered.” And then, people cannot do this, they feel: “Well, if other people can do it, and if these people are right, and this is all I need to do, there must be something wrong with me.” Then, they become discouraged, and they might give up on the Path, or they might simply continue, but still they feel inside that they are deficient.

This, my beloved, is another spirit. There is a spirit that says: “Oh you should be able to just walk away from everything and pretend like you never did anything wrong. You never misqualified any energy, and you don’t need to transmute it.” Then there is an opposite spirit that says: “If you can’t do this, there is something wrong with you, or there is something wrong with the path, or there is something wrong with this guru or that guru.”

You see, again, how these spirits are created deliberately to oppose each other so that if you are not trapped in the one spirit, you will be trapped in the other, and you will be damned if you do or damned if you don’t. My beloved, it is time to rise above this reactionary pattern, to look at these spirits and say: “Get thee behind me, Satan. I will have none of you in my being, neither this one or the opposing one or the third one and its opposing spirit and so on.”

Use the tools to free yourself and the world

It is time, and we have prepared you by giving you all the teachings and the tools we have given you, that you can make that step if you are willing. My beloved, we have, since 2002, released sufficient teachings and sufficient tools through this messenger that anyone who applies them with a willingness to change will experience lasting results.

I cannot guarantee you that, if you follow the outer teachings and use the tools, you will automatically make a shift in consciousness. What I can guarantee you is that if you apply the teachings and the tools, you will come to the point where there will be absolute minimum resistance to you making the necessary choice, the necessary shift in consciousness. You can suddenly see this menagerie of spirits and start saying: “Oh, I don’t want you anymore. And I don’t want the opposite one either. You are both gone from my being.” This, my beloved, is your personal potential to be free. It is also the best way you can help the overall situation on earth and help the more evolved nations transcend this same pattern of reacting against something else. Can you not see this happening again and again?

Logical questions about the situation in Ukraine

Look at the situation in Ukraine. The Russian-speaking people and the people in Russia have surrendered and are blinded by one spirit, but most people in Ukraine are blinded by another. They are opposing each other, instead of being able to find a different solution that transcends the old patterns. My beloved, as much as we do not encourage, in any way, that Russia interferes in Ukraine, it must also be stated why Ukraine has attracted this situation. It is, again, because there is not enough of a willingness to transcend the old.

It simply, my beloved, cannot be logical that a nation as large as Ukraine – with the potential it has, given its natural resources –  cannot have a sustainable economy. This is not logical. It can only be because there is an elitist tendency where certain people are seeking to exploit the population. The population has been allowing this because they are not willing to take responsibility for themselves and for their nation. They are not willing to transcend, as I have talked about before and as we have talked about several times, the consciousness of the Soviet era, the consciousness of being oppressed by an outside force.

The downing of Flight MH-17 over Ukraine

My beloved, let me briefly comment on the event of the downing of the airliner in Ukraine. This should be an event that would shock everybody to realize that this entire situation needs to be reassessed and approached from a higher perspective.

How can it be that there is the availability of a weapon that can shoot down a plane flying so high in the sky that it could not – in any way, shape, or form – be a threat to the two factions in Ukraine? There is no way you can construe that this plane was seen as a military threat to someone on the ground and, as a defensive measure, they shot down this airplane flying at thirtythousand feet.

Therefore, you can only reason that someone deliberately shot down that plane, knowing what they were doing, that this was not a military aircraft, and therefore, it had to be a civilian aircraft. Now then, it needs to be asked why someone would do this? What is the state of mind of the people who did this, the people who supplied the weapons, and the people who supplied the experts and the training that allowed them to operate this fairly complex weapons system?

It also needs to be asked why certain forces in Ukraine would not allow the international community to come in and investigate the crash site and recover the bodies of the civilians who had been brutally and unnecessarily murdered. If you claim that it was the others who did this, why are you then resisting an international investigation to establish the cause? If you know you are not the cause, why would you resist the investigation? Why indeed, my beloved?

Be free from the illusory world of opposing spirits

I have given you more than enough in one installment, and I shall return at some future time to give you, perhaps, a more uplifting message. But then again, if you do not see this message as uplifting, I would submit to you that it is because you are experiencing this message through a particular spirit.

Truly, anything that comes from the ascended masters is an expression of realism, and realism is always uplifting. Reality sets you free from the illusory world of opposing spirits.

I am a Spirit, a free, ascended Spirit. There is no opposing spirit, for we of the ascended masters have no opposition, regardless of what certain spirits in the lower realms might claim. We are God-free Beings, and we have become God-free by transcending all opposing spirits.

This is the vision I hold for you, and I am willing to help you hold it for yourself. You only need ask. Mother Mary, I AM.

Ascended Master Mother Mary, April 7, 2014, through Kim Michaels

My beloved hearts, I AM the Ascended Master Mother Mary. I come to give you another talk where I will comment on various issues that I desire to bring out into the open at this time. My aim of these talks is not necessarily to give you timeless teachings; my aim is rather to comment on certain conditions that are important from an overall, worldwide scale right now. It is sort of to give you an impression of how we of the ascended masters look upon earth and the events that are unfolding right at this moment.

Matter is given form by information

Let me pick up first on a topic that I talked about in my last discourse, namely that of the spiritual people on earth and the challenges that you face. I have talked about the need to be careful about what kind of information you take in. If you look at some of the latest discoveries of science in the field of subatomic physics, you will see that it is becoming increasingly clear to scientists that the basic unit, the basic factor, that determines the shape of the world of form is information.

I have said before that everything is made out of the Ma-ter light and that the Ma-ter light can take on any form. I have also taught that the Ma-ter light does not take on form by itself. It must be acted upon by a conscious, self-aware, being who projects a certain matrix upon the Ma-ter light. This matrix is endowed by energy in order to give it the force to get the Ma-ter light to take on form, but what determines the shape of the matrix is the information used to design it.

There are two elements that make up the world of form: there is movement or energy, and there is design, form or information. Things take on a certain form because of the information used to design the matrix that is projected upon the Ma-ter light. This, of course, is at the very deepest level of energy becoming matter, of the energy that starts in the spiritual realm, cycling though the identity level, then the mental level, then the emotional level, and then, finally, crossing the border into the material frequency spectrum.

It may seem as if there is a vast distance between the realm of subatomic particles and the everyday lives of human beings living on earth. It is precisely because there seems to be such a vast distance that people, even scientists, have not yet accepted the actual conclusions and implications of scientific discoveries. If you do step back from your everyday concerns and look at the discoveries made by science, you will see that there is really only one conclusion. If everything, even the most basic level of the world of form, is determined by information, then nothing is more important for human beings than to base their lives on the best possible information.

An elite that is above the laws of God

It now becomes possible for you to take a look at history and see a very clear tendency. You will see a number of societies that have been what is commonly called totalitarian societies. What we of the ascended masters would say is that the definition of a totalitarian society is one where a small elite rules the general population. The elite has managed to put itself into a position where it has a special status, where it has special privileges. It can do things and get away with doing things that the common man, the common woman, the broader population, cannot do. The elite is above the common law.

We have, of course, given teachings about the fallen beings who rebelled against God in a different realm, have now fallen through several realms and have come into this latest sphere with an absolute rebellion and denial of God. What these fallen beings in embodiment, are trying to do is not just to set themselves above the laws of their society; they are actually trying to set themselves above the laws of nature. They are trying to set themselves up as a privileged elite, and the demands made by the laws of nature on earth are set aside for them because the people slave in order to provide them with privileges. There are, of course, certain laws of nature that they have not been able to set aside even though they have certainly tried both today and in previous, more advanced ages, such as Atlantis. They have attempted very hard to overcome the law of mortality so that they could secure more longevity for their physical bodies.

Stop sending out force-based impulses

There is a limit to how far they can come with this. Regardless of technology and chemicals that they are trying to use, there is still a limit to how far you can prolong the life of a physical body. The reason for this is very simple. It is called the Law of Cause and Effect or the Law of Karma.

When you, as an individual, produce a force-based impulse that you send out into the cosmic mirror, meaning the four levels of the material universe, that force-based impulse will be returned to you. When it is returned, it might very well limit the lifespan of your physical body. There is very little you can do to actually avoid this. Well, there is something you can do. You can stop sending out force-based impulses, but that, of course, is something that those trapped in the fallen consciousness find it very difficult to do. They would feel like their entire purpose for living would disappear under their feet. They would feel that their power and their control over life would disappear.

If you look a little deeper, you will see that these people – who have set themselves up in positions of power – believe that if they have power over other people, then they have ultimate power, meaning they also have a certain power over the laws of nature or even the laws of God. This, of course, is what they believe at the conscious level. At deeper levels, the reality is that these beings know they have no power over the laws of God or the laws of nature. In their anger and frustration over this, they are attempting to create a temporary sensation of having power and control by having power over other people and over society. They are attempting to create here on earth a temporary kingdom as a replacement for the kingdom they know they cannot have without abandoning the fallen consciousness.

You will see many societies where they have managed to set up such a temporary kingdom on earth. It has seemed as if a certain leader could get away with one thing after another and that nothing could stop him. It has seemed as if there has been a small elite supporting the leader who have had special privileges that could never be lost or never be taken away from them.

Precisely because there is a certain delay factor between the point in time when you send out a force-based impulse and when the return current comes back from the physical universe, the cosmic mirror, it does seem as if a certain leader and a certain power elite group can create a kingdom here on earth that seemingly cannot be threatened by any power here on earth. Such a force-based kingdom does not have to be threatened by a power on earth; it will inevitably be threatened by the return current of what it is sending out.

Two countries in one

What are the means used by these power elite groups who set themselves up in privileged positions? When you look at it from a surface perspective, you will see that they obviously use physical power, often military power, political power or economic power, and this is, of course, the case. If you look at a society that is ruled by a small elite, you will see that they have used their position to create a state in which there are essentially two countries in one. Any country that functions as a coherent unit must have laws. Yet, in an elitist country, there is the official law that is on the books and that, supposedly, is valid for all people, and then there is the unofficial law that applies to the elite only. This means that, whereas the majority of the population have to follow the official law, the elite can get away with not following it.

The official law, of course, is set up so that the people are forced into slaving for the elite, and so that, as long as the people follow that law, they will uphold the status quo where the elite is in control. The people cannot free themselves from the yoke of the elite by following the official law. Anyone who tries to object to the elite can, therefore, easily be labeled by the elite as a rebel, as a person who disrespects the law. How interesting it is that those who themselves have complete disrespect for the law are the first to cry out that anyone protesting their elitist reign is violating the law.

What has been created in such an elitist society is a state of inequality. There is inequality between the elite and the general population. There may actually, in some of the more modern elitist societies, be a certain group of people – sometimes called the middle class but not necessarily what you normally associate with a middle class – and this group of people are actually benefiting from the status quo. They do not have the power and privileges of the elite, but because they are the next step down from the elite, they have more power and more privileges than the general population.

You now have a sort of buffer zone between the elite and the general population, and this can have a dampening effect on the desire of the general population to throw off the yoke of the elite. Most members of the general population will know someone, probably from their own family, who is part of the so-called middle class. They may even have dreams and ambitions that they themselves can rise to that class. Suddenly, there is created a certain unwillingness to disturb the status quo, for even though it is not good for the general population, individually, people might be able to get up to the middle class where life is at least tolerable, perhaps even desirable.

This status of the inequality to the law is, of course, what is commonly called corruption. You can look at any society in today’s world, and you can use the general indexes for corruption that have been developed by the international community. You can look at the most corrupt nations, and you will immediately know that these are the ones where a small power elite has gained the highest degree of control. The higher the degree of control, the higher the corruption.

There are, of course, instances from history where this would not apply for the simple reason that there was not sufficient information available about the level of corruption. There are also instances where corruption is not just a matter of exchanging money. It is not a matter of the elite actually buying favors from public officials. It is a matter of other ways of securing favors that are less easy to trace because no money is exchanged. In general, if you look at any society, you will see that the higher the level of corruption, the less freedom, rights and prosperity for the general population.

A free economy is neither capitalistic nor communistic

It should be obvious that in an elitist society there cannot be freedom and rights for the general population. But why can there not be prosperity? The reason is that in an elitist society you cannot actually have a truly prosperous economy. Why is this so? It is so because the only way to have a truly prosperous economy is to have a free economy.

You may note that there has been a long-standing debate concerning the economic merits of the two warring systems of the last century, namely Communism and Capitalism. You may also know that we of the ascended masters do not consider Capitalism as being what it is often claimed to be by people in the West, namely a free economy. Capitalism is an elitist system aimed at concentrating wealth and privileges in the hands of a small elite. It is often claimed by misguided people in the West that Capitalism and the free market economy are the same, but they are not. A free market economy is one where the economy is free, which means that there are no special privileges. There is no possibility of buying favors so that your business can do better than other businesses because it is protected by the law whereas those others are not.

The history of Capitalism is, of course, a history of small elite groups or even individuals seeking to undermine the democratic system and the free market economy by buying or securing special privileges for themselves and their own businesses. In countries that have what they call a free, democratic constitution, it is far more difficult to secure such privileges. Even though the economy in the West is clearly manipulated by a power elite, this cannot happen to quite the same degree as it can happen in a more totalitarian society, such as the Soviet Union, China or Nazi Germany or other openly totalitarian societies you have seen throughout history.

Prosperity is determined by wealth produced

What I am pointing out to you is that the level of prosperity enjoyed by the general population is determined by the level of wealth produced by the economy in a given country. The level of wealth produced by the overall economy of a country is determined by how free the economy is. The more totalitarian the society, the less overall wealth can and will be produced. The more corruption you find in a society, the less overall wealth will be produced by the economy of that society. You can, again, look at a certain country and look at the level of corruption and look at the living standard of the average person in that country, and you will clearly see from international historical statistics that the higher the corruption, the lower the standard of living of the average person. There may be a few exceptions here and there on a temporary basis, but in the long-term, overall pattern there is a very clear connection.

The reason for this is, of course, that if you compare the economy to a machine, then corruption is what adds resistance or inertia to the machine. You will know from your car’s engine that it can only continue to run because all of the internal parts are covered by a film of oil. The film of oil decreases the resistance of metal parts rubbing up against each other. If the oil runs out, the internal resistance in the engine will increase until the engine seizes up and can no longer turn. If you were to introduce a substance into the engine that was not functioning like oil and decreasing the resistance, but was functioning as a kind of glue that increased the resistance, then the engine would also seize up.

Well, corruption is like putting syrup into your car’s engine. Instead of a freely flowing economy – where people are doing things based on what actually works, what actually serves other people – there is now an artificial element introduced. Suddenly, everything becomes more difficult, takes longer and costs more. Because of this internal inertia, there is a cap put on the level of wealth that can be produced by that nation. The more corruption, the lower the level of wealth that a nation can produce.

How totalitarian societies have collapsed throughout history

When you take an honest look at history, you will see this in all totalitarian nations. In some cases, nations have been able to avoid this on a temporary basis through taking certain artificial measures, mainly an introduction of foreign capital. But if you look at a nation as an isolated nation, you will see that if corruption goes up, if elitism goes up, then the general, overall amount of wealth used by that nation goes down. This inevitably leads to a lower standard of living for the average person in the country. When the standard of living goes too low, there is then the basis for an uprising of the population and an overthrow of the elite.

This is precisely what happened in the feudal societies of Medieval Europe. It has happened in other societies throughout history. What can, of course, also happen is that the level of internal inertia becomes so high that the economy cannot sustain itself, and therefore, the country collapses simply through the internal inertia it has created in its economy. The machine comes to a grinding halt, the engine seizes up, and the country falls apart from within.

The most prominent example of this process in modern times is, of course, the Soviet Union. Why did the Soviet Union collapse? Because the economy could not sustain itself, partly because of the internal inertia, partly because of the inherent, unavoidable need to maintain a very high level of military readiness and aggressiveness against the external enemy that was defined into the system. The very definition of a communist country is that it is in opposition to another type of system called a capitalist system, and this inevitably sets up a military confrontation. This, of course, puts an enormous strain on the economy of the communist country. Yet, it is not the external enemy that causes the collapse of the country; it is the internal contradictions and inertia of the system itself.

Why am I giving this long discourse on these forces? Because right now one of the, shall we say, defining events is, of course, the situation in Ukraine. Since I gave my last discourse, you have seen Russia move into the province of Crimea and take it over by military force. There was no direct fighting, but it was still a military takeover. What is behind this? What is behind what you see, as I am speaking, that certain groups in Eastern Ukraine are now staging violent takeovers of public buildings? What is behind the amassment of Russian troops near the border of Eastern Ukraine and the general consensus that this might simply be a step towards taking over parts or all of Eastern Ukraine, maybe even all of Ukraine?

Willful ignorance allowed the elite to control the Soviet Union

What is actually behind this is a psychological factor, a psychological flaw, as we might say. I earlier said that when an elite takes over a society, they do use the outer means of force, military and economic force. The actual, deeper mean that secures that elite in its position of privilege is information, or rather, lack of information or disinformation. If you go to the very deepest level of the fallen psychology, you will see that it is by its very nature based on disinformation. Disinformation can be said to be a lack of accurate information; however, this is not a passive lack. This is a willful, deliberate, and aggressive lack where the true information is deliberately covered over or denied by disinformation, false information, that is put out there and claimed to be true information. It is, therefore, not a passive ignorance but a willful ignorance.

The entire Soviet Union was built upon this willful ignorance. The theories of Karl Marx and their interpretations by Lenin were based on deliberate disinformation. Any communist society is based on deliberate disinformation. Any capitalist society is based on deliberate disinformation. Even in a so-called democratic nation, the power elite can exist only because the people do not know what they are doing behind the façade. Nevertheless, in a country like the Soviet Union, the disinformation was much more extensive than it ever was in any democratic nation.

Why do you think there was a secret police? Why do you think, as can be seen by historical facts, that the nations taken over by the Soviet Union had to be forcefully suppressed with 20% of the population being exterminated in concentration camps in order to prevent them from rising up and spreading the information that was a threat to the continued existence of the Soviet Union? Why do you think there was strict control of the press in the Soviet Union? Why do you think that, when this control was lifted, it very quickly led to the collapse of the Soviet Union?

The Russian people and self-government

It was simply because the only reason the Soviet Union could exist for as long as it did was that the people inside the Soviet Union did not have information about the fact that, in the Western world, things were not as bad as claimed by the regime. Instead, the average population in the Western world had enjoyed an increase in their living standard that could only be dreamt of by the citizens in the Soviet Union. In fact, most of the citizens of the Soviet Union could not even dream of having the standard of living that was enjoyed by the average person in the West. It was only because the average person in the Soviet Union had no knowledge of this that they did not revolt against the oppressive system.

Precisely because of the amount of disinformation that was present in the Soviet Union right up until the very end, and even to this day, there were many people inside the Soviet Union, especially in Russia, who did not understand the internal forces and contradictions that caused the collapse of the Soviet Union. Even to this day, there are many among the Russian population and even – I am sad to say – among the Russian leadership, both in the political leadership and in the media, who do not understand or are not willing to acknowledge the actual cause of the collapse of the Soviet Union.

Why is this? It is because the Russian people, as we have talked about before, are not willing to take responsibility for governing themselves. It is so easy to point to an external enemy who is threatening them, and therefore they must allow an internal enemy to be the strong leader that can turn back the external threat. There is a tendency among the Russian people that they do not actually want to know. They do not want to know exactly what is going on in their country.

This was somewhat understandable during Soviet times because they did not have access to information, but today, enough people in Russia have access to the internet that they have access to outside sources of information. Yet most people are not taking advantage of this. They simply do not want to know. They want to focus on their daily lives, and then they want to believe that their leaders will do what is best for them and best for the country. They actually want to believe that the power elite of their country will do what is best for the people and not what is best for themselves.

Internal contradictions cause the collapse of societies

My beloved, when in the history of this planet have you seen a power elite who did what was best for the people and not best for themselves? Very rarely, if ever, have you seen this. When do we invoke Einstein’s famous quote, that if you keep doing the same thing and expect different results, you are insane? It is insane to expect that you can allow a small elite to take over the economic engine of your country, and you will still have an increased standard of living for the average citizen. It is insane to expect that you can allow a small elite to control the media, to control the information you have, and that this will still lead to an increase in the standard of living for the average person. It is insane to expect that you can allow your country to have one of the highest levels of corruption in the world, and that this will still lead to an increase in the standard of living for the average person.

It simply cannot happen because it is against the laws of nature and the laws of economics. It is against the laws of history. What caused the collapse of the Soviet Union was not the external enemy of the West. What caused the collapse of the Soviet Union were the internal contradictions and the internal inertia based on the fact that the economy was not free. This was partly due to the communist system, which put a limit, a systemic limit, on the economy, but it was also in high part due to corruption that put a practical limit on the level of wealth that could be produced.

There are people in Russia today who, due to willful ignorance, have not acknowledged that the collapse of the Soviet Union was not caused by an external enemy but by the internal enemy of the system itself. These people dream of creating a new Russian Empire that will have a power and respect, they think, similar to that of the Soviet Union. For them, the people in Crimea of Russian descent were just tools in their greater game. The people of Russian descent in Eastern Ukraine are just tools, as are the people of Russian descent elsewhere. The members of the elite have no consideration whatsoever for the average person. They are seeking to recreate an empire that will give them a sense of power and control.

Societies and evolutionary cycles

My beloved, if you truly step back from particulars and look at the overall picture, what actually happened when the Soviet Union collapsed? At one level, what happened was the death of the “Age of Ideology.” There have been various empires in the world that were based on a certain thought system, a certain ideology. You certainly had a Catholic Empire that took over most of Western Europe during the Middle Ages. You had the Communist Empire. You had the Capitalist Empire in the West.

When the Soviet Union collapsed, it was not just the death of Communism; it was also the death of Capitalism. What has not generally been understood, in fact, what has been barely understood by anyone, is that the collapse of the Soviet Union actually marked the end of the era where ideological empires would be allowed on this planet. What is not understood by human beings is that the collapse of the Soviet Union was not actually created or generated by forces on earth itself. It was actually mandated by larger forces, which we might call cosmic or spiritual forces.

The Great Karmic Board that oversees the evolution of earth has a gradual step-by-step plan for the evolution of the lifestreams on earth. This plan is somewhat flexible in terms of the times, but it is not flexible in terms of the cycles. The evolution of humankind is an educational process. As you see in the educational systems on earth, there are certain levels. There is a kindergarten where the children are exposed to certain tests, certain exams, certain initiations. Then, there is a higher level where they get higher tests. There is then high school, there is college.

Societies based on raw force

The lowest level that you have seen in recent history was the age where it was allowed to create empires through raw military force alone. This was an age where you saw the Roman Empire. You saw the Huns, Attila the Hun and Genghis Khan. You saw other great conquerors who attempted to create empires with no ideological overlay but simply the desire for conquest through raw force. This was allowed by the Karmic Board because it was deemed necessary that humankind would see the outplaying of this level of consciousness where you are willing to take through raw force.

People had to be allowed to see what would come of this and how, for example, an empire based on force, such as the Roman Empire, created its own opposition that led to the so-called barbarian takeover of Rome. It was really the Roman Empire that generated a forced-based impulse that naturally was reflected back by the cosmic mirror and, therefore, led to the rising of a force that was as bent on destroying the Roman Empire as the Roman Empire was bent on taking over the entire world. What is not generally recognized is that the Roman Empire was not actually destroyed by this outside force. It was destroyed by the internal forces, the inertia, generated by the empire itself. It was this internal inertia that made it vulnerable to the takeover of the external force. Without the internal inertia, there could have been no external invasion that would have conquered and destroyed the Roman Empire.

There was an age where it was allowed by the Karmic Board that these empires could rise. When such an empire started to form, the return of its own karma was set aside for a time because it was allowed to act out its aggressive intent to a certain degree in order to demonstrate to people what could happen through raw force. When the empire had reached a certain level of development, the Karmic Board would then return the karma generated, and this would, in most cases, lead to a relatively swift collapse of that empire.

This age of empire-building through raw force, this cycle where this was allowed, came to an end around the time of the Renaissance where you saw the ascent to a higher adherence to principles. However, as a result of this higher adherence to principles, it also became possible for humankind to develop ideologies that had a more aggressive intent than before, and this was what led to the development of communism. I realize that there have been other ideological empires, including the Catholic Empire, but understand the general trend here.

There was a time where humankind went from the kindergarten level of seeing the development of empires through raw force to the higher level of seeing the development of empires through ideology. Again, it was deemed necessary that humankind was allowed to see this unfold physically in order to make people aware of the limitations of this approach. What I am saying is that the formation of the Soviet Union was actually something that was allowed because there was a setting aside of an instant return of the karma generated by the early years and decades of the Soviet Union. This was partly done to allow the Soviet Union to play a part in the stopping of another ideological empire, namely that of Nazism.

The Karmic Board manages the return of karma

The Karmic Board actually allowed the growth of the Soviet Union by setting aside some of the karmic return. Of course, this was done only to allow humankind to see outplayed in the physical the result of this level of consciousness. When the Soviet Union had been outplayed to the necessary extent, then the Karmic Board again opened up for the karmic return generated by the Soviet Union itself. It was this karmic return that led to the collapse of the Soviet Union. The karmic return amplified the factors I have talked about of the internal resistance that caused the economy to grind to a halt.

What I am giving you here is a greater cosmic perspective on how things work on earth. You may think that human beings are in control. The power elites of this and previous ages have always believed that they were in control of what happens on earth, but they are not. The Karmic Board is in control for the simple reason that if the Karmic Board did not hold back the return of humankind’s karma, then most societies on earth would long ago have collapsed. Potentially, the entire planet would have been blown up and there would be no more possibility of any empire-building. One could say that the fallen beings are in control in the sense that they can generate the karma that could blow up an entire planet, but the Karmic Board has the option of holding back the return of that karma for educational purposes.

The conditions found in Russia today

Where am I going with this long discourse? I am simply pointing out that the current leadership of Russia, including Vladimir Putin, has a distorted view of what caused the collapse of the Soviet Union. This distorted view causes them to hold on to the belief that Russia is threatened by an external enemy and, therefore, must allow the arising of an internal power that controls the people. Too many among the Russian population also hold on to this view, and this is what makes it possible. Therefore, Vladimir Putin and the people behind him, at least some of them, are seeking to re-create an empire that will have the respect that they think the Soviet Union had.

These people actually believe that the Soviet Union was a viable empire that could have survived if it wasn’t for the interference of an external enemy. They also believe that the Soviet Union and the military might of the Soviet Union gave the Russian people respect from the rest of the world. They believe that respect comes from fear. They believe that the way to get other people to respect you is to make them fear you. This is because the Russian people still have a tendency to respect only the kind of leaders that they fear.

I have said that there are cosmic forces that no empire on earth can stand up against. No matter how powerful, it cannot stand up against the karmic return of its own deeds. No empire can do this for the simple reason that the more powerful the empire becomes on earth, the more powerful of a force-based impulse it sends into the cosmic mirror. The cosmic mirror not only reflects back what you are sending out, it reflects it back multiplied. The more powerful of an empire you create on earth, the more powerful of a karmic return you create for yourself. The more power you have, the more you hasten your own destruction. The only thing that can prevent this is, as I have just explained, that the Karmic Board deliberately holds back your karmic return for a time, but this will happen only for a time.

What are Vladimir Putin and the leadership behind him seeking to do today? They are seeking to create a Russian Empire that has power and enjoys respect from the rest of the world because the world fears not just the military might but also the unpredictability of Russia. Yet, does Vladimir Putin have an ideology? He does not. He is not seeking to recreate a Communist Empire, for even he does not fully believe in Communism.

No delay of Russia’s returning karma

There was a time where it was allowed karmically that ideological empires could arise. This time is now over. What is Putin seeking to do? He is actually reverting back to the earlier cycle of the creation of empires through raw force alone, but this cycle ended a very long time ago, meaning there is no setting aside of the karmic return for your force-based impulses.

What I am telling you here is this: The Karmic Board will not set aside the karmic return of any aggressive actions taken by Russia, whether it be in Ukraine or elsewhere. There is no grace period. There is a certain delay in that it takes a certain time for your force-based impulse to cycle through the four levels of the material universe, but there is no setting aside of this karmic return.

What Russia did in Crimea generated a force-based impulse. What they had already done earlier in supporting the Yanukovych government in Ukraine generated a force-based impulse. What they are doing in creating unrest in the Eastern provinces of Ukraine is generating a force-based impulse. Anything they do from now on that is an aggressive act will generate a force-based impulse, and in a relatively short amount of time, it will come back multiplied by the Cosmic Mirror, and it will hit Russia and the Russian leadership with full force.

Unfortunately, this means that it will also hit the Russian population who, through their unwillingness to know, are allowing this to happen. They have silently sat by and allowed the erosion of a free press in Russia. They have silently sat by and allowed the rise of corruption to a level that is even beyond what it was in the Soviet Union. All of this has happened under the leadership of Vladimir Putin, even in the years where he was not the president but was the president behind the scenes. Although I do not wish to set a specific date, I will prophesize that this cycle in Russian history will be short-lived. We have already passed the critical return where enough force-based impulses have been created that, when they come back into the physical realm, they will lead to a swift end to the reign of Vladimir Putin and the people behind him.

You will, therefore, look for – within a few years – dramatic changes in Russia. We are asking those of you who are open to our teaching to hold the vision for and to make the calls that these changes will be as peaceful as possible. We ask you to hold the vision that Russia will avoid being involved in a military confrontation that can only be disastrous for Russia. We also ask you to hold the vision that Russia can make the transition away from its current downward spiral without major internal unrest and uprisings. This is possible, but it will require a shift in the collective consciousness, and this shift must be, as always, spearheaded by the most spiritually aware people.

The Russian people have a potential for creativity and respect

As I said in my last discourse, we of the ascended masters have a great love for the Russian people. We truly see the potential for the future of Russia and the Russian people. But this is a creative potential; not a potential based on force. We see a development where the Russian nation will rise and unfold its full creative potential and where the Russian people will gain the respect that they so deeply desire—not through force, not by making other people fear you, but by making them admire you for your creativity, your culture, and your humanity.

The Soviet Union was an inhuman empire. The Russian people have endured much inhumanity, but those who endure much inhumanity have a potential to make a shift and rise in their own humanity. This is the real potential of all people who have been suppressed and persecuted. It is (in parenthesis) the higher potential of the Jewish people, which has not yet come to fruition due to the fear-based elite ruling the state of Israel. Again, you have a fear-based elite ruling Russia, and it is holding back the unfoldment of the humanity of the Russian people.

If you will look realistically, you will see that Russia desires to be respected by the West, but it does not understand that the West is based on a respect for the individual rights of all human beings. It is not based on a respect of the force of an elite but the rights of all. If you come out as a force-based elitist society and think that you can make the West respect you through force, by forcing them to fear you, then you are simply mistaken.

The West will respect you when you respect the principles of individual rights and freedom upon which they have based their societies, now in some cases, for centuries. This they will respect, and they will respect you for who you are because the entire Western mindset is based on respect for the individual human being as having inherent value. The West is based on a belief in the goodness and the creativity of the individual human being. When you, the Russian people, begin to express freely that goodness and that creativity, then you will instantly have the respect that you desire. Seeking to force people to respect you through fear will never work. It will only cause you to lose respect and, thereby, also lose self-respect when your force-based adventures collapse in upon themselves, as they inevitably will.

The potential changes Russia will face

You may see in coming weeks, months, and even years the current Russian government be seemingly successful in taking over territory and establishing itself as a power that no one can ignore. But in the slightly longer term, you will see this collapse in upon itself and have severe consequences for Russia’s standing in the world, for the Russian economy, and for the average Russian citizen. Things will not improve until Russia begins to espouse freedom and equality for all, thereby doing away with the power elite, with the control of the press, and with the corruption at all levels of Russian society.

This will require a major change, but we of the ascended masters hold the immaculate vision that this change is possible. It is possible. We ask you who are the spiritual people both inside and outside of Russia to hold the vision and to make the calls that this change will not only be in the etheric and the mental level, but will also be brought into the emotional and the physical realms.

There is a need to make calls for the purification of the emotional body of Russia and former Soviet Republics from all of these remnants, all of these beasts and spirits, generated during the Cold War. There is a need for the calls for the arresting and the consuming of the spirals of fear that have right now been brought up to the surface, not only in Russia but also in many of the former Soviet Republics.

It is never too late to make calls

This is not to the benefit of anyone because it will cause people everywhere to have clouded judgments and make fear-based temporary, decisions. I have earlier asked you to make calls for the exposure of anything that needs to be exposed, and as you will see, these calls have been successful in exposing at least some of the deeper intents of the Russian leadership so that the leaders in the West have overcome this decades-long illusion that Russia is ready to become a normal nation, a democratic nation based on respect for human rights, the rights of other countries, and international law.

This was not necessarily a naïve illusion; it was, as we have said, an expression of holding the immaculate concept, the immaculate vision. It was a possibility that Russia could have gone through this transition by now. It was delayed, not just by one man, for Vladimir Putin is truly not as powerful as he would like to believe, but it was delayed by the unwillingness of a majority of the Russian people to shift their consciousness, as I have described, both here and as we have described in previous dictations given in or about Russia.

It is never too late. It is only a matter of how much of a karmic return the Russian people need to see before they are willing to shift their consciousness. We hope that it will be the least possible karmic return, and we hope you will hold the vision for this also. I have no desire to instill fear in a nation and a people who are already too burdened by fear. Yet, I trust I have made it clear that no nation can avoid the karmic return when the Karmic Board is not willing to set that return aside.
