The changes needed in the Asian mindset

Ascended Master Gautama Buddha, July 2, 2016, through Kim Michaels at a conference in Seoul, Korea

I AM the Ascended Master Gautama Buddha, and I come to give you some insights into one of the changes that can help bring not only Korea but Asia in general into the Golden Age. Now, my beloved, we are very happy that the messenger gave the talk that he gave and that he was able to give it to an audience who actually understood what he was saying. We, of course, accept all of you for who you are right now and we would like nothing more than to see you also accept yourselves as being students on the path.

Therefore, enjoy walking the path, enjoy being alive and enjoy being in embodiment while you are in embodiment, instead of coming to the end of your life and perhaps even ascending and then realizing that you did not fully take advantage of the opportunity to be in embodiment because you did not quite enjoy life. And you did not enjoy life because you could not accept yourselves for who you are.

Compensating for not accepting yourself

As the messenger said, it is perfectly correct that the fallen beings have attempted to create a situation where nobody can accept themselves for they always think they have to be someone else. What you also see in many societies is that they have found a way to compensate for this. If you have a society where no one is accepting themselves for who they are, and therefore everyone is feeling a certain sense of dissatisfaction and misery, how do people cope with that situation? Many people cope with it by accepting their lot in life. They accept that they are peasants or workers or ordinary people and that they could never really attain being more than that. Once you accept this, then you can in a strange way live with it because, after all, nobody else in your group of people can do any better than you.

If everyone is equally miserable, then most people can feel like their misery, after all, isn’t so bad. Yet you also see another segment in most societies that are coping with their lack of acceptance of themselves in a different way by setting themselves up as being special compared to other people. They are the ones who feel that they belong to a special segment of society that is in some way raised above the general population: the peasants, the workers, the ordinary people. When you look at the history of this planet, you can see that this has been one of the main characteristics of almost every society.

We have said, of course, that the fallen beings have from the very moment they fell (and even before in many cases), had the desire to set themselves up as being above and beyond others. The tendency to want to create a class in society that is beyond the majority of the population originates with the fallen beings. This does not mean that everyone who is a member of some special segment of society is necessarily a fallen being. Many people have been trapped into the fallen consciousness and are therefore also seeking to set themselves up as being special. They are seeking to belong to a special class and feel they are above and beyond others.

The way they do this, is often to portray that this class has some special abilities or special characteristics. Throughout the ages, many different philosophical systems have been used to justify this stratification, this segmentation, of society into the upper class and the lower class. It can be religion and has been religion in many cases. It can be a political philosophy. It can even be scientific materialism, as you see in the world today that some think they are just more fit than others even though they rarely go to the gym and exercise.

My beloved, you see all kinds of excuses for this and when you look at the outer justification for why these people are special, if you believe what they are saying, then you would think that these people must be feeling good about themselves and their position in society. They must be feeling that they really are better than others, and I will grant you that there are many among this upper class who actually have drunk their own Kool Aid, and they feel and believe that they have some special characteristic that makes them better than other people. This is only at a surface level of their consciousness. It is because they are in a state of delusion, a state of denial, where they do not look deeply enough into their psychology to see that they are actually completely miserable because they do not accept themselves either.

We might say that the outer sense that they are better than others simply serves to cover over their inner misery so they can live with it without seeing it. Just as you see those among the lower class who have also found a way to cover over their inner misery so they do not see it with their normal waking consciousness. You realize that in Asia in general there has been a long tradition of having these societies with a very privileged upper class and all other people would, so to speak, act in a very humble, submissive manner around the upper class.

The segmentation of Asian societies

You can see remnants of this in many Asian nations in the way they respond to authority, even in the way people treat each other. They often bow deeply and feel therefore that they have to submit, especially to people who are in leadership or authoritarian positions. We, of course, desire you who are the spiritual students to rise above this consciousness and accept yourselves for who you are and accept that regardless of what position people hold in society, you can feel good about yourselves inside as was expressed earlier by one of our daughters. You can follow the party line on the outside and do what you need to do to survive in the system, but inside yourself you can acknowledge who you are and acknowledge your worth.

Nevertheless, there is also a need in Asian countries that people would come to an awareness that this division of society into upper and lower simply cannot stand in the Aquarian age. You cannot build a golden age society if you have an upper class and a lower class. It will not be the upper class that builds a golden age society for they cannot tune in to the consciousness of Saint Germain. How can they tune in to the God of Freedom when they have no freedom in their own beings and they are not willing to give that freedom to those who are below them in society?

You need to shift your own awareness, and you need to make the calls that people become more aware of this mechanism of dividing society up into those who are the upper class and the lower class. People need to become aware of why this has happened, become aware that it is outdated and that people need to look at it and talk about it openly and create a different culture.

One of the things you see in many Asian countries, Korea included, is that only those who belong to the right families, will get a good education and a good position in the work market. You will see many companies who are first of all looking at a person’s family background before they hire them for any higher position. My beloved what sense does it make from a business perspective that you hire somebody to a given position because of his family background without evaluating whether he actually has the knowledge, the abilities or the personality to fulfil that position in a satisfactory manner? Do you realize, my beloved, that there is a reason why many Asian companies cannot bring forth new inventions and new technology, as you see certain countries in the West are doing?

If you ask yourself, my beloved, why this huge corporation named Samsung has to copy the products brought forth by Apple, you can see that the reason is quite simple. Despite the size, despite the money, despite the resources that Samsung has, it is obviously not able to hire the kind of people that are creative enough to bring forth new innovative products. It needs to copy others and why is that, my beloved? It is in large part because of the culture I am talking about where you hire people based on their family background not based on their creativity or other abilities.

When you begin to realize this, you can see that this influences not only Korean society but many Asian societies in many ways. Some are obvious, some are very subtle. I can assure you that for Asia to rise to the level of Golden Age consciousness, this culture needs to be transcended so that there is a willingness to look at the soul, look at the person and that person’s inherent abilities and characteristics rather than the outer characteristics.

The attitude to women in Asia

One of the things that also needs to be dealt with is of course the attitude towards women in Asian societies. You will see that it may be so that you have to be from a good family in order to get a higher position in big companies in Asia. You have to add that you not only have to be from a good family, you also have to be male in order to get a good position. Again, this is one of the reasons why many Asian companies are lagging behind because there is no guarantee that men are the most creative, and in many cases the new innovative ideas can only be brought forth through women. This however is also a problem you find in the West but that is a topic for another day.

You see, of course, that there has been a long tradition in this part of the world for suppressing those who are deemed as belonging to the lower classes, those who are not the important people. Even within the so-called upper class there has been a tradition for suppressing women, not allowing them to bring forth their creativity, their organizational talents, their perspective, their contribution to society.

We might say that you can look at society and say that there is an upper class and a lower class based on family background, but you can also say there is an upper class consisting of men from a certain family background and there is a lower class consisting of women regardless of their family background. You need to recognize, as we have said, that a soul, the lifestream, is not exclusively male or female but will embody in different physical bodies in different lifetimes. You are not always male, in a male body. You are not always female. Therefore, if you want to find the people who are best suited for filling a certain position in a company or in society, you need to look at the characteristics of the soul, the inner characteristics of the soul.

Not valuing the individual

My beloved, from a purely rational business perspective this should be rather obvious. It should actually be possible that business leaders, for example in Korea, would have looked at why we are behind Western companies in innovation and what we can do to close the gap. It should have been possible that they would have come to the conclusion that we need to look for people who have special abilities within their own beings rather than looking at certain outer characteristics and assuming that people from a good family will be more creative or better leaders. You might ask yourself why they have not come to this conclusion? Is it just because they are not smart enough? Is it because they are not intelligent enough? Or is there some other reason?

Well the reason is, what other masters have already mentioned, that Asia has a long tradition for valuing the state or the corporation higher than the individual. The individual has not been looked upon as having inherent value, having inherent resources, inherent abilities and characteristics. There has been a tendency to think that if there is a given position that needs to be filled, then it can be filled by almost anybody, or at least there are many people who could fill that position. Therefore, neither the state nor corporations have allowed themselves to feel that they need to pay particular attention to the individual, except of course when it comes to the supreme leader. Even there, you see, as you have seen in many countries and as you see in North Korea today, that the son of the previous leader becomes the next leader whether he is suited for the position or not and whether he actually wants it or not.

When you do not value the individual, when you do not value human beings, how can you shift away from this culture that is so focused on family and outer characteristics? Therefore, the shift that really needs to happen is the shift that the messenger talked about, namely that you begin to value each other, see each other as equals and value each other for who you are as individuals. You value, you appreciate differences. Why was the messenger able to give this talk? Because he has an audience who has also, for most of you, come to this awareness that you want to relate to each other in a different way. You would rather relate to each other as equals than having this division between those who are above and those who are below. This is your potential to have an impact on society when you accept this consciousness in yourself, when you speak out and, of course, when you make the calls. Surely, it will be very, very difficult to change this very, very old and very, very ingrained consciousness.

When I say it will be very difficult, it is, of course, relative. As we have said many times, with men this is impossible but with God all things are possible. Nevertheless, we have also said that there needs to be a shift in people’s consciousness before we can use our power. There needs to be a growing awareness, a shift in awareness, where you begin to accept yourselves for who you are, accept each other for who you are and you begin to relate to each other in a different way.

Shifting society’s attitude to the individual

My beloved, we are not looking to create any kind of movement here that repeats the patterns we have seen so often in the Piscean Age where even spiritual movements have a division between an upper class and a lower class. There are people who see themselves as being better than others and other people who accept themselves as being below the leaders. This is not what we desire to see happen. When you transcend this consciousness in yourselves, then your calls have more power and you will do what the messenger said. You will give people an example that it is possible to relate to each other in a different way.

What is the shift that needs to happen in society? It is that you recognize that the purpose of life, the purpose of a society, is to serve people, to serve their growth in consciousness, to give people an opportunity to express their inherent qualities, their creativity, their experience, their abilities. If a society gives those people who have developed the highest abilities in previous lives the opportunity to express them in this life, then that society will prosper. If a corporation attracts people that have abilities, if it values those abilities, if it gives them an opportunity to express those abilities, then that corporation will prosper.

For this to happen, it needs to be seen that the purpose of the society is to serve people. The purpose of the corporation is to serve the people who are working in the corporation, not to create greater and greater profit for a small number of shareholders who are not actually contributing to the corporation because they only own the stock and take in the dividends.

Do you see, my beloved, that in the Golden Age there will be an entirely new corporate structure where those who are directly involved with making the corporation work will be seen as the major purpose for the functioning of the corporation. It is not even the purpose of a golden age corporation to make money. It is the purpose to serve the people who work for the corporation, but of course you do this by serving the people who are using the corporation’s products or services. This is a dramatic shift that, of course, has not happened in the West yet either, except for rare exceptions. We are aware that it is not likely to happen in Asia first, but there is still value in stating that this is part of the golden age matrix, and you can make the calls that the societies in Asia will begin to value the individual, the human being, and will see that the purpose of a society is to serve its own people.

The purpose of Korea

What would be the purpose of this nation of Korea? Would it be to allow a small elite to become more and more rich? Do you not see that the countries who allow this, they build an elite who starts to feel that they are not loyal to the country that has given them their privileged position. Look at how many corporations around the world have become multi-national corporations because when you attract the kind of people who are seeking unlimited power or unlimited riches, then nothing, as it says in the invocation you gave earlier, is enough for them.

No amount of power is enough. No amount of profit is enough. There is no country in the world who can give enough to the people who have an insatiable desire for power or money. Even such a big nation as the United States has not been able to give enough wealth and power to the corporation so its own corporations have become multinational. The more multinational they become, the less loyal they are to their mother nation and the people of that nation.

Do you not already see that here in Korea with some of the biggest corporations? Is it really the purpose of a nation to give such a privileged position to a small elite who are not loyal to the nation or to the people in that nation? Look at how many times a corporation has decided to move production to another country where they can get cheaper labour and thereby send tens of thousands of people into unemployment. Now, the nation that allowed this corporation to become so big stands back with a problem that they have to deal with and the corporation does not care whatsoever. Is that really a model that you want to repeat over and over and over again here in Korea and in other nations in Asia and elsewhere?

The fallen beings have no loyalty

You need to make the calls for a shift here, and you need to make the calls for the judgment of this consciousness of the privileged elite that has no loyalty to their nation or to the people who have served as the workers that allowed their corporation to grow to that size. My beloved, you need to recognize that the fallen beings have no loyalty whatsoever to any human being. You also need to realize that the fallen beings are constantly demanding loyalty from human beings. They are constantly demanding of others what they are not willing to give themselves and this is a consciousness that needs to be judged, it needs to be exposed and people need to make the choice that we will no longer submit to this matrix.

“We will no longer submit to this upper class of people who demand loyalty from us but give nothing back. Therefore, we demand a society that does not allow this upper class and that does not give privileges and loyalty to an upper class but instead gives loyalty to the population, to the people, and allows all of the people to share in the wealth of the nation without allowing a small elite to have these special privileges.”

It is not an Aquarian Age matrix. It is not a matrix that is sustainable in the Aquarian Age. You will see that those countries who cannot transcend this matrix, will fall behind. Those corporations who cannot transcend this matrix, will fall behind. Why is this so, my beloved? It is so because Saint Germain will release entirely new types of technology, that he has talked about before and will talk about again, that are based on an entirely different mindset that is not force-based technology.

Golden age education

Do you think that any company that is led by a power elite of fallen beings, or people trapped in the fallen consciousness, will be able to tune in to Saint Germain and receive this technology? Nay, my beloved for they would only look for new technology if they could monopolize it and use it to cement their position. They would not look at new technology for the purpose of serving the people and setting the people free. How can they tune in to the God of Freedom and receive these new innovative products and technologies that he is waiting to release?

These technologies can be released only to people who are very creative and whose minds are open in a way that cannot be cultivated in the traditional corporate structure, or even in the way the educational systems are set up in most countries. You will see that in many Asian nations, first of all there is a division of the educational system with the privileged schools for the finer families and the general schools for the broader people.

Even within all of the educational establishments, there is this focus on getting good grades by performing according to a certain standard that is based on learning things by heart, memorizing, being able to repeat what you have been told. It is not important whether the students have integrated the knowledge, whether it has become part of their beings and whether they can use it creatively in their work. Do you not see that this blind focus on outer performance, outer knowledge and memorization is mechanical in nature? It is robotic. It is turning out people who do not think creatively regardless of how much they know about specific concrete topics.

How can such people receive innovative ideas that are so far beyond existing technologies? How can they think outside the box when they have been brought up their entire lives to fit themselves into the box that has been defined for them by others, by society, by the privileged elite, by the fallen consciousness? How can those trapped in a mental box defined by the fallen consciousness, tune in to Saint Germain and receive new ideas and new technology? It cannot be done my beloved.

Does that mean that no Asian nation can be a forerunner in technology and innovation? No it does not, for there are souls who have volunteered to embody in this part of the world, and certainly many of them are in South Korea, precisely because they are creative souls and they want to help bring this part of the world forward. Where is the opening for them in the current structure of the educational system, the institutions of society and the corporations? Where my beloved, where are they valued? Where would they be allowed to bring forth a creative idea? You see, this needs to change. The awareness needs to change and there needs to be a growing awareness of the value of the individual person, who is able to bring forth an idea that nobody else can bring forth in that particular situation, in that particular society.

The potential for innovation in Korea

There are people in Korea who are fully capable of bringing forth the ideas that will bring Korea into the Golden Age. These people are able to listen to the ascended masters and receive the idea, but where is the opening where society is willing to listen to these people? How shall the ideas be brought forth? What will happen if the ideas are not brought forth? Well, the same idea will, of course, be released throughout the planet and if there are societies that are willing to listen to their creative individuals, then those societies will implement the new ideas and will therefore leap ahead.

There has been a tendency in Asia to focus on producing either high volumes of products or high quality of products and refining them based on the existing matrix. My beloved, there is a certain limit to how much you can refine a car, how much you can refine a gasoline or diesel engine. You can make it more efficient but only within a certain limit. There comes a point where society needs to make a leap to a different kind of transportation technology.

If a country, if a corporate structure, is focused only on improving what has already been invented, then there will come a point where this society reaches the limit for how much a certain technology can be improved. Therefore, there is a limit to how much the society and the corporations can grow. Do you not already see this very clearly in Japan? There was a time when Japan had a leadership position in the world economics because of their ability to turn people into robots that could produce high numbers of very uniform products. Why has Japan and the Japanese economy started to decline? It is because they have reached the limit and they cannot grow further by continuing this mechanical, robotic approach to people and production and the corporate structure.

The same, of course, you are already beginning to see in other nations, including Korea. There is a limit to how much you can improve a mobile phone or a computer and add new value. Of course, you can think outside the box and come up with a product that can do something that existing products cannot do. How can you do this if there is no opening to receive the idea or to implement the idea?

The image of the Buddha needs to change

You see, my beloved, I have often been seen as the Buddha and many people in this world have come to see the Buddha as a static being who provides stability. Therefore, you might be surprised to hear me speak about growth and change, but this is because there has been a long tradition of superimposing an image on the Buddha that is not the fullness of the Buddha.

What is the essence of the teaching I gave 2,500 years ago? It is that everything is the Buddha Nature. What is the Buddha Nature? Is the Buddha Nature static? Nay, the Buddha Nature is the River of Life, which is constantly transcending itself. If you create the image that the Buddha is a static being, who provides stability and wants a society to be stable and unchanging, then you have misunderstood the very nature of the Buddha, the Buddha Nature. You have denied your own Buddha Nature for when you see the Buddha Nature in yourself, that is when you are tuning in to the River of Life. This is actually when you can fully accept yourself for who you are, my beloved, as the messenger explains.

We can take what he said a step further by realizing that when you begin to see the Buddha Nature in yourself, and see that the Buddha Nature is not static, that is when you can fully accept yourself as you are. You accept that who you are right now is an expression of the Buddha Nature, but, of course, the Buddha Nature will continue to transcend itself. That is why you become more, and that is why you will not be the same in a year or ten years or even in a week or a day or a second.

My beloved, seeing the Buddha Nature in yourself and seeing that the Buddha Nature is not a state of perfection but a state of constant flow, of constant change (as we have mentioned that the Tibetan Buddhists or at least some among them have seen), that is the key to accepting yourself. Only when you accept yourself as part of the ongoing change that is the River of Life, can you fully accept yourself and allow yourself to be who you are and allow yourself to be who you will be, to become what you will become in the next moment. You can allow yourself to flow with the River of Life without being trapped in tradition, without being trapped in loyalty to your ancestors, to your leaders, to your political or religious system, without being loyal to what has been but always being willing to become more in the ongoing process that truly is the Buddha Nature.

The Buddha Nature is constant self-transcendence by constant self-observation of recognizing: “This is what I am now but more is possible and I want what is more. Therefore, I shift my sense of who I am into the more and that is how I tune in to the Buddha and I flow with the Buddha as truly the Buddha is becoming more constantly.”

I AM an ever-moving, transcending being. I have never been a static being. Worshipping a golden statue that does not change and thinking that the Buddha it represents does not change, is a fundamental misunderstanding of the teachings that I gave 2,500 years ago. Thinking that the Buddha today is the same as I was 2,500 years ago is a fundamental misunderstanding and a failure to tune in to who I am today. I have transcended myself an infinite number of times in the past 2,500 years. I will continue to transcend myself an infinite number of times every second, every split second, every division of the second that you could possibly create. I will transcend myself an infinite number of times whereby I mean that no division you could create in the finite world can ever hold the Buddha, for I AM always More, as that is the essence of the Buddha Nature.

The era of mindlessness is coming to an end on earth

Ascended Master Shiva, through Kim Michaels July 2, 2016, at a conference in Seoul, Korea.

I AM indeed the Ascended Master Shiva. You know, of course, the name Shiva from the Hindu trinity of Brahma the Creator; Vishnu the Sustainer and Shiva the Destroyer. As an ascended master, I am far more than the images portrayed by me in the Hindu religion.

I wish to give you some understanding, based on the terminology we use today, of the relationship between Brahma, Vishnu and Shiva. You may look at us, not necessarily as personal deities but as representatives of cosmic forces. There is, of course, the force that creates and it is the force that starts everything, that starts everything in manifestation in the world of form. This is the drive to create, the drive to transcend, the drive to be more. This is the force that has started the manifestation of the world of form, but it is also the force that drives what we have called the River of Life, when the individual extensions of the Creator’s Being lock in to that upward force of self-transcendence.

Vishnu then represents the force that makes it possible to create a world of form that can be sustained for some time. Therefore, Vishnu is what makes it possible to have any form, as the many forms you see around you that you do not consciously know are being co-created all the time. Your conscious minds are not able to cope with this constant, ongoing co-creation, and therefore you have the illusion that a form is sustained over time whereas in reality, of course, a form is re-created many times during the interval that you call a second.

Shiva then is the force that makes everything transcend itself. Shiva truly does not destroy. Shiva is what makes it possible that a form that has been sustained over time can still be transcended at any time. However, the function of Shiva (or the force that I embody for earth as an ascended master) is to make sure that no form can be sustained beyond a certain time limit. For if that was possible, then, indeed, self-aware beings could get stuck in the forms they have created, could come to identify themselves with them so that they could not move on.

Co-creating with our three higher bodies

Now my beloved, we have given teachings that there are certain beings called elemental life. They are, so to speak, the creators of form, or we should actually say the generators of form. You, who are the self-aware beings, are the co-creators of form because what you envision in your minds is what is being superimposed upon the elemental beings. These beings then generate those forms, but what I want to point out here is that an elemental being does not actually generate a form that is separate from itself.

An elemental being that, for example, manifests a flower is not a being that exists independently of the flower and then creates the flower and then sits there and looks at the flower. An elemental being becomes the flower, it takes on the form of the flower. That is why even the images that so many people are attached to, of these gnomes and undines and sylphs that you think are very cute, are not accurate because these beings, although they exist at a certain level, are not what we truly call the elemental builders of form because the elementals take on and become the form that they build.

The reason why I am bringing up this teaching, my beloved, is that I want you to consider that you yourselves function somewhat the same way as the elemental. When you envision a form in the three higher levels of your mind, you actually do not create a separate form. You are also in your own way taking on that form. Now, you realize that you can, for example, envision a house and you can build that physical house and you know that you are not becoming the house when you build a house in the physical. You might question what I am saying, but I need you to distinguish between what you can create with the physical body in the physical realm and then how you actually co-create with the three higher bodies.

I want you to realize here that what you see in the physical realm is only the tip of the iceberg and it is only the smallest part of your total creation. Whatever you create in the physical octave, you have already created a much larger manifestation in the three higher octaves, in the three higher levels of your mind—and you are living inside that mind, you are inside your mind. Even though we have given you the teachings of the Conscious You that can step outside of the three lower minds or the four lower bodies; you have to realize that for the vast majority of people, they are completely identified with their minds. This means that, just like an elemental who takes on the form of a flower, you have taken on the more complex form of your mind, your total mind, the four levels of your mind and your physical body.

In a very real sense you become what you co-create for you are identified with it and you live inside of it. We may, therefore, say that the essence of the spiritual path is that you come to the awareness that you are not your mind, you are not your body; you are not what you have created. An elemental being does not have the capacity to do this but you do because you are co-creators.

Stepping outside your creation

You have a Conscious You that can step outside of your physical body, look at the body and say: “I am not that body.” The conscious you can also step outside of your emotional body, it can come to see that these are just emotions, they exist at a certain level of vibration. Even though you have been used to experiencing the world through these emotions, you are not the emotions. You have not become the emotions anymore than your physical body and thus you can say: “I am not those emotions.”

Likewise, you can come to step outside of the ideas and images and beliefs that you have built in your mental body. You can come to see that these are just ideas and that they could be changed at any moment and that they have no ultimate reality in God. They are all created in that mental level and even though you have for a very long time related to the world through those images and matrices in the mental body; you can come to step outside of it, look at it and say: “I am not those thoughts.”

Likewise, in your identity body you can come to see that this is an identity you have created in response to conditions in the world. It is not who you are, it is how you are relating to the world. You can come to see that this is not real either. It is simply a vehicle you have been using but it is very much created in response to conditions in the world. Since those conditions are not ultimately real in God, you can come to see that even your identity body is not who you are and it is not ultimately real. You can come to look at it and say: “I am not that human self, I am not that worldly identity.” This then is the very essence of the spiritual path, namely that you come to dis-identify yourself from these four lower bodies that you are using only as an interface to interact with the world.

Why am I bringing this up? It is because what is it you need when you come to the realization that you are not your four lower bodies? You need to find a way to dismantle the matrices in your four lower bodies that are pulling you into repeating certain patterns. You understand that the function of Shiva is to help you be free of what keeps you tied to these old patterns. These patterns that keep you tied are actually created by taking the force of Vishnu to an extreme. This is allowed according to the Law of Free Will, but it is taking it to an extreme where you are upholding a certain matrix in the four lower bodies to the point where you feel that your Spirit, the Conscious You, has to reside inside that matrix and can only experience and relate to the world through the matrix.

In order to break free of those matrices, you need the force of Shiva and that is of course what my decree is all about. You can therefore use this as a very powerful tool to break up the matrices in your own mind that prevent you from transcending yourself and moving on to higher levels of the spiritual path. Of course, you can also use the call, the decree, to Shiva and even just the mantra: “Shiva,” to break up matrices in the world around you in order to set other people free. You realize, of course, that you are essentially a spiritual being, but while you are in embodiment (so to speak) or least while you feel you are in embodiment, you have the authority to call forth the light, the Presence and the Spirit of Shiva and direct it into conditions in your own mind, but also in the world around you because this is also part of the mind.

When you are in embodiment (when you are focusing yourself in a physical body that is living in a particular location) then, in a sense, you are also taking on and becoming the matrices in the emotional, mental and identity realms that create your entire outer situation. There is, of course, matrices for the entire planet and all people who live on this planet are part of those. There are also matrices for specific nations, specific cultures and groups of people. Of course, you become part of those also when you are born into a body in a certain country, such as Korea, where you become part of the matrix that is creating the current situation.

You have the authority to call Shiva forth into that matrix and to therefore unleash the power, the fire, of Shiva that can consume these matrices in the emotional, mental and identity bodies of other people, and even of the collective consciousness, that keep people trapped in repeating the same patterns over and over and over again. My beloved, when you look at planet earth, you can surely see that for thousands of years in known history – and I can assure you for millions of years beyond known history – people have been trapped in repeating the same patterns again and again and again. Who can look at this repetition of destructive patterns and not feel a certain sense that: “When will this end? How long does this have to go on?”

Well, indeed, it has to go on until someone decides to stop repeating the old pattern. How can you make that decision when you are completely identified with the pattern because you have become what you have co-created and what your specific culture or nation has collectively co-created? When you are completely identified with it, how can you ever step back and say: “I no longer want to repeat this pattern.” You cannot my beloved and that is why those of you who are the spiritually aware people have a tremendous opportunity to make the calls to free those who are still completely identified with the pattern.

How demons are created

There is another aspect of this that is somewhat complicated but nevertheless not beyond your capacity to grasp. Surely, those of you who have studied our teachings have a foundation for understanding these teachings. We have told you about demons, we have told you about dark forces and you must realize that everything that is co-created in the material realm, in the emotional realm, the mental realm and the identity realm (the four levels of matter), everything has a certain matrix that is a thought matrix created. The matrix can only be lowered from the identity to the mental to the emotional to the physical by being infused with consciousness.

There has to be a self-aware co-creator that envisions a matrix, infuses it with consciousness and therefore brings it down through the four levels until it becomes physical. What you need to understand is that consciousness is consciousness. Consciousness has a certain life of its own. You are a self-aware being and we may say, just as a matter of illustration, that when you are envisioning a certain matrix in your identity body, you infuse it with consciousness as a pure force.

In other words, you envision a matrix and through your self-awareness, you can draw the impersonal, the unaware, level of consciousness—the kind of consciousness that is not self-aware but it still has consciousness. You draw that into the matrix and you then release it into the mental, into the emotional and into the physical. In the process of doing this, most people lose the awareness of what they are doing. This means that when you create a certain matrix and infuse it with consciousness, you are so to speak, releasing it to take on a life of its own.

In other words, you may create a certain society. People may collectively create a certain society and they do this by creating a thought matrix and then infusing it with this level of consciousness that is not self-aware. As they feed their consciousness into this matrix, they are creating a spirit. It is not a self-aware spirit because it cannot step back from itself and choose to change. It will mindlessly keep repeating the same pattern. It does, after time, take on a certain consciousness. It is not self-aware but it is aware that it exists, that it needs energy in order to continue to exist and that it gets this energy from humans beings who are drawn into repeating the actions that created the spirit in the first place

Where this becomes important is, of course, that in a very general sense, everything that is created has a certain spirit that upholds it. We may even say that beyond the four levels of elemental beings, there is a whole level of these more complex spirits that are not nature spirits. They are the mind spirits created by the human beings, by the co-creators, in embodiment. There are, of course, many of these spirits who are benevolent and who are upholding the positive matrices that people have created. There are also some of those spirits that are what we have called demons and these were originally created, not by the co-creators but by the fallen beings. They used their minds, the four levels of their minds to envision certain destructive matrices and to infuse them with consciousness until they took on a life of their own.

Then, the fallen beings deceived co-creators into supporting their schemes and their causes, thereby feeding more consciousness into these demons until they have become very, very powerful. For every destructive manifestation on earth, you will see one of these spirits or demons that are mindlessly repeating the matrix and seeking to draw people into repeating the action. For example, you have, of course, a demon of war. You have many demons of war but they form a pyramid and at the very top is the overall demon of war that has become very powerful on this planet. It is so powerful that it can completely take over the minds of human beings in embodiment to the point where they are no longer functioning as self-aware co-creators. They are functioning as a kind of biological robots who are not thinking individual thoughts, but all of their thoughts come from these demons and they do not have the ability to step away from it and say: “I will no longer do this.”

What does this mean, my beloved? It means that this is the real explanation for the fact, you have seen repeated so many times throughout history, where you see people who are doing very inhumane things to other people. Mother Mary talks about it in her book about war [Help the Ascended Masters Stop War] of how it is a mystery for many human beings that you can get people to kill other people and how it only happens because people are blinded by the spirits, by the demons. Their minds are taken over and they are no longer thinking, they are no longer conscious. She talks about the fact that one of the deepest instincts that human beings have is for the preservation of their species. You have the preservation of the individual and the preservation of the whole of the species or at least of the group.

In order to get people to go to war, something must override this very basic instinct for survival. It is only when people’s minds are taken over by these dark beings, these demons and these spirits, that people can set aside their drive to preserve life and become, literally, killing robots who mindlessly carry out orders and kill other people without really being aware of what they are doing. Nobody who is fully aware of what they are doing can kill another human being. It simply is not possible, my beloved, it simply is not possible. Yet you see again and again and again how human beings act mindlessly to kill or torture their fellow human beings.

Killing your own family members

The reason I am bringing this up here is, of course, that when you look north of the border; you will see that you have one dictator at the top who, as Padma Sambhava explains has absolute power, but could he go out and personally suppress the entire population of North Korea? Could he go out and personally kill all those who oppose him or his reign? Obviously he could not. Padma Sambhava explained why the dictator is willing to kill anyone who threatens his sense of infallibility or his sense of power. Of course, in order to carry out this intent, he has to have people who are willing to kill their own countrymen, even their own family members in some cases, and who will do this mindlessly at the bid of the dictator or those in the hierarchy below him.

How do you get someone to kill their own family members or their own countrymen? You cannot do this by persuasion. You can do it only when people’s minds have been taken over by these demons. How can a person’s mind be taken over by a demon? It is because the person has given up the willingness to make its own decisions. How do people get to the point where they are not willing to make their own decisions? Only by being manipulated by the fallen beings over many lifetimes. A person is manipulated into supporting a certain cause and then experiences that this leads to disastrous consequences. When it happens over and over again that a person makes a certain decision and experiences disastrous consequences, then the person can become so wounded by this pain that the person no longer wants to make decisions for the fear of the consequences.

Truly, you see many, many people who have come to this point. There are many people all over the world but, of course, when you see a country that has a dictatorial form of government, you will see that a majority of the people who are embodying in that country, precisely are at that point where they are not willing to make their own decisions. That is why they have placed themselves under the power of a dictator who will make decisions for them and who then demands that they be like robots who mindlessly carry out those decisions.

Awakening the people in North Korea

How then, my beloved, can this situation ever be changed once it has been established, once the majority of the people in the nation are under the power of these demons, who only want to perpetuate torture, warfare, conflict in order to gain the energy that makes them more powerful? Well, it can happen because there is no country (and there never has been) where all of the people in that country were completely taken over and were completely at the point where they were unwilling to make their own decisions. There will always be a certain percentage of the people in any nation that are at the point where they are capable of making their own decisions. Some of these people will, as they grow up in that country, forget who they are. They will set aside their willingness to make decisions because they realize that they simply cannot exercise it in the conditions of that country. Some will also forget.

What I am pointing out is that right now in North Korea, there is a certain critical mass of beings, of souls, who have embodied there and who are capable of very quickly rising to the point where they are willing to make their own decisions. The only thing that is preventing this from happening is that they are still so blinded by the collective demon and the many supporting demons that are upholding the matrix for the nation of North Korea. If this matrix was shattered, then these people could become free to again be able to make actual, individual, aware decisions and this could change the equation dramatically in the country.

Even the dictator himself is so overpowered by the demon that is upholding the matrix for the North Korean nation that he has limited ability to do what Padma Sambhava talked about, namely decide to change course for the nation. Even he could potentially be set free to make more aware decisions by the shattering of this demon, or at least the consuming of some of the lesser demons so that more and more people would be free. This, of course, is one of my points for bringing up this entire teaching.

You who are the spiritual people – both in South Korea and beyond, for this is a worldwide issue – you have the opportunity to make the calls for the shattering of the demons that are upholding the destructive matrix for the North Korean nation. You are, of course, by me releasing this dictation in the physical, authorized by me to call upon my name to do this. Surely, an invocation will be made based on this dictation but you are free to begin at any moment by making the calls to Shiva for the consuming of the demons that are upholding the destructive matrix for the North Korean nation and the North Korean people. This is something you can begin at any time, but what I wish to do here is to make use of the opportunity that you are all here listening to this dictation as it is being spoken. With your permission individually, I will use your chakras to magnify the calls that I am making and so I ask you to visualize with me as I go into this next section of my release.

Shattering the national demon of North Korea

I ask you to visualize the North Korean border seen from the South. Now, you visualize that I, Shiva, stand South of this border and you may visualize me as a fire that is so intense that you cannot look upon it with human eyes for it is like the sun in strength. It is a fire that nothing on earth can possibly withstand. Now, you will see that you are all standing behind me in a triangle where I am at the point of this triangle and you are behind me in this triangle. My beloved, you now visualize that the fire that I AM is at the head of the triangle but your individual fires are behind my greater fire. We form this triangle of fire and now, very swiftly, we move northward and we create this triangle, this wedge, that moves into the North Korean nation and it moves not only physically but in the emotional, in the mental, in the identity realm.

We move swiftly, and suddenly we are right there in the capital of North Korea. We are standing right there in front of this entire apparatus that upholds the government. We are standing right there in front of that demon. Therefore, I, Shiva, say: “YOU ARE NO MORE! You are consumed by the fire of SHIVA! SHIVA! You are consumed and you are no more.” Now, you visualize how this triangle suddenly begins to open up and encompasses more and more of the circle and it moves outwards like wings that are spreading, and it closes in and encompasses the entire North Korean nation. You see how all of these demons are fleeing from the fire, seeking refuge in the space that is left but as the arms of the wings close, there is no space for them. They cannot avoid coming in contact with the fire, and as they do, they are consumed instantly by that fire. Therefore, I, Shiva, stand as the angel of God, holding my wings over the North Korean nation, thereby consuming all demons and dark forces that are upholding the matrix of that nation.

This is an action that is instantaneous, but you need to understand that because of the Law of Free Will, I do not have the authority to consume all of the demons on a permanent basis. I have by this action consumed a certain portion of them. I have shattered the matrix of the central demon upholding the North Korean national matrix, but it needs to be reinforced by your calls in order to filter down through all four levels and begin to have the effect of setting the people free who are capable of making individual decisions. You understand, as we have explained, that we can only do what we can do but that the human beings in embodiment also need to make decisions in order for things to change.

North Korea is a world-wide issue

You need to continue to make the calls for this and you may use this visualization over and over again to consume more and more of these demons and set people free to begin to actually think, to begin to question. At the very basic level they begin to question why they are killing their own countrymen and family members. Why is it necessary to kill people and to imprison people in order to uphold a certain regime? Would it not be possible to change the regime, to change the system so that it is not necessary to continuously kill our own people?

This is the basic thought that needs to be projected, and you can visualize how you are projecting this into the North Korean people. Then, of course, from there they can begin to question many other things but this is the very basis for change. When people begin to question why they have to kill each other in order to uphold the system, instead of changing the system so that the killing is not necessary, then change can begin to happen and it can escalate and spread from there.

I caution you, all people around the world, that this is a world-wide issue because North Korea has become a focal point for totalitarian forces. If it can be broken – and it will be broken in North Korea – it will have planetary ramifications and can very quickly have consequences for other parts of the world where totalitarian forces will begin to lose ground. This can be the beginning of a world-wide movement of shattering these totalitarian matrices that are found, not only in nations but in many other areas of the world, including the economy. You will therefore see that there can be the start of a new era where people can begin to wake up and actually think instead of mindlessly repeating the old patterns because their minds are taken over by the demons. I, Shiva, hereby seal this action, which is a mighty action and I permanently anchor a certain portion of fire over the North Korean nation.

Clearing South Korea

Now, as there is always an Alpha and Omega, I ask you to visualize that we are again standing at the border with North Korea but now we turn around and face South Korea. As you see me standing at the front of the triangle, you now visualize that we also go into the South Korean nation. Very swiftly, the fire of Shiva stands right there in front of the entire system and the power elite of South Korea. There is, of course, also a national demon of South Korea that is seeking to uphold the dualistic struggle between the two nations. Therefore, I also say: “I, Shiva, am sending my fire and therefore, YOU ARE NO MORE!” I ask you to visualize and make the calls that these dualistic demons of North and South Korea are both consumed and all the supporting demons are consumed and therefore the matrix of this divided nation is shattered.

How can you overcome division only by changing the North? Division must be between two and therefore the dividing forces are in both nations, in both divisions of the nations. Therefore, I ask you to also visualize and make the calls for the dualistic forces of South Korea, those who are forming a power elite that is enslaving the people of South Korea. This power elite is, in a sense, also making people mindless, not in a sense that they are killing fellow human beings but in a sense that they are willing to work countless hours and have their entire lives swallowed up by these gigantic corporations that are only looking to create profit and more profit. People mindlessly repeat those patterns that are only there to generate profit and nothing else, but nobody knows why they need all this profit. They cannot get out of the matrix and they cannot ask questions as to why do we enslave our own people in order to uphold this capitalistic system that is mindlessly generating more and more profit.

Again, I spread my wings from the border and I create now a smaller and smaller space where these demons are pushed together and the space closes in on them and they are consumed. Again, there is the action where a certain portion of the demons that are upholding the matrix of this divided nation are consumed. It is, again, up to you to make the calls to bring this down into the physical where the people can begin to question: “Why are we upholding the same matrix? Why are we seeing ourselves in opposition to North Korea who are our own brothers and sisters? Why are we seeing that the only way to create prosperity and that the entire purpose for our nation is to allow these big corporations to create more and more profit by enslaving our people so they never have any time, any energy, any attention, left over to question who they are and why they are in embodiment and what the purpose of life is and therefore discover a spiritual path.”

“What is the purpose of generating prosperity and wealth in South Korea if it is to keep people enslaved for their entire lives to these corporations? Is not the purpose of creating wealth that people have energy and attention left over to focus on their spiritual pursuits? Let us set people free, let us change the matrix for our nation so it is not focused on profit and corporations but is focused on people and so that we see that the essential resource that we have is the people. The purpose of our nation is to set the people free, not to generate profit for corporations, who do not need it, for surely they have no purpose in themselves, it is people who provide purpose for our nation.”

Thus I, Shiva, have spoken my peace, and I extend my gratitude to you for providing me this platform and for being willing to open your chakras to reinforce the action. Surely, I can do my work but it cannot filter down to the physical octave without you. You are the key to bringing change in the physical for you are in physical embodiment. You are Shiva in embodiment, as I am Shiva above. When you accept yourselves as Shiva in embodiment, as the fire, and that you have the authority to be the open door for my fire, then we together can bring change. Surely, we can consume anything that keeps people trapped in these old matrices. My beloved, the era of mindlessness is coming to an end on earth.

Ascended Master Padma Sambhava through Kim Michaels, July 1, 2016 during a conference in Seoul, Korea.

I AM the Ascended Master Padma Sambhava, and I would like to take you on a journey into the minds of a dictator. We will begin without focusing on any particular dictator because I do not want you to think that this only applies to one person. When you look at the long history of this planet, even as it is known in the history books, you can see that there has been a great number of leaders who have set themselves up to be in a position where nobody could object to their decisions. They had absolute power. If they said that things were going to be such and such, then things would become such and such and anyone who objected would simply be killed or removed.

Human and fallen consciousness

You may think that this is a phenomenon that is inevitable. You may think it is a product of the human consciousness. We have taught you about the ego that is part of the human consciousness and you may think that a dictator who sets himself up in this position of absolute power has simply taken the human consciousness and the ego to its ultimate extreme.

I would like to distinguish between “human consciousness” and “fallen consciousness.” What we normally refer to as human consciousness is a consciousness that is not necessarily so evolved. Actually, instead of human consciousness it is human unconsciousness or lack of awareness. It is simply that you have certain lifestreams who are not particularly evil and have no evil intentions, but they are acting based on their state of consciousness and they have only grown to a certain level. This can be because they have not been in embodiment for so long, it may be because they have been deceived into staying at a certain level or because they have not been willing to make decisions that brought them up higher. It is a lack of development, a lack of awareness.

A fallen being does not have a lack of awareness in the sense that it has not had much experience. It has had lots of experience, and that is why it has learned to manipulate others and to bend them with its will. Beings who have the fallen consciousness have learned how to take advantage of the human consciousness. They can cause those in the human consciousness to follow them blindly because they are either deceived into believing that the fallen leaders are benevolent or they are afraid of protesting in any way.

I want you to realize that the fallen consciousness, the consciousness of a dictator, is not simply taking the human propensity for selfishness and bringing it to some extreme. It is an entirely different level of consciousness. It is not a lack of development, it is a development that has deliberately been turned into a negative. The being is seeking to establish itself as a god on earth because it has refused to transcend itself and therefore become a god in the spiritual realm. This refusal to transcend itself did not happen here on earth, it happened for most fallen beings in a previous sphere and that is why the fallen beings feel no kinship with human beings who are evolving on earth. They see them only as tools and they have no compassion, no sense of connection with human beings.

Understanding fallen beings

Let us now journey into the mind of such a dictator. I can assure you that there have been many more of such dictators than what you have seen in known history. In past ages there have been some who have gone even further into extremes than what you see or have seen in recent history. I, of course, have spent quite a long time studying this phenomenon as have other ascended masters. We have often, while we were in embodiment, chosen to be in embodiment where we were in close relation with fallen beings because we wanted to study them up close in order to understand the mindset of a fallen being.

Now my beloved, placing yourself in close proximity to a fallen being is not a method of education that I recommend. In fact, if one is brutally honest (as one can, of course, be after one has ascended), then I can see that for myself there was a certain mixture of naiveté and pride in making the decision to associate myself with fallen beings. There was the belief that it was possible to understand a fallen being and there was the belief that I was capable of understanding a fallen being.

These are dangerous beliefs to entertain, and I tell you this because what I will give you in this discourse is a certain aspect of how the fallen consciousness works. I do not want you to develop the attitude that based on what I tell you and what other masters have told you in other books and dictations, you fully understand the fallen mindset. You must understand that the fallen mindset has a clear element of the irrational, and therefore it cannot be reduced to something that follows rational, logical, linear laws and patterns.

In other words, you should not come to a point where you think that you can look at a particular dictator (look at his attitude and his past actions) and use that to predict what he will do next. It can be very difficult to predict what such a being will do. There are certain times where it is very predictable because the being will continue the patterns it has demonstrated so many times. But there will be certain times where a dictator will do something unexpected, and it can be for the better or it can be for the worse. I say this because I am not giving you this discourse in order to have you take it and apply it to a certain individual and then think that this individual will always behave a certain way and could not change in a positive direction.

The illusion of perfection

The pattern you see in so many civilizations is that you have a king, an emperor or another ruler who has set himself up in this position of having absolute power because the person is believed by his underlings, his followers, to have absolute authority. You therefore see many who have set themselves up in such a way that they have been worshipped by the people for whom they were leaders.

You will know that in recent decades there has been a concept that has been broadcast in the world of leadership and leadership training, and it is the concept of “servant leadership”. What you see in many of these dictators is, of course, not servant leadership, and that is one measure you can use to recognize those who are in the fallen consciousness. For them the concept of serving the people simply does not compute, as they say. They are very clear that the people are there to serve them.

What does it take to set yourself up as a dictator who is being worshipped by your people as having almost god-like authority or even certain god-like personal qualities? It takes that you enter a specific variant of the fallen consciousness, which operates with the concept that there can be such a thing in the material realm as perfection. Something in the material realm can be perfect, meaning that it is above and beyond what could be achieved or manifested by any other person or at least by the vast majority of the people on earth.

It is again important for you to realize that this state of believing in perfection is not a development of the human consciousness. It is not a matter of taking the human consciousness or the human ego to its ultimate extreme and then you have this belief in perfection. Nay my beloved, this is a product of the fallen consciousness, which is qualitatively different from the human consciousness. Perfection is based on a total denial of your own identity as a son or daughter of God.

Being focused on yourself

We have told you that all lifestreams started out being created by their spiritual parents and sent into embodiment by your I AM Presence. You started out with a very localized awareness. By being in embodiment (whether in this or a previous sphere), a lifestream would raise its awareness of itself, its own creative abilities and of how its environment works. It is therefore possible that a being can achieve a very high degree of mastery in terms of creating the exact physical conditions that the lifestream wants. It can therefore come to believe that it has attained some ultimate state of mastery in terms of manipulating matter and even manipulating other people with the mind.

As we have explained before in greater depth, this is not true mastery. This is where a being becomes focused on itself and it seeks to raise up itself in comparison to others instead of attaining what Jesus described as the Christ consciousness. Here, you have an awareness of the all, and instead of only seeking to raise yourself, you are seeking to raise other people, you are seeking to raise all life.

The Law of Free Will allows that a being can walk this path of raising up itself until its sphere is getting close to the ascension point. Then, there comes that point where the lifestream needs to be faced with the reality that although it believes it has attained great mastery, it is nevertheless not ready to ascend. Many among the beings that this being believes are below it, are indeed ready to ascend, for they have purified their hearts, their beings and attained the Christ consciousness.

There comes that point where an ascended master must appear to such a being and confront it with the reality of the situation. It must then be presented with the choice that it can start walking the true path and be given all necessary help so that it can catch up and manifest the true Christ consciousness and the true mastery. If it is not willing to do this, then the being will descend or fall into the next sphere that is being created.

There are many examples of beings who have been very focused on themselves, very much in love with themselves and their own mastery. When confronted with reality, they have indeed turned around and made the decision to walk the path. They have caught up, they have manifested the Christ consciousness. This does not mean they have lost the momentum they have gained, but they have been able to change it and use it for raising up the All.

There are also examples of those who were not willing to make that decision. Instead, they chose to go into a state of mind where they believed that they knew better than God how the universe worked—or at least should work. They decided that they were going to take their free will to the ultimate extreme where they decided that they were going to prove God wrong and prove themselves right.

Seeking to prove God wrong

This then will cause a being to fall into the next sphere. When it has fallen, and when it starts taking embodiment again, it will have forgotten some of its previous existence, but it will have a very strong inner drive to raise itself up to be in a superior position in its environment. Because it has previous attainment on manipulating matter and other beings, it can very quickly attain a leadership position in its new sphere.

Such a fallen being can then begin to use its position to attempt to demonstrate its own superiority, its own infallibility, its own perfection. Beyond this, there are certain beings that attempt to prove God wrong by counteracting the directions that the beings in the new sphere are receiving from the ascended masters. Of course, in a new sphere all beings are tutored by the ascended masters and they are consciously aware of this tutorship.

The fallen beings will try to counteract this and destroy the people’s ability to tune in to us and their willingness to believe what we are giving them. In doing so, they can attempt to prove God wrong by getting people to believe something that is contrary to reality. They are, so to speak, creating their own world view. It is an epic world view where they are right in an ultimate sense and therefore someone else must be wrong. That someone else may be the devil or it may be God, but to them God is in a polarity with the devil. Therefore, they have created a relative God that is not the true, unconditional God.

There are certain fallen beings who are completely obsessed and focused on proving God wrong and proving themselves right. There are other fallen beings who are not quite as focused on proving God wrong. We might say that there are certain beings who have been dragged along with other fallen beings who had decided to prove God wrong. These beings (who have been dragged along with the others) do not have that drive to prove God wrong, but they have been caught in the consciousness of the belief in perfection. They do believe it is possible that one human being can be in a state of perfection that sets that person above and beyond all of the people in his kingdom or his state. Therefore, he comes to see himself as a leader who deserves to rule because he is always perfect.

Dictators have little personal power

Now my beloved, I said I would take you on a journey that would take you into the mind of a dictator. What goes on in the mind of a dictator who is in a position of absolute power and has millions of underlings that will follow him blindly (whether out of fear or because they believe in the claim to perfection)? You may think, when you look at these dictators, that they are very powerful beings. You may look at their outer actions and see how they are willing to exercise great power in terms of either military adventures, suppressing their own people or killing those who object to their rule. You may think, as many people think, that such a dictator is a powerful person and must have great personal power.

What does it mean, my beloved, to have personal power? It means that you are in control of yourself, your own mind, your own psyche. There is nothing outside of yourself that forces you to make a certain decision. In whatever situation you face, you are free to make that decision based on your own internal deliberations. You are not forced by anything outside of yourself and you are not forced by anything inside yourself in terms of past patterns that, so to speak, force you to make a certain type of decision.

You will often see that people who actually have such mastery are not in positions of power because they do not want to exercise power over others. They realize that the purpose of raising up the All is that all people grow in self-awareness, and they do not grow in self-awareness by having a dictator who makes decisions for them. They grow by making decisions for themselves, and that means they must be given the freedom to make those decisions.

The fear of being proven wrong

When you look into the mind of a dictator, you see that he is not free because he is constantly making decisions based on being forced by outer circumstances and his own internal circumstances. What is the primary internal circumstance that drives such a dictator? It is fear, my beloved. Those who are exercising the “greatest” power and those who are the most ruthless in exercising power are those who have the greatest fear.

What is it they fear? Well, my beloved, before you can deceive others, you must have deceived yourself. There are certain fallen beings who are extremely clever in an intellectual way. They are extremely clever at reasoning and they are extremely clever at either convincing other people or getting other people to go into a state of doubt where they do not know what to believe. Before those beings developed the ability to deceive others, they first had to deceive themselves. They had to believe their own illusions, they had to drink their own Kool-aid.

A dictator who believes he rules because he is in a state of perfection, he himself believes he is perfect otherwise he could not psychologically handle being in that situation. He could not exercise the kind of ruthless power to destroy anyone who raises doubt about his perfection. The dictator believes he is perfect and what does this mean? How can you uphold the illusion that you are perfect? Only by never making a mistake. What is the dictator’s greatest fear? That he could make a mistake, that it could be proven that he had been wrong in a way that was undeniable to some degree to his people.

What the dictator really fears is that he could make a decision that turned out to be wrong and that this was demonstrated in such a way that he himself would have to acknowledge that he had been wrong in an absolute way. Therefore, he would be forced to admit that he was not perfect after all.

Do you see, my beloved, that such dictators are completely driven by this fear? There is absolutely no measure on earth that they will not take in order to uphold the illusion that they are never wrong.

The difficulty they face, and it is an existential difficulty, is that when you are the absolute leader of a country and you are making a decision that your country should do something, then who is there to blame, who is above you, where you can pass the blame onto someone else? There is no one. You may need to try to put the blame on some external force outside of yourself and this is what you see in many dictators. They have been the leaders of a certain country but that country has not had absolute power on earth.

A dictator must have someone to blame

Archangel Michael mentioned earlier that there has never been a nation or an empire that achieved absolute power on earth and it is partly because of the second law of thermodynamics and the fact that such an empire creates its own opposition. It eventually comes to a point where it cannot overcome that self-created opposition, as it is reflected back. There is also a psychological component because no dictator who believes in his own perfection actually wants to be in a position of having absolute power on earth. Subconsciously, he rejects such a position because if there was no one outside of his empire that opposed him, where could he then place blame? You see how the dictator needs to have someone that opposes him so that he can always blame his own failures on opposition from that external force.

Or he may be able to blame his own people for not exercising their task as he told them to do or not doing it well enough. He may also be able to go into a state of mind where he is what psychologists call delusional. He has created his own fantasy world so that even those decisions that have clearly undesirable consequences, he can still (in his own mind) explain them away as not being mistakes. Therefore, in his own mind he can uphold the illusion that he did not make a mistake, that he therefore is still perfect. This is what you see in most of the dictators you have known. Hitler, Stalin and Mao, which are the three dictators we often mention, all were in this category. Inside their own minds, they had created a fantasy world in which they simply could not be wrong no matter what happened.

Could a dictator change?

The question therefore becomes: “Is it possible that a dictator could come to accept his own fallibility, to accept that he was not perfect?” What does it take for this to happen? In the case of Hitler, for example, his many failures towards the end of the war eventually made him realize that he was not perfect, that he had made wrong decisions and that the defeat of Germany was inevitable. You will know that for years he was in a state of denial, a state of delusion, where he was imagining in his head, moving around troops that did not exist, winning battles that were never fought or winning battles that actually were defeats. There came a point where he could no longer deny the reality that Germany would be defeated and therefore he could not live with himself anymore and committed suicide. You will also see that Stalin and Mao never reached that point and therefore they died believing in their own perfection and infallibility.

The question that I put before you is: “What does it take for a dictator – who believes he is perfect, who has drunk his own Kool-aid or drunk the Kool-aid given to him by his father – what does it take for such a person to actually be willing to admit that he is not perfect and therefore change the way he exercises power or give up that power?” It is a very delicate question that obviously has no absolute answer.

One potential is that a person can go through a shift in consciousness whereby he sees that instead of continuing to exercise power the way he has been brought up to do, he can actually attain a higher state of perfection by letting go of some of his power and giving his people greater freedom and abundance. There are examples from the past where this has happened. They are not many but they are there.

The reason I bring this up is, of course, that the most peaceful possible outcome of the division of Korea would be that a certain dictator went through a switch in his mind where he began to see that he cannot maintain his aura of infallibility by continuing to do what his father and grandfather were doing for so long. He can actually maintain a certain aura of infallibility by deciding that due to his magnanimity, it is better to give his people greater freedom and to open up for the potential that they could have a greater abundance, a greater standard of living.

In other words, this would raise him up to a greater state of perfection than his father and grandfather and make him seem like a leader who is able to take his people into a better age than what was achieved by his father and grandfather. It is possible that this can happen. How likely is it my beloved? Well, there is a greater potential than you might think, but again I will not give you a specific number. I desire those of you who are willing to do this, to change the way you look at this dictator and actually hold what Mother Mary has called the immaculate concept that a positive change could happen.

You may feel that this person has committed atrocities and that his father and grandfather committed great atrocities against the people of both North and South Korea. You may again feel the desire to punish or to make that person responsible, to make him see his mistakes. My beloved, what I am putting before you is the potential, as Quan Yin explained, that we can put North Korea on a track similar to that seen in China.

A development similar to China

Do you not understand that even though China (after Mao) did not have one almighty dictator, as Mao was, there was still a very small elite in China who had almost dictatorial, almost absolute, power. They had a need to maintain the infallibility, not only of them personally but also of the party, of the system.

How could they actually allow the opening up of China to doing business with the West and still maintain that aura of infallibility? Well, as you will see, they managed to do this, at least in their own minds and in the minds of a large percentage of their people. It was this shift in the mindset of the leaders – where they saw a different way to project the perception of infallibility – that caused China to be set on a new course. Now, China has gone so far on that course that it would be impossible to revert back to the older times. The Chinese people have gone so far that it simply would be impossible to go back to the state of affairs that existed under Mao. There would not be enough Chinese soldiers and special forces to kill the number of people that would have to be killed in order to go back to that previous state of centralized control.

The most positive outcome that could happen in North Korea was that it went through a similar transformation of starting on a track of becoming more and more open without the leaders of North Korea realizing what was happening. I, of course, do not consider it very likely that they would read this dictation or accept it as an astute analysis of their own situation. I desire you who are the spiritual people to hold that vision, if you choose to do so, that there can be a positive transformation that will lead to greater openness. This is what Archangel Michael and Quan Yin talked about: a greater exchange of ideas, of consciousness, of energies so that within a relatively short span of years, there can be a shift in the North Korean nation.

A shift in the international community

This will require a shift in the mindset of the international community where they will have to start treating the leader of North Korea with a degree of respect that they do not think he deserves. Again, it is only a matter of playing the game of realizing what is needed in order to bring about a shift that can become irreversible. Again there is no guarantee of how a mind that is so trapped in the fallen consciousness will react, but it is one potential scenario for how there can be a peaceful outcome of the current situation.

Of course, we who are of the Buddhic lineage, we always want to see the most peaceful possible outcome. I will tell you, my beloved, that we do not look upon the leader of North Korea through the human state of consciousness. Therefore, we have no animosity, anger or negative feeling and we would welcome if such a lifestream could actually be turned around and get on a positive track. We see the Buddha nature everywhere in all people and in all matters.

I have given you a piece of my peace. My peace is, of course, unconditional and infinite so in a way it cannot be divided up into pieces. I have given you a portion that I evaluated that most of you who are here would be able to handle and would be able to hold the balance for. There is, of course, much more peace that I am willing to give to those who will apply themselves to a path of discipleship under me. I have a long experience of tutoring individual lifestreams in overcoming the elements of non-peace in their consciousness.

If you are willing to look at yourself in the mirror, if you are willing to see the beam in your own eye or even the splinter that you have not so far seen, then you may apply to me. You may ask me to guide you and give my mantra at least nine times a day while spending a little time afterwards tuning in to my heart, to my infinite peace. Therefore, I seal you in that peace, and I extend to you my gratitude for giving me a platform whereby I could speak this to your individual minds and to the collective minds of this beautiful planet.

No more war on the Korean Peninsula

Ascended Master Mother Mary through Kim Michaels, July 1st, 2016, during a conference in Seoul, Korea.

I am the Ascended Master Mother Mary and I come to give you only a brief glimpse of the joy I feel when I hear you recite these rosaries and invocations in the Korean language. My beloved, it is a joy to hear the sound, but it is an even greater joy to experience the love and the fervour of your hearts. With hearts united, is there anything that cannot be achieved? Nay, my beloved, because what is it that causes things to go into a downward spiral? It is always division.

As Jesus said so many years ago: “Where two or three are gathered in my name, there I am in the midst of them.” aIt is because when you come together in that true spirit of harmony and oneness, then we can multiply your efforts so much more than when you are not together. Or when you are together physically but you are still divided in the emotional, mental or identity realms.

Individuality and oneness

Why is it that we have talked so much about individuality and the need to express your individuality? It might seem to many as if individuality makes it more difficult to come together in unity. This person wants to go here and that person wants to go there and the third person wants to go somewhere else and the fourth person wants to go nowhere. You end up with this complete state of division that you often see in the West. Here, what Archangel Michael called the unbalanced expression of individuality has led to this situation where everybody is going in their own direction and people cannot come together behind any single purpose. It is, of course, because they do not have the single mind individually because they are so divided within themselves.

Do you not see that if you are divided in yourself, if you are a house divided against itself, then you are not truly expressing your individuality? Your I AM Presence is not divided, it never was divided, it never will be divided by anything that could happen in the material realm. There is nothing that you have ever gone through in all of your lifetimes in this world that have caused any division in your I AM Presence. When you begin to tune in to your I AM Presence, then you will not be divided, you will be of one mind expressing your individuality.

When you, and you, and you and you are of one mind, expressing your individual individuality, you will suddenly find that you are not divided amongst yourselves. As Archangel Michael said, each of your individualities supplement each other. They each form one single facet of this beautiful glass mosaic, almost like the rose windows you see in the cathedrals where the many different panes of glass are all part of the whole. What do the glass pieces do? They colour the light that is shining through from the outside and in this case from the ascended realm.

You are all individual facets of the mind of God, the body of God, on earth. It is when you can see yourselves as such that you can truly be the open doors from the light coming from the ascended realm. It is this combination of the light that you have, that you have garnered over embodiments, multiplied by the light that we are that truly makes a difference on planet earth. It is this interchange, this figure-eight flow that scares the fallen beings more than any other factor.

What the fallen beings cannot control

My beloved there are fallen beings both in and out of embodiment who believe they have control over the earth. They believe that whatever can happen, they can control it and nothing can really surprise them. I tell you that when enough people unify through their individuality and when you unify with us, then the fallen beings will not be able to control it. It will be a factor that they cannot deal with because there is no way to control it from their level of consciousness and they are not willing to transcend their level of consciousness.

Even if they were willing to transcend their level of consciousness, there, of course, would not be a way to control the release of light. For it is entirely within the Law of Free Will that a group of people stand up and say: “No more, we do not accept this manifestation in the physical realm.” Therefore, I ask you to affirm with me that there shall never again be war on the Korean Peninsula. I will therefore ask you three times and then you will answer me in your own language: “Yes.” That is, of course, if you agree that there shall never again be war on the Korean Peninsula. If you do not agree, I ask you to kindly remain silent. (Laughter).

No more war in Korea

I now ask you: “Do you accept that there will never again be war on the Korean Peninsula?” (The students respond “Yes”). “Do you accept that there will never again be war on the Korean Peninsula?” (Students shout “Yes”). “Do you accept that there will never again be war on the Korean Peninsula?” (Students respond “Yes”). Then we will say it one more time to bring it down into the physical octave: “Do you accept that there will never again be war on the Korean Peninsula? (The students respond again “Yes”).

I, Mother Mary, also accept that there will never again be war on the Korean Peninsula and all members of the ascended masters accept that there will never again be war on the Korean Peninsula. Through this agreement, through this agreement of you here below and us Above, we will now all accept in our hearts that it is a manifest reality.

My beloved, you see that even though there are those who will say that these are empty words, I assure you that they are not empty when they are endowed with the fire of your heart. Those, of course, who do not recognise the fire of the heart will not be able to see why the words are not empty. My beloved, let them have their way, let them go their way, and you go the higher way of oneness. Oneness with each other and oneness with the ascended host whereby we will change the earth so that those who will not come up higher will have to go to another planet.

Therefore, this planet will be free from the consciousness that has caused so much division, so much conflict, so much warfare. It shall be no more on the Korean Peninsula, and therefore I say to the people on this Peninsula who are trapped in the warring consciousness: “I now serve you notice. You have a last opportunity to let go of that consciousness, or you will be taken out of embodiment before you would think it possible. I pronounce the judgment of the Divine Mother upon those who are in the warring consciousness, be they in and out of embodiment, be they on the Korean Peninsula or in other nations where they are seeking to maintain a state of conflict on this Peninsula. For we have now claimed the Korean Peninsula for the Divine Mother and the cause of Peace.”

And therefore it is manifest. It is manifest for your hearts and my heart have spoken it in the physical.

Ascended Master Kuan Yin, July 1, 2016 through Kim Michaels at a conference in Seoul, Korea.

I am the Ascended Master Kuan Yin. I have been called and seen by many as the Goddess of Mercy, but what is mercy? Is mercy not that which sets all life free, setting free both the giver and the receiver of mercy?

Is it not so, then, that it is extremely important for people to realize that when you give forgiveness, when you give mercy, you set yourself free? Is it not equally important to realize that in so many situations in life, in so many situations on the planet, the only way to achieve personal or national freedom is to show unconditional mercy, unconditional forgiveness?

The past cannot be changed

Last year in Europe, we talked about the need to forgive unconditionally in order to set the nations and the people of Europe free from the scars and burdens of the second world war. Does this not apply equally here in Korea and in Asia?

There comes a point, my beloved, where one needs to recognize that one cannot change the past. If all the mighty emperors of China, or of any nation, stepped forward in all their splendor, in all their power, could any of them change the slightest thing that happened in the past? You cannot turn back the clock; you cannot go back in time and change what happened in the past. What can you do? You can change how the past affects your mind in the present. When you change how your mind is affected by the past, then you have also changed how the past will affect the course you take as you or your nation flow on in the ongoing river of life.

Is there room for growth in Buddhism?

There are many deep teachings to be found in the East. There are many deep teachings that come out of the various directions found within Buddhism. I do not say the religion of Buddhism, for although so many people in the West like to label Buddhism as a religion, many people in the East know that it is not a religion as it is seen in the West. It is more a system that flows on and transcends.

Of course, we must be aware that even Buddhism has fallen prey to the human tendency to want to ritualize and organize everything. You may visit even the temple here in downtown Seoul and see the huge statues of the Buddha and the intricate details of the temple. You may then ask yourself: “Given how the Buddha lived, given how he taught in a very simple ashram, how did it go from that simple origin to something so elaborate, so organized, so ritualized?”

Where is the room for the flow of the Spirit in a system that has become so ritualized that it makes it very difficult for people to express what Archangel Michael talked about as your Divine individuality? Where is the room for individuality in such a ritualized system? And therefore, where is the room for growth?

You can change only in the now

Nevertheless, you can find many profound teachings that come out of Buddhism. One which I want to bring to your attention is that some of the unwritten teachings of the Buddhist’s in Tibet portray life the way we have been portraying it now through this messenger for several years, namely as an ongoing flow. We have called it the River of Life.

When you understand the River of life, you understand that it is a process. This is important to keep in mind because the human mind, especially when it has been affected by the dualistic consciousness, wants to organize everything in a linear fashion. Certainly, you may say that this tendency to linear thinking is more prevalent in the West than in the East, but you also find it in the East because it is a general human tendency.

You think in terms of time and you divide time into past, present and future. You are so focussed on either the past or the future, that you ignore the now. The now is the only time in which you can change direction.

If you are not in the now, you cannot change direction consciously. If you do not change direction consciously, then your past will determine your future. It is only in the now that you can consciously change direction so that your future will be a different course than the one you were on before you became conscious and before you made that decision to change.

Life has no final result

When you truly understand this concept of the River of Life, you realize that there is no final, end result to be achieved. This is profound. This is important to contemplate, for you have been so used to thinking in terms of certain final, end results that must be achieved or the consequences are dire.

We have talked about the epic mindset that portrays life as a struggle between good and evil and there is a result that must be achieved, namely that good eradicates evil. If good does not win over evil, then evil will take over and take all souls to a dark place. You see, my beloved, this has no reality whatsoever, no reality whatsoever. It exists only in the minds of human beings who have been seduced by the duality consciousness, led by the fallen beings, to fight for this ultimate cause that is supposedly justified by some epic philosophy.

Do you not see that communism is an obvious example of such an epic philosophy where there is an end goal that must be attained, namely the spreading of communism throughout the world? Do you not see also how the Christian religion has been influenced by this epic mindset? Again, all people must be converted to Christianity or they will end up in a fiery hell that truly does not exist for it was never created by God.

Life is an ongoing process

My beloved, the River of Life is an ongoing process. It is an ongoing process because it is created by all of the self-aware beings that exist in your sphere. We have explained that there have been other spheres before yours and that these other spheres have all ascended because the inhabitants of those spheres brought that sphere to the ascension point by raising their consciousness. Based on this, one might say: “But Kuan Yin, is that not an end goal?”

You see, it is not an end goal in an epic sense. It is, in fact, not an end goal, for when one sphere ascends what then happens? Those who have raised their consciousness sufficiently to cause their sphere to ascend, now raise their consciousness even more by co-creating the next sphere and by sending extensions of their own beings to inhabit and embody in that sphere. So there is ongoingness.

There is no end goal. There is no end, as there was truly no beginning, for everything is an ongoing flow. Since the linear human mind cannot deal with an ongoing flow with no beginning and ending, it desperately wants to create some epic tale that there was a beginning and there will be an ending.

Earth cannot change the universe

When you recognize that life is a flow, you realize that planet earth is a very small planet in a very large universe. Although there are 7 billion lifestreams in embodiment on earth, this is a very small number compared to the innumerable lifestreams that exist in your sphere. The vast majority of those lifestreams are raising their consciousness to increasingly higher levels, and this is what has created the River of Life that pulls on everything in your sphere to come up higher.

My beloved, if you only know the earth, if you only focus on the earth, you could potentially fall prey to the illusion of the fallen beings, namely that the earth can influence the universe or can influence God or God’s plan. When you recognize the Law of Free Will – and realize just how many lifestreams are in your sphere and how many lifestreams have chosen to join the River of Life – then you see that there is no way that the earth or the lifestreams on the earth can influence the whole.

You are such a small part of the whole that you cannot pull it backwards. Therefore, you need to recognize that you are being pulled upwards by the entire universe. Although you have free will and can resist this upward pull, it becomes increasingly difficult to resist. This is what we have also explained as the second law of thermodynamics where, when you turn yourself or your nation into a closed system, it requires more and more resistance to maintain that closedness,

Therefore, there would come that point where you can no longer generate the force needed to resist the upward flow of the River of Life. This means that what makes your system closed must and will break down. This holds for an individual, it holds for a nation, it holds for humanity as a whole.

Isolationism in Korea

When you look at the history of Korea, you see the tendency (that you also see in other areas in Asia) to isolate and insulate yourselves from the surrounding world. This is a tendency that is directly against the River of Life. You cannot survive in the long run by isolating and insulating yourself.

It can be very difficult to understand this, and in terms of the Korean people there is a special twist that I wish to bring to your attention. When you look at the people in the larger area of Korea and when you look back in time, when you look today especially here in South Korea, you see that you belong to a people who are peaceful, peace-loving people. You desire to have peace.

Why have you not then had peace in your history? Why are you divided today? Because peace cannot be attained through control, through attempting to control your outer situation, through attempting to stop the flow and create a static state where you think you have everything under control and therefore you can maintain peace.

You cannot maintain peace through control. You can maintain peace only by flowing with the River of Life whereby you are constantly adapting to changing circumstances. When you attempt to close yourself off from the world, then you are creating a resistance and you must generate a force to uphold the resistance. This will either create internal conflict or it will attract an outside conqueror who will attempt to take over.

Now, it is very understandable that a peace-loving people want to create peace. They want to create a peaceful, harmonious society. When peace is taken to an unbalanced state, then even peace can become a source of control, a source of resistance and thereby a source of conflict.

The River of Life does not require effort. You do not need to exercise great effort to flow with the River of Life. It is when you desire to go to one extreme or the other extreme that it requires effort. That is why even a positive quality, like peace, can be used in an unbalanced way that still leads you to a situation where you are resisting the flow.

North Korea is not the problem

This is important to understand in understanding how a peaceful people could come to a point where you have endured invasions, occupations and now, for so many years, you have endured this division of your own nation between North and South. It is also important to understand this so you can begin to see how you can overcome this division and what is the only way to overcome the division. This, of course, is something that also applies to other nations in Asia where you see similar tendencies.

You have come to the point you are at right now because you have resisted the flow of the River of Life. You may look at the situation right now. You may identify a certain problem, as the linear mind has a tendency to do when it is affected by the duality consciousness and the epic mindset. You want to identify a problem and you want to identify a physical cause of the problem, and that usually means that some other people are identified as the cause of the problem.

You may therefore say: “South Korea is a non-communist nation with far greater freedom and democracy than North Korea. Therefore, when it comes to the division of the Korean peninsula, North Korea is the problem.” You may then identify the leaders of North Korea as the problem or the people as the problem or both as the problem. You might sit here and say that they are the ones who have to change before we can have peace.

Now, from a human viewpoint this is not an unreasonable sentiment. Mind my words: from a human viewpoint this is not an unreasonable sentiment. Certainly, I am not standing here condoning what the leaders of North Korea are doing to you or to their own people. I am not condoning the attitude that has been programmed into the North Korean people. I am not saying that they do not need to change.

Of course, there needs to be change in North Korea, for they are far more unbalanced than South Korea. This is why you see North Korea having to exercise greater and greater effort to keep their own country and their own people under control of this small leadership. There is no question that this is an unbalanced state, and I am not condoning or excusing what is happening there.

My point is to show you that if you, the people and the leaders of South Korea, point to the North as the problem, what are you doing? You are disempowering yourself. You are saying we cannot bring peace to Korea because peace cannot be brought until they change.

How South Korea can bring change

My beloved, how likely is it that they will change anytime soon when they have not done so for so long? You can all see that it is not very likely. The choice that you face is: Will you wait for them to change or will you do something to bring about change?

What we desire you to recognize, especially you who are the spiritual people, is that because of the way the Law of Free Will works, you are never disempowered. You are never pacified. You are never in a situation where there is nothing you can do.

You, my beloved, you who are the spiritual people, have already proven that, but I speak also into the collective consciousness. What you can do as the spiritual people is of course what you are already doing: walk the path and raise your own consciousness, seek to manifest Christhood, give your invocations and decrees and also speak out whenever you have the opportunity.

What could be done collectively, as the nation of South Korea (and as the other nations who are involved in the equation of the divided Korea) is to take a stance and say: “What can we change that will change the equation?”

You understand, my beloved, that when you have a mathematical equation, you have certain factors on one side, you have an equal sign and then you have a result on the other side. You may have several factors on the left side, and as long as those factors remain the same, the result on the other side will remain the same. If you change one factor on the left side, you will change the result.

You can do something to change the equation on the Korean peninsula by changing your own approach to the situation.

Albert Einstein was inspired to say that you cannot solve a problem with the same state of consciousness that created the problem. He also said that if you keep doing the same thing over and over and over again, but you expect that one day you will get a different result, well then you are insane. What you see going on in many areas of life on this planet in the situation between nations is a form of insanity. People think that we don’t need to change, we need to keep doing the same thing and then one day these other people will magically change.

Seeing the value of forgiveness

This is not the way progress happens. Progress happens when someone looks at the situation and decides that they will no longer be disempowered. They will take back their power to do something about the situation and then they will do whatever they can do. What you need to begin to visualize, as the spiritual people, is that the people of South Korea come to understand the value of mercy and forgiveness.

Surely, there is much to forgive, but the value of forgiveness is that when you forgive, you set both the other people and yourselves free. The only way to be free is to let go, to forgive, to show mercy. As I said, you cannot turn back the clock to the time before Korea was divided. You can only look at the situation as it is, and then you can accept two things. First of all, the situation is as it is. Second of all, we achieve nothing by holding on to the past, by being angry or hurt about the past. We achieve nothing constructive, that is! You do achieve the fact of keeping yourself tied to the past and the consciousness of the past.

What will it take to change the situation? So many times people look at a physical situation and they say that this and this and this needs to change in the physical situation. How many times have we told you that there are four levels of the material universe and that the physical conditions you see are only a reflection of the images held in the consciousness of the people at the three higher levels? What it will take to change the physical situation is first a shift in consciousness.

There must be a shift in consciousness before there can be physical change. This shift in consciousness has already begun because, as Archangel Michael said, many, many people have chosen to embody in both North and South Korea in order to bring about this change.

You, who are the spiritual people, can have a tremendous impact in terms of reinforcing this tendency by your own growth, by your own shift in awareness, by your decrees and invocations. You can become the forerunners, the ones that are, so to speak, directing and steering the ship. You know, my beloved, that if you have a large ship with a large wheel that turns the rudder, then even a slight change of the rudder, even a slight change of the wheel, will cause the ship’s course to change a little bit. In the short run you may not see it, but in the long run you will see a big change. That is why just a few people can have a tremendous impact.

Change must begin in South Korea

The change that needs to happen is a change in consciousness, and it must begin in the South because you are the more free nation, you are the more aware nation. When we of the ascended masters look at a nation, we do not first of all look at the outer manifestations. Certainly, the outer conditions in a nation are an indication of the consciousness of the people.

What you see that South Korea has achieved since the war, since the near total destruction that followed from the war, is tremendous progress. This progress in the physical could not have been achieved if there had not been a change in the higher levels of consciousness also, but the change can be accelerated further. What we of the ascended masters look at is not just the outer conditions but first of all the consciousness of the people, the collective consciousness.

Why did Saint Germain, at our conference in Holland, say that: “Korea is the key to Asia”? It is because, when we look at nations, we see that the people of South Korea have achieved a high level of what we might call self-awareness where you are aware of yourselves, what you are doing, what you have achieved in your society.

It will not take very much to bring this to a higher level where you also are more aware of yourselves as spiritual beings and of your spiritual potential. When there is this shift, the people can begin to see (and even the politicians, who are often the last ones to see it, will begin to see) that if there is going to be a dramatic change in the relationship with North Korea, then South Korea needs to bring about that change. And the change needs to be brought about by doing something differently than has been done before.

Overcome the desire to punish

I know well that the Korean people, and many among the Korean leaders, would like to see reunification, but certainly also a greater openness, cooperation and interchange. This is the change that could be accelerated by realizing what I have said. You cannot change the past, and in order to be free from the past you must forgive, you must let go.

You cannot have the attitude that those who caused the conflicts and the atrocities of the past must be punished for their actions. If you have the desire to punish, you cannot forgive, my beloved. It cannot be done. Therefore, you must overcome the desire to make someone responsible.

Again, I am not saying that no one is responsible. Certainly, there are people who are responsible and who were responsible for what happened in the past. My beloved, rest assured that the Great Karmic Board will hold those people responsible for their actions and they will not escape their karma. That is why you, who are in embodiment, need to recognize the wisdom of the saying where God said to the Israelites: “Vengeance is mine, I will repay.”

The meaning is that God will make sure that all will reap what they have sown. All will be held accountable for their actions, and therefore you, who are in embodiment, do not need to set yourselves up as the ones who carry out the punishment of others. If you do so, you only tie yourself to the dualistic consciousness where you make them wrong and you set yourselves up as the judges who will punish others. When you do this what are you sending into the cosmic mirror? That you desire to continue in a situation where there is a dualistic struggle, where you are in a struggle with someone else.

How shall there be reunification of Korea? Only when both North and South transcend the dualistic struggle, and who is capable of doing this first? Certainly, the South. There needs to be an awareness that we cannot approach the North as if they have done something wrong and they deserve to be punished.

More openness with North Korea

You need to recognize a very simple fact, and you can get a hint of this by looking at the situation in China. Look at how the West attempted to deal with The Soviet Union during the cold war. There was constant conflict, constant opposition. In the end, was it this constant resistance that caused The Soviet Union to collapse? Nay, it was not. It was actually the internal resistance that caused it to collapse.

With China, the West took a different approach, and it was to seek more openness, more interaction, more business dealings. My beloved, you may not want to make a direct comparison between the regime in North Korea and the regime that existed in China three or four decades ago, but is there really such a big difference? If the West could trade with China – and ignore what China did in terms of human rights abuses, ignore the communist system but still trade – then would it not be possible to do the same with North Korea?

What has been the effect of trading with China? It has more than anything else been an interchange between the Chinese people and people outside of China. What is it that causes a nation to stagnate, to close itself off, to go in to a downward spiral, to see itself as a fear-based nation surrounded by enemies that it must constantly resist? It is that there is no interchange between the people of that nation and people in the greater world. The people inside the fortress never have an impression, a frame of reference, of how other people look at life, look at the world, look at themselves.

You may point to many physical things that have been part of changing the equation with China, but the most important thing is the exchange of information and consciousness between the Chinese people and those in the greater world. This has caused tremendous changes to happen in China, and it has brought China to a point where it would be impossible for the Chinese leadership to turn back the clock and reinforce the same control by a centralized system that you saw those decades ago.

What do you see in North Korea? The people are isolated from the surrounding world. What does this mean? They believe everything they are told by their leaders, for they have no frame of reference, they have nothing to compare the information they get from their leaders to. How will they know whether what their leaders are telling them is true if they do not interact with other people? Can you see the need to change policy so that the nations need to start treating North Korea, even the North Korean leadership, as any other nation, as a nation we can negotiate with, we can do business with, we can interact with?

Again, I am not condoning what is happening within North Korea, what the North Korean leaders are doing. I am only pointing out that by greater openness from the surrounding world, there would begin to be much more of an interchange of ideas and consciousness and this would inevitably change North Korea.

The risk for nuclear war

It is true, of course, that continuing the policy of isolation will reinforce the internal resistance built up by the Korean leadership and the people loyal to them. Sooner or later North Korea will collapse from within, but what will be the cost of doing this? There is a potential that a regime that sees the handwriting on the wall, will do something desperate to prolong their existence.

In the final days of the Soviet Union, there was a very real risk that some among the Soviet Leadership would have seized power and would have launched a military campaign with nuclear weapons and conventional weapons to maintain their control of the Soviet Union. It was a real risk.

There is, again, a risk in North Korea. Even if this does not happen, the internal collapse of North Korea would create tremendous suffering for the North Korean people, much more than they have endured so far—and they have endured much. This, of course, is not what you desire to see. Many of them are your family members; they are your spiritual brothers and sisters. That is why I put into the collective consciousness the necessity to rethink policy and to become more open towards a nation that is so closed that all involved can only benefit from greater openness.

Resistance from Japan, the U. S. and China

In this regard, there will be a special resistance, first of all from Japan but also from the United States. This is because Japan is too concerned about the competition that would come from a united Korea, which would be much stronger economically. There is also a certain fear of military conflict. I am not saying this is well-founded, I am only pointing out what is going on in the Japanese leadership and to some degree the people.

There is a recognition, mostly subconscious, in Japan that the Korean people are far more creative than the Japanese people and therefore have the potential to overtake Japan as an economic power. Because Japan has not managed to bring itself out of its own downward spiral, that is caused by a lack of creativity, they do not want the Korean people to go ahead of them. There is a certain desire to hold Korea back and this you need to make calls on.

Even in the United States, there is a resistance towards a united Korea. This is because there are people in the United States who are still so trapped in the dualistic mindset that they want to maintain the illusion of an epic struggle. This is unfortunately a factor that the American people have not freed themselves from, which you can see if you follow the presidential campaign and the statements made by one of the candidates. You will, of course, also see it in many other politicians in the United States. I can assure you that if you could see what I see, you would also see it in the hidden power elite of the United States that does not want to lose the tension and thereby the mechanisms for control that a divided Korea gives them. Nor do they want to lose the tremendous income that some make from weapons that, of course, will be unnecessary if there is no longer tension.

There are, of course, also forces in China who are resisting a united Korea, for they believe that they will have greater influence over the North than they would have over a united Korea. There is also a certain fear there of the economic power of a united Korea. There is opposition from Russia, but less so because currently the Russian leadership have their attention focused elsewhere.

Nevertheless, it is wise of you to make the calls for the exposure and the consuming of this opposition to a united Korea. There will need to be a shift in the international sentiment towards the situation in order for the change I am outlining to happen. Again, you, who are the spiritual people, can become the forerunners for a dramatic change whereby you will awaken and align the many people in North and South Korea who have embodied here for the purpose of bringing down into physical manifestation the Golden Age Matrix for Korea.

Only light can change Korea

You have already well begun, my beloved. As they say, “Well begun is halfway done,” but still it can require some work to get that other half to be a physical reality. Thus, we all wish to commend you for the work you have done in terms of translating the books, the websites, the decrees and invocations. In terms of coming together, of creating instruments whereby you can reach out, you can meet, you can coordinate your efforts.

Of course, we want to commend you for this conference, which is in a spiritual sense truly a turning point for Korea. It is a turning point by the fact that you have come together, and it will be even more of a turning point when you can raise your sense of unity in the coming days, your sense of unity amongst yourselves and with us in the ascended host.

Be not blind to the fact that there are people here from other nations outside Korea, for they can help open up pathways of light that will bring about the changes that I talked about, that need to happen in the international community. Therefore, you together can bring forth the impetus for a change in the collective consciousness both in South Korea, in North Korea and in the other nations that are part of the equation. As I said, changing one factor in the equation, changes the end result, but when you begin to change all of the factors, then you shift the end result even more.

I tell you, the equation of Korea has already shifted by the mere fact that you are manifesting this conference, but it can shift even more by your combined efforts, your combined efforts of working with us over these next days. In your own minds, look if you have elements of non-forgiveness, of anger, of resentment, of the desire to punish, to blame, to place blame—and then be willing to let it go.

My beloved, if you are to achieve the highest potential for this conference, then you, especially you who are from Korea, you need to free yourself from all elements of this resentment, anger, desire to punish. You need to forgive and to let go because only by emptying yourselves from these lower feelings, will you become the open doors for the light from the ascended realm. It is, as always, only the light from the ascended realm that will truly change the equation.

My beloved, imagine the equation of Korea. You have an end result, you have an equal sign and you have certain factors. These factors are the nations involved: South Korea, North Korea, the United States, Japan, China, Russia and so forth. Now you add, and you have added, another factor and that is the spiritual people in Korea and elsewhere working together with the ascended masters. Suddenly, you have a factor that can become far more powerful because you have a higher level of awareness than all of the other factors.

My beloved, if you can free yourself from the non-forgiveness, the lack of mercy, you will have a higher awareness than any of the leaders of the nations involved, you will have a higher awareness than the collective consciousness. Therefore, your impact on the equation will be far greater, for it is not only the number of people that multiplies the effect but also the level of awareness and the level of openness, the willingness to be the truly open door for the light from the ascended realm.

When you are the open door through your total forgiveness, then we of the ascended masters become another factor in the equation. Then, you will see change happen almost as in the blink of an eye. You will look back in the not-too-distant future and scarcely believe that such a dramatic change could happen so quickly. People will say: “But how did it happen? What brought it about?” They will look for physical causes of this change and they will find none, for the cause is the figure-eight flow between you in embodiment and the ascended masters above, the River of Life that is more powerful than any physical cause.

Thus, with great love, with great joy, I seal you in that flow of the River of Life. I extend to you my willingness to help each one of you let go of all non-mercy and immerse yourself in the unconditional mercy of the Goddess of Mercy that I AM. Kuan Yin I AM, and I am here with you and in you—if you will let me.

The unification of Korea is closer than you think

Ascended Master Archangel Michael, through Kim Michaels, July 1st, 2016 at a conference in Seoul, Korea.

I AM the Ascended Master Archangel Michael and I come to open this beautiful gathering of beautiful beings in this beautiful nation. I directed the messenger to shake your hands individually to signal that you individually are all important. There is no way to bring the Golden Age into manifestation without the individual. The Golden Age will not be brought in an unconscious manner. Therefore, you need to recognize that although there is a collective consciousness, the collective consciousness cannot transcend itself collectively. Only the individual can transcend itself and only when enough individuals transcend themselves, can the collective consciousness be raised.

Shifting the mindset to value individuality

What will it take to bring the Golden Age into manifestation, not only in Korea but in Asia? It will take that there is a shift in mindset, a shift that goes very, very deep into the collective consciousness of Asia. What do you see when you look at the history of Asia, Korea, China, Japan, many other nations that you have today? When you look into the past, you see that there has been a tendency for the state or the whole to be seen as being far more important than the individual.

In fact, there has been a tendency to see the individual as not being important at all, except maybe with the exception of a few leaders who have been seen as important. For the vast majority of the population, the individual has been nothing and the whole or the state has been everything. This is not the Golden Age mindset, it is not the Golden Age matrix. As I said, only the individual can bring forth new ideas and it is new ideas that are the foundation for the Golden Age.

We have explained to you that there are four levels of the material universe and that anything manifest in the physical world starts as an idea in the identity realm, then brought into the mental realm, then brought into the emotional and finally into the physical. There are, of course, manifestations that you see today that were not brought forth this way for they were brought forth from a lower level. They were brought forth by fallen beings, by dark forces, in the physical or in the emotional or even in the mental and lower identity realms. These ideas did not originate in the ascended realm as true ideas do. They were brought forth and created in the manifest world.

Why ascended masters are part of the golden age

It is important for you to realize that it is not possible to bring forth a Golden Age, unless you receive the Golden Age matrix, the Golden Age ideas, the Golden Age vision from the ascended realm. This is because that which originates in this world cannot transcend its own vibration, its own consciousness. If it had been possible, then the world, planet earth, would long ago have ascended to a higher level of consciousness. This is why the ascended masters are an essential part of bringing forth the Golden Age. There can be no Golden Age without the ascended masters. It is not possible or it would already have happened.

As you can clearly see, the lower consciousness can only bring division and more division. It can only uphold that division, as you see symbolized in the division in Korea but also in the division you see so many other places on this planet. We have talked about the duality consciousness that is based on the illusion that you are separated from God. You have free will to experiment with this consciousness in order to experience what it is like, but in order to free yourself from that consciousness there is only way. You must go so far into the divisions of the duality consciousness that you have had enough of division, enough of conflict and you long for something more. When you long for something more, when you ask for something more, then the only way to manifest that more is to reach for the ascended masters.

This is not said in any prideful or artificial way. You have all been programmed to believe that you need the elite here on earth and behind them the elite of the dark forces and fallen beings in the other levels, but we of the ascended masters are not an elite. We are not here to control you or to manipulate you. We are here only to set you free. The fallen beings do not want to set you free, and that is why they can only magnify division until it becomes so extreme that it either destroys itself or causes people to say: “We want more than this.” The ascended masters, therefore, are in no way seeking to control you, we are here only to offer you our service—when you decide that you are willing to be free, you are willing to come up higher, you are willing to be more.

Why no one-world government

We do not in any way force ourselves upon you and that is why you have seen so many manifestations on earth that have led to conflict and warfare. Look at any continent on earth, look here in Asia, look into the past and see how many conflicts there have been, how many conquests, how many attempts to take over other people, to take over other nations, other areas and to go further and further towards establishing a one world nation that is dominated by a small elite. Why, my beloved, has there never been such an empire where one central leadership controlled the entire world? Surely, the Chinese people have attempted to establish this, as have the Romans, as did the Soviets, as have many other empires in the world.

Why have none succeeded? Because the duality consciousness makes this impossible. It can only create division, and the division becomes more and more extreme until people begin to wake up and say: “We have had enough, we will no longer follow these dualistic leaders, we want a different form of leadership.” That is when we of the ascended masters can offer you a different form of leadership that is not a centralized leadership. We do not work with a centralized structure, especially not in the Aquarian Age.

We do not need to have a centralized structure on earth as long as we have people who can tune in to us individually in their own hearts and minds. We have no desire to set up any person or any small group of people as a ruling elite on earth. We have no desire to give a monopoly to any person or any group of people. You see what this has led to in the past where there have always been the formation of a small elite who attempted to take over any new ideas that were brought forth from our level.

You see this very clearly in Christianity with the emergence of the Catholic Church who, as we have explained many times, perverted the original teachings of Jesus and used them to justify a political institution that had only one purpose and that was centralized control. What was the basis for this control? It was that there is only one person, namely the pope, who is the vicar of Christ. There is only one person who is the mediator between the ascended masters and the people. Of course, the Catholic Church does not even mention ascended masters but the idea is the same. There is a heavenly realm but only the pope can communicate with that realm. This, of course, is not the Aquarian Age model, which is why we have never presented this messenger as having the exclusive right or sponsorship to communicate with the ascended masters. He has no desire to present himself that way either.

The golden age is not centralized

The Golden Age that Saint Germain envisions for Korea and Asia will not be brought about from a centralized point. It will be brought about through many individuals who get their individual ideas, but it can be greatly reinforced if those individuals can develop a sense of community consciousness, a sense of all being part of the same movement. You individually work with us, the ascended masters, but you also can work together in the Omega realm, work together horizontally.

You have already seen here a proof of what can be accomplished when individuals work together to come together in a group. There is great value in a gathering like this because you, by coming together, multiply the effort greatly. The decree you just gave to me was multiplied exponentially by the fact that you all gave it together and so it is with anything you do together in a spirit of harmony and cooperation.

What has been attempted to be achieved in the past by the fallen beings is that they have attempted to destroy individuality to the point where no one dared to stand out from the crowd. Everyone was brought up to have a certain role, a certain station in society. Everyone was programmed to do the tasks that were defined by their role and to never do anything more than what they were programmed to do. This is not individuality, my beloved. Certainly, in order to do something together, you need to cooperate. Sometimes there is no room for individual expression when you are together. But there is still room for individual expression in many ways when you cooperate in a spirit of harmony that is beyond division.

This is what you have already demonstrated the ability to do. Those of you who are here, those of you who are a part of your vigils to give invocations and decrees and study the teachings, you have demonstrated this willingness to come together and to grow together. This is what we look for.

We are not looking for you in Asia to start manifesting the kind of individualism that you so often see in the West. There, the individualism has become a dead end for many people where they are not seeking to develop divine individuality but their human individuality. This can become for many a life-long quest that eats up all of their attention, all of their effort, but it does not lead to true spiritual growth. Neither does it, of course, lead to spiritual growth if you do what so many people in Asia have done and submit yourself to tradition, to family, to society. If you are just living your life almost as a robot, doing what is expected of you by others then you are not expressing individuality either. Again, as with everything else, there is a middle way, a golden middle way that leads to the Golden Age consciousness.

Taking off your overcoat

I would like you to envision that it had been winter and you had all come here with a big overcoat and naturally, before you entered this room, you would have left the overcoat outside. When you look at yourselves and each other, you do not see yourself with this overcoat, you see yourselves in your indoor clothing. When I look at you, I do not see the overcoat that you are all wearing, I see you as you really are.

What is the overcoat that you are all wearing? It is all of the things that were put on you as you were growing up by your family, by your society, by your school, by the media, by the government. All of these outside influences have caused you to take on an outer personality.

You, who are from this nation of Korea, have grown up in your particular culture. I am not saying that there is anything particularly wrong with the culture, whether it be Korea or any other nation on earth. Each nation has a certain culture that is innocent because it is individual to that nation. Each nation also has aspects of the culture that limit the expression of your spiritual individuality, and this is what I want you to start thinking about. This is the overcoat that is weighing you down because it is heavy and it restricts your movement.

You know what will happen if you all were wearing a big winter coat in this warm room. You would start to become very hot, you would start to sweat, your body would feel uncomfortable and pretty soon your attention would be drawn from listening to my words to being focused on your bodily discomfort. All of your energy would be spent inside that overcoat and there was no attention going to the outside. You would be so focused on how hot you were, how uncomfortable it was, how you couldn’t move, how you wanted to throw this off, but you feel like you can’t throw it off.

Do you see how many people have been brought up with this cultural overcoat that makes them so focused on themselves, their own psychology, their own situation? They are so completely focused on this that it eats up all of their attention and they never have any attention left over for wondering: “Who am I as a spiritual being? What is my Divine plan that I chose before I came into this embodiment?”

The teachings we have given through this messenger are designed specifically to help all of you, whether you are from Korea or any other nation, begin to gradually throw off this heavy overcoat of your cultural upbringing. This will help you gradually discover your true divine individuality that I see but that many of you do not yet see. It will also help you discover the Divine plan that each one of you made before you came into embodiment.

What I am saying here, my beloved, is that you may see yourselves as Koreans, but I do not see you as Koreans. I see you as spiritual beings who have had an existence that goes very far back in time. Most of you, who are open to these teachings, have embodied many, many times on earth even before there was a nation of Korea, even in past ages that are not known to history today. Therefore, you are spiritual beings; you are neither Koreans, Americans, Chinese, Russians or whatever. You are spiritual beings.

Why are you embodied in Korea?

Why are you in Korea in this lifetime? Why have many of you been embodying in Korea for several lifetimes? It is because in between embodiments (when you had the greater clarity that allowed you to choose your Divine plan) you chose that you wanted to embody here in this lifetime and you had various purposes for this. One aspect of your Divine plan is your personal growth, and you felt that (given who you were, given where you were at in your growth) this could be fulfilled very well here in this nation. Another aspect of your Divine plan is what you wanted to bring, not only to the nation of Korea but to the earth and the raising up of the earth in general.

Many of you have been aware of Saint Germain for some time, and at inner levels you decided that you wanted to help bring forth his Golden Age and so you chose to embody here. What happens to all who come into embodiment is that, of course, you forget your Divine plan. The density of being in the body and suddenly seeing life through the four lower bodies makes it very difficult to remember your Divine plan. What we desire for all of you is, of course, that you rediscover your Divine plan. You get that intuitive knowing that is beyond the intellect, and certainly beyond any outer influence, of knowing who you are, why you are here, what your gift is, what you came here to bring. When you do this, you will find great freedom, you will find great joy, you will also find that you begin to see how your Divine plan works well with (fits in with, supplements) the Divine plan of others.

My beloved, we have too many times seen an ascended master teaching that gave rise to an organization where people came together. With their outer minds they thought that they had come together to serve the ascended masters, but what you saw was many different power plays that were playing out between individuals. This is what we know that you have the potential to overcome. You do not manifest a Golden Age by repeating the patterns of the past. There have been so many power plays in the past, both in the world and in ascended master organizations, and that is why we have given such extensive teachings on the ego and on human psychology. You have the tools to rise above this and to truly unite in a common goal and a common vision.

My beloved, many of you chose to embody in Korea because there is a great potential for Korea showing an example of how you can transcend the duality consciousness and truly manifest the Golden Age consciousness. Few nations in the world today are more divided than Korea, between North and South. When you look at this division from the normal human level of awareness, it may seem as if it is impossible to overcome this division. You see the attitude of the North, the leadership of the North even many among the people of North who have been brought up, programmed, brain-washed, to see you as enemies. Even though many of you are related to these people, they see you as enemies because they have been brought up to see you this way.

The fanaticism that has been programmed into them may see to be so deep, so radical that how could it ever be overcome. But you will remember that Jesus said: “With men this is impossible, but not with God, for with God all things are possible.” I, Archangel Michael, when I look at the Korean peninsula, I do not see division. I see only one Korea and one people, for I see that what the people in the North have been programmed with is also just an overcoat that temporarily covers their inner beings.

The potential for change in North Korea

My beloved, you are the people who were attuned to Saint Germain and who chose to embody in South Korea in this embodiment. Do you think that you are the only people attuned to Saint Germain who chose to embody in Korea? Do you not realize that there were also people who are attuned to Saint Germain but who chose to embody in North Korea, precisely in order to help bring forth the shift in the collective consciousness that will make it impossible for the leadership to hold on to their power. I know it may seem impossible, but if someone had told you in 1990 that within a year the Soviet Union would have collapsed, would you have believed them? They would have been labeled as madmen and yet you saw how this conglomerate of the Soviet Union suddenly faded away and gave way for something new. This can happen in North Korea, as well.

I will tell you that the more impossible it may seem from the human level, the closer it is from the spiritual level. You chose to embody in South Korea because your nation is the more free of the two so you have the potential to hold the spiritual balance for the people in North Korea to be awakened from the programming they have been subjected to. Then, they can remember who they are, they can remember why they embodied in North Korea in this lifetime. Thereby, they can accept who they are and accept their potential to stand up and say: “No more.”

You, of course, can also stand up and say: “No more.” In order to do this, what must you do? You must overcome the duality consciousness so you are not divided within yourselves, are not divided amongst yourselves. The more you can come into unity here in the South, the more of an impact you will have, the more of a magnetic pull you will create.

My beloved, the leaders, the military of North Korea may have attempted to turn their nation into a fortress where no one can leave and no one can enter but the fortifications they have created are physical. Although there are, of course, dark forces behind the leaders in North Korea who have attempted to create fortifications in the emotional, mental and identity realms, I can assure you that those fortifications are no match for the ascended masters.

We can clear away all the obstacles in the identity, mental and emotional realms, but we need the authority to do so and we get the authority from you, who are in embodiment in South Korea and who can make the calls, as you have already been making the calls. The calls you have been giving over these last few years have had a tremendous impact in allowing us to clear these fortifications, these walls, these barriers in the identity, mental and emotional realms.

Nothing is impossible for Archangel Michael

My beloved, there is nothing impossible for me. I am Archangel Michael. The word impossible does not exist in my vocabulary. I did not say the word “impossible,” for I cannot use that word. It is impossible for me to use the word impossible. It was only your ears who heard “impossible,” for I can only talk about what is possible. I can only see what is possible, for everything is possible with the power that I embody for this planet.

There is no force on earth that can withstand the power of Archangel Michael. This I know, for I have demonstrated it SO many times. Therefore, when you make the calls, when you authorize me to use that power, I can and I will clear away all barriers in the emotional, in the mental, in the identity realms and when those barriers are cleared away, you will begin to see breakthroughs in the physical.

In fact, you are already beginning to see breakthroughs in the physical in North Korea. You do not know what is happening because it is, of course, being denied and kept hidden by the regime. There are many more things happening at the physical level in North Korea than you are aware of. I, of course, see all and therefore I know what is happening. With more calls, with more unity, more will happen.

My beloved, I am Archangel Michael, I see only one Korea, a free Korea. It is not a matter of if Korea will be united, it is only a matter of when. I tell you, the powers in North Korea will not be able to delay this for as long as most people think. It is closer than you think, and when you do your part, it can move closer still.

I will not give you a time, for it would either give you false hope or discourage you. I wish you to keep an open mind that this unification of Korea is moving closer and closer to physical manifestation. I want you to see how the Golden Age matrix for a united Korea is already in the identity realm, is already beginning to move into the mental, is already beginning to move into the emotional and therefore is constantly coming closer and closer to physical manifestation.

I want you to feel – every time you give a decree, every time you give an invocation – I want you to feel and visualize how the Golden Age matrix is dropping deeper and deeper down around you until you individually are standing in that Golden Age matrix. It is manifest where you are, as it is manifest right here physically where I am speaking these words.

Therefore, I seal you in the gratitude of an archangel, in the gratitude for you coming together and allowing me to be who I am in a more physical manifestation than I can normally do, for I of course have ultimate respect for the law of free will. Therefore, my gratitude and my sealing of your entire being in the blue flame protection of Archangel Michael.

Ascended Master Mother Mary, June 26th, 2016, through Kim Michaels.

I AM the Ascended Master Mother Mary, and I welcome the opportunity to speak to you about the topic you have had a conversation about, namely your spiritual gifts. Much has already been said that came directly from us through this messenger, but I would like to add a few thoughts here.

There are millions and millions of people in embodiment right now who have reached the level of spiritual attainment in past lifetimes that means that they have certain gifts. I do not want to define gifts in too narrow of a way because some people have gifts that have not really been seen on the planet before.

The essential shift on the spiritual path

In order to bring humankind into the New Age, there needs to be an incredible shift in consciousness. Most of you cannot – with your conscious minds – grasp how big of a shift this is. You can grasp aspects of it by looking at yourself and the changes that you have gone through since you started your individual path, perhaps many years ago.

You will know that when you first started, you had certain ideas that you believed were absolutely true. You had those ideas because when you are in embodiment on a planet as turbulent as earth, you need to have some foundation. You need to have something to grasp on to that gives you a sense of stability and continuity.

Of course, the challenge on the spiritual path is to come to the point where you realise that: “What I thought was an absolute truth, what I have never really questioned and what I have felt gave me stability in an insecure world has now become a hindrance to my progress. Therefore, I need to question it, I need to look beyond it and I need to let it go.”

How to look at spiritual gifts

So many of you have gifts and as the messenger said: Before you come into embodiment, you are not looking through the filter of your four lower bodies. The four lower bodies are filled with the influences from your culture, your parents, your family, people around you, all of the things that you take in as you grow up. You are not looking through this while you are outside of embodiment. Therefore, you decide that there is a certain gift you want to bring forth and it looks perfectly logical for you before you come into embodiment.

After you come into embodiment and your mind is clouded by the filter, then all of a sudden your gift looks entirely different. Many people cannot even see it or at least they do not dare to consciously look at it. Other people certainly cannot see that it is a gift they have chosen because it does not fit into the boxes created by their filter, by their upbringing. That is why it is not necessarily constructive to lock your mind on a certain idea of what it means to have a spiritual gift and what you should do with it. You need to be careful not to fixate your mind by looking at other people and what they have done.

Now be mindful that there are two aspects of this, it can be helpful to look at people who have a gift and be inspired. There is a reaction you need to avoid. You need to avoid looking at a person who has a certain gift and saying: “Oh I could never do anything like that” because that will, of course, not inspire you to bring out your gift.

Perhaps you are right that you could not do what that person is doing, but you might be able to do something else that is equally important. You need to be willing to realize that if you feel you have a gift, but if you feel you are not expressing that gift or you don’t know exactly what it is, then it is because your gift does not fit into the mental boxes you have in your four lower bodies.

Discovering your gift

You need to ask yourself the question: “What is it, what are the beliefs that I have not questioned, that I think are absolute truths, what are the things that are giving me stability and how do they stand in the way of the expression of my gift?” Then, you need to start gradually questioning some of these beliefs and ideas, including the ones you have gotten from without, but including sometimes ideas you have got from spiritual or religious teachings.

There are many spiritual teachings that do not have the concept of gifts. They are not really designed to empower you and to inspire you to find your gift. There are certainly very few religions who have these concepts and are designed to inspire you. Many religions are, in fact, designed to make you deny that you have any special gifts or abilities and therefore be like everyone else. Conformism is not the way to develop or become aware of your spiritual gifts.

You need to start this process where you become consciously aware of what “the path” is all about. The path really is about coming to consciously see that there is something in your psychology, in your mind, that is standing in the way of the flow of the Spirit through you. This may be beliefs, it may also be a certain trauma you have had from experiences in your life. It may be certain psychological patterns or misunderstandings. It may be a certain view of yourself that you have from past lifetimes where you tend to put yourself down and feel that you are not important or that you are not valuable. It may even be a certain ego-based view that you are important and you are better than others and this can also stand in the way.

As the messenger expressed, there are many people who have had an ambition of being an expression or a messenger for Spirit. If there is a human ambition, then that will also stand in the way of the expression of your true gift.

What is a spiritual gift?

Now, my beloved, consider the word “gift.” There are many, many spiritual people who are talking about gifts. They think that this is something that they receive and that gives them a special ability that sets them apart from others. You see, a “spiritual gift” is not something you receive to keep. It is not something you receive so that you can use it to make yourself seem more important than others. A spiritual gift is something you receive so that you can give to others, so that you can help others, so that you can help the ascended masters. That is a gift.

A spiritual gift is not something you keep, it is something you give on. If you can adopt this attitude and truly lock in to what that means, then you will find that your awareness of your spiritual gift will increase and you will receive a much more clear idea of what is your individual gift.

Many of you, I must say, will have to go through quite a process before you are ready to express your gift. This messenger went through quite a process himself and it took him many years to get to the point where he was at that total surrender, the ability to totally surrender, and this is a good point to strive for. You have no human ambition, you are not seeking validation, you are simply open and attuned to what Spirit wants to bring forth.

Human ambitions and false gifts

Of course, we see many spiritual people who want a gift because they think it will give them some advantage. Some want to receive attention, some want to be acknowledged, some want to have power over others, some want to make money. These are the human ambitions that will stand in the way of the expression of your real gift. There are some people who have been so unbalanced in their desire for a spiritual gift that they have tuned in to lower forces than the ascended masters and therefore have had certain abilities but they are not true spiritual gifts.

If you see someone who has an ability to impress others that makes them feel that he is special, or perhaps even to control others or make them co-dependent on the person, then you know this is not a spiritual gift that comes from the ascended masters. It comes from lower forces who need something from people in embodiment, namely their energy. As the messenger said, we do not need your energy, we do not need to be worshipped as people have been worshipping God for thousands of years. This is not our need or our desire.

What good would it do me to have people worship me when I know who I am and I know my relationship to God? I do not see myself as God, for I know I am only a part of the pyramid of life and there are beings beyond me, who have much greater awareness and attainment than I do. It is from them that I receive the energy that I pass on to you. When I know this, why do I need anyone on earth to worship me as a God, or worship me even as the Catholics do, thinking that if they light a candle or say so many “Hail Marys,” then I will be like Santa Claus who will do something for them so that they do not have to take responsibility for themselves.

This is not who I am as an ascended master, but this is how there are lower forces that will impersonate me and other masters, or other spiritual beings or even God, in order to get people’s attention and through their attention get their energy. My beloved, there are, of course, many false teachers in the world. Beware of those who want something from you and seek out those who do not want to receive anything from you but only want to give.

Multiplying your gifts

You understand, my beloved, that the concept of the multiplication of the talents does not mean that when you multiply what you have been given, then we receive the multiplication. It is not so that if I give you a gift of positive energy and you multiply it, then I receive the energy back and I can now absorb or use this energy. The reason you need to multiply what you have been given is that this is how we can continue to give you more.

When I say multiply, I do not mean multiply in a quantitative way where you increase the amount. Multiplying what has been given means that you use it selflessly to help others, to raise up other parts of life. That is when you have multiplied the gift, and that is when we know that we can safely give you more because you will not use it for selfish purposes. It is when we see this that the law allows us to release more to you.

What do you also have to give up in order to express your gift? You have to give up the idea that you are the doer as a separate being and that you have abilities and powers that enable you to act as a separate being. This is, of course, a very delicate process that does take a long time, but it is part of Christhood, it is an essential part of Christhood.

As Jesus has said, there are ten thousand people who are ready to manifest and acknowledge a very high degree of Christhood and there are millions more who can very quickly manifest a certain degree of Christhood. They need to become aware of the fact that you need to overcome the focus on self and the illusion that you are a separate being and that you can do things.

How we can do anything

Surely, you can do things with the physical body and it may seem like you don’t need any energy from the ascended masters to do certain things with the physical body. This is to some degree true because you do receive energy from the food you eat and other sources. My beloved, if you received absolutely no energy from the ascended masters, your body would die instantly, you could not even keep the body alive.

There are many people on earth who only receive the amount of energy needed to keep the body alive because they have not multiplied anything. For most of you, you receive far more from us, and the essence of Christhood is that you come to the point that Jesus expressed when he said: “I can of my own self do nothing.” He acknowledged that it is the Father within, it is Spirit within, it is the ascended masters who are the real doers because we provide the energy that you can only get from Above. You cannot get it horizontally, you cannot steal it, my beloved, you cannot take with force the energy you get from us.

What Jesus meant when he said that the violent take heaven by force is that they attempt to take it by force, but it is not truly heaven they take. They cannot take high-frequency spiritual energy by force. They can take energy by force from other people and then they can use it to perform certain feats that may make it seem to the unaware that they have spiritual gifts or abilities but it is all a facade. Those who have true spiritual gifts do not use them that way to impress or control others. They use them selflessly to bring forth something that helps other people by setting them free by empowering them.

Giving without a return

When you truly lock in to the Spirit, you realize that you need nothing from this world. Of course, that is a statement that must be qualified because you do need to feed your body and you do need to have a roof over your head. You do need to have money to do this in the kind of society you are living in. Nevertheless, when you realize that you do not truly need it, then you can shift your attitude to the point where you are not coming from a sense of lack, feeling you need something and therefore you feel that in order to give something you have to receive something in return.

You can come to the point where you are willing to give freely because you know that the universe will multiply what you give freely and therefore find the way to give you what you need so that you can have food on the table and a roof over that table and you can do your work. You don’t need to see a direct payback for the gifts that you give freely. This is the beauty of the consciousness that Jesus was in and maybe he demonstrated it two thousand years ago in a more extreme form than most people need to demonstrate.

Nevertheless, you see that how he walked around and owned nothing and therefore nothing owned him. He freely gave but somehow he also received from the universe what he needed to continue his ministry. When you adapt this attitude, then the universe will give you what you need to continue giving your gift to others. That, my beloved, is the beauty, the essence of working with the ascended masters. Freely ye have received—freely give.

Never being alone

When you truly understand this principle, then you have manifested the beginning stages of Christhood and then you can truly start going upwards from there. It can be a beautiful journey where we walk hand in hand and you know you are walking with us and we are walking with you. You are never alone and you are never lost. You always have a sense that you are on the right path towards the goal that you and we have set for this lifetime.

My beloved, should you reach the goal that you have set for this lifetime, then you can do even more than you envisioned when you made your Divine plan. This, of course, is the higher stages of Christhood where you are doing more than you envisioned before you came into embodiment. This is what Jesus did, what many other people have done, what some of you have already done and what many of you can do, if you are willing to follow the path that we have so carefully outlined in so many ways that there must be some way that resonates with your heart.

It may not be what we have been bringing forth through this messenger, but surely if you are open there will come a point where you find what resonates with you and can help you become aware of your gift and start giving it in a more conscious way than you have done before. With this, I thank you for providing me a platform where I could multiply what you have given and therefore reach wider into the collective consciousness than if you had not been willing to be the chalices for my release. My gratitude, and my blessing from my heart.

Spiritual communities in the Golden Age

Ascended Master Gautama Buddha through Kim Michaels, May 17, 2016. This dictation was given at a conference in Holland.

I AM the Ascended Master Gautama Buddha. It has been my privilege to seal many of these gatherings of ascended master students where you have been willing to come together in order to experience what you desire to experience, but also in order to give us a better platform for releasing the light and the teachings we desire to release.

The effect of people coming together

Do you truly understand the effect of coming together in a spirit of harmony, unity, oneness of purpose? When we release a dictation, there is an outer teaching that your outer mind can study. You may even go into analyzing the teaching in whatever level of detail you desire. Some, of course, analyze it to death, but others know how to use a teaching to stimulate getting their intuitive insights that go beyond the outer words.

This is, of course, very valuable, but when we release a dictation, we also release the teaching with a certain momentum of energy—light. This gives it greater penetrating power to go into the mass consciousness and therefore awaken more and more people so that they suddenly are able to grasp the ideas we are bringing forth, or even accelerate themselves on their own path, whatever that path may be.

It is clear that if the messenger sits alone and releases a dictation, there is a certain momentum. When more people come together in a group, then your chakras combine and they form a greater amplifier. You have, for example, seen musical concerts where they have a big number of speakers that are working together because they are synchronized. This is a crude illustration of what happens to your chakras when you come together, when you know each other, when you have a spirit of harmony, when you have given invocations together. Over the course of these few days, you actually build a great amplifier of the combination of your chakras, and this greatly increases and multiplies the momentum of a dictation so it penetrates much further into the collective consciousness.

What I want to impress upon you is, as we have said before, that the multiplication of this is exponential. You know that two plus two plus two is six whereas two times two times two is more. The greater the number of people who come together, and the greater the level of harmony and oneness they can attain, the greater the multiplication factor will be. I want to congratulate you for once again, this year, creating an event that has had a very powerful effect on the collective consciousness of Europe.

We are grateful for this multiplication factor. As happened last year, you have exceeded the potential for this conference, and therefore you have earned the release of Mother Mary’s visualization and transformative process last night. It was not necessarily a given that this would be released at this conference. Because you had already done the work that we wanted to see done, by supporting the release of the eight dictations from the Chohans and Mother Mary, then it was determined that we would release that also at this conference so that you who were here could have that firsthand experience of being taken by the hand by Mother Mary back to see your birth trauma.

The Aquarian community

What you have done here is that you have, in this short amount of time, built a community. You will know that when I was in embodiment as the Buddha, I emphasized three elements: the Buddha, the Sangha, the Dharma. The Sangha, of course, is another word for community. The reason for this is that we live on a planet that is quite difficult, quite challenging—in many ways quite dark. As we have seen in the past, there have been a few individuals who were able to walk the path alone, but in the Aquarian Age, we are looking at an entirely different model. We are looking for an age of community where people support each other.

When I was in embodiment as the Buddha, I elected – for a set of complex reasons that really are not so interesting today – to withdraw from society and create a community that was set apart. I was sitting there in the community, and I had the students come to this protected sphere. This has value. It is not that this model has become outdated by the end of the Piscean Age. It is not that this model will not be seen in the Age of Aquarius. There will be communities in Aquarius that are set apart from the mass consciousness.

However, what you have seen in the Age of Pisces is that there has been a creation of communities that saw it as their role to isolate and insulate themselves from the world and its problems, however they defined them. You have seen some communities where people would make a lifetime commitment to become a monk, a nun or a member of that community, whatever the name was for those members. This is a model that will not be as useful in the Aquarian Age.

In fact, even in the Piscean Age there were many examples of how such communities did not actually help either its members nor the collective consciousness grow. The people simply became trapped in a very comfortable state where nothing challenged them, and therefore they did not grow. There are many examples of Christian monks and nuns, but also many Buddhist monks and nuns, who have entered a community and simply did not grow beyond a certain point for the rest of that lifetime. Instead, they would actually have grown more by remaining in society where they would have been challenged more. What we look for in the Aquarian Age is a different approach to community where you realize that community is not an end in itself. Community only has meaning when it exists as part of the trinity of the Buddha, the Sangha, the Dharma.

Buddha, Sangha, Dharma

What is the Buddha? Well, the Buddha is a representation of what you experience as the flow of the Spirit from the ascended masters, the impulse from Spirit. What is it the impulse from Spirit ultimately wants? It wants to be expressed in the world. As you know, for the impulse of Spirit to be expressed, the Law of Free Will mandates that there must be people in embodiment who become the open doors for expressing the impulse

from Spirit. This is where the Sangha has its most important role. It is a place where people can go, or where they can help each other where they are—support each other so that they become able to be the open doors for the expression of Spirit. Then, when they have attained that certain level of consciousness (mastery, openness), then they go out in society and express it in society.

There is little point in attaining mastery in an ideal situation and then keeping your mastery confined to that ideal situation. First of all, for your own growth you need to actually test if you can maintain the mastery in a less than ideal situation. You also need to – in order to grow further – use your mastery to raise the All, to help others. This, of course, requires you to go out where people are and help them there. It is not that I want to put any limitations on the exact form of spiritual communities in the Golden Age. I do not want to give you a certain matrix and say: “This is the ideal matrix for how they should function.” There are many ways to implement this, but what I would like to give you is the thought that the Sangha is not a physical place.

There are many, many examples – and you can find them today all over India and also in the West – where a certain guru has set himself or herself up with an ashram. Then they have gotten followers to come in and receive whatever teachings, darshans and blessings they receive. The guru sits there, much like the queen bee in a beehive or the queen in an ant hill, and all of the students are running around, making sure that the guru can function in his or her capacity. This is not the Sangha. This is not the community. A true community, a true “coming-into-unity,” can only be done among those who are somewhat equal in their level of consciousness but, more importantly, who have overcome the ego’s need for being special, for being superior. You cannot come into unity unless you have transcended the entire need to feel that you are better, more important or more special than others.

A Tool for Healing Psychological Trauma

Ascended Master Mother Mary through Kim Michaels, May 16, 2016. This dictation was given at a conference in Holland.

I AM the Ascended Master Mother Mary, the representative of the Divine Mother for earth. It is my intent with this release to give you a tool that can be used over and over again for healing any kind of psychological issue or trauma. It is specifically designed to help you heal what we have called the “cosmic birth trauma.” This is a tool that should be acknowledged as being for people who have reached a certain level of the spiritual path. It is not a tool that should be used out of any human ambition, of wanting to seem to be an advanced student or wanting to think you are ready for anything.

You should be familiar with our teachings on the cosmic birth trauma, you should be familiar with our teachings on dark forces and you need to invoke protection [from Archangel Michael] each time you use this tool. You also need, after having gone through the visualization I will give you, to use an invocation that might be appropriate for whatever psychological issue you are dealing with. We have a large number of invocations for different aspects of psychology [see www.transcendencetoolbox.com], but I suggest, to begin with, that you give an invocation for helping people love themselves. You can also create a vigil out of this exercise where you give the exercise once a day and after each visualization, you give one of the invocations from my Course in Abundance [see www.morepublish.com], as they work well together with the purpose of healing your psychological issues.

This is a tool, that should not be used by those who have severe psychological issues that require professional attention. You should not be using this if you are in a deeply unbalanced state. This is not because the tool itself is dangerous, but because it is a visualization that takes you deeper into your psychology. It can uncover unbalances that you cannot necessarily deal with if you are not in a somewhat balanced state. Having given you these cautions, it is, of course, my joy to present you with a tool that can help you heal your psychology and attain what our beloved Saint Germain has called “mental freedom.” We will now begin the visualization.

Beginning the visualization

Visualize that you are standing in front of a wall. It is a very tall wall. You cannot even see the top. It extends to both sides and you cannot see where it ends. You can see that the wall is very thick, made of stone, but it is not stone as you know it from earth. It is a substance that vibrates at a higher level.

You realize, therefore, that this wall forms an impenetrable barrier for any of the lower energies that you encounter on earth. Nothing on earth can penetrate that wall. Once you go beyond the wall, you will be protected, completely protected and sealed, from any negative energy that might be burdening you, that might have burdened you in this lifetime or in past lifetimes.

You now visualize that there is a gate. The gate, seemingly without anyone opening it, swings open before you. You now need to make a decision whether you will enter that gate or whether you will stay where you are and not participate in the visualization.

I now assume that if you are participating, you have made the choice to enter the gate. You hear the door close behind you and you now know that you are protected and sealed from any negative energies on earth, in the emotional realm, the mental or identity realm.

The base chakra

You now look around and you see a beautiful garden. It has wide lawns, sparkling green, with trees in the background, flowerbeds laid out in curving forms filled with flowers. There are birds that are singing in the background but otherwise it is quiet. When you walk across the grass, it is so soft that you almost sink into it. I ask you, when you are giving this exercise on your own, to explore this garden for as long as you like, [pause the recording as necessary] and taking your time to explore the garden.

As you go around on your journey of discovery, there will come a point where you come to a tall hedge and there is an opening in the hedge. This doorway is covered by a gate. It is an open gate, like you see in some gardens, made out of a metal lattice work that allows air to flow through.

You realize that you can pass through that gate. There is an opening that is big enough to let you through, but you cannot pass through as long as you have any backpack on your back.

You now become aware that you do have a pack strapped to your back. This is some concern you have about the world, or some trauma you have experienced in this lifetime.

I ask you now to tune in to your base chakra and to see if there is any concern you have about the world, about yourself, about your own life, or any trauma you have experienced in your own life that comes to your mind when you tune in to your base chakra.

I am not asking you to go deeply into this but just get an impression. You realize that this concern or this trauma, is what you are carrying on your back. In order to pass through the gate, you need to take off that backpack and leave it outside the gate.

You do not need to analyze or go into this or be overwhelmed by it. You simply see it and then you decide: “I am willing to set this aside for now so I can enter this gate and see what is on the other side.”

You now visualize that you take off the backpack, leave it outside the door and then you pass through the opening in the gate.

The seat of the soul chakra

You now find yourself in another garden, even more intimate than the first. This garden is filled with flowers that seem to actually radiate light. It is a wonderful garden, it is a garden made for the play of children. You can hear the laughter of children somewhere in the background. You might even feel like taking some time for exploring the garden and exploring what it feels like to be in this playful vibration of the child.

When you are ready, you will find that, as you are walking around the garden, you come to another gate in another hedge. As with the first one, there is an opening that you can pass through. Now, you see that you have another backpack on your back.

I now ask you to tune in to the seat of the soul chakra and again, look for any concern or trauma that relates to the seat of the soul, the creativity of the soul, the playfulness of the child. Then, you simply look at this and then you decide: “Yes, I want to pass through the gate so I will leave this backpack outside.”

You visualize taking off the pack and then you again pass through the opening that is smaller than the first opening, for somehow you have become a little bit smaller compared to when you started.

A new awareness of mental freedom

Ascended Master Saint Germain through Kim Michaels, May 16, 2016. This dictation was given at a conference in Holland.

I AM the Ascended Master Saint Germain. I am the Chohan of the Seventh Ray. I am the leader of the Aquarian Age, the Hierarch of the Aquarian Age.

My beloved, you have heard a magnificent discourse from each of my six fellow Chohans who are all here with me, as we all stand before you in humility and awe over the fact that so many people on earth, yourselves included but far beyond yourselves, are able and willing to tune in to some of the new ideas that we are bringing forth.

We have called it the “Golden Age of Saint Germain,” which is, of course, because I hold the position as the main director for the Aquarian Age. As you can clearly see from this conference, it is truly the Golden Age of all of the Chohans, all of the Archangels, all of the Elohim, all of the masters who are working with earth, including, of course, that wonderful Being that we all love, Mother Mary.

A universalist mindset

It is a cooperative effort up here and it will, of course, be a cooperative effort on earth. That is why we are looking to you – who are our direct students, who are open to our messages – to get yourselves out of any remnants of the sectarian mindset and adopt this universalist mindset that we have talked about. You are focused on raising up the All and not focused on getting any credit or recognition or converting people to a particular sectarian idea or philosophy.

We, my beloved, are not looking to bring in the Golden Age through one particular source but through many, many sources, for that is the only way that we can avoid the fallen beings taking control over it. Just look at how one particular church in Europe, the Catholic Church, became instantly the tool for the fallen beings and was so for so many years. This, of course, can be repeated over and over again until the people have had enough of it, but we have already long ago had enough of it. That is why we are bringing forth the Golden Age of Aquarius through many different sources, which fortunately is possible today.

It is possible for the major reason that Jesus himself set a foundation that many people have been able to use at inner levels to manifest a degree of personal Christhood so that they can be the open door for the influence from Spirit. Even if a person is the open door for one idea during a lifetime, that is a major contribution to bringing forth the Golden Age.

Freedom from and freedom to

I want to talk about what you have just done in this rosary where you have invoked an alchemical shift of perception. If you look at the history of humankind, you can interpret it, of course, in various ways but you can look at it as a continuing process of seeking greater and greater freedom for the people. Freedom has two aspects: freedom from and freedom to.

When you are oppressed, when you are limited by some external force, you naturally seek freedom from that force. There can come a higher recognition of freedom as a freedom to flow with the Spirit. If you look at the history of humankind so far, you can see that people have mainly been concerned about attaining freedom from. You might, with your knowledge, say that the population has been seeking freedom from the power elite.

This is a perfectly valid way to interpret history. It is clear that in the Aquarian Age the influence of the power elite will diminish. Many of the fallen beings in embodiment will be judged and then will be taken out of embodiment. Many of the fallen beings in the emotional, mental and identity realms will also receive their judgment and will be removed from this earth, possibly going to the second death (some of them). There will be an aspect of bringing the Aquarian Age that is a freedom from these external forces, but this in itself will not bring the Golden Age into manifestation.

In fact, you cannot attain freedom from the power elite through physical, material means. This is what the other Chohans have attempted to explain to you. There is no way to bring the Golden Age through physical means. You cannot, even if people were awakened to the existence of the power elite tomorrow, create some kind of institution that is meant to identify the power elite and dethrone them from power. It could not be done. It could not work at the present level of the collective consciousness.

What is it that is needed? What is needed is an alchemical shift in consciousness. What do I mean with alchemical? Well, even though alchemy has been somewhat the laughingstock of the scientific community and, of course, was persecuted by the religious community of the Catholics, there is a validity here. The validity is that there is a recognition that the substances that are in existence on earth right now can be transformed into a higher state. This is the essence of alchemy.

It is possible to take what is manifest on earth right now and transform it into a higher state. There is also implicit in the alchemical mindset that you need to find some ingredient that is not physical in order to accomplish this. This is implicit in true alchemy. There is, of course, a false alchemy, which thinks that there is some magical formula, some philosopher’s stone, some chemical element that can bring about this transformation in a mechanical way. The true reality of alchemy is that the philosopher’s stone that can transform one element into another is consciousness, the Christ consciousness or a “higher state of consciousness,” if we are completely neutral.

Mental freedom is the norm

If there is one thing, from the perspective of the Seventh Ray, that I would like to see happen in society, it would be that the awakening that has already begun to happen would be accelerated so that people would realize that there is no condition in human psychology, in the human psyche, that cannot be transformed into a higher condition. When I, as the Chohan of the Seventh Ray of Freedom, look at humankind, I naturally want people to be free.

Of course, I want people to be free from the power elite and from any external oppression and limitation, but I also see that the only way, the absolutely only way, to accomplish this is to first free them from the limitations in their own psyches that are burdening them and weighing them down. Why is the power elite still in power? Because people have so many psychological burdens that they cannot raise themselves to the awareness of the power elite and the awareness that will simply flush out the power elite without much physical action having to be taken.

The most important single step, from my perspective, that could possibly happen on earth was a groundswell of an awareness that we have reached a point where the intensity and the frequency of mental illnesses and other psychological maladies has reached a level where we need to do something different, something we have not done before.

We cannot use the Christian paradigm to cure mental illness but neither can we use the materialistic paradigm to cure mental illness. Therefore, we need to find a new paradigm. We need to find not just one new paradigm but many different paradigms and modalities, many different approaches to mental illness, mental freedom. The concept I want to put into the collective consciousness of this planet is the concept of “mental freedom.”

You have so much talk about mental illness and people think that mental illness is something you can ignore until it becomes a crisis that you can label as a depression or schizophrenia or this or that. Then you need to do something about it, but I want to put out the concept that ideally all human beings should enjoy and manifest mental freedom. Mental freedom is the normal state for a human being.

Right now, you have in every country a certain sense of normality based on how most people function, or rather how most people dysfunction. In all countries you still have a situation where virtually all people have unresolved psychology to the extent that they are not functioning at their optimum capacity. They do not have mental freedom, and therefore mental freedom should be the norm for a human being. It should be seen that until you have that mental freedom, you are not manifesting your highest potential. It is desirable – it is, in fact, normal – that all human beings, first of all, are striving for mental freedom and are engaging in a lifelong process to attain this mental freedom. Therefore, society should help in this process right from the kindergarten stage and even before. When the child is in the womb, there are things the parents can do to help facilitate the process of children engaging in this lifelong process of achieving and expanding mental freedom.

The power of collective decisions

Ascended Master Nada through Kim Michaels, May 15, 2016. This dictation was given at a conference in Holland.

I AM the Ascended Master Nada, the Chohan of the Sixth Ray. The Sixth Ray has been seen as peace and service. What does it take to give service to life? It takes that you are at peace with yourself. You can look upon yourself as an individual, and you can see that if you are not at peace with other people around you, over the circumstances you find yourself in or with the planet on which you live, then it is because you are not at peace with yourself.

Internal cause of terrorism

You can transfer this to a nation and say that if a nation is not at peace with other nations, then it is because it does not have peace within itself. This is an important idea to send into the collective consciousness so that the nations of Europe (and around the world) can take an honest look at themselves and see whether they are at peace with their neighbors, at peace with the world. If they find that they are not at peace with the world, then they need to stop doing what they have been doing in these later years where there have been certain terrorist attacks on the European continent.

They need to not do what the United States has been doing since the terrorist attacks there in 2001. You need to recognize that when you are being attacked by an outside force, the worst thing you can do is to strengthen the fortifications around your mind. It is precisely the fortifications you have built around your mind that attracted the attack. If you had not built the fortifications, you would have sent a different signal to the cosmic mirror. When you build fortifications, what is the signal you are sending? You want to live in a world where there is a need for the fortifications. How will you know there is a need unless there once in a while is an attack?

Of course, there are many nations in the world that are not at the level where they are able to see this. The Arab nations, for example, where many of the attacks have come from, would not right now be able to see that it is their own attitude that creates the external enemy. I am giving this message here in Europe because there are a number of European nations that are at the level where, at inner levels, they are ready to acknowledge this. Therefore, this is just a matter of making it break through at the outer, conscious level where they acknowledge fully that it is your own internal strife that creates the external enemy, or that at least attracts the external enemy and makes you a target of that enemy.

Self-defense

I know well that there are many people who will object to this statement, and they will point to all kinds of examples from history. They will say: “What should the people have done about Hitler? Should they have not defended themselves? Should they have let Hitler overtake the whole world? Should they have let the Soviet Union overtake the whole world? Should they have let Attila overtake the whole world?” My beloved, it is possible (and we have spoken about this before) to take certain physical measures that are aimed at defending yourself in a practical situation but you are still doing it with a mindset that is at peace.

This may seem like a contradiction, but it is not a contradiction when you step up to a higher understanding. It is possible to recognize that you may have nations in the world that have an aggressive intent and that the only way to deter them from attacking you is that they fear the consequences because you have a capable defense. Saint Germain has said before that he is not asking all nations at this point to abandon their military. He has asked that some nations do so because they are ready to set forth that example. It is still possible to maintain a certain defense that can deter an attack, though you are not in a state of mind that encourages the attack.

There were, in fact, nations in Europe that had attained some degree of this consciousness before the terrorist attack in 2001. After that attack, many nations in Europe went along with the United States’ reaction to that attack. This has created a new consciousness in Europe where the nations of Europe have also felt threatened. It is this awareness that has precipitated the terrorist attacks on this continent and will continue to precipitate such attacks until it is again abandoned.

Terrorism is insignificant

My beloved, it is easy to be at peace when there seems to be no threat and all seems to be peace. The challenge is to also be at peace within even when there seems to be some concern, some outer force that may be looking to attack you. The real challenge is, of course, to respond to an attack by staying in peace. This test, the European nations have clearly not passed with flying colors in these last several years. Yet I tell you again that at inner levels there are now a number of nations that are ready to pass this test and say: “We cannot allow these external attacks, these external threats, to force us back into the state of consciousness we abandoned after the end of the Cold War. We cannot allow them to force us to go backwards in our national growth.”

It is important to make calls for the nations of Europe to realize that they first need to manifest peace within in order to avoid the outer enemy, in order to avoid the reaction from the universe that validates their view that they are under threat. I am not saying here that the nations of Europe should not take precautions to prevent further attacks. Again, there is an interplay of the Wisdom of the Mother where you accept current conditions for what they are and take the necessary steps to live with those conditions in the best possible way, without letting them deter you from your progress, from manifesting your greater goals.

These terrorist attacks are just a very insignificant incident in the long history of Europe. When you see that there is a vision of what Europe can become, you will not allow such attacks to deter you from moving forward towards that vision.

Making the impossible possible

Ascended Master Hilarion through Kim Michaels, May 15, 2016. This dictation was given at a conference in Holland.

I AM the Ascended Master Hilarion, Chohan of the Fifth Ray, which has often been called the Ray of Vision. Obviously, one of the most important things that could happen in terms of bringing a Golden Age in Europe, and elsewhere, is a raising of the people’s vision.

It is a simple fact that you cannot manifest in the physical, that which you cannot visualize in the mind. If you have no higher vision, you cannot manifest anything higher and this is where the material universe can become a closed loop that traps people for a very long time.

The Alpha and Omega of vision

You grow up as a child seeing what is around you, seeing what you perceive through the physical senses. More than that, you are brought up – programmed – to perceive through the collective mindset that looks at life a certain way. This mindset goes all the way from the physical through the emotional, mental and into the identity realm. You will, of course, see that most people on earth think they are human beings. They may think they are somehow created by a deity, but they see that they are separated from that deity. They are brought up to believe (especially in the Catholic tradition) that they are sinners or fundamentally flawed or limited beings. Or they may have been brought up to believe that they are a product of the process of evolution and therefore have no capabilities beyond those of the physical body and whatever technologies can be created.

Of course, if you identify yourself as such, you already have set limitations for what you can and what you dare envision. There is a dual effect of vision. First of all, you have to be able to actually visualize in your mind that it is possible to create something that you do not already see on this planet. This is the Alpha aspect of vision. You have to be able to see something that no one has seen before; you have to be able to see in your mind’s eye what you do not see with your physical eye. The Omega aspect of this is that you have to be able to not only believe but actually accept and know that it is possible to build or manifest this physically.

There are many, many people throughout the ages who have had grandiose visions in their minds. They have been enamored with these visions, but they have not truly believed and accepted that they could be made physical. This is where people need to wake up and realize that there are forces and beings in this world who are doing everything they can to limit your vision, by limiting what people can see but also limiting what they believe and accept can be manifest.

How to communicate a higher vision

In the modern age, we have – due to Saint Germain’s release of certain communication technology – made tremendous progress in terms of being able to communicate a higher vision from one person to another. If you go back just a few decades, or a few hundred years, you will see that there may have been one or two people on earth who could grasp a higher vision, but how could we get that vision communicated from that person to others so that more than one person could begin to believe that there was a higher reality somewhere? This really did not become practical until the printing press was invented.

With more and more modern communication technology it has become easier and easier. We now have a situation where there is indeed a number of people on the planet who have their minds opened and attuned to the ascended realm. They can receive a higher vision of some aspect of society that could be improved. We actually have enough people in embodiment that are able to receive a higher vision. Those people do not all know about ascended masters, they do not understand or acknowledge where their visions are coming from.

We actually have enough people who have enough of a vision to receive the major blueprint for the Golden Age. This is a development that has taken a very long time to build. In fact, if we go back just to Jesus’ mission, we can say that from his mission forward, there has been a very slow growth in the number of people who have been able to manifest a higher degree of Christhood. Of course, the Christian tradition is not the only one that has raised people’s consciousness, for there are also other traditions that have raised people’s consciousness over many lifetimes, to the point where they can receive a higher vision.

How fallen beings limit communication

The fallen beings have, of course, all along tried to limit this. They have in many ways tried to limit communication, to restrict communication, to censure communication. For example, during the Catholic era there was a censorship of books. Books were burned, people were executed or hauled in front of the inquisition for spreading heretical views. You saw the same in the Soviet Union, you see it today even in Russia, you see a similar development in Turkey, you see it in China, North Korea and many other nations.

The fallen ones have not been able to stop the growth in the number of people who could receive a higher vision. What have they done instead? Well, there is one thing you can always count on from the fallen beings: They don’t stand still. Some of them do, some of them do become trapped and become attached to maintaining a certain state of privilege. That is why they become the established power elite that are overthrown by the aspiring power elite. In general, the fallen ones never stand still as a group. There will always be someone who is looking ahead, looking to what the ascended masters are doing and seeing how they can counteract it.

Given that they could see that they could not stop the spread of new ideas, the communication of new ideas, what did they do to counteract this? Well, they took over the minds of a number of people who were willing to let their minds be taken over by the lower forces. Then, they gave their own versions of different visions, very fanciful, very complicated, very complex—some of them seemingly very benign. Then they have used the same technology that is used to spread genuine ideas, to spread their false ideas. The result is that there are now so many ideas out there that most people feel completely overwhelmed. They don’t know what to look at, they don’t know what to believe.

The rise of individuality and individual nations

Ascended Master Serapis Bey through Kim Michaels, May 15, 2016. This dictation was given at a conference in Holland.

I AM the Ascended Master Serapis Bey, and I will give a personal message to each one of you. The message is this: “I love you.”

What else of a personal message could you possibly need because all the rest is detail. You see, if there was a change that I envision happening on earth that would bring the Golden Age, it would be precisely that more and more people on earth would come to the acceptance of the fact that we who are in the ascended realm love you unconditionally. If you could come to understand that all of the very subtle ideas spread around the world that present God as an angry, remote, conditional being are fabrications of the fallen beings, deliberately set up to separate you from God, then that would be a tremendous step forward towards the Golden Age.

Satanic ideas

If you know that God loves you, then everything else, everything that is happening on earth, becomes insignificant in comparison. Is it not so that human beings have a great need – desire – for love? Is it not so that most people believe that they have to find this love on earth? Where else would they find it when they have been brought up to believe that either there is no God or there is an angry God up there in the sky who is more eager to judge them and punish them than to love them? If people could be brought to understand a very simple fact, namely that Spirit does not conform to conditions in matter, then that would be a huge leap forward.

You know, of course, that the Fourth Ray has often been presented as the Ray of Purity, and we have often talked about various kinds of impurities on earth. The essence of impurity is actually that you take current conditions in matter (the conditions you observe on earth) and you use these conditions to project what conditions are like in the spiritual realm. You are seeking to force Spirit to conform to some condition in matter. This is the essence of the satanic consciousness.

It is why Jesus said to Peter: “Get thee behind me, Satan!” Peter was wanting Jesus to conform to his idea of what should or should not happen to the Living Christ. This is the essence of what the fallen beings want to do with everyone. They want all people to conform to their ideas, but they especially want those who are the more spiritual people (those who are beginning to attain some measure of Christhood) to conform to their ideas.

They are absolutely desperate to make you accept that there is some condition on earth to which you need to conform, some limitation you cannot go beyond, some chain that you cannot break, some mistake you have made that you cannot get away from. This is, of course, promoted in many ways. One of the primary ways has been the Christian religion, the Catholic Church, but certainly also materialism, which says that you are not even a spiritual being.

All of these impurities, that are around in the world, have the effect of changing, distorting, making dirty, your vision of the spiritual realm, your vision of Spirit—and thereby your vision of yourself as a spiritual being. If people could come to understand that nothing on earth is permanent – nothing on earth has power over them as spiritual beings – then they could avoid being so attached to conditions on earth. Of course, as we have said, it is this attachment that leads to the fanaticism that causes so much violence and conflict.

How to overcome impurity

Any attachment to any condition on earth is an impurity. The trick is to realize that you do not free yourself from an impurity by destroying the impurity, by removing the impurity or by doing something to the impurity. This can be subtle to understand.

We tell you that, as ascended master students, you need to take responsibility for yourselves and your own path. Of course, part of taking responsibility is to realize that you may have made a mistake. You may have done something that you now see was not the highest possible. Therefore, you realize that you did this because you have a certain mechanism in your consciousness, a certain attachment, a certain wound from the past that caused you to act this way. You need to do something about this.

There are even spiritual teachings that talk about the fact that if you make a certain action, you make karma and then you have to overcome the karma. While it is not false to say that you have to transform the energy you created through that action, you are not actually fully overcoming the karma, as we have said before, unless you overcome the consciousness that led you to act this way.

How do you overcome an impurity? Not by focusing on the impurity, but by focusing on what it is in your consciousness that causes the impurity to stick to you. You can take the sentence: “The prince of this world comes and has nothing in me.” You could imagine yourself walking through one of these gauntlets from olden times where there are rows of people on both sides who are trying to hit you with any kind of instrument. Instead of trying to hit you, they are throwing various things at you and the question is: “Do they stick to you or do they just fall off like water on a goose?”

It is the wounds, the illusions, the impurities in your consciousness that cause the impurities on earth to stick to you. They pull you into a reactionary pattern where you become trapped, and perhaps you become trapped for the rest of that lifetime (or for many lifetimes) into reacting. This is what you see going on all over the world where groups of people have been in a reactionary pattern with each other for centuries, for thousands of years. You can see this in Europe as well.

It would be a tremendous help, a tremendous progress towards the Golden Age, if people could realize that they will never be free in their own minds as long as they are trapped in these reactionary spirals. Also, they would need to realize that the only way to be free of these spirals is to stop trying to change those other people or even outer conditions, but to focus on changing themselves.

A new era of community

Another aspect that I want to present from the perspective of the Fourth Ray is that we have before said that the Aquarian Age is an age of community. This is a very subtle concept to fully understand. Normally, when you talk about community, you are talking about a group of people working together for some common purpose. They are working in a group. This raises the question of the interplay between the individual and the group.

What you have seen (not only in the Piscean Age but also in previous ages) is that the kind of groups that have formed on earth have been what we might call karmic groups where people had a similar state of consciousness that magnetized them together. That consciousness was dualistic so that you had one group of people that were sticking together, but the main thing that made them stick together was that they were in opposition to another group. In order to avoid being overrun by the other group, they had to stick together to defend themselves. This is how you have seen many groupings form.

To some degree, you see in the European community a formation of this in a certain reaction against something else, against those who are on the outside. This could be the Eastern Bloc (as was the case when the European Union was formed) or it can be a sense that we are a group of nations who are superior, or who are able to work together, but those other nations are not at our level and we do not want to work with them. Or if we work with them, we cannot be equal partners. In so many individual and national groupings, there is this sense that some have to be superior to others. It is, of course, not this kind of groupings that we envision as the basis for the community of the Aquarian Age and the Golden Age of Aquarius.

We foresee a whole new approach to groups. The strange or the subtle thing is that, in order to get to the point where you can form Aquarian groups, humanity (especially in the more developed world) first had to go through a phase where they were focusing on individuality. You will see that you have grown up in a culture in Europe that very much focuses on the individual person. You all have been told you have individual human rights, and you all have been brought up to educate yourself, to look out for your own interests, get the best possible education, job, income and so on.

The reality is that this is just a temporary phase. It was not a phase that was absolutely necessary. You will see that Jesus, when he inaugurated the Age of Pisces, had his disciples and other followers form a community. In the Book of Acts you can see the formation of a community where the disciples lived together and shared many things. This was a pattern that could have continued throughout the Piscean Age.

What happened instead was that the Catholic Church was formed and thereby Christianity was dominated by the fallen beings. The fallen beings can only conceive of a community of unequals; they cannot conceive of a community of equals. They want to set themselves up as the unquestioned leaders who have a number of obedient followers. This, of course, is not the community that Jesus started. He started a community of the spirit, of the Holy Spirit, where it was recognized that there was no single leader because it was a matter of who was the open door for the Spirit, and that could change from moment to moment. If this pattern had continued, you could have built a much greater sense of community in the Age of Pisces. Because of the takeover of the fallen beings, you created this new perverted form of community where the many follow the leader, and they follow the leader without questioning what the leader says and does. You saw this in the kings in the Middle Ages. You saw how this was broken only by the advent of democracy, which is based on individual human rights.

Raising People above Fanaticism

Ascended Master Paul the Venetian through Kim Michaels, May 14, 2016. This dictation was given at a conference in Holland.

I AM the Ascended Master Paul the Venetian. I am the Chohan of the Third Ray of Love. From our perspective of love, what would be the most important changes that could be made for bringing the Golden Age? Well, the first one I want to address is the absolute need for Europe to overcome fanaticism. When I say the word “fanaticism” in Europe, naturally the first thing that comes to your mind is Nazism. It has been universally recognized that Nazism was a clear and undeniable manifestation of fanaticism. This, of course, I am not going to dispute. I am going to break down the elements that characterized Nazism.

The characteristics of fanaticism

First of all, you have the sense that you are superior to other people, you are the superior group of people. Because of your characteristics, you know better what should happen on this planet. You actually think, when you are in a fanatical mindset, that you are wiser than all others, that you know better, that you know reality. You think your vision, your ideology, your religion – or whatever you have that you are holding on to – is the superior way, the only true way to look at things.

Are you really wise when you are in this mindset? If you think that you are superior compared to other people who are different from yourselves, then are you not proving that you are in a state of consciousness where you are focused on differences that set people apart? You are demonstrating that you do not see the true reality, namely the underlying oneness of all life. If you do not see reality, how can you be wise? How can you be superior in wisdom? If your ideology is clearly defining some people as superior to others, how can that be the ultimate truth?

Another characteristic of fanaticism is, of course, that you believe that your ideology, your worldview, defines an ideal that should happen and a threat to that ideal. Furthermore, you identify that certain people, yourselves, are working for the manifestation of the ideal condition, and other people, especially a specific group of other people, are working against this. Again, can this be superior wisdom when the underlying reality is that all life, all human beings, came from the same source and are all connected in consciousness?

Another characteristic of fanaticism is that you feel that you have not only a right, but even an obligation, to force those other people to come into compliance with your world-view. You feel that even though this is using force, perhaps even using lethal force, it is justified by the necessity to establish your worldview as the dominant one, or even the only one, on earth. Again, can this be superior wisdom when you realize that all human beings are connected in consciousness? When you use force against someone else, you are affecting yourself. You cannot get away with using violence and force without affecting yourself. Furthermore, you do not see that the purpose of the planet is the outplaying of free will. When you are forcing the free will of others, you have first forced your own free will because you have surrendered your own free will to the system behind your fanatical worldview.

Fanaticism in European history

You now see several elements of fanaticism. The sense of superiority, the sense of an epic right and an epic wrong, the sense that you have a right to use force, that it is necessary to use force, and that you can get away with doing this, perhaps even be rewarded by some force. If you take these elements and look at the history of the European continent, you will see that, although Nazism may be an extreme outpicturing of the fanatical mindset, it is by no means the only one.

Need I point any further than the Catholic Church? It, for the greater part of its existence, has acted out the fanatical mindset by claiming itself to be the only true religion, the only true representative of Christ. It has claimed that it was of epic importance that all people be brought into the Christian faith, and that it was justified to use violence, even killing other people, in order to further the cause of Christ. Can we say today that the Catholic Church has lifted itself out of fanaticism? Well, I certainly cannot say that.

Then, look at many other manifestations in European history. Go back to the time before the first World War and see how the three major powers in Europe at the time – England, Germany, and France – had their own version of fanaticism. They thought their nation was superior to all others and they were feeling fully justified in going to war against their neighbors and seeking to use force to establish their own dominance. Was not the British Empire an expression of the fanatical mindset? Was not the entire colonial era (where so many nations of Europe expanded beyond the boundaries of Europe and forcefully suppressed other nations) another expression of the fanatical mindset?

Then, look at other things in Europe. Look how, for example, there was a reaction against the Catholic Church, and as an outcome of this was created materialism. Well, is materialism not also an expression of the fanatical mindset? Some will say: “When did materialism use violence to kill other people?” I would say: “Well, is not Marxism an expression of materialism?” It is certainly a denial of anything spiritual, of anything beyond the material world, saying that everything is determined by the conditions in the material world and by some historical necessity.

Then, look to less violent aspects of materialism, as you find it in many educational institutions. Is there not a clear sense of superiority, a clear sense that we have the only truth, that we know reality, that we know how the universe works, even though we recognize that there is an event horizon that we cannot see beyond? We still feel that we can project that we know what is happening beyond that event horizon and that there is nothing beyond the material world. Is there not a clear sense of superiority towards religious people and those who do not share the materialistic beliefs? Is there not a clear sense of superiority in academic circles where people feel that they are better than all others and that they should be able to impose their view of the world upon all others?

Is it not possible to go even further and see that many nations have a national fanaticism about the superiority of their nation, their way of doing things and how they are better than others? We can even go to the level of seeing how people are fanatical about certain football teams, about certain other sports and about so many other things.

The use of psychic violence

What is the real essence of fanaticism? Well, we have seen in Europe how fanaticism has been allowed to outplay itself. We have seen an extremely violent expression of fanaticism. The result of this is that most European nations have moved beyond the willingness to kill those who have different beliefs than yourself or those who are of another nationality. We have moved to a point where the threat of a war between the European nations has diminished to a level where it is highly unlikely. We have also moved to a point where it is highly unlikely that the European nations would engage in a large-scale war of aggression outside the borders of Europe. Yet, we have not reached a point where the European nations are refusing to use any kind of force outside of their own borders, as you see in the intervention in Syria, Libya and other countries.

We can say that, by and large, Europe has transcended the desire or the sense that the use of violence is justified, at least the use of deadly violence. We do, of course, see that there are other forms of violence, including psychological violence of wanting to force other people to come into a certain view of the world. We see this in religious circles, we see it in materialistic circles, we see it in political circles. It is necessary to make calls that Europe will transcend the use of psychic violence justified by the fanatical mindset.

The next level is where Europe would transcend the sense that there is only one truth, only one way to look at reality, and that this truth (this ideology, religion or political theory) is superior to all others. Some progress has been made in this field. There are many nations that are much more practical and not so caught up in a particular ideology or worldview. Calls are needed, but progress has been made.

Education in the Golden Age

Ascended Master Lanto through Kim Michaels, May 14, 2016. This dictation was given at a conference in Holland.

I am the Ascended Master Lanto, the Chohan of the Second Ray. We have each chosen to focus on a particular issue, or a couple of issues, that from our particular ray seems the most important contribution that can be made at this time for bringing Europe into the Golden Age. I will, from the perspective of the Second Ray, which is the Ray of Wisdom, focus on which particular application of wisdom could assist people the most in awakening to the golden age consciousness.

A new awareness about money

In order to explain this, I want to start out by talking about what most people in the more developed part of the world have learned about money. You know, of course, that there are many people who live at such severe levels of poverty that they do not have much money to spend and therefore do not have some of the concerns that you have when you have surplus money, money that is not needed for the bare physical survival of yourself and your family. You have, in the last generation especially, seen that in many countries the majority of the population has been in this state of affluence. They had more money than was absolutely needed for their physical, material survival and sustenance. This has raised an entirely different way of looking at money where you suddenly have the choices of what to do with your money.

What have many people learned from this experience? They have learned that there are people out there who are out to get your money and who will seek to manipulate the money away from you through various schemes. Some may be relatively innocent, in a sense that they would make you buy something or buy some experience that you don’t really need, that isn’t very important for you but that gives you maybe some cheap, brief sense of entertainment. Many people have also learned that there are more severe scams and schemes that are aimed at taking money away from you, even to the point of taking more than your surplus but taking everything that you have. This might be anything from various con artist tricks to the greater con artist tricks of the manipulation of the economy, the manipulation of markets, and the manipulation of various pension funds and schemes that were supposed to be there for your retirement but suddenly may not be there due to some manipulation.

What have people learned from all of this? They have learned that they need to be aware of what they do with their money. Before they give their money to someone, they need to consider what those people are going to do with it. Is it still going to be there for you? Is it really going to multiply ten thousand times as they promised you? Or is it just too good to be true? Most people have developed this growing awareness that before you give out money, you need to make a careful, conscious evaluation of what the consequences will be because once the money is out of your hand or bank account, you have no guarantee that you can get it back.

This is, of course, a step up in people’s awareness. From the Second Ray of Wisdom we are always looking at how we can increase people’s awareness, their level of wisdom. Mother Mary has talked about the Wisdom of the Mother, of what can happen in the physical octave, how things work in the physical octave. What I am talking about, concerning people’s awareness of money, is very much an aspect of the Wisdom of the Mother, for you realize that you have to be careful in the material world what you do with your money.

Awareness of how your energy is stolen

If I, as the Chohan of the Second Ray, was to point to one particular thing that could give the most important contribution to the bringing in of the Golden Age in terms of wisdom, it would be that people gained an awareness that is similar to what they have learned about giving away money, but it was applied to the field of giving away their energy. Money is a physical substance, but as you all know, the real currency of the world is energy—your emotional, mental, and identity energy.

Most of the people in the world, of course, are not aware of this. That is why the greatest revolution of thought that we can envision from the Second Ray (and I know that the other chohans can envision their own greatest revolution of thought) would be that people became aware that there are forces in this world that seek to steal their energy. These forces have invented all kinds of schemes in order to take energy away from them. This, of course, begins with a recognition that when you are living in extreme poverty, just physical survival can be such a struggle that it takes up all of your energy. You have no surplus energy to give. It is all tied into just surviving. I am not thereby saying that your energy isn’t being stolen by demons because, of course, the people who are in extreme poverty are very much trapped there by demons. What I am pointing out to you is that when you become more physically affluent and have what Master MORE talked about: spare time, you also increase your energy level. You are not spending so much energy on material, physical survival, and therefore you have energy left over. This, of course, now means that you become the target of all of these schemes where forces and people seek to steal your emotional, mental, and identity energy away from you.

Forces that must steal energy

You also need the recognition that there are beings, forces, that are existing in this world that need to steal your energy in order to survive. There are people in physical embodiment who need to steal energy from others in order to stay in physical embodiment. There are also those who need to steal energy in order to exercise the power they have. All of the dictators you have seen in history have stolen energy from their followers in order to exercise whatever power they exercised. People also need to become aware that there are beings in the emotional, mental, and identity realms that likewise need to steal their energy in order to continue to survive or in order to continue to exercise power. Why do these beings need to steal energy? Because they have lowered their consciousness to the point where they can no longer receive energy from the spiritual realm.

I realize full well that to give the average person this awareness will require quite a process. It is not something that can happen overnight because people need to know many things. You need to understand also that you are actually a spiritual being, that there is a level of reality beyond the material and that the entire material realm is created and sustained by a flow of energy from the spiritual realm into the four levels of the material universe. You need to understand that this energy flows into the material world through those beings that are not cut off from the flow because they haven’t lowered their consciousness beyond the critical level.

You know well that on the physical level, the more money you have, the more you become a target for those who want to steal it. People need to recognize that the same holds true with energy. Some people have more energy, more light, than others and they are the ones who become a target. Therefore, they are the ones that need to be more aware. Yet all people need to be aware because all people in the more affluent countries are definitely the target of the lower forces that want to steal their energy.

This is such a widespread phenomenon that I almost hesitate to tell you more about it because I know that the vast majority of the people on this planet would be so overwhelmed if they knew how many schemes are created for the sole purpose of stealing people’s energy. These schemes may be presented at the physical level as having some necessity or even doing a good deed, serving a good cause, but in reality they are aimed at only one thing: stealing people’s energy.

Energy vampires

While it may sound as if it would be a big leap for the average person to come to accept this, I can also tell you that, seen from my perspective, the acceptance of these ideas is not as far off as you might think. Otherwise why would I bother presenting them if only a few could grasp them? Many people know about the idea, the concept, of vampires that will suck your blood. It is not such a big leap to realize that although physical vampires do not exist, there are energy vampires that will steal your energy. There are, of course, also people in the physical who will use physical violence to steal people’s energy.

There is also a growing awareness of energy, meaning what we might call mental or psychic energy. More and more people are becoming aware of this, more and more people are becoming sensitive to negative energies or positive energies. You have many people who have even entered a race to get more and more positive energy, to feel good vibrations, to feel a good mood, a good environment. There is already a growing awareness of energy and the importance of energy, and that is why it is time that those of you who are more aware make the calls into the collective consciousness to pull up on those who can be pulled up and to realize that they need to be as careful with how they spend their energy as with how they spend their money.

The Next Stage for Modern Democracies

Ascended Master MORE through Kim Michaels, May 14, 2016. This dictation was given at a conference in Holland.

I am the Ascended Master MORE, and why am I more? Because long ago I had a vision and I saw the beauty of the Will of God. I decided to surrender myself, my will, my being, into the flow of the Will of God.

When you surrender yourself unconditionally into a particular God quality, you become one with that quality, we might say, but it would be more accurate to say that you become the God quality. I became the Will of God, and as I ascended on that ray of the Will of God, I found myself as an ascended being, one with the Will of God, which truly is not static but is an ever-flowing stream of consciousness. It was natural for me to then accept the position as the Chohan of the First Ray whereby I came to represent the Will of God to planet earth.

The challenge of adaptability

The Will of God is, of course, a many-faceted Being, a many-faceted state of consciousness. It cannot be limited to words. It can be represented by words but as you know, a representation is not the real thing. So it is, with the kind of democracy that you know in Europe, and in other parts of the world, that you often call representative democracy. You elect representatives who are supposed to carry out the will of the people. Of course, they are not the people, are they? Therein lies the problem, as we might say.

However, before I go into that, I wish to pick up on what this beloved Being, Mother Mary, said last night. You see, my beloved, before there can be any change, before anything can become more, there must be an act of will. Now you do, I hope, understand that I have changed my name to Master MORE in order to signal that the Will of God always wants more. You might from a human perspective think that if you always want more, you are never satisfied with what is.

This is not the case and this is the perspective I wish to give you. When you look at the world, you see so often that people have an incredible ability to adapt. This is both good and not so good. It is good in the sense that it allows them to survive very difficult conditions that may only be temporary. They can still survive, they can stay in embodiment, they can keep some kind of composure. When the outer conditions change, they can go on with life, they can have some continuity.

The downside of this ability is that they can also become so used to current conditions that they no longer want more because they have adapted so well that they think either that this is the only way that things can be, that this is the way it is supposed to be or that they really do not want to run the risk of upsetting the apple cart because you never know where the apples might fall. Some of them might fall far from the tree. There are fears in people’s beings against upsetting status quo, and they cling to status quo because for many people a known misery is better than an uncertainty.

How then can there be positive change when people cling to status quo? Now, you understand that, I am one with the Will of God, I am the Will of God for earth and the Will of God is that everything transcends itself. When I talk about change, I am not talking about a change that goes into a negative and creates less, I am talking about the change that creates more. All change that I desire to see is the change towards more and this, my beloved, cannot be a loss. It cannot be a loss to anyone except, perhaps, those who form a power elite and have taken on special privileges and powers by limiting the people and stealing the people’s light. They are the ones who can lose when status quo is changed, but the majority of the people on earth do not lose when there is a change that brings forth more.

How change happens

There are two ways that change can come about. One is, as we have talked about many times, the second law of thermodynamics and the fact that a closed system will self-destruct. When there is resistance to change, the clinging to status quo, then you do enter a downward spiral. It is only a matter of how difficult, how dysfunctional, conditions become before people wake up and decide that things are now so bad that they cannot live with it and therefore they have a will to change. This is, of course, not the way that we of the ascended masters desire to see change come about. When people close their minds, it is not that we do anything to accelerate a negative cycle. We are forced by the Law of Free Will to step back and say that if people do not want to open their minds to new ideas, we must let the spiral unfold until they get to that point where they again have the will for something different.

This is, we might say, the negative way that change can come about. You first have no will to change status quo because you have a clinging to status quo and then, when things get so bad, finally something breaks and now there is a will to change. The problem with this process is that when people change this way, it is not really that they have a vision of wanting something better than what they have. It is more that things have gotten so bad that they want to get away from the misery they are experiencing.

Why did things get so bad, why did the downward spiral go so far down? It was because people did not have a vision of something more and thus they could not even long for it, they could not manifest it. When they get to a low point and things finally break, they still have no vision of what they want instead of their misery. They just want to get away from the misery.

That is precisely what the fallen beings want because then they can step in and promise the people something better, if they only will give up something, such as freedom, such as control over their own lives. This is what you have seen in several totalitarian states where the people have been promised some mythical, magical state if only they would give up their freedom to that totalitarian government. Of course then, can the totalitarian government deliver? Well, as you have seen within the last century, where several totalitarian governments collapsed, you know that they can never deliver the promised land.

Things could be much better

What I desire to see for earth is an awakening where you find a positive way to long for change. Of course, you who are listening to this have already started this process. I desire you to hold the vision that many more people catch on to the possibility of a positive change. It is not a matter of letting things go so far that they get broken, it is not even a matter of saying that current conditions are bad, it is just a matter of catching the vision that there is something more, there is something higher.

Mother Mary talked about the people who are stuck in a mud hole and they are walking around in mud, all covered in mud and getting nowhere. Many of the nations of Europe have already climbed out of the mud hole of previous ages. You have a condition where many people have not only a tolerable life but have a very affluent life. They have great economic freedom to do many things that their parents and grandparents could not even dream about. It is not a matter of these people coming to see that current conditions are bad.

It is a matter of them coming to see that current conditions could be a springboard, a stepping stone, to something even better—in fact, far better. So much better that their parents could not even dream about it and that they themselves have so far not really dared to dream about it. It is time for them to dream about it, to dare to dream about what a society really could be when we do not have many of these problems we saw a generation or two ago, such as a world-wide war or two or wide-spread poverty, diseases or many other conditions.

Transcend the pettiness of inconsequential issues!

Ascended Master Mother Mary through Kim Michaels, May 13, 2016. This dictation was given at a conference in Holland.

I AM the Ascended Master Mother Mary, and I am eternally grateful for the service you have given today and the service you gave last year in allowing me a platform to bring forth the dictation I gave that has now been turned into this timeless and universal invocation for helping all people on earth overcome one of the major problems for the manifestation of a Golden Age, namely, the ability to love themselves as God created them and even love themselves as they are, as they have created themselves through the outplaying of free will.

The treadmill of analyzing indefinitely

Truly, my beloved, the outplaying of free will may get you into all kinds of trouble, but what is it that will get you out of the trouble again? Only that you continue to outplay free will. It is when you think that it was free will that got you into trouble (and therefore, free will is dangerous) that you become subject to the illusions and lies of the fallen beings who tell you that there is something fundamentally wrong with you. You need to compensate for it by following one of the schemes that they have defined in order to keep you going around in a circle eternally.

There are people who would object to the teachings I gave last year, the teachings that are in this invocation. They will say that it is not true that we should love the outer self, for surely it is something we need to transcend or bind or consume or destroy. But my beloved, I am not saying you should not transcend the outer self. I am saying that there comes a point where the outer self you have left is just enough to keep you in embodiment, and therefore you need to love it.

Do you understand, my beloved, that the fallen beings want to keep you thinking that you are making progress on the spiritual path, and they want to keep you thinking this indefinitely? We have earlier talked about the concept that you can divide the space between zero and one into infinitely smaller increments. It was also spoken about by one of the ancient Greek philosophers who said that, in order to go from here to there, you first have to go halfway. From the halfway point, you need to go to the next halfway point, and you can keep doing this indefinitely. This is what the fallen beings want you to do so that you are on a treadmill that does not bring you to your ascension because you are continually analyzing the outer self.

Do you not see that the outer self is of this world, and you can continue to analyze and divide it into smaller and smaller increments, smaller and smaller segments, and you can continue to do this indefinitely? There is a point on the path where you need to focus on the outer self. That is why we have given teachings on this, on the ego and overcoming the ego. We have given you tools for this, as well. But there also comes that point where you have to ask yourself: “Do I need to continue to analyze and divide into smaller and smaller segments? Or do I need to just take that last step?”

Cover the remaining distance in one quantum leap

Do you not understand that the solution to the riddle presented by the Greek philosopher is very simple? It is true that in order to get from here to there, you need to first walk to the halfway point. Then, you walk to the halfway point of the remaining distance. Then, you walk to the halfway point of the remaining distance. If you started out wanting to go to a place that was a 100 kilometers away, it can take you quite a number of steps to go to the halfway point. Theoretically, you will never make it, unless you realize that it is not necessary to continue to divide the remaining distance, for the simple reason that there comes a point where you are so close to your destination that you can cover the remaining distance in one step. Why, then, is there a need to divide that distance into smaller increments?

This is the way it is on the spiritual path. There are many, many times, many, many stages, where you need to take smaller and smaller steps in order to get close to a certain level. In order to make that final leap, that quantum leap to the next level, you simply need to take that one last step, and that one last step is not some technique, not some understanding. It is the conscious recognition of the issue you are dealing with at your present step and then the conscious decision: “This no longer defines me. This is not who I am.” Then, you have taken that step. You, unfortunately, see many people on the spiritual path who find a valid teaching, who apply a valid approach (of course, there are many, many valid teachings and many valid approaches that can help you grow on the spiritual path), but they get stuck in thinking they have to keep applying that teaching indefinitely. They have to keep looking at themselves, looking at the ego, over-analyzing everything instead of simply stepping back, looking at themselves and saying: “This is no longer who I am. This is not the experience I want. I am accepting that I am beyond this.”

This is what you need to keep doing until you are at that point where you are so close to the ascended state that you can cover the remaining distance in one quantum leap, which, again, requires one conscious recognition and decision. There are people who think about the ascension and think that there is some kind of conveyor belt. If they find the true teaching of the ascended masters and apply it, it is like being on a conveyor belt and they will go all the way until they are suddenly dumped into the ascended state. That is not the way it happens. You can actually be so close to ascending that you could ascend if you made that last decision, but until you make it you will not ascend, my beloved.

Decide to be in the golden age consciousness

This applies equally to the manifestation of a Golden Age. There are, of course, stages that lead to the manifestation of a Golden Age, and there are stages that the planet needs to go through. There are physical stages, there are certain physical developments. You can see in the world today that there are many nations that are at such a low level of development (where so many people live in poverty or have no possibility of getting an education) that you cannot expect them to jump into a golden age state in a very short period of time. They need to go through a gradual evolution, like what you have seen in the more developed countries. You also have to realize that, even in the more developed countries, you can say that there are many, many things that need to be developed further and need to be refined. You cannot allow yourself to think that this needs to go on forever.

There does come a point where a nation has to consciously step up to a higher level, and how is a nation going to come to this point? It can only do so when the top ten percent of the people in that nation come the point in their own consciousness where they can look at themselves and say: “Regardless of the conditions I see in the physical world, regardless of the problems I see, I am now deciding and accepting that I am in the Golden Age and I am in the golden age consciousness.”

My beloved, if you cannot make that decision, how can your nation? We need those among the top ten percent to come to that recognition. They don’t all need to find this teaching in order to do so, but it is a matter of leaving certain things behind, of looking at certain things and saying: “I no longer want to experience this. How am I going to avoid experiencing this? Only by changing my own consciousness and my own perception so that I do not any longer perceive the world, perceive life, through that perception filter.”

Interactions Between Men and Women

I am the Ascended Master Mother Mary, and the topic of interaction between men and women is very close to my heart and my mind, for there is scarcely a topic that is more important on planet earth. You may look at world events and think that wars and the economy and other things are more important topics to talk about. I tell you that war starts in the relationship between men and women.

You will say, of course, that most wars have been started by men, and you are right, in the outer. What we have taught, now for a very long time, is that physical events are not caused by causes at the physical level but at the level of the three higher bodies, the identity, mental and emotional.Before a war becomes physical there has to be a conflict in the three higher bodies. This goes all the way from the emotional and mental to the identity body where both men and women have been programmed over thousands of years to have a distorted view of their own identity. This distorted view of the identity is precisely what comes through as the current conflict between the two sexes.

You have seen this at a very subtle level for a very, very long time. It actually goes so far back on this planet that you would barely believe me because it goes before recorded history. This is an engineered conflict because on a natural planet there is no conflict between men and women. On planet earth this conflict has been engineered by forces who want to create such a basic conflict that hardly anyone can raise themselves above it.

This is a topic that will need much debate in the more developed countries for the decades to come. When I say this, it is because I realize that there is no quick-fix to this problem. A problem that goes so deep must be resolved over time. Of course, you can do much already and much has already been done since the 1960s and even before, going back to when the women’s movement started to demand that women be allowed the right to vote.

Many women have done tremendous work to shift the perception of society. But many men have also done important work. I assure you that the shift that needs to happen cannot be accomplished by women alone, nor of course, by men alone. It must be accomplished by those who have stopped identifying themselves so much with the outer roles that they realize they are universal, spiritual beings, regardless of the sex of the body they are temporarily wearing on this planet. Only then can you avoid being trapped in seeing yourself as a man or a woman and seeing men as something that is in opposition to women, or women as something in opposition to men.

This is the fundamental shift that needs to happen. Once again, those who are the more spiritually aware people are the only ones who can bring this about. I assure you that even though progress has been made in the interaction between men and women in some of the more developed nations in the world, it still has not gone deep enough to even begin to look at the fundamental conflict.

The fundamental conflict between men and women ties in with what we have talked about concerning dark forces that are basically dualistic. Therefore, they will see that any kind of polarity becomes a conflict, a struggle between two opposing forces. There is at the spiritual level no conflict whatsoever between the Divine masculine and the Divine feminine. We see each other as complimentary forces and we do not need to struggle to be one.

I am the Ascended Master Mother Mary, and I am happy to talk about the topic of parenting. The first thing I would like you to do is to envision all of the images you have seen of me holding the Christ child. Here is this beautiful young woman, dressed in perfectly clean clothes with a child who is, quite frankly, usually overweight, but nevertheless dressed immaculately. The images you have received is that I was the perfect parent and Jesus was the perfect child. So, I would like you to take these images and throw them in the garbage can in your mind because they have no bearing on reality. I was in embodiment like you are in embodiment. I may or may not have had greater spiritual attainment than you do now. But do not believe that I was the perfect person or that Jesus was the perfect child.

Our life together, my bringing up Jesus, was messy. It was very messy because he was a very difficult and very demanding child. The only way that I could survive in that environment was to be true to myself, and that, of course, required that I had to make an effort to know myself. This was difficult because I was very young at the time.

So you see, the first lesson I would like to give you in parenthood is that it is not about focusing first of all on the children, but about focusing on yourself. Know yourself first. How else will you know how to relate to your children? This, of course, means in practical terms that you walk the spiritual path that we have described in so many books and teachings on our website, either through this messenger or other messengers. There is so much material today that is available, that was not available when I was walking this path. Take advantage of this whether you are planning to become a parent, whether you are already a parent. Spend some effort to at least tune in to the essence of the path and find out who you really are and what you would really like to do in this lifetime.

You see, my beloved, being a “good parent,” so to speak, first of all requires that you know yourself, you know who you are as a parent. If you are asking your child to tell you what kind of parent you should be, you have set yourself up for disaster right there. You see, it is not correct, as many people say today, that your children should be in charge.

It is perfectly true that previous generations were far too authoritarian and therefore mistreated their children. It is not true that you should jump into the opposite extreme and expect that children can bring up themselves. They cannot. There is no child ever who has been able to bring up him or herself. They need parents to give them some guidance, and, my beloved, this does not have to be perfect guidance. You have, first of all, to be yourself, to be true to who you are, and to define the limits of what you will accept and not accept in your home and in your personal life.

Your children, then, it is their job to adapt to this and use it constructively later in life. They may do what you did. They may follow your example, or they may go beyond your example. But if you are not in the authoritarian extreme, they will not rebel against you. The best thing that can happen is that when you know yourself, and you are open to helping your child get to know himself or herself; then there will come a point in the child’s life where you will have a mutual understanding.

You will come to respect each other as individual human beings. The children may at some point actually come to understand, that the way you brought them up was not the only way, but it was your way. And since you are the parent, you have a right to bring them up your way.

As I said, it is very important for good parenting that you know who you are, and you know what you will tolerate and not tolerate in this lifetime. This, of course, is something we don’t know from the outset. We may not know this fully when we become parents but it is something you can develop over time.

I would like to point out to you that you need to be aware that the modern age is fundamentally different than when I was a parent to Jesus, so long ago. Because everyone today is much more busy and has many more demands on their attention than was happening back then. You can hardly believe the difference in how peaceful life was back then in normal circumstances (where there was no war) compared to what you have today.

The stress you are under, in what you call normal life, is tremendously bigger than what I experienced 2,000 years ago, and you should be aware of this. You should cut yourself some slack, as the popular saying goes. It is an impossible task to have both parents have a job and career. You have one or several children, you are busy in your daily lives, and at the same time, you are supposed to maintain romance in your relationship. It is an impossible task. You need to start by recognizing that it is an impossible task. Then, you can adjust your expectations to yourself accordingly and not expect that you can be perfect at an impossible task.

So many parents today have been set up to think that they should be perfect. You have no particular education in being a parent. You do not even have good examples and role models. On top of that you have the busy modern lifestyle. You cannot expect perfection, my beloved. I can assure you that, from a spiritual viewpoint, perfection is not required of you. I am not here making any excuse for abusing children in various ways, but the vast majority of parents in today’s world are not abusing their children. I am talking about the many people who are being normal, caring and loving parents to the best of their ability but who still feel inadequate at the task and who are often labeled that way by society, by neighbors, by various authority figures. I want to tell you that I would like to take all of your regret and shame concerning parenthood away from you, if you will only give it to me.

It is really no service to life, or the forward progression of society, that you go around beating yourself up, to use another popular expression, over not having been the perfect parent—when you never could have been the perfect parent and when you are not expected to be. You see, my beloved, the child that is growing up in your presence is not a perfect human being when they come in.

One of the most dangerous and most dysfunctional aspects of modern culture is that you deny, from both science and Christianity, the reality of reincarnation. Somehow, you think that the children who come in, come in on a blank slate. Therefore, if they are brought up by you and if they end up not being able to function in society or acting out in anti-social ways, it must be your parenting that was wrong. The reality is that all children come in from previous lifetimes with various amounts of baggage: emotional, psychological wounds, various habit patterns, various ways of thinking, various attitudes to life that they themselves have developed over many lifetimes and have often reinforced.

You may think that Jesus was the perfect child, but he also came, contrary to what Christianity teaches, from many past lifetimes where he had built up a certain attitude that he knew best. Many of the children that are born today have a similar attitude. The reason for this is that, in order to make humankind progress faster, we are allowing children to come into embodiment today who have slightly more spiritual attainment than their parents.

You can look back at your own parents, most of you. If you are completely honest with yourself, you can see that you did have more spiritual attainment than your own parents. In some ways you were wiser and had a better vision than them. If you are equally honest, you can also see that you still had things to learn from your parents because you were not able to bring up yourself as a child.

Transfer this to your own children. Your children have certain things that they might be able to see more clearly than you see it, but this does not mean that they are capable of bringing up themselves. The fact is that in today’s age, we are allowing the embodiment of certain souls that are actually a little bit ahead of what is the norm according to the collective consciousness. These souls will, in most cases, be allowed to embody in families where one or both parents are open to the spiritual side of life because they have a greater chance of understanding these children.

What you also need to understand about such children is that they often, along with their higher attainment, have developed these habit patterns of thinking that they somehow know best, that they do not need to listen to anybody. They may even have a certain pride, a certain arrogance, of feeling that they don’t have to listen to anybody who is below them. They may have a tendency to think that almost anybody who doesn’t agree with them is below them. This was quite frankly the case with Jesus. What do you do with these children.

Well, you recognize, first of all, who they are and you recognize who you are. You recognize that regardless of whether they have slightly more attainment than you have, they still have baggage they are coming in with. They may have a potential to do something in life, to do something for humankind, but in order to fulfill that potential, they need to overcome the dysfunctional, self-destructive, self-limiting patterns that they have brought with them from past lives, including disrespect for other people.

Many of the children who are born or have been born within the last several decades have had this lack of respect for others. This has, quite frankly, been a cosmic experiment where we have allowed these children to embody. They did have a potential to take society forward, but they also had something to overcome before they can fulfill that potential. It is, so to speak, your opportunity as a parent to help them overcome this. But in order to help your children overcome this, you must overcome your own limitation.

You need to understand, my beloved, that when a certain child is assigned to a certain couple or a single parent, it is always because both have something to learn from it. It is true that your child teaches you something but is equally true that your child needs to learn something from you. The thing is, in order for you to help your child with his or her lesson, you need to find out what it is in yourself. The way to do this is to look at what is your reaction to your children’s patterns. If they act a certain way, – for example, if they will not listen, if they think they know better than you, or if they think they are somehow superior to you – how do you react to that? Do you feel inferior? Do you feel guilty? Do you feel you are not good enough? Do you immediately start questioning yourself?

You see, my beloved, if this generation of children are supposed to fulfill their potential for being in embodiment, they need to overcome their pride and their arrogance and they need to develop basic respect for other people. You do not help people by acting as if you are superior to them, even if you are superior in some ways. You are not superior in the sense that you are better than others. Knowing more than others, having certain abilities that others do not have, does not make you an inherently better person.

This is the lesson that actually Jesus, when he had overcome his own problems, attempted to teach to people that all have equal value in Christ. Therefore, your potential is to teach your children that, regardless of who they are or who they think they are, they need to respect you as a human being. Of course, for you to teach your children this, you need to respect yourself. This means you need to look at yourself and say: “What are my wounds from the past?”

Many of you have grown up in a much more authoritarian society. You may have grown up in such a society for many lifetimes. The effect of such a society is to take away people’s self esteem and make them feel essentially worthless when they are not living up to the norms defined by society.

Many of your children seem arrogant because they know from within that they have worth. They have not yet learned to balance this with basic respect. You can teach them this, if you can overcome your own lack of self-worth. This is, again, what we have given so many tools for accomplishing, for learning to love yourself. Learning how to actually accept yourself as a worthy human being, who has a right to be on this planet. You have a right to live your life because you do not have to be perfect in order to be worthy to live on earth.

Look at the planet. Is it a perfect planet, my beloved? Then, why do you think you have to be perfect in order to have the right to be here? You have a right to be alive. You have a right to be yourself. You have a right to learn and grow throughout your lifetime. You have a right to experiment with life. I and no spiritual being, we do not demand perfection from you. We demand nothing. We seek to help you do the best you can, given who you are and your outer circumstances. It is not a matter of you living up to some outer standard of perfection. It is a matter of: “Are you willing to learn? Are you willing to look at yourself? Are you willing to do better than you did before?”

This is how we look at you. We do not look at you with this outer standard where we judge you and put you down. Therefore, we do not want you to judge yourselves. We want you to recognize that you are living in a crossover time between the very authoritarian society in which many of you grew up and an entirely new age.

What is one of the outcomes of an authoritarian society? It is that such a society is, first of all, striving for perfection. In striving for perfection (thinking that if it can come up with a perfect system, then perfection can be achieved) this affects how such a society looks at children. It thinks, first of all, that you should be a perfect parent. If you are not, it must be a matter of discovering what the reason was. Then, they seek to come up with an infallible system where if everyone is forced to follow the system, then everybody will bring up perfect children.

My beloved, this will never happen. It has never happened in the past. It will never happen in the future. In the Aquarian age, the Aquarian age of freedom, of flowing with the spirit, you do not need a system in order to flow with the spirit. You need openness of heart, willingness to tune in to your own higher self, willingness to look at life and observe and listen to others. You need openness. You do not need to have a system where with your outer mind you are constantly trying to force yourself into the system and, at the same time, you are trying to force your children into the system.

In the Aquarian age, the children that are coming in cannot be forced into systems. But this does not mean that you let them do whatever they want. You allow yourself to be yourself and thereby, you help them be themselves.

I am the Ascended Master Mother Mary. I am always delighted when I hear people talk about breaking the boundaries that have been traditionally put upon humankind where you think there is something you cannot get beyond. The forces that seek to limit this planet, that seek to control human beings, are always using anything that comes up in society.

They have, of course, used science, the knowledge about DNA and the knowledge about evolution, to try to say that you cannot escape being, essentially, an animal. As the ascended masters have said many times, you are not essentially an animal; you are essentially a spiritual being in an animal body. The animal body is subject to your mind—when you take command of your mind.

This age is an age where the boundaries that have not already been questioned will be questioned. This is not because we, of the ascended masters, alone are giving messages, but because millions of people around the world (from many different fields) are tuning in to us and to the ideas we are bringing forth. We are not bringing these ideas forth through one particular messenger, through one particular organization or philosophy. We are bringing it forth through all minds that are receptive to receiving some new idea. This, of course, applies to many scientists. It applies to people from all spiritual and religious traditions. Certainly, the traditions of the East and their mindfulness, yoga and other practices that have come to the West, have made a major contribution to the forward progression of the collective consciousness.

It is very important for us that science becomes incorporated and that we break down the traditional barrier between science and religion that is one of the major things that actually limits new ideas, that closes people’s minds to new ideas. Therefore, we are always delighted when there are people who will use the latest discoveries of science and try to combine them with spiritual traditions.

Certainly, realizing that you can reprogram your DNA, that you can reprogram the deepest mind patterns, is an important step forward for humankind. I would like to point out that reprogramming your neurological patterns and your DNA is not actually a new invention. You are simply describing an age-old process in scientific terms. We have traditionally called that process the spiritual path. You are, when you are serious about the spiritual path, reprogramming every aspect of your physical, emotional, mental and identity bodies. It is very exciting to us when science or other fields make progress so that we can bring forth ideas that make it easier for people to grasp and actually believe that this is possible.

I would like to point out, however, that you, who are serious about the spiritual path, need to be aware that there are no quick-fixes here. It is so common in this day and age, where time has become so short, to think that there must be an easy way out. There must be some quick technique so that you can solve the problem very quickly and get on with your busy life. I would like those of you, who are serious about the spiritual path, to realize that it isn’t a matter of finding a quick fix.

There comes a point on the spiritual path where it is OK for you to be looking for a quick way out. But there also comes that point where you need to step up and realize that if you really want results on the spiritual path, it cannot be done by maintaining the same lifestyle as most people have in this material age. It is not so much a matter of changing your outer habits, but of changing the way you think and look at yourself. You cannot artificially or superficially reprogram your DNA or your deepest brain patterns. It is something that requires a very deep and very committed shift in consciousness. This is, of course, why we have brought forth so many books and so many techniques to help you accomplish this.

Ascended Master Mother Mary through Kim Michaels, March 5, 2016

I am the Ascended Master Mother Mary, and I will take this opportunity to talk about what it means that the planet for this coming year will be going through the initiations of the Fourth Ray. We have called it the ray of purity and you have already seen, in many areas of the world, how things that have been hidden have come up to the surface where they can no longer remain hidden. There is also an aspect of the Fourth Ray that has to do with acceleration. Of course, you will see throughout this year that things will be accelerated greatly, both good and not so good.

We have spoken before of the facts that a year can be divided into the four quadrants. The first quadrant corresponds to the identity level, the second to the mental, the third to the emotional and the fourth to the physical. Therefore, you will see that in the last three months of this year there might be an accelerated return of humankind’s karma, in terms of certain more dramatic events that will capture people’s imagination. Not that there cannot be such events before that, for as I said, things will come to the surface.

This will be of special importance for the United States because it is this year in which you are choosing a new President. It is not a good year to be running for President if you have hidden “skeletons in the closet,” as they say, for they are bound to come out.

What I would like to focus on today is the American people’s intention for choosing a President. What is it that you, the spiritual people, desire to see in a President? Do you desire to see someone who is unbalanced, who takes black-and-white viewpoints, who seems to go for the easy, dramatic solution? Are you interested in a person who is basically a political animal and will say anything required to get elected? Or are you interested in someone who has a higher intention and a higher vision?

You may say, as the spiritual people: “We are too few to influence the outcome of the election. It is already a given which two candidates will be nominated by the two parties. Therefore, the choice has already been made.” My beloved, this may be true at the physical level but you are the spiritual people and we are looking for you to realize how we, of the ascended masters, look at any event. There are many times where we can see that the karmic wheels are turning a certain way, which makes it almost impossible to avoid a certain physical outcome. We also see that the way that physical outcome is perceived by people can vary a great deal. In other words, the same physical outcome can cause people to learn a small lesson or no lesson. Or it can cause them to learn a big lesson. We would be grateful if you, who are the spiritual people, will focus less on who becomes nominated and who wins the election but more on what the American people will learn during the process of the election and what the process of the election will expose, not only about particular candidates but about the American political situation and political system.

There have been mentions already by certain candidates of a new vision that is higher than what most of the mainstream candidates can grasp. You, who are the spiritual people, can help hold the vision that the American people will come to realize that they want something higher in a President than someone who either caters to a narrow elite, or who will say anything in order to capture votes. There is a need for an awakening where you realize that America has lost its vision. It has lost its intention for what it means to be an American. This, of course, is something that Saint Germain has spoken about a great deal. Therefore, you can also hold the vision that Saint Germain’s message, given now since the 1930’s, will become known by a greater number of people.

Transcend Your Fears about earth’s Resources

Ascended Master Mother Mary through Kim Michaels, February 15, 2016

I am the Ascended Master Mother Mary, and I am grateful to be able to address the topic of how you can help heal Mother Earth. First, I would like to make you aware that even though there are many philosophies that talk about Mother Earth as a specific being, this is not necessarily the most constructive way to look at it in your present state of consciousness. There are people who can consider Mother Earth as a separate being without feeling separated from her but the problem in western culture is precisely the sense of separation.

What happens to many, many people is that they have the best of intentions and they get awakened to the problems that are burdening nature. Then, they react with fear and in their fear, they project mental images upon Mother Earth and upon nature. What I need you who are the spiritual people to realize is that this will not actually help Mother Earth. What is burdening the earth is, as we have explained many times, the energies and the matrices projected upon nature through the identity, mental and emotional bodies of human beings.

You who are the spiritual people, if you want to do something to heal Mother Earth, you need to first transcend your own fear. I have talked about this before and it is because it is extremely important. There are so many of you who are beginning to awaken spiritually. You have the best of intentions. You often have much knowledge. But you have not made that final step of transcending the fear in your emotional bodies. Therefore, your positive intentions can so easily become colored by this and you are actually projecting out a man-made image upon Mother Nature. It is, perhaps, more positive than some of the man-made images that have caused the current imbalance and pollution but it is still a man-made image, my beloved.

As one example, Mother Nature does not have a fixed amount of what you call natural resources. Mother Nature does not have anything that is fixed. The planet is able to change almost instantly when the consciousness of enough human beings will change. That is why you need to be very careful not to lock your minds on a closed image, saying that there are only so many resources and there needs to be great fear, and something absolutely needs to be done now.

The resources of Mother Nature are almost unlimited—when you are willing to transcend a certain level of consciousness. There are so many resources that are just waiting to be used by human beings but they cannot be accessed by the current level of consciousness. That is why I need you who are the spiritual people to be the forerunners for rising to the next level of consciousness where you can use technology that is not based on forcing Mother Nature or forcing each other. You do not do this if you are projecting your fears upon Mother Earth. It will only add to the fears that have already been projected for so many thousands of years.

There are, of course, many valid steps, there are many valid teachings. I am not here criticizing anyone but I am saying if you want to do one thing that, more than anything, will have a positive effect on Mother Nature, look at your own fears and transcend them. Realize that if you know who you are as a spiritual being, then you also know that you are connected to us, the ascended masters. You will also know that we have the power to change any limitation on earth when we are given the authority by those in embodiment. That is what you do when you transcend the consciousness that has manifested the current conditions.

I am the Ascended Master Mother Mary and I am happy talking about sex. We, in the ascended realm, have no reluctance to talk about a topic that is so important for so many people and that is so important to the dark forces who seek to manipulate you and steal your energy.

Let me give you a hint, my beloved. Anytime there is a topic that is important to people but that they are reluctant to talk about, you can be absolutely sure that the dark forces have manipulated that situation. There is nothing they like better than creating a situation where there is a problem between two groups of people and then setting it up so that they are not able to talk about it. Therefore, they can never solve the problem, or can never even become conscious of what is involved in the problem.

What has been going on in the Western world is that more and more people have become more conscious of the topics of relationships and sexuality. This is, of course, perfectly good. Of course, the dark forces have not just sat back and watched this, whatever you call it, sexual revolution. They have attempted to guide it in the wrong direction and they have done so in many different ways, too many to list here.

I can assure you, my beloved, that one of the ways they have done this, is to create a situation where the greater openness about sexuality, that replaced the very closed attitude that you had before, has been taken advantage of by, not so much men, as the forces who are using men. Many men may think that they have been liberated sexually and that they now have a free license to have sex with as many women as possible. What they do not realize is that this comes at a very heavy cost, energy-wise.

You cannot disassociate your feelings from sexuality without having your energy stolen by dark forces. It cannot be done. If you are having sex and you have no deeper feelings for each other, whether you are a man or a woman, your energies are being stolen by dark forces. This will cost you in the long run. You will see that there are people who have lived the sexual revolution, and also the freedom of experimenting with drugs, who look ten or twenty years older than their physical age. If you could see the energy fields of these people, you would see that many of them have become empty shells that have no vital energy within them.

If you want, as spiritual people, to transcend this pattern where you are being manipulated by dark forces, you need to have respect for yourself and, of course, for you partner. There is absolutely no way that you can avoid having your energy stolen, if you have sex based on a superficial, sexual, physical desire. It cannot be done, my beloved. It cannot be done! I can assure you.

You need to decide, as a spiritual person, that this is not the way you want to live. You do not want to be a cow that is milked for your energy by these dark forces, who have no respect for you, or any other human being. This then, necessitates that you get serious about a spiritual path. I am not here telling you not to have sex. I am telling you to take it to a higher level where you do not disassociate it from love.

There is really no spiritual meaning in having sex unless there is genuine love. What most people do, when they seek sex from a lower motivation, is that they seek to cover the emptiness inside themselves. This is precisely what the spiritual path is all about, namely discovering your true inner essence so that you do not feel empty inside because you know who you are, as a spiritual being. Therefore, you no longer need to have sex in order to cover emptiness. You can have it without having a deficit and you can have it in a much higher way that would be much more enjoyable and fulfilling to both parties.

I am the Ascended Master Mother Mary. I am happy for this opportunity to speak about the relationship between men and women. As I have said before in greater depth, there is nothing more important on earth than to harmonize and make more aware the relationship between men and women. That is precisely why the dark forces have done everything they could think of to complicate and dis-harmonize that relationship.

Now, I want you to be aware, as spiritual people, that there are different levels. Humankind is engaged in a process of becoming more aware of the differences and the similarities between men and women. It is perfectly valid and very necessary to go through the process of making more and more people aware of what men need, what women need, in order to feel fulfilled in a relationship. This is perfectly valid and necessary.

You, as the spiritual people, can do yourself a favor by thinking a little bit beyond what is commonly available in society. It is not just a matter of knowing what men and women need. It is actually important for you, as spiritual people, to realize that you are not a man or a woman, just because you are in a body of a particular sex. As you become more awakened on the spiritual path, you begin to become more and more dis-identified with your physical body and with the sex of that body, which is not only anchored in the physical body but also in the emotional, mental and identity body.

It is therefore important for you realize that if you are in a male body, you will not become fully complete without discovering and harmonizing with the femininity in your own being. Likewise, of course, if you are in a female body, you need to harmonize with the masculine aspect of your being. You cannot become fully whole while denying the opposite of the sex of your body, the opposite polarity of the sex of your body.

You need to realize here that you are a spiritual being. You have embodied many times on earth. You have not always been in a male body or in a female body. Therefore, you have gone back and forth and you have experienced, so to speak, both sides of the coin. If you are in a female body, it is not a matter of behaving like a man, like you see many women do in the business world in order to be successful there. If you are in a male body, it is not a matter of doing many of the tasks that women have traditionally done in the home or with the children. This is not enough. It is a step in the right direction, but for you, as the spiritual people, you need to go beyond this and realize that you cannot be fully whole unless you connect to the higher identity that is neither male nor female, but transcends both.

The Conscious You that is the core of your being is neither male nor female. It can play both the male and the female role and it has done so in many past lives. When you begin to realize this, you can stop identifying yourself with the roles of man and woman that have been defined on this earth and reinforced over many thousands of years. Do you see why, even though it is helpful to know the different roles and the different needs, if you focus too much attention on them, you will actually cement yourself in those roles and that is not leading to the ultimate spiritual growth.

You only get that growth by transcending the roles. This is a very big challenge in the current climate on earth where these roles have been so locked for so long. That is why you who are the spiritual people are the true spiritual pioneers for forging a new way to look at yourselves and to relate to those of the, so-called, opposite sex. The way to do this is to realize there is no opposite sex, for they are two sides of the same Divine Being.

I am the Ascended Master Mother Mary and I am a Being who has no fear in my being whatsoever. I am entirely a Being of love. Love is a key to many things, but it is, first of all, a key to discernment. Discernment is the ability to tell the difference between what is of the light and what is of the darkness. You cannot tell the difference between these two if you have too much fear in your own being. Your fears will set up a filter of what you want to see, what you want to be true and then you will easily find external sources that will seem to validate your fears.

There are so many of these sources, my beloved, in the world. They have been there for a very, very long time. They will be there, not for the eternal future, but at least for the foreseeable future. Therefore, it is so important, it is SO important that you make an effort to remove fear from your own being. I have given many, many tools for this purpose, including invocations for loving yourself, clearing the heart, that you can find at transcendencetoolbox.com. I have given my course in abundance that also is very efficient for helping you overcome fear.

You see, my beloved, there is a reason why the road to hell is paved with good intentions. It is that too many people have been deceived by their fears into supporting causes that are not love-based, that are not non-violent, as we talked about last week about Martin Luther King. You see, my beloved, fear may be a powerful motivator, but it is not the motivator that we of the ascended masters look for. We look for those who are willing to step up and be motivated only by love.

Love is not the same as fear, even though fear can disguise itself as love, for those who cannot tell the difference. You can learn to tell the difference. You can learn partly by thinking about this with your outer mind and realizing that non-violence is forever the goal and the modus operandi of the ascended masters and all forces of light. We never seek to generate fear in your being, for why would we generate in you what we have overcome in ourselves? How would that help you or the planet?

You can, with your outer mind, realize that when someone presents the problem as being outside of yourself, then there will be a certain amount of fear there. The problem on planet earth is not outside the self in the sense that it is some class of fallen beings or a power elite. I know that we talk about this many times, but that is not the real problem on earth. The problem is the fear in the minds of those who are the top ten percent of the most spiritually advanced lifestreams on the planet.

So many of you are very close to making the transition into a higher state of consciousness, but you cannot do so until you let go of your fears, my beloved. It simply is not possible. In order to let go of your fears, you must overcome the fear of the dark forces, the fear of the power elite. This does not mean you ignore their existence. You do not ignore darkness, but you need to come to the point where you can look at it without fear.

My beloved, I am willing to assist anyone. Select the invocations that appeal to you and give one invocation a day and then pray to me so I will help you overcome your fears. This is my promise to you.

Speaking out Makes a Difference

Ascended Master Mother Mary through Kim Michaels, January 18, 2016

I am the Ascended Master Mother Mary and I am gratified to be able to honor Dr. Martin Luther King on this day. You see, my beloved, we of the ascended masters have throughout the ages worked with many people on this planet. Dr. Martin Luther King was one person who was able to tune in to the ascended masters, even though he was not aware of this consciously. Many other people have done so, as well.

One way you can tell whether a person is in attunement with the ascended masters is very simple. They have a message, of course. They have a cause. But they are non-violent. My beloved, non-violence is absolutely essential for bringing this planet to a level where war cannot take place. You are not going to remove war from this planet unless a critical mass of people become aware of the entire dynamic of the dualistic mentality where there are always two opposites fighting each other.

So many times, a war is a war between two warring factions. In some cases they each claimed to be working for a worthy cause. Therefore, they each claimed that the means of killing human beings can justify the ends that they have defined as being so important.

Dr. Martin Luther King knew from the bottom of his heart that no cause can be so important that it justifies the killing of human beings. This is an absolutely magnificent example that he set. Especially for the American nation, which has a government that to this day believes that there are many causes that justifies the killing of other human beings. That is why this nation maintains the biggest military in the world, has the biggest military spending in the world even though there is no obvious enemy to justify the magnitude of the military spending.

This, therefore, can only be explained because there are certain people who are manipulating this nation for various purposes that are not beneficial to this nation or to its people. These are issues I address in my book by those who profit for war, those who manipulate the economy and use war to justify having a skewed economy that does not benefit the people.

You may think that we of the ascended masters are always spiritual and that being spiritual means being nice. I am not a nice master in my book about war, because I very directly address the issues that need to be addressed at this point. If you have not encountered the true energy of the ascended masters and the Divine Mother, then, I encourage you to study my book, because it will give you an entirely new view of who we are and of who you are.

The most important conclusion that you can come to is a conclusion that Martin Luther King also reached, namely that, as an individual, you have the right, you have the authority on this planet to take a stand for a cause that is non-violent. You have a right to speak out, no matter what it takes.

Of course, we do not look for people today to sacrifice their lives by speaking out for if enough people speak out, it will not be necessary. I offer you an alternative to speaking out in public and that is that you speak out in the privacy of your own home by giving the very practical invocations provided in my book. If enough people will give these invocations, and at the same time make the shift in consciousness that I describe in the book, then removing war from planet earth is a realistic goal within the next few decades.

You may not be able to believe this. That is why you are not the next Dr. Martin Luther King. He had to believe that speaking out mattered. I can assure you that, regardless of what happened to him, it did make a difference for the entire planet, and especially for the United States of America, that he had the courage to speak out. And it will make a difference, if you do the same.

Freeing Your Inner Creativity

Ascended Master Serapis Bey through Kim Michaels, January 12, 2016.

I am the Ascended Master Serapis Bey. We have now reached the seventh level where you encounter the combination of the Fourth Ray with the Seventh Ray of Freedom. The Seventh Ray of Freedom is in a sense both easy and the most difficult. It is easy in the sense that it puts no demands on you. It is difficult in the sense that it demands that you stop putting demands on yourself.

When students first come in contact with the ascended masters, they often have the idea that we are limiting their freedom in the sense that we are putting demands on you. Later, they may develop the idea that the fallen beings or the dark forces are limiting their freedom. In reality, there is only one thing limiting your freedom and that is what you do to yourself in your own mind. It is in the mind that you are imprisoned and it is in the mind that you need to manifest your freedom.

However, freedom is both something you manifest and something you cannot manifest, in the sense that I have attempted to help you see that the problem on planet earth is that the fallen beings have induced people to use force. Therefore, you cannot overcome force by more force.

Certainly, the Seventh Ray is a ray that has a specific energy. You can and, of course, you should, invoke the energy of the Seventh Ray. You should not put yourself into a state of mind where you think that you have to use the energy of the Seventh Ray to beat down the opposition to your freedom. You will, of course, need to invoke the energies of the Seventh Ray to transform the perversions of the Seventh Ray. What limits your freedom is to some degree the energies from each of the seven rays that have been perverted through fear. You need to consume these by invoking the energies of each ray.

However, what truly limits your freedom is, of course, the energy, the beliefs and the ideas in your mind. These you cannot beat down by the Seventh Ray of Freedom. You can only come to see them for the unrealities they are and then simply walk away from them.

The dramas that consume people’s lives

When you look at planet earth, you will see that the vast majority of the people are wrapped up in – completely enveloped in, completely consumed by – some kind of drama. You see so many groups of people who have been fighting each other for generations, perhaps even for thousands of years. They are completely convinced that there is some reality to this drama and that they are working for God’s cause and that those other people, whom they have been fighting, are working against Gods cause. You can see this in the Middle East between Jews, Christians and Muslims. You can see it in many other places in the world. It is clear that when you are caught up in such a drama, you are taking yourself very seriously, you are taking your cause very seriously. If you are taking every aspect of life, every little detail of life, so seriously, you cannot be free. You are, so to speak, wrapped up in yourself. Think about this popular saying of how so many people are wrapped up in themselves. There is so much internal conflict and struggle that all of their energy and attention is simply consumed by this. Well, what I want to point out to you is that it is very common that when people find ascended master teachings, they use the teachings to overcome some of the struggles you see in the world.

In many cases, the egos of the students succeed in having the students create another drama, which is where you use the spiritual path – and often the dark forces or even other people that you meet on the spiritual path – to create another drama. You, of course, do not see it as a drama. Then again, all of the people in the world who are consumed by dramas do not see it as a drama either; they see it as reality. You also come to see it as reality that you are battling the dark forces or that you are in some kind of disagreement with other students you meet on the spiritual path, perhaps in a spiritual organization.

The trick of the ego, the trick of the fallen beings, is to make you think that there is a real problem that you need to solve. Therefore, you cannot be free until the problem is solved. Of course, the problem requires that some changes must happen in the world. In most cases, this means that other people need to change so that you can solve the problem and be free.

As I have said before, you will never be free if you think your freedom depends on the free-will choices of other people. You can, however, be free by recognizing that your freedom depends only on your own free-will choices and that you have the power, right now, to free yourself from all of the internal beliefs and mechanisms that make you think you have to react to other people, you have to do something in the world. You can never be free if you take the spiritual path so seriously and if you are completely wrapped up in walking your own path and battling whatever you are battling. Even battling the ego can become a drama, and, of course, you cannot overcome the ego by using the ego. You will not overcome the ego through a drama created by the ego, and that is the danger of giving any kind of spiritual teaching.

The dream of an ultimate state

As I inspired this messenger to realize recently, there are people in the world who claim to be enlightened. If you claim that you are enlightened, then you are in a sense saying, at least in the minds of most people, that you have reached some ultimate state. You may gather followers who are not willing to take responsibility for themselves and are therefore looking for a guru with some absolute state of consciousness. The guru and the students may create a self-reinforcing spiral.

The problem is that if you think you have reached an ultimate state on earth, you will not go any further. That means you will be denying the aspect of the ego that you still have. I know some people will say that if you are enlightened, you have no ego left and that is true. But then you are no longer in embodiment on earth because you cannot remain in embodiment unless you have some aspect of ego left. It may be very slight and you may have reached a high level of consciousness. If you think there is nothing beyond your state of consciousness, you can only think so by denying the element of ego you have left. Then, you cannot let go of that ego and be free to ascend.

Creativity is the antidote to control

The ascension is a process that requires you to be completely free. The process of self-mastery is also a process that requires you to attain a very high degree of freedom. Not in the same way as you have when you ascend, but in the way that you are free to express your creative abilities. What does it mean to be free, to be creative? It means to understand what the fallen beings have done in order to shut down creativity and make you limit your creativity.

Do you understand, my beloved, that the fallen beings are attempting to control everything on earth? How do you control? You must shut down creativity because what is the nature of creativity? It is unpredictable, it is spontaneous. It comes up with something new, perhaps even something so new that nobody could even imagine it.

The fallen beings are mortally afraid of your creativity. They also know that nothing in this world can limit creativity. The entire nature of creativity is that it transcends boundaries. There are no boundaries that can truly limit your creativity, except the boundaries created in your own mind so you do not dare to even express it.

The primary means used by the fallen beings to shut down people’s creativity is to create the idea that there is a standard against which everything must be measured. The standard has only two polarities. Either something is good enough, perfect, acceptable, or it is a mistake, bad, unacceptable. This evaluation, this judgment, has nothing to do with creativity. It is, we might say, the antithesis of creativity.

When you first came to this planet, you came to express your light, your creativity, your individuality. The fallen beings did everything they could to make you feel rejected, to make you feel that there was something wrong with your light. Your creativity was not good enough, you were not good enough.

This caused so many people to go into this race that I have talked about of trying to be perfect, trying to live up to the standard, thinking that if only you are good enough, then you will be accepted. You understand, my beloved, that if you have a mechanism in your mind that seeks to compare your expression to an outer standard before you dare to express yourself, then, right there, you have shut down your creativity.

Creativity is spontaneous! You have become so used to evaluating everything with the linear, analytical mind. The fallen beings have induced in most people this very subtle idea that everything should be analyzed. Everything should be evaluated by the analytical mind, which compares everything to a standard. Most people are not aware of the standard they are using. Sometimes they are aware of a standard put upon them by society. Certainly, the educational systems of the world are all geared towards making you accept that there is a standard and your creativity needs to be compared to it. Even the educational institutions that teach some form of creative expression, be it art or whatever, are still reinforcing this idea that creativity must be compared to a standard.

The Initiations of 2016

Ascended Master Mother Mary through Kim Michaels, January 11, 2016

I am the Ascended Master Mother Mary, and I would like to speak to you today about the energies and the initiations that you will be facing and that the planet will be facing for this coming year. We give many teachings on our websites and in our books about the fact that there are seven spiritual rays, seven primary energies, that were used to create the physical universe. Starting in 2013, each year the planet will be initiated in one of these seven rays, which means that 2016 will be the year of the Fourth Ray, which is often seen as the ray of purification and acceleration.

You will, therefore, see that in this coming year many impurities will be brought to the surface where they can no longer remain hidden and they can no longer be ignored by the people. You have already seen this happen, to some degree, right after the New Year with the executions in Saudi Arabia that has stirred up the long-running conflict in the Islamic community between Sunni and Shiite Muslims. You have seen it in Cologne in Germany with the attacks on women on New Year’s Eve. You have seen revenge actions from those who are not seeking a good cause but seeking to stir up conflict. These are just a couple of examples what you can expect to see in this coming year.

This, of course, does not mean that I want to portray this year in a negative way. It is simply that when the energies are released by the ascended masters, these are positive, love-based energies. Because they bring more light, it becomes easier to see the darkness that has, so far, remained hidden in the shadows. I do not, in any way, intend to promote fear in you. You do not need to fear when the impurities are exposed. Instead, you need to take action, which you can do in many different ways. The one we primarily promote is, of course, giving our invocations and decrees, where you invoke spiritual light.

War is not a much greater possibility in 2016 than it will be in the coming years. We are not here talking about a planetary conflict, or anything like that. But we are talking about the fact that conflict will come to the surface and that there will be certain trigger events that will release conflict. What you can do by giving these invocations is in many cases make a contribution to preventing these trigger events. This is why I released my book on how to stop war and how you can help stop war before this year, 2016, knowing what the initiations are for the planet.

You will notice that if you take a glass of water and fill it, there can come a point where the water is actually almost running over and there is a tension in the surface of the water that prevents it from running over. If you add that last drop, then it runs over. This is where you can have an impact, even though there are not so many spiritual people on the planet. If you invoke the light, you can, in many cases, prevent that last drop from making conflict spill into the physical world.

We give many teachings on the fact that there are three higher octaves of the material universe. The emotional being the one right above the physical, then the mental and the identity. Often, you will see that there is great tension in the emotional body of a country or a region. You know that this is the case in many places on earth. You will, therefore, know that any spark can set off a more wide-spread conflict, as you have seen many times.

That is why, at these crucial moments when the tension has reached a peak, the calls of the spiritual people can have a tremendous impact on preventing that trigger event that will make the conflict physical and therefore much more difficult to stop. Usually, once a conflict spills into the physical, the only thing that will stop it is that it is taken to such an extreme that people finally realize that they have had enough of conflict and stop. Even if they have not solved the problem, they realize that peace is more important than being right.

Finding Peace in Giving Service

I AM the Ascended Master Serapis Bey. We are now at the sixth level of my retreat, the level where you face the combination of the Fourth Ray of Purity and the Sixth Ray, which has often been called the ray of service and the ray of peace.

What is the connection between service and peace? We have told you that you descended to earth with a higher purpose, a purpose that is beyond what most people can see with their conscious minds. You descended here because you saw that this is a low planet with much darkness and that conditions need to be changed on earth. You came here because you thought that by taking embodiment, bringing your light, expressing your individual creativity, you could make a difference and indeed help raise the earth to a higher level where it can spin off some of the darker manifestations you currently see, such as war and other forms of man’s inhumanity to man.

We might say that a huge part of your motivation, your intention, for coming to earth was to give a service that would help bring the earth to a higher level. It is therefore built into your deepest intention that you want to improve the earth, to raise up the earth.

When service takes away your peace

What I aim to show you now is how your desire to give service to earth can take away your sense of peace. This is unfortunately something that can be reinforced by you finding the spiritual path and following a spiritual teaching. There are various spiritual teachings out there that are influenced by the subtle ideas of the fallen beings, especially the epic mindset. These teachings will directly give their followers the sense that they are here to change specific conditions on earth. Even the ascended master teachings, that we give, can reinforce this epic mindset and a desire to see specific changes on earth. We are, of course, often asking you to make calls for specific changes. Mother Mary’s book on war, for example, gives you tools for making specific calls that will help eradicate war from the earth (Help the Ascended Masters Stop War). How, then, do you balance the desire to see specific changes with your inner peace?

It is obvious that we of the ascended masters want to see specific changes on earth. We obviously want to see war banished from this planet. We want to see the earth accelerated into a higher state where war and the lifestreams who embody the warring consciousness are simply spun off because they cannot remain with the accelerated vibration of the planet and the collective consciousness.

Nevertheless, as I said before, we want to see this within the context of the Law of Free Will. We want to see that a majority of the people on earth use their free will to raise their consciousness beyond the consciousness of, for example, war. How can they do this? They cannot do so by being forced to do so.

Do you not see, my beloved, that we are not asking you to make calls and invocations that are forcing people? We are asking you to make calls that are raising their insight, their knowledge, their vision so that they can voluntarily make these changes.

Do you not see by now that one of the essential differences between the ascended masters and the false hierarchy is that we have total respect for free will and the false hierarchy have no respect for free will whatsoever.

The fallen beings force people to react

What is it that the fallen beings have done from the moment they came to earth? They have forced people into reacting to them and against them. Do you not see that this is one of the mechanisms behind war and all kinds of violence? You are in a physical body, you have to live somewhere in order to exist and provide for yourself and your family. You live on a piece of land, if some other group of people assemble an army and come marching into your territory in order to take it over and potentially kill you and your family, then you are forced to react to that in some way.

This is how the fallen beings have forced people into these reactionary spirals that become self-reinforcing. You see, for example, in the Middle East how people have, for thousands of years, been trapped in the same kind of reactionary spiral. The fallen beings hardly need to do anything to keep it going because the people are doing so of their own accord. They cannot pull themselves out of these spirals. You see, of course, that these spirals are the antithesis to peace. There can be no peace among people when they are trapped in such a spiral. There can be no peace within people when they are trapped in such a spiral. These spirals that take away people’s peace may not be warring among nations or ethnic groups. They can be spirals within families or at workplaces where you are, again, trapped in reacting to or reacting against other people. Some people, whether it be in their marriage or among their brothers and sisters or parents, have been trapped in a spiral with the same souls for lifetimes. They keep reincarnating in the same family groups because they cannot break out of the spirals they have with the other souls in the group.

You, of course, are a spiritual student, an ascended master student. You have already pulled yourself out of the more obvious of these reactionary spirals or you would not have raised yourself above the 48th level of consciousness. What I am seeking to help you see here is that there are other reactionary spirals that are more subtle.

One of these spirals is the sense that because the fallen beings have forced people into a downward spiral, you who are the spiritual people are justified in forcing people out of the downward spiral for their own good. This is the essence of the epic mindset where you think there is an epic battle between good and evil and you are taking the side of good. Because evil is so aggressive, it is necessary for you to use force to defeat evil or to free people from the clutches of evil.

This is the justification behind all the kinds of force-based measures taken by religious people, spiritual people or other types of well-meaning people who thought they were working for a good cause but were still using force. At your level, at the sixth level of my retreat on the Fourth Ray, you have freed yourself from these spirals, but have you completely freed yourself from the subtle mindset behind it?

Service and success

Even if you are not reacting directly against other people or seeking to force them, you can still be affected by this subtle sense that you are here to give a service to earth and that the measure for evaluating whether you are successful in giving this service is that you see specific outer changes. My beloved, as long as you think that your service on this planet depends on producing specific outer changes that are tied to the free-will choices of other people, then you can never attain inner peace.

You may say, as many students do when we discuss this at the etheric level: “But Serapis, are you saying we are not here to give service and produce specific changes? Are we not here to help remove evil from the earth?” Well, the answer to that question is: “yes and no” because it depends on how you look at it.

We have before used the image that you can have a group of people who are trapped in a dark cave. Because they are in darkness, they cannot see where they are or what they are doing so there are certain choices they cannot make consciously. If you slowly increase the level of light in the room, the people will gradually begin to see more clearly. As their vision clears, they will, from within, begin to make more conscious, more aware choices. It has been said by Master MORE that if people knew better, they would do better and it is true for all except the fallen beings. It is even true for the fallen beings, but they will never get to know better until they shift their consciousness and swallow their pride, which is very difficult for them to do.

For all other lifestreams, if they truly see that there is a better option than what they have chosen so far, then they will, in most cases spontaneously, choose that option. As the old story goes, if you think you are holding a rope and the light increases and you see that it is a snake, you will spontaneously let go of the snake.

Your job is not to produce specific changes by forcing other people. How do you, for example, force people to become peaceful? It is force that takes away their peace and makes them go to war with each other. How does more force remove the force that is already there and has created havoc on earth? It cannot be done!

The fallen beings have created all kinds of subtle ideas that say, not only that it can be done but that it is the only way it can be done. The end can justify the means. This has never been and never will be the method of the ascended masters. We work with free will, within the Law of Free Will. Increase the light and people will make better choices. If they do not, then stand back and let them go into a downward spiral until they have had enough of that experience and cry out for more, as they inevitably will when the knocks become hard enough.

Can you see, my beloved, that there is a conflict between your original, pure love-based motivation for coming to earth and the motivation and the view that you have in your conscious mind and in your three higher bodies? Can you see that what I am pointing out to you is that as long as there is a conflict between the two, you cannot find inner peace on this planet?

You cannot be at peace with being in embodiment on earth as long as you think you are here to produce specific changes that are dependent on the free-will choices of other people. You must come to the point where you realize that your service to life does not depend on any condition or any person outside yourself.

When we discuss this at my retreat, when we sit in groups and discuss this topic, students often react by saying: “But how do we then give service? We cannot see how we give service.” What have we said is the goal of the path of self-mastery? It is to be an open door for the light that comes from your I AM Presence and from the hierarchy of ascended masters above you.
